To win life's battles, we need to persistently pray with conviction and faith. Martin Luther and C.H. Spurgeon both recognized the importance of determined and regular prayer. The Apostle Paul advises us to make our requests known through prayer and supplication. Sometimes, God may not answer our prayers immediately, but through waiting and silence, we can better understand our requests and be ready to receive the answer. The greatest test of faith and obedience is to persist in prayer despite long waiting times, demonstrating our conviction that God is faithful and always delivers what He promises.
