Environments and people that infect us with their passion for the Holy Spirit

When Samuel anoints Saul, he gives him instructions to meet three men on his way to Bethel who are going up to seek God. These men represent the importance of associating with people who have the anointing of the Holy Spirit and know how to seek and handle its energy. The Spirit of God is received more by impartation and contagion than by teaching, and we need to seek environments where the Presence of the Lord moves and people who love the Spirit of God. Both good teaching and the fire of the Holy Spirit are needed in the Kingdom of God, and we should seek to infect ourselves with the passion for the Holy Spirit from others. Read more...
