If you want your children to live a holy life, you must live a holy life.

SUMMARY: The Bible commands us to pass on the teachings and commandments of God to our children and future generations, so that they may trust in Him and not forget His works. We should bring our children to church and talk to them about the Lord. To keep them passionate about God, we must live the lifestyle we want them to live and cultivate. We must be an example and live a holy life, serving and taking risks for the Kingdom of God. We should not make excuses or take it easy, but continue to invest in the Gospel. By standing next to us, our children and grandchildren can become on fire for the Lord.

I want to start with a Bible verse. Psalm 78:5-8 says: "He established a testimony in Jacob and established a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to notify their children" to notify their children of that law "so that the next generation may know it and the children that will be born, and those who will rise up will tell their children so that they can put their trust in God and do not forget the works of God, that they keep His commandments and that they not be like their parents, a stubborn generation, hard and rebellious, a generation that did not dispose its heart nor was its spirit faithful with God."

It's a very powerful verse, isn't it? He ordered our ancestors to order these things to their children says Psalm 78 so that the next generation knows, those children who have not yet been born, it is a commandment from God that we anticipate and bring the Gospel, the Word of God to our children and we also take it to our children's children. God planted that idea in our hearts so that we can create culture.

The God of the generations
Blessings in our lives may not necessarily be due to our own actions, but rather the spiritual deposits made by our ancestors. By living faithfully and blessing our descendants, the blessings can pass down for generations. As parents, we should cover our children with our faithful and consistent parenting, nurturing them with the Word of God, and passing on our blessings and love for God.
