The Holy Spirit in the life of Jesus

Summary: In this teaching, the speaker discusses the importance of understanding the Holy Spirit as the third Person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is no less personal than Jesus or the Father, and is involved in all aspects of creation and the Church. The Trinity is a mystery that cannot be fully defined or understood by language or human reason. The Holy Spirit has been sent by Christ to sustain the Church until His Second Coming and has many functions, including teaching, encouraging, strengthening, and instructing. The Holy Spirit is the same Spirit of Jesus that dwells within believers and helps them carry out the tasks of the Christian life. To live an effective spiritual life, believers must live in intimacy with the Person of the Holy Spirit.

Living in intimacy with the Holy Spirit is crucial for every believer to live an effective spiritual life. The Pentecostal attitude recognizes the importance of the Holy Spirit, and believers should address and invite the Holy Spirit into their lives. Jesus lived in deep intimacy with the Holy Spirit during His earthly ministry and calls us to do the same. The Holy Spirit was present in the incarnation of the Son of God, the baptism of Jesus, and His ministry in the desert. Believers should cultivate an awareness of the Holy Spirit's role in their spiritual life and always keep it in mind.

The Holy Spirit played a significant role in Jesus' life, leading Him into the desert for His encounter with Satan and anointing Him for His Ministry. The Holy Spirit also specializes in baptizing people with the Holy Spirit, as Jesus did with His followers. Luke's Gospel emphasizes the importance of the Holy Spirit, and we should strive to live in intimacy with Him, opening all the doors of our lives to Him. We should pray for the Holy Spirit to fill our lives, saturate us, and baptize us, so that we may live in freedom and serve God fully.

We are going to start with something that we have already alluded to in this whole series of teachings on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and on the supernatural life, on the filling of the Holy Spirit, we have been talking about, and what happens is that in the course of Talking about something so vast and so complex, you mention different things and package them in different ways, and when you package them in one way they look a certain way, and when you mention them in another way, sometimes you don't see coherence in a series of themes and elements.

So I want to take some of the issues that I've talked about and approach them from a more united perspective, and that's specifically about the Person of the Holy Spirit as seen in Scripture. Now I am going to speak specifically about the third Person of the Trinity, who is the Holy Spirit, because I want you to have clearly pictured in your mind that third Person of the Trinity and His different qualities and functions in the lives of the children of God.

And some of the things that I'm going to say I've probably already said in another way, like I've said, but I want you to have it anyway. And by doing this I am also doing something else as I once said and that is: glorifying the Holy Spirit by mentioning it. We adore the Father, we adore the Son, and what of the Holy Spirit? if it is the third Person we can also exalt and focus it, and clearly draw His function and His work in the life and economy of the Church.

So I want to talk a little bit about who the Holy Spirit is and isolate that issue specifically from Scripture, and I trust that you will leave here this afternoon with a much clearer and more coherent idea of who the Holy Spirit is.

Number one, something that you probably already know generally and that is, the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, say with me: third person, he is no less personal than Jesus, he is no less conscious, He is no less specific in His preferences and in His functioning than the Father or the Son. The Holy Spirit does all the things that a person does: he speaks, instructs, gets annoyed, that's why he says "do not grieve the Holy Spirit", you can insult the Holy Spirit too. The Lord has spoken of the offense against the Holy Spirit and no one knows what that sin attracts, that it is a sin of a very great magnitude.

But, the Holy Spirit listens, reacts, is encouraged when he is mentioned and is asked to move in the lives of the children of God, he is the third Person of the Trinity and we see him everywhere in the Bible from the moment The same, as I said earlier, of creation, the Spirit rested on the waters, the Spirit of God, and the Spirit of God was powerfully involved in the act of creation.

And wherever God has wanted to do something powerful in the world and throughout history, first of His people Israel and after His people, the Church, the Holy Spirit has always been present, He is the third Person of the Trinity and I I don't know why the tendency of the Church throughout history has been to focus on the Father and the Son, and as if we mentioned the Holy Spirit in passing, and not give Him what He deserves, which is a central place in our lives. and in the life of the Church, he is the third Person of the Trinity.

