Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.

Holiness is important for Christians and is a constant search for growth in sanctification. Without holiness, we cannot experience God's blessings or see the Lord. It is a process that requires a daily struggle against sin and a search for spiritual growth. Our sanctification is a work of God, but we also have a responsibility to actively pursue holiness. God wants holiness for his children so that we can reflect a life regenerated by the Spirit and be a blessing to others. Pursuing holiness will enable us to see the face of God on that day.
