The hidden evil

Summary: Man's ego is a source of evil that Satan conceals within it. The ego makes us believe that we are superior and more skilled than others, leading us to cause pain, suffering, and death to others, including animals. We must get rid of this evil and be guided by the Word of God, saying NO to temptation and promising not to sin.

There is an evil of man hidden deep within his being that Satan conceals it within the ego and thus it happens as if it were something natural.

The ego, the vanity of being superior to all and more skilled than all, no matter what the cost , the pain, the suffering, the blood and the death of our brothers, or that of the animals of our Lord, hunting, killing and torturing just to enjoy it. Contempt for the poor, the handicapped, those who do not have sufficient resources and who we look down on showing superiority, tossing them a coin not out of love, but out of pride of being able to do so because we have plenty of money, shows us that ego that we feed with pride, with vanity and the supposed satisfaction of being the best.

Now we realize that behind that satisfaction of being better we are accumulating a lot of evil. We are sowing pain, death and destruction in other hearts.

It is necessary for the Christian to get rid of that bad yeast, which apparently we do not have but which lends itself to ferment when the occasion presents itself. Let's erase all the past, let's remove everything that could harm us in our relationship with our Heavenly Father. We must be guided by the Word of God and not by human passions, we must say NO to any temptation we have and always remember this promise that we make to God:

"LORD, I PROMISE YOU NOT TO SIN, TO DEPART FROM EVIL AND NOT FALL INTO TEMPTATION."
