What should be the spirit that we Christians should project and reflect in the face of the great questions and the great challenges that lie ahead in this nation? How should we face the political and social events and issues that are affecting our country? If we are well informed, well instructed, then we can be good witnesses, good teachers, when people ask us. And we can also protect ourselves from any attitude or any behavior that is not the exact behavior that God wants us to have.

The word of the Lord informs us about how we should walk in this time. The Bible says, we have a great cloud of witnesses around us and they are not only the witnesses of those characters who preceded us in the Bible and historically, but also in society, a world that wants to know how we face the challenges of this time. , how the church behaves before the questions raised by the circumstances of our time.

And Abraham is a great man of God who instructs us on how we should behave and what the spirit should be, that spirit of generosity, that spirit of tolerance, that spirit of love that is so necessary to effectively navigate the waters in which we meet.

As I was saying last Sunday, our nation, the United States, is divided in a way like never before. I was saying this morning that not even in the civil war of the 19th century where hundreds of thousands of American women were killed in the war over slavery, where this nation was divided and almost divided physically, politically and that's what that war was about, about the issue of slavery.

And today, in the 21st century, an issue similar to that is what remains, the ballast of what was left of those years and decades of injustice in this nation, where hundreds of thousands of African slaves were brought from Africa under the worst conditions imaginable that it truly is hard to believe that human beings are capable of perpetrating that kind of cruelty on other human beings.

People brought like prayers and worse than praying, I believe that nowadays a cow is not treated with the cruelty with which those slaves who came from Africa in ships stuck in the shape were treated, like a horror movie across the ocean, brought to this nation, by a nation that called itself Christian and that calls itself Christian. And I believe that the only thing that protects us from these atrocities is when we truly ingest the word of God, the values of the kingdom of God, and when we commit ourselves before the Lord not to act according to the flesh, not to act according to the world, but to act according to the values of the word of God. because? Because cultures through the centuries are capable of entering a kind of diabolical trance where the enemy sort of casts a net of hypnotism over a nation or over an entire culture and people who are not sufficiently penetrated by the values of Christ, even though they confess Christ, they allow each other to be intoxicated and then they are capable of carrying out the most horrible atrocities that you can imagine even while you confess to being supposedly Christian societies that value the values of the Gospel.

There are very few human beings who have the psychological and emotional vigor and vitality to live isolated from others and say, I stand on what the word of the Lord says, not what man says. Many of us who right now say amen if God does not put his hand over time we could fall into that hypnosis.

The Bible says that in the last times things will get so bad that if God did not shorten time, the righteous would not be saved, no one would be saved. Because in the human being, in our neurological system, there is a desire for community, to belong to the group, and if we are not sufficiently prepared to live according to what the word of the Lord says and not what we see around us, we are going to fall into the enemy's trap and we are currently in those times.

And that is why it is necessary for the church of Jesus Christ to be administering a continuous dose of eternal spiritual biblical truth, not circumstantial, not subject to history, but subject to God's eternal vision so that we can then be able, like Daniel and his companions, stuck in Babylon say, no, we will not eat the king's food. If we perish, we perish but we are going to remain faithful to what we have received, what we have been taught, come what may. If they close their doors on us, if they reject us, that's their business. We will be faithful to the Lord.

But let me tell you something else to round out that idea, and the Lord will assemble you in your spirit as he pleases. Let us be careful with this dynamic that often leads us to take our coordinates, our coordinates, our points of reference from the world around us, from intellectuals, from the media, from culture, from cinema, from teachers, from the cultural and political leaders around us. We have to administer ourselves a dose each day of individuality in the spirit, of spiritual independence, we are not of this world.

The Bible says very clearly, do not conform to this century, that is, do not conform to this culture, do not conform to the way in which the human, material, historical carnal man conjugates history. Do not conform to this century, to this culture, but transform yourselves through the renewal of your understanding. Today, doctors have failed us, for example, social workers are failing us, our psychologists and psychiatrists are failing us. And that is the time we are in. Man has been angry with God. science has increased as the book of Daniel promises, science will increase before the Son of man comes. And we are seeing that. And we Christians have to have that discernment, that independence of criteria and strengthen ourselves in our spiritual, biblical foundations and say, I am not going to stop being carried away by what I see around me. The enemy is going to seduce your soul and take you to a dimension and a direction that you do not want to go. These are dangerous times. And the church of Jesus Christ has more than ever, that's why you should be reading this word, eating it continuously night and day. A Christian who does not know the Bible better stay at home and not go out because the Bible is the instruction manual for his life. There you have the teaching. And such was the resentment that the Germans absorbed and such a desire for revenge for what he had done to them, not learning the lesson the first time, that they were filled with resentment, went through a number of financial problems and in that environment of resentment And out of penury came a supposed savior named Adolf Hitler, promising him liberation and promising him revenge because that spirit of violence, that is the spirit of the devil, that is the spirit that many times in our nations wants to raise its head again. and part of this far-right movement, although again that's a very complex thing and I'll have to qualify these things.

