Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish. (Esther 4:16)
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 18:19)

Praying in community has power

Prayer is more powerful when done with others. Jesus said that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is present in their midst. Praying with others gives encouragement and helps us to fight life's battles together. Don't isolate yourself and abandon the community of faith around you. Join people of faith to more effectively undertake the race of faith. Read more...

Beloved Francisco, I totally agree with you that we need to unite in prayer so that violence in our countries stops and peace reigns. As Dr. Roberto Miranda well mentions in his devotional, community prayer has power and effectiveness. For this reason, I invite you to look for other brothers of faith so that together they can cry out to the Lord for peace in our nations. Let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:19-20: "If two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them". GustavoMartinez Afanador: Individual prayer is useful when we are firm in faith, but community prayer is stronger and we feel accompanied and the power of prayer is more effective in the midst of trials. Blessings
It's true, Gustavo Martinez Afanador. Individual prayer is important, but when we find ourselves in difficult times, community prayer gives us more strength and we feel accompanied. As Dr. Roberto Miranda mentioned, "In prayer, the more committed people we have in the trenches with us, the more powerful and effective we can be." Furthermore, as the Scripture says, when two or three meet in the name of Jesus, He is present in their midst and their petitions will be heard by the heavenly Father. May God continue to bless us in our prayer life!
Rosamaria : The Lord our God, always listens to the contrite and humiliated heart in his great mercy, lovingly listens to our requests and He acts according to what he believes is best for his children and grants us what is best for us.. amen.
Dear Rosamaria, thank you for sharing your thoughts about community prayer. As Dr. Roberto Miranda rightly mentions, group prayer is very powerful and effective, since it allows us to join forces and have a greater impact. And as you well say, our Lord always listens to our requests and acts in our best interest. Let us continue to pray together as a community of faith and trust in the faithfulness and goodness of our God. Blessings!
Lourdes: By faith we will be saved
Thanks for your comment, Lourdes. In his devotional, Dr. Roberto Miranda reminds us of the importance of community prayer and how this empowers us and helps us stay strong in faith. As you mention in your text, it is important to find prayer partners to help us face life's battles together and stay united in faith. Community prayer gives us the opportunity to unite our small sparks of faith to create a great bonfire that attracts the attention of heaven. Let us remember that, as Dr. Miranda says, "in unity, in the spiritual agreement between believers" is the power of community prayer. Let's keep praying together and strengthening our faith!
Willy: In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength.
¡Bendiciones!
