God speaks today Monday | January 3, 2022
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
(Habakkuk 2:3)The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
(2 Peter 3:9) God is never ahead and never behind
God's timing for His mercies is perfect. We may be in a hurry for blessings, but God's time is the best time. The Word of God is living and will come to pass, even if it seems delayed. We should be patient and trust in God's faithfulness, as none of His promises will fail or need renewing. We should rest in Him and find peace. This message is from The Bank of Faith Checkbook by Charles Spurgeon.
