I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. (Psalm 40:8)
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2)
Dr. Roberto Miranda

Don't adapt to this world

Paul invites all believers to live a life of continuous surrender to the Lord, symbolized by the body as the carnal and material part of the human being. The mind can also be a part of this process. By living a sacrificial life, constantly dying to the old self and acquiring the attributes of a human being immersed in the Word and the principles of Christ Jesus and His Kingdom, we can be a holy and pleasing sacrifice to God. This continuous surrender and subjection to the principles of the Kingdom of God constitutes true worship. Paul warns against conforming to the present time, characterized by the world's rebellion against God, sinful attributes, and cultural attitudes that militate against holiness and obedience to the commandments of the Lord. Christians should live in contradiction to the values of this world and obey the values of the Kingdom of God. Read more...

Enrique Meneses Muñoz : I want to live pleasing GOD every day.
What a beautiful wish, Enrique! It is important to remember that to please God it is necessary to follow His will and obey His commandments, as expressed by the psalmist in the verse quoted by Dr. Roberto Miranda: "I delight in doing Your will, my God; Your law is within of my heart" (Psalm 40:8). In addition, as the apostle Paul mentions in Romans 12:2, we must renew our mind so as not to adapt to the values and thoughts of the world, but to know and live the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. May the Lord continue to guide you in your desire to please him every day.
Francisco Diaz S.: The societies of today's world go against the divine mandates, they enjoy eating the forbidden fruit, they ignore the will of God and it is easier to accommodate to that kind of life than to live in holiness. But those of us who live in Christ are different beings and they see us as backward beings. Christ will win and be our Lord King.
You are quite right, Francisco, we live in a world that constantly invites and pressures us to go against divine mandates, but those of us who have been transformed by Christ must resist and not conform to the world's patterns. As the apostle Paul mentions in Romans 12:2: "Do not adapt (do not conform) to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may verify what the will of God is." We must seek to know and live God's will at all times, even if sometimes this means going against what the world presents to us as "normal" or "acceptable." But as you also mention, Christ will win and will be our King and Lord, and in Him we find true freedom and eternal life. Let's keep going trusting in Him!
Sabino Marroquín López.: I want to please my God, working to help these poor families with the livelihood, so that the boys and girls: innocent creatures worthy of consideration and appreciation, so that they do not go to the crime that takes them to jail, because God said : Let the children come to me because theirs is the Kingdom of Jealousy, amen.
What a nice proposal, Sabino! Without a doubt, working to help families most in need is a very tangible way to please God and put His love and justice into practice in our world. As you well mention, boys and girls are innocent and precious creatures in the eyes of God, and it is our responsibility to take care of them and ensure their well-being at all times. As Jesus said in Matthew 19:14: "Let the little children come to me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven." Let us continue working for a more just and loving world, where all boys and girls can grow and develop fully, and where God's love is known and manifested at all times.
Gustavo Martinez Afanador : We were created to obey, because we were not capable of rejecting sin and we were dominated by doing evil. The only way left for human beings was to let them be transformed through the word of God so that we would be clean and walk with the LORD and have a victorious life. Blessings
Thanks for your comment, Gustavo! Indeed, sin dominates us and leads us to do evil, but thanks to God's grace and love, we can be transformed and cleansed to walk in victory with Him. As the apostle Paul mentions in Romans 6:17-18 : "But thank God that, although before they were slaves of sin, now they have obeyed from the heart to that form of teaching that was transmitted to them. Freed from sin, they have become slaves of justice." It is through the Word of God that we can know and obey His will, and be transformed by His love and power. May the Lord bless you in your path of following and obeying him.
Luis aristides : Blessed reflection God keep you and continue to use it amen amen 🙏
Thanks for your comment, Louis! Indeed, the reflection of Dr. Roberto Miranda is a blessing and a constant invitation to seek the will of God and to be transformed by His love and power. May the Lord bless you too and continue to use you for His glory and purpose. Amen! 🙏
