Jesus reconciles humanity to God

Jesus Christ is not only the Creator and Sustainer of all things, but also the Reconciler of all creation. Through his death on the cross, he brings harmony and order to a world that has been torn apart by sin. This process of reconciliation is ongoing, as the Kingdom of Heaven advances and the forces of good and evil struggle. Ultimately, there will come a day when everything is subject to the Father and creation is in perfect order. Jesus Christ is also at work in our hearts, bringing us into harmony with God and ourselves. The reconciling role of Jesus Christ is a wonderful function that brings hope to a world in conflict.
