And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. (Luke 10:5)

The power of peace: Beyond swords and spears

As Christians, we are called to be ambassadors of peace, carrying the message of peace wherever we go. True peace comes from our relationship with God and is not dependent on external circumstances. When we face challenges, we must surrender our battles to God and trust in His victory. The story of David and Goliath reminds us that the Lord fights for us, and our role is to trust in Him and speak peace into every circumstance. Let us rely on the power of God and His peace to transform lives and bring hope to a world in need. Read more...

Francisco Diaz S.: Blessings Pastor E. Diehl.- His words invite us to live in the peace of the Lord "My peace I give you, my peace I leave you" Let us live in peace with God and with ourselves and we will be happy.- May our life be blameless.- Praise the Lord
What a wonderful reflection, Francisco! The passage Pastor Diehl quotes reminds us that the battle belongs to the Lord, and that He gives us the peace we need to face any difficult situation. Also, as you mention, it is important to live in peace with God and with ourselves in order to achieve happiness in our lives. As you say in the verse that you quote "Peace to this house", it is important that our lives be blameless and that we transmit that peace to others. God bless you!
Gustavo Martinez Afanador : The peace of men is limited, because the damage comes from within the heart of the human being, where hatred and resentment are. True peace is found in CHRIST opening the heart so that He took control and can work in our life and we are happy with peace with the LORD. Blessings
You are absolutely right, Gustavo. As you rightly say, the peace that human beings can offer is limited, since our nature often leads us to feel hatred and resentment. But thank God, we can find true peace in Christ Jesus, opening our hearts so that He can take control and work in our lives. By having peace with God, we can experience true happiness and bring that peace to others. As he says in Ernst Diehl's devotional, "the battle is the Lord's" and we can trust Him to give us the peace we long for. God bless you!
