And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, (Ezekiel 37:13)
But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. (1 Corinthians 15:20)
Dr. Roberto Miranda

Jesus is first at the beginning and first also at the end

Jesus Christ is not only the firstborn of all physical creation but also of the new spiritual creation through his death and resurrection. He is the first to rise from the dead and is therefore unique among all religions. Denying the physical resurrection of Jesus means denying the fundamental truth of Christian faith. His resurrection gives us hope and assurance of our own resurrection and eternal life. He is the first in everything and has preeminence over all. Read more...

Tomas Lopez: I did not understand when you said that Jesus is the first being created. What is it referring to? Thank you.
Dear Tomás, Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional is based on the following Biblical quotations: "But now Christ has risen from the dead, firstfruits of those who slept" (1 Corinthians 15:20) and "And they will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from your graves, My people" (Ezekiel 37:13). What Dr. Roberto Miranda wants to express is that Jesus is the first in the resurrection, that is, he is the first to rise from the dead and he is the first in God's plan of salvation for humanity. He was not the first being created, but is the eternal Son of God, who existed before the creation of the world. I hope this answers your question. Blessings.
Tomas Lopez: Thank you very much very kind.
You're welcome, Thomas. God bless you!