But there is a part of what is happening in this country right now, not all because there are elements that I think are worth listening to and taking into account, but the spirit of violence, the spirit of racism, the spirit of anti-Semitism , the brute force spirit takes advantage because it is always alive. It is the spirit of the devil. It is the demonic spirit that animates this world, rises up. And many times it rises up under the appearance of pity and salvation and an offer to correct injustices, etc., but it is the spirit of man, it is the human spirit, it is the devilish, carnal, earthly, devilish spirit that says the word.

And those who are not well strengthened by the word of the Lord and by the values of Christ, of love, tenderness, forgiveness, mercy, patience, benevolence, and grace, are confused, are contaminated, and throw themselves after supposed leaders. Again, at this time we have to look at what is happening in our culture and look at even what many religious leaders, Christians, are doing and saying, and say, does this agree with the word of the Lord? Does it agree with the spirit of Christ? Does this agree with what I have been instructed to be the word, the revelation once given to the saints?

And that is why we have to be informed. That dream, that soporific, that sleeping pill, you have to move, you have to start walking, you have to start marching, you have to start declaring the word of God so that we wake up, come out of hypnotism, brothers, the trance in that the devil wants to put us.

And we have to ask ourselves, who are our reference points going to be? Culture, science, intellect, our political authorities, intellectuals or the word of God, the values of the Kingdom of God, the spirit of Jesus Christ? I think you know the answer. We have to ask the Lord, these are difficult times, brothers. Do not let your guard down, do not turn your back on the enemy, do not trust your friend because he may be the one who betrays you. And if you do not adhere to my word, you are going to be deceived, you are going to be seduced because there is a spirit of deceit and death that falls on the earth. The Lord says, my people, wake up, my people, despise your life to death. Do not fear those who can harm the body but cannot harm the spirit and soul. Rather fear the one who can harm your body but can also destroy your soul. God is needing a new church, a church blessed by his word, a church that eats daily from his word, a church that lives on another spiritual level.

Daniels that they can live in Babylon keeping themselves clean. Josephs who can work in Egypt but be used by God to prepare a womb for his people to grow and move on. That is what we need at this time and I desperately ask the Lord that we be of that spirit.

We are going to stand up for a moment and there take a couple of minutes to cry out to the Lord this afternoon. Take the word of the Lord seriously this afternoon and we are going to ask the Lord to have mercy beginning with the one who is up here preaching to you right now and that the Lord cover us, keep us with his blood, protect us, seal us with hot iron and put in our hearts the genetics of his word and his eternity because difficult times are coming, they are difficult times.

And if God does not speed up the coming of his Son, not even we the chosen ones would be saved. These are dangerous times, brothers, that we are living in, and I still tremble while preaching this message. I have to prepare myself, we have to prepare ourselves, we have to… pray to the Lord, cry out to the Lord for those children, cry out to the Lord for a youth that needs angels around them. Cry out for the church, cry out for the people of God so that they are not hypnotized and co-opted and wrapped in this cloud of filth and horror. Cry out, let us cry out to the Lord for our city, let us cry out to the Lord for our authorities, let us cry out to the Lord so that God brings true word and justice to this land and that the name of Christ can truly spread in this nation and in the entire earth.

Father, we cry out to you in light of this word, Lord, start with me. Have mercy on us. Cover us, keep us, protect us, strengthen our foundations, Lord, strengthen our determination to be clean before you, Father. Have mercy on us and we cover ourselves with the blood of the lamb, Father, we cover ourselves with the only thing the enemy trembles and fears, which is the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus. We cover our church, Lord, with your covering, Father, we cover its leaders, its pastors, Lord, with your blood.

Father, we claim the purposes that you have for us, Lord. Our inheritance, Father, unleash it, we want it in your time and in your way, Father, but we do want what you have declared about your people, Lord, to be a reality. Look at this town, Lord, we need more. Wake us up, Lord. Forgive us for not being more militant, forgive us for not being more committed, Lord.

Forgive us for not being more pleasant in front of you, but we need, Lord, a visitation of your spirit in this time. Your church needs a surgical operation, Lord, of the heart, of the mind, of the spirit, Father. Sow your principles with more strength within us because without you we are lost, Lord.

