Summary: The potter in his workshop is a symbol of God molding us. Just as the potter perseveres through pain to create a perfect piece, God does not give up on us even when we hurt ourselves and others. We are useless clay until touched by the Divine Artist, and it is His fidelity that knows no limits. Let us recognize that we are the work of His hands and carry His blood in us, and show it in our lives.

Imagine the scene: A potter's workshop. The clay is put on top of the wheel, the potter prepares to shape his work. It is not just any work, it is the work of his life, it needs to be perfect, otherwise, it will not serve the purpose for which it will be destined. He sits down and the lathe begins to turn, his loving hands are shaping the shapeless mass, beauty is appearing before his eyes and suddenly ... A sharp pain in his hand, the blood begins to mix with the mud, but cannot let go, it would spoil everything and despite its pain, it is more important that the piece does not deform. At last he can stop and carefully pull a sharp glass out of the dough. Keep going, no matter how many times he's hurt, he's not going to quit until his work is perfect.

Does it remind you of something or someone? You remember the prophet when he said: “And the clay pot that he made was spoiled in his hand; and he returned and made another pot, as he thought it best to make it. " Jer 18.4

When we arrive at the hands of our potter, we come full of crystals, there are crystals of various types and colors, some very attractive, but something they do have in common is that they hurt. The crystals of our life are capable of hurting ourselves and what is worse, we hurt those around us. But God doesn't care how many times his hands bleed in his quest to mold us for his glory.

We are useless clay until we are touched by the Divine Artist. "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the excellence of the power is from God, and not from us" 2 Cor 4.7 Even when we fall again and again, He goes for us, He rescues us from ourselves, He does not measure effort or material losses, He does not even care about his life, He gives it as a ransom. His fidelity knows no limits, this is our Savior.

The day you see His injured hands, reflect, if it was really the nails that caused them or if we were the ones who infringed them. You need to be a ready-made work for the purpose you were created for. Let us recognize as the prophet Isaiah: “Now therefore, Jehovah, you are our Father; we clay, and you the one who formed us; so we are all the work of your hands ”. Isa 64.8.

Do not forget that you carry His blood in you, it is He that gives you life and identity. Make it show.
