The author invites those who have not accepted Jesus as a gift to do so and experience His guiding and comforting presence.
Speaking as a family, we remembered with my sisters a movie we saw as children: The Prince and the Beggar. In this film, two twin brothers, due to different circumstances, separated them as babies. One of the babies lived with a royal family educating himself and enjoying the privileges of the nobility , he was a prince of about 12 years. But his brother was unfortunately taken by a poor family who also exploited him and had to beg on the streets.
One day when the prince was going through the streets, the beggar approached him to ask for a coin, then the prince noticed the resemblance he had despite his dirty face and ragged clothes. The prince invited the beggar to a part of the castle to speak and there they decide to change clothes and position for a day. After changing his clothes, the prince went out to face an inhospitable world where his parents mistreated him for not bringing alms, he also received blows from a gang that always fought with the beggar but they could not hit him because they knew how to defend themselves very well.
Talking about this movie, I was reminded of the life of Jesus. We always remember his sacrifice on the cross of Calvary, but in truth the Lord's sacrifice begins in the incarnation when he stripped off his royal garment to enter a hostile world that rejected him, although He came to bring light to this world full of darkness. His purpose was to reconcile humanity with the Heavenly Father. He did not come to be exalted but to humble himself. His humiliation is from his birth until he obediently surrenders his life on the cross. In this Christmas season there is joy and happiness, kindness and goodwill are unleashed, however in many homes the presence of Jesus does not enter. If you do not have Jesus in your heart this is the best Christmas gift you can receive. He will transform your life, fill you with true peace and joy.
The true meaning of Christmas is the adoration of Jesus, it is not revealed by the wise men and shepherds when approaching the manger. Heavenly Father, thank you for the wonderful gift of Jesus fills the lives of all those who at this time are experiencing loneliness, physical or emotional afflictions and those whose sadness over the loss of a loved one does not perceive your wonderful and comforting presence. May you receive this gift if you have not accepted it before so that He will guide you and accompany you until eternity. May Jesus 'visitation to all life fill them with adoration in Jesus' name, amen.
