God blesses the spiritual man (woman)

The spiritual man (or woman) is one who has been born of the Spirit and is a new creation of God. However, there is also the carnal or immature Christian who struggles with establishing their own lordship instead of surrendering to the influence of the Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit is complete and given without limitations by the Spirit, but one must live in Christ and rest in Him to receive it. The Spirit empowers and imparts gifts for the edification of the church and to glorify God. It is possible to become self-controlled, meek, faithful, kind, patient, peaceful, full of joy, and full of love through submission to the Spirit's lordship and abiding in Christ. The flesh, or old nature, has already died on the cross, and if one decides to be spiritual (ruled by the Spirit), their life will change. Read more...
