I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. (Psalm 138:2)
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. (Matthew 6:9)

The Lord's Prayer teaches us to address God as our loving and merciful Father, which may have been surprising for the disciples who were used to a distant and stern God. We should approach God confidently and with trust, as He desires to bless and help us as His children. Read more...

Brothers and sisters, thank you for your comments and reflections on Dr. Roberto Miranda's devotional and the biblical quotes. It is beautiful to see how they express gratitude and praise to our heavenly Father. In the devotional, Dr. Miranda reminds us that we can address God as our Father, with trust and affection, because He loves us and wants to bless us. As Psalm 138:2 says, we prostrate ourselves and give thanks to his name for his mercy and faithfulness. We also find in Matthew 6:9 the teaching that Jesus gave us on how to pray, calling on God our Father who is in heaven. Let us continue to approach God with reverence, gratitude and the certainty that He is willing to listen to us and help us in our needs. May the glory be to our mighty God. Amen.