We recognize that against that enemy none of us has power, Father. Only by your power in us, Lord, only when you clothe us with your power can we remain faithful to you, Lord, not because of our justice, not because of our integrity, Lord, but because of your mercy towards us. We stick to your word. We tie ourselves to the principles of your kingdom, Father. We tie ourselves to the power of Christ and to eternity, Lord.

Our souls we place at your feet, Father. Our bodies, do what you want, Lord. Our property is yours, beloved Lord, but guard our souls, guard your children, guard, Lord, the lives of your congregations, of your people, Father, the chosen ones, Lord. We ask that the Lord roar and scatter his enemies, that the roar of the lion be heard in the jungle, Lord. Let the voice of Christ be heard roaring over the nations, Father, let your rod strike the world and let it smoke knowing, Lord, that you are still on your throne and that you are the same yesterday, today and forever, Lord.

Oh God don't let this word fall to the ground, Father. Don't let the enemy get angry on us who want to be faithful to you, Lord, preaching this message. Have mercy, Lord, seal us with your blood, seal us with your fire, seal us with your word, my God, remove and remove everything that is not yours, Lord, everything that prevents your power from fully manifesting itself in us, Lord. Remove, Father, all impurity, remove all hidden gold ingots, Father, that bring judgment to your people, all Babylonian mantles, Lord, that should not be in our lives, in our homes. Forgive us, Lord, and have mercy on your people, Father. Have mercy on this congregation and cover it with your blood, Lord. Cover his purposes, his vision, his call, Father, and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, Lord. May your purposes be advanced, may what you want to do in this world come true, Father. We say come Jesus. What you have promised, Lord, what you have had destined since the creation of the world, Father, is fulfilled in this time.

We want Christ to establish his reign, for the Kingdom of God to explode over the nations, Father, we want you to visit your creation that is running out of battery, Father. It is losing strength, Lord, and if you do not renew it with your grace and your visitation, there is no hope, Father, for this creation. Forgive your creation, Father, forgive your church and raise up a church that can be a prophetic sign to the world, raise up your Apostles and prophets, teachers, evangelists, pastors, teachers, Lord, who can announce your word with power.

Father, unleash your gifts to endorse the word of your church, beloved Lord. Pour out your power on your church so that when he speaks, he speaks with authority, Lord, he speaks with his letters of representation of the Kingdom of God, Lord, that you give for the power that you manifest and that you unleash on your people. We want to see your signs, we want to see your prodigies manifested, Lord, on earth and through your church. Visit us, Lord, with your grace and your power.

You are the God of mercy, if we appeal to you not for our justice but for your mercy, for your grace, for your forgiveness, for your patience with us, Lord, but your will be done, Father. We cry out to you. We ask souls, Lord, that the devil does not serve with the big spoon in our children, in our young people, Father. We want the life of God to take over in this time.

Visit your people like a hurricane of justice, truth, grace, purity, sanctification, correction, Lord. Flood the earth with rivers of justice, Father. With your correction, Lord. Help us to live as your people, Father. I bless this community represented here, Lord. Our struggles, Parents, you know them, the struggles of marriages, of families, Father, change our destiny, change our environment, change our condition, Lord.

Brothers, if there is someone who wants to give their life to Jesus Christ, come forward, we want to pray for you. If the word of God has touched you in any way, time is open here too, we want to pray for your life, we want to pray for your family, for your home. If God has spoken, come forward here, we are going to bless you, we are going to pray for you too.

The temple is open, the platform is open. The only thing that today can preserve a family, a home is that the blood of Christ is painted on the lintel of its door. The only thing that can protect your children is a house consecrated to the Lord where the values of the Kingdom of God prevail and if your house is not one of those houses, run for your life and come here and seek protection from the Lord.

Only Christ can protect right now. We invite you to give your life to the Lord and humble yourself and seek healing, seek salvation, while there is opportunity. One day there will be blindness and people will want to believe but they will not be able to because it will be too late because the Holy Spirit will have already said enough.

If someone wants to give their life to the Lord, we are open. If you don't want to do it right now, do it at the end of the service, but find someone and tell them, pray for me because I need to receive Christ. Amen.

Church, God speaks to you. God speaks to us this afternoon. So, Father, we give our lives over to you. Work, Lord, work on your people. We declare the lordship of Christ over this city and over this nation, Father. Unleash a wave, a flood of your power, Lord. We claim your power, not because we have a right but because you have given us that right, Father, you have told us to cry out, Lord, and that you will send rivers of living water. You will send a baptism of fire upon your people, Lord, and it is what we need. Thank you for your grace, thank you for your visitation, thank you for your power.
