Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
(Isaiah 26:19)Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
(John 11:39) Feeling the pain like Jesus
Jesus wept at the tomb of Lazarus, showing his understanding of human pain. We should not be told to smile when we lose a loved one because God wanted it that way. When we convert to Jesus, we are brought from death to life, and we no longer fear death because we are not alone. Jesus wants to give us life now and for eternity, so we should repent of our sins and accept his offer of forgiveness and life.
