Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?

Paul in Romans 1:20 says that nature itself speaks about the character of God. Through nature, we can observe that God is a loving, holy, gracious, and just God. Therefore, behavior that goes against these characteristics, such as homosexuality, does not reflect God's behavior as manifested by His creation. Paul also condemns the idolatrous representation of God using animal forms and forms that reflect a demonic and diabolical behavior. He warns against humanity's rebellion against God, preferring their own moral and ethical conclusions, which leads to a darkened perception and foolishness.