Second, the Trinity is a mystery, impossible to describe or define through language or human reason. These instruments, language, human reason are limited instruments, they are the product of the convenience of the sequential and physical world in which we live. Language has its limitations, ask any poet, ask any linguist, ask anyone who works with the nature of matter at the deep level of subatomic particles, time-space, and the texture of the cosmos, when man became he goes into the depths of creation the deeper he goes the more difficult it becomes to describe what is happening, how much more to describe the mysteries of God. The Trinity no one will be able to define or monopolize it with human language.

Our brothers, I speak of them like this, the Jehovah's Witnesses for example speak that this is crazy, that how is it that God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit? He is a three-headed God they say to ridicule. It's not three gods, get this, it's one God manifesting in three different personalities and don't let anyone intimidate you into believing in the Trinity just because it's hard to define in rational and linguistic terms.

The Trinity, is something so, again, elusive by its nature that the language checks-out, the language says: no, don't get me into that because that's about my pay grade, in a sense. But what has happened to the Church throughout history is that it has been cornered.

When one reads the Bible one sees the Bible speaking of God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit in almost interchangeable ways, and the Church, by dint of studying the Bible in a systemic way, has reached the conclusion, and it seems very reasonable to me, We know that there is only one God, there are not many gods, right? This is one of the most important confessions of Judaism, God is one and yet we see him expressing himself in three different essences and persons, and the Church then has had to conclude that there is only one God, three persons, and when we get to heaven then we will know exactly what that meant, meanwhile we confess it, believe it and practice it. He is the third Person of the Trinity and he is a mystery, a mystery impossible to capture by human language.

Third, the Holy Spirit has been sent by Christ to sustain the Church here on Earth until the Second Coming. The Lord said: I am leaving but another will come after me, and He even said: Look, if you were intelligent you would be glad that I am leaving, because I am going to send someone who will no longer be with you as I am but that will be in you, amen? And when the Lord Jesus Christ ascends to heaven, the Holy Spirit sort of takes the lead and takes the lead, and it is that power, and that character that now helps the Church in all its needs here on Earth.

The Lord is waiting in heaven for the trumpet to be blown and He is instructed to come into the world a second time, and He is also active, but the Holy Spirit is like God's executive agent right now in the life of the Church, God has delegated you to help us, empower us, train us, instruct us, strengthen us, encourage us.

The Lord said: I will send you a dildo, do you remember that word? And as I have told you many times, the translations into the different vernacular languages of the original Greek or Hebrew in which the Scripture was written do not do justice to what that word "comforter" means. The original word is "parakletos", and as you see the original word "for", what it means is that, for is a prefix in the original Greek that means: "next to, complementary to something, helps" if you read it as “standing next to” that will help you understand.

The parakletos in Greco-Roman culture had many different uses and the Bible borrows that word from the Greek. One of the things that a parakletos was, for example, was in rowing races, or in races on a track, it was the person who encouraged runners or rowers to keep going when they were tired and already reaching their physical extremes. , the parakletos encouraged them to keep going, not to give up, like the cheerleaders, for example, that are in soccer and basketball games here in the United States, they are those girls who jump and do all kinds of things to cheer up to athletes, the Lord used that word in the sense of encourager, the Holy Spirit is our encourager.

And that is why I believe that the word dildo is not a word in Spanish that does justice to the complexity of that word in the original Greek because, dildo for me is like taking a handkerchief and a klinex, and you know, it dries you up the tear so you don't cry anymore, the Holy Spirit is much more than that, he is an encourager. I see it as an encourager who tells me: keep going, don't let yourself be defeated by Satan, don't let yourself be overcome by your falls and your defeats, and your struggles, keep going because God is with you. The Holy Spirit is the animator of the Church.

When you are in trouble, difficulties, limitations, when the struggle seems to be too big, the Holy Spirit stands by your side to comfort you, encourage you, strengthen you and tell you: Keep going and don't let yourself be defeated. He has been sent by Christ to support the Church and has many different functions: teaching, encouraging, strengthening, instructing. The Lord Jesus said that: The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth. The Holy Spirit is that inner voice that often speaks to you and tells you: don't go here, don't go there, the Lord says that the Holy Spirit will instruct us and teach us all things about Jesus himself as well, it is a resource infinite in His possibilities to support the Church in its task here on Earth while Christ comes.

