Let's activate the mind of Christ that is in us

SUMMARY: As believers in Christ, we have the mind of Christ, which means we should think, act, and evaluate everything as he does. This privilege is only given to those who have been born again and have the Holy Spirit. By continuously reading the Bible and praying, our minds will be renewed to the mind of Christ. This truth should change the way we live and relate to others, as we see them as Christ sees them. We should ask God to help us activate the mind of Christ in us.

The Bible is one of the methods God uses to speak to us. Through it the Lord gives us advice on how to live according to his will; how to act and think as he does. In 1 Corinthians 2:16 specifically the Lord tells us that we have the mind of Christ. Meaning that every child of God who has confessed that Jesus is his Lord possesses his mind. So we should think as he thinks, look at things as he looks at them, evaluate everything as he does. In other words, to be radically transformed in the way of Jesus.

Having the mind of Christ also implies knowing what he thinks, and what plans he has for us, and even knowing what he expects of us. Every child of God, born again, must have this truth always present, that we no longer live but that Christ lives in us.
