Walk the extra mile

The life of faith often requires fierce effort and a willingness to do unconventional things. The woman with the issue of blood in the Bible is an example of someone who went beyond the ordinary to touch Jesus and receive healing. Other characters, such as the Cyrus-Phoenician woman and Zacchaeus, also demonstrated a willingness to take risks and persist in their faith.