Another thing: the Holy Spirit is the same spirit of Jesus, there we have the Trinity again, it is the same Spirit of Jesus sent by Him dwelling in us, training us, instructing us and anointing us to carry out the tasks and labors of the Christian life , is the great trainer and encourager of the believer, but ultimately it is the same Spirit of Jesus working in us and that is why we see it many times, right? the identity, I am looking for a passage here so that you understand what I am trying to say, how many times he speaks of the Holy Spirit as Himself and vice versa, but it is the same Spirit of Jesus.

For example, in John chapter 14 verse 15, an almost random passage like this, says: "If you love me, keep My commandments and I will ask the Father" John 14:15 onwards, "I will ask the Father and he will give you another comforter, to may he be with you forever: the Spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see him or recognize him; but you know him, because he dwells with you, and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans, I will come to you."

And here he now says: I will not leave you orphans but I will come to you. Who will come? the Holy Spirit but it is also the Spirit of Jesus, that is why I tell you that human language cannot understand the mystery of this identity. But in this case, for example, the Lord speaks interchangeably of Himself and of the Holy Spirit, that is the idea, right?

"Still a little while and the world will no longer see me, but you will see me, because I live, you will live." Further down verse 25: “I have told you these things while I was with you, but the comforter” the parakletos in the original Greek, “the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things and remind you of everything what I have told you.” And if you read John 14 and 15, I don't have time to analyze everything, John 14, 15 and 16 in your personal study time, is one of the most fertile documents in terms of knowing and studying the Person of the Holy Spirit.

Spend time in the morning instead of watching news that will depress you and fill you with fear, read the Bible. I am rebuking the devil because what I have all morning is the temptation to see the latest that is happening with Trump and this is a reality show (laughs), Trump is the greatest gift that has been given to the media, to the news, television and all things because everyone wants to know the latest thing that happened, if he is still president, if he was ousted, if he screwed up, what, but look, read the Bible and you say: Lord I The first thing I have to do is give glory to you and go to the Word, when I read the news I will do it with a prepared mind, but read these things because it is one of the most important requirements of the life filled with the Holy Spirit, fill yourself with the Word.

Read about the Ministry of the Holy Spirit and how the Lord describes it, John 14 and 16, sometimes you have a free teaching, I'm not going to charge you for that, okay? so study these things, do you see how the Lord speaks of Himself as if He were the Spirit, the Spirit He? a mogolla of blessing there, it is the Spirit of Jesus sent by Him, dwelling in us, training us, instructing us, anointing us.

Another thing: every believer, man and woman, to live an effective spiritual life, needs to live in intimacy with the Person of the Holy Spirit, underline the word: intimacy. It is not a casual, generic, secondary relationship, I have wanted through these sermons and those that we have preached, and those who will preach about this subject, we have wanted to impress on you this idea of the importance of a life in intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

Many churches and many Christians do not reject the Holy Spirit, they recognize him, but they do not see him in three dimensions as he needs to be seen, focused, studied, glorified, used for our daily life, intimacy. I believe that what the Baptism of the Holy Spirit does is impregnate us with that idea of the Ministry of the Holy Spirit.

The Pentecostal sensibility, the Pentecostal attitude, let's call it that, is based on the recognition of the importance of the Holy Spirit. Many times when we pray, people who know the Holy Spirit can address the Holy Spirit. You not only have to address the Father or the Son, do it to the Holy Spirit as well.

I love it when we begin the service and say: Holy Spirit, come and open Your Presence upon us, we invite you, Spirit of God. When you are in tribulation and trial: Holy Spirit, strengthen me, some confusion in your life: Holy Spirit, instruct me, the Lord has said that You are going to teach me all truth, I need advice. When we sing: Spirit of God fills my soul, fills my being, Pentecostal sensibility speaks to the Holy Spirit. People who move in a supernatural position understand the three-dimensionality, not to say the multidimensionality of the Holy Spirit and live in continuous search for the Power, the anointing, the company, the company, the illumination, the ministry of the Holy Spirit in our life, there is something when you specifically address the Holy Spirit, when you lift up and exalt the move of the Holy Spirit in your life.

