The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
(Isaiah 61:1)The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The author reflects on their prayers for the salvation of their neighbors and how easy it is for people to selectively choose who they would like to see saved based on their own criteria. They emphasize that God's plan of salvation is for everyone, and it is not for humans to decide who is worthy or not. The touch of God can begin with a simple smile or an outstretched hand, and anyone can be an instrument of God's love and mercy.
