Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom

Andrés Cisterna
(Audio: Spanish)

SUMMARY: The Spirit of the Lord brings freedom, movement, and power to our lives. It is not limited to just emotional experiences, but has many more consequences than what we can see in a Church. The Spirit allows us to project ourselves towards what the Lord is proposing in our lives. When we are wrapped in the Spirit, there is nothing that can defeat us. The Holy Spirit teaches us all things, detail by detail, and reminds us of everything Jesus has told us. Living in the Spirit brings life, even in our mortal bodies, and restores our hope and desire.

A Church that lives in the Spirit is a Church that is free, constantly moving, powerful, and full of life. The Spirit of the Lord gives life, renews, restores, and brings hope even to mortal bodies. It is the difference of the Lord's Church that shows life to those around us. The devil does not want us to move at the level of the Spirit, but when we let the Lord allow us to live in the Spirit, the devil has no power over us. We need a Church that is enlivened by the Spirit every day, not just at religious levels, but also at economic and professional levels. We should seek the things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God and set our sights on them. We need to claim our freedom and ask the Spirit to come into our lives.

I want to invite you to open your Bible to the second book of Corinthians, the second book of Corinthians chapter 3 verse 17, it is a biblical portion that has impacted my life in recent times, and despite the fact that many times I have been able to read it and share it , and hearing from others, the Lord took me through a series of passages related to this. But I want you to know one thing and I want you to make it very clear in your heart, Corinthians chapter 3 verse 17, "For the Lord is spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." Have you memorized it yet? Very easy, we say it loud, if you are free you will say it loud, finally move your mouth big like this. Because the Lord is spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Can you look at your brother if he has a free face? And if you have memorized the text, and if your brother does not have a free face, take the opportunity to repeat it there. It is one of the great challenges of the Church. I believe that living in the Spirit has powerful consequences in our lives, and one of those things we sometimes limit it to just an emotional experience, I believe that many of us here have had an experience with the Holy Spirit, many have spoken in tongues, many have danced, many have raised their arms, many feel certain services where we wish we could run through the Church because this sensation of visitation from the Lord is so strong. But you know, many times we limit that work of the Spirit to those kinds of emotions or experiences. And while it is true we can have it, even living in the Spirit has many more consequences than what we can see in a Church.