And what I urge you brothers is to be fascinated with the Holy Spirit. If you Google right now the word Baptism of the Holy Spirit or Holy Spirit you will receive enough material to spend a lifetime studying the Holy Spirit, take advantage of those resources that are available today. Buy yourself a good book, read the passages, search your concordance: spirit and start tracking down the verses in the Old and New Testaments that speak of a very nice way to study this person.

And as you focus on the Holy Spirit you will be exalting and flattering, and He will begin to speak to you in a different and more powerful way. I ask you: cultivate the image of the Holy Spirit in your life, it is an intimate relationship with the Person of the Holy Spirit. Every person who wants to live in an effective way spiritually speaking needs to live in intimacy and in continuous exaltation, and to refresh the Person of the Holy Spirit.

Another point: the Holy Spirit responds when you call him, he is a person, when you invite him he responds. If you don't invite him, he's a gentleman as the old Pentecostals say, he's going to stay calm, he's not going to force himself on your life.

What does Jesus say about Himself in Revelation I believe 3? "I am at the door and I knock, and if anyone hears My Voice and opens the door I will come in and eat with him, and he with me" yes or no? Revelation 3:20 I think it is? something like that, over there. I am at the door and I call.

I believe that the Lord is continually at the door of all of us because it is the Spirit of Jesus knocking, let me in, I want to help you. Those problems that you have, that depression, I want to be part of that fight, let me in and invite me. It says: If anyone hears My Voice and opens the door and that also refers to receiving Christ as Lord and Savior.

The Lord wants everyone to proceed to salvation, He does not want anyone to be lost, there is no quota, the Lord wants all humanity to be saved and likewise himself, the Lord wants all of us to be filled with the Holy Spirit and that every believer receives, but an active invitation is needed, it is required that we open the door and what I want is to make us aware of the importance of always leaving the doors open so that the Holy Spirit enters when He wants to, let all the grudges of our life: living room, dining room, study, office, open atriums for the Spirit to enter and do whatever he wants, give the Holy Spirit entrance to the hidden places of your mind where there are so many cobwebs that you don't You want people to go in there because you would be afraid of what you would see there, open the door.

Tell him: Lord, there are no barriers for You, all the halls of my life, my subconscious, my conscience, my public life, my private life and my intimate life that no one knows but me, even more so if there is something that I don't know, enter there also because in the subconscious there are things that we do not know are there, there are things that we have repressed, they are so painful and so unpleasant that we ourselves do not want to see them, we have put them in a place where we are not aware of them and they are there throwing stones at us over the fence making our lives miserable, that is what neurosis is, unrecognized pain, but when you open the door to the Holy Spirit, the light of God also enters those places as well and does things.

You will know the truth and the truth will set you free, says the Lord, when the Holy Spirit reveals certain things about your subconscious, the light of God shines and frees you, and heals you. There are people who suffer from anxiety and do not know where it comes from, well: open up to the Holy Spirit and tell him to reveal it to you, or tell him to come in, it could be sexual abuse, an offense from the past that you do not remember, a resentment that you have there or an unrecognized pain, God enters those places.

The Bible says that the Holy Spirit groans unspeakable groans over us, you know? He says that we do not know how to pray many times but the Holy Spirit moans with unspeakable groans. In other words, when you don't know how to pray, suck on the Holy Spirit, then whatever it is, how many know what is suck? (laughs) how many know what sucking is? It's a Dominican word, I haven't forgotten my language after all the years I've been here, throw the Holy Spirit on your problems and if you don't identify it, put a strange name on it, pray in tongues if you don't know what it is the origin of your illness but throw the Holy Spirit on top, because the Holy Spirit is a master psychiatrist, it can save you a lot of time and money if you make the Holy Spirit your psychiatrist; now, sometimes we need the others too, but better that the Spirit speak and moan with unspeakable moans.

So when you invite Him, you recognize Him in your decisions, prayers, when you are aware of His Ministry, when you seek His anointing, His direction, His Power and His training, the Holy Spirit grows within you and does the work. You have to invite him, you have to cultivate him, you have to live in intimacy with him, you have to love him, you have to bother him until he fulfills his purpose in your life.

The Holy Spirit must be an essential consideration and an important element of our Christian life, it is necessary to cultivate that awareness of His role in our spiritual life and always keep it in mind, I have already emphasized that in previous comments.

