A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit. (Proverbs 29:23)
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: (1 Peter 5:6)

But I was challenged to really examine my heart again. Seeing today’s commentary by Spurgeon on humility again underscores my own sense of self-examination so that I’m not secretly wanting God to rend the heavens and come down because of any personal reason. I pray that my desires to see Him revealed and reveared are purely for He and His purposes. Blessings, Brandt
