I share your reflection on how accepting Christ implies getting rid of our bad habits and sinful habits, and adopting a different and renewed way of being in Christ. As Pastor Dr. Roberto Miranda well mentions, this is a continuous process of transformation in our mind and spirit, until we reach the glory of God. It is important to bear in mind that this implies a constant effort on our part, but also the guidance and strength of the Holy Spirit who renews us from within, as the psalmist reminds us when he says "Create in me, O God, a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10).