Another important point: during His earthly Ministry Jesus lived in deep intimacy with the Holy Spirit and called us to do the same, how interesting. The same Son of God in another irresolvable ministry of the incarnation God-man, God-Spirit living together, divinity and humanity mixed in a total and perfect way, in that incarnation of His in the form of a man the Lord needed, which are the mysteries , of the Holy Spirit for His own life as well. He lived in that intimacy that we are talking about that you and I need to live too, He lived in intimacy and also calls us to do the same.

Would you like for a moment to see the relationship of Jesus and the Holy Spirit in such a detailed way? look for example in Luke 1:35. In Luke 1:35 you see that the Lord is born through the Ministry of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit was present in the incarnation of the Son of God, in His mysterious incarnation.

In Luke 1:35 Mary asks: but how is it that I am going to give birth to the life of God and be a mother if I am a virgin, I do not know a man, how is it that I am going to give birth to life? of God in me? look at what the angel answered him, verse 35 in Luke: "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you, therefore the holy being to be born will also be the Son of God."

Don't ask me how that chemical-biological-divine-spiritual reaction of a female that perfectly contained the life of God and human life occurred because no expert can ever tell you that, but what it says is that the Holy Spirit rested on this Jewish virgin, and God gave me that image of the Holy Ghost resting on you when you came up here. God's creativity covered that woman's body, her womb, and imparted something to her, the divine nature.

How is a human being created? the nature of a man and a woman are intertwined by means of a sublime physical act and the sperm of the man and the egg of the woman unite in something mysterious that no one can ultimately describe what it is like, ultimately. It can be described in a general biological way, this happens, this happens, but the mystery is not, how these little things travel from a man through the womb of a woman and find that target, and unite, and there is an explosion of life, and those inert chemical, biological things generate this that is a mysterious, creative, spontaneous man and woman, wow, how, how does one ever explain that? for God did the same.

God took her nature, her life, her power, her skills, her limitless capacities and placed her electricity and energy on the woman, and something that only he can do was given that was the production of a being both God and man. The genetics of human Mary and the genetics of divine God were given and this holy being came out, this mystery called the Son of God, that is to say that for the birth of Jesus the Holy Spirit was present.

The Holy Spirit was present at the Baptism of Jesus, Luke 3:22, when the Lord is baptized. It says in 21: "It happened that when all the people were baptized Jesus was also baptized, and praying, heaven was opened, and he descended" who? the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in a visible form, in a bodily form, He assumed the form of a dove, in a bodily form like a dove, and there came a Voice from heaven that said: You are My Son and in You I am well pleased. It was a Baptism of the Holy Spirit, you know? the Lord was baptized in water and was baptized in the Holy Spirit as well, and after that the Ministry of Jesus is activated and he enters another dimension, and is taken by the Holy Spirit into the desert.

Interesting, here we have the Trinity also portrayed in this passage, there are three persons ministering simultaneously. The Son is being baptized, the Holy Spirit, the third Person descends in bodily form and there is a Voice that is the Voice of the Father that says: You are My beloved Son, in You I am pleased, God the Son, God the Spirit and God the Father three talking at the same time, if you don't blow your brains out, you're not listening well to what I'm saying.

That is why the Church throughout the centuries had to conclude: what is this that we are saying? the Father speaking, the Son being baptized and the Holy Spirit descending bodily in the form of a dove, we have to call it something, we are going to put it Trinity. The Baptism of Jesus in the waters was with the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit took Jesus to the desert for His encounter with evil, in the beginning there had to be a war between two gunmen to see which of the two had to leave the town and the devil had to abandon him, in the desert Satan tempted to Jesus, a mano a mano there between the Son of God and the devil in Luke 4:1. When Jesus receives that impartation of blessing, of Power in His Baptism, Luke chapter 4 verse 1 says: "Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the desert."

The Spirit knew that Jesus needed to have a confrontation first, a judicial confrontation as it were with the devil. In that fight that the Lord had with the Lord in the desert during those 40 days of fasting, not everything is told to us, what is there is a small summary of what the Lord, I imagine that the enormous struggles that took place in that confrontation between Jesus and Satan, we are only told a few things, but it was necessary that there the Lord defeated Satan in a confrontation, his humanity, hunger, desire for glory, appetite for self-affirmation, a number of things that man ultimately needs and that destroy ministries were offered to the Lord and He rejected them all, and He defeated Satan there morally and spiritually, and then there was another defeat, where? on the cross of Calvary.

But the Holy Spirit leads Jesus to an experience that is necessary before He begins His Ministry because He is the manager of our life, if He wants to use you He is the one who will arrange the events of your life. I know in my life and in the life of our family how the Lord has micro-controlled the events and circumstances of our lives and in advance the Lord has been preparing the bases and the tools, and the experiences for the ministry. There are things that happen in your life but they are God's preparations in your life for your ministry, falls, sufferings, even defeats that are necessary to prepare you for the ministry that God has for you. If your life is directed by the Holy Spirit, God is going to take you sometimes where you don't want to go and He is not going to take you where you want to go, He is the coordinator of your life.

One of the things that people filled with the Holy Spirit learn is: Lord, take control, take me where I don't want to go and don't take me where I want to go, but be You who directs my life and who coordinates the aspects of my life. . The Lord was led to a terrible confrontation with Satan and glory to God who overcame, and from there His public Ministry begins.

The Lord was anointed for His Ministry by the Holy Spirit, look up Luke 4:17 to 19, when the Lord appears for the first time in, and this is the first appearance of Christ in a public capacity, in His public Ministry, and look at what He chooses.

When He came to this synagogue as a visiting rabbi the Book of the Law was offered to him to read something as a courtesy extended to a teacher of the law, and when the Lord opens the book in His first public utterance behold what He reads, He chooses the Book of Isaiah and look at what He reads, He says: "He entered the synagogue according to his custom, and stood up to read, and opened the book of the prophet Isaiah, and having opened the book, he found the place" that is, he looked for it and found it where it was written, "the Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor, he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and sight to the blind, to set the oppressed free, and to preach the acceptable year of the Lord; and rolling up the book, he gave it to the minister, and he sat down, and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him, and he then began to preach then from the reading" and says: "today this scripture has been fulfilled before you in me, Jesus." And what was accomplished? "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach good news."

Do you know what the word Christhos means in the Greek? The anointed of God, the Holy Spirit anointed the incarnate son for His Ministry of liberation, healing, consolation, eye-opening, declaration of a new era in the life of humanity where God was no longer there to condemn but to save, to give good news, the year of jubilee, of goodwill, the year of the Lord's favor.

So we see Jesus anointed for His Ministry, taken into the desert, baptized by the Holy Spirit, born by the Holy Spirit, and another thing, I'm going to leave it here and perhaps we have to continue with this teaching, the Lord Jesus Christ has specialized in one thing and it is baptizing His followers with the Holy Spirit, part of the intimacy and deep relationship between the Holy Spirit and the person of Jesus, Jesus is a specialist in baptizing people with the Holy Spirit.

Look in Luke chapter 3:16, by the way, the Book according to Saint Luke is a Gospel that specializes a lot in the mention of the Holy Spirit, the other three Gospels are not so insistent, I could tell you why but it is not important, but there are many references to the ministry of the Holy Spirit and the Gospel according to Saint Luke, it is no coincidence that Luke writes the Book of Acts as well, the Acts, the Acts of the Holy Spirit, Luke had something, a ministry especially related to the Holy Spirit.

But in Luke 3:16 it says, let's go to 15 to have context, it says: "As the people were expectant, all wondering in their hearts if perhaps John was the Christ" long to explain there, people thought that perhaps John was because Jesus had not yet started His public Ministry, so they thought perhaps seeing John the Baptist with so much power, but he was a forerunner of Jesus, and they saw John and said: wow, perhaps this is the anointed one, the Messiah we are waiting for, and everyone wondered if John was the Christ, "but John answered him and clarified saying to everyone: I truly baptize you in water" remember that difference between the baptism of John in water and the baptism of Jesus in the Holy Spirit, "I baptize you in water but one is coming, more powerful than I, whose shoe strap I am not worthy of even untying, He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire" and there is another expression there that we are not even going to distract, verse 17, ministry of fire or and I don't know what to call it, judgment, Jesus is not a meek kitten there just to do what we tell him to do, He is fire and fire burns, fire gives heat and illuminates but also burns, the Ministry of the Holy Spirit and Jesus is a dangerous Ministry too.

The thing is that it says: "He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire", wherever you see mention of the Holy Spirit and baptism you will often see the mention of Jesus affiliated with that, because the Lord Jesus was the one who unleashed the Ministry of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit that is associated with dynamism, with explosiveness, with acts of power. The Lord said: Those who believe in Me, rivers of living water will flow from their interior. He told His Disciples: Received the Holy Spirit, He sends the Holy Spirit, the comforter.

When the moment of Pentecost occurred, it was Jesus sending the Holy Spirit on those Disciples and on His church by extension, so there is a specialty that Jesus has and that is to baptize people with the Holy Spirit, and His followers, and propitiate, and mediate the Ministry of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the children of God.

So you see that intimacy, right? the importance of the Holy Spirit in all these dimensions of the life of the Church, and I will leave you there, and then we will continue, I do not want to emphasize too much. Jesus born of the Holy Ghost, baptized by the Holy Ghost, led into the wilderness by the Holy Ghost, anointed for His Ministry by the Holy Ghost, and Jesus the one who baptizes His followers in the Holy Ghost, and then we go to see the Holy Ghost working in the life of the Church specifically, and of the first Disciples, and how He also works in our lives as we have already said many times.

Right now receive that image of the Holy Spirit in your life, the importance, promise yourself that you will live in intimacy with the Holy Spirit wherever you go, it is not only with the Person of God and the Son, how good, but what characterizes a Pentecostal life is the filling of the Spirit. We want to be empty and clean vessels so that God's oil can move with power in our lives.

Welcome the Holy Spirit back into your life, tell him: Holy Spirit, welcome into my life, right now I open the doors of my being for you. Visualize a door, it is your privacy and your hand rests on the handle of that door, and you turn that lock, and you open the door completely, you take it to the other side of the wall and you tell the Holy Spirit that It's on the other side: it enters my privacy, it enters my house, it enters all its rooms, all its places, some that I don't even know, it enters the basement, it enters the attic up there that sometimes I don't even go to, Come into my bedroom, come into my living room, come into my kitchen, come into my dining room, come into all places Lord, fill the perimeter with Your Presence and Your anointing, and fill me inside and out.

Fill my family, my marriage, my ministry, fill everything, my children, my body, my mind, fill them, I open all the doors for you, right now I am opening all the doors to the Holy Spirit and I am giving thanks because He said that if I open the door for him He will enter and have intimacy, you do not have dinner with whom you do not have some kind of encounter, have dinner with me tell the Holy Spirit, eat with me, what is more: have breakfast, lunch and dinner, with me, I want to live in intimacy With You, invade me, saturate me, saturate my life, cast out everything, rip out the cobwebs, rip out all the bad thoughts, rip out everything that contradicts Your holiness and Your Truth in my life.

Right now invade my being and obsess me with You Lord, Spirit of God, saturate me, baptize me, anoint me, fill this Father Congregation with the life and Ministry of the Holy Spirit, fill it, oh Lord, may it be a Congregation known for its absolute immersion in Pentecost and in the life filled with the Holy Spirit, begin with me Lord, do Your Work in us. This Church desperately needs Your wind, to blow away all bad smells, blow away everything that is not convenient, blow away all contrary essence, Lord, begin with us Father, all mediocrity, all ties, all comfort Lord, all pact with the world, make us prisoners of Your eternity, of Your values, of Your Kingdom Lord, we want to be your servants truly delivered to You Lord, visit us, fill us, fill us.

Oh Father: through this Word that has been imparted do something new in us, say: I receive you Holy Spirit, I receive you Holy Spirit, baptize me, anoint me, I welcome you, I want to live in intimacy with You, I want the life of God be born in You, that You give me the ability to understand Your mysteries, Your depths, power over all ties in my life, all fear, everything contrary to the freedom to which You have called me to live, all that and more we want you to do in us.

Thank you for this day Father, we adore you and we bless you, thank you Lord. Give a big round of applause of gratitude and blessing to the Lord, amen? Glory to God.
