Summary: In this meditation, the speaker discusses the importance of seeking the anointing of the Holy Spirit in our lives and as a congregation. He uses the example of the rebuilding of the temple in the Book of Zechariah, where God tells the people that it will not be done with an army or force, but with His Spirit. The speaker emphasizes the need for daily renewal and cultivation of the anointing, and warns against falling into a routine and neglecting the active presence of God in our lives. He also highlights the power of prophetic declaration and confession of God's truth, and the potential for great things to happen when a group of believers is filled with the Holy Spirit. The currency of the Christian economy is power, and the speaker encourages listeners to actively seek and fan the power of the Holy Spirit within us.

In this sermon, the pastor talks about the importance of cultivating the Power of the Holy Spirit in our lives as Christians. He shares a personal story of how a prophetess spoke a prophetic word over him, calling him to the ministry, and how he had to take action and move in faith to activate the anointing and power of God in his life. The pastor emphasizes that power is the currency of the Christian life and encourages believers to claim and activate the spiritual blessings that God has already given us. He also reminds us that it's okay to feel weak and inadequate, but that the Spirit of God within us empowers us to do great things.

The anointing of the Holy Spirit is essential for effective ministry and should be sought after daily. Jesus himself depended on the Holy Spirit during his ministry, and the disciples were instructed to wait for the Holy Spirit before going out to evangelize. The apostles also made sure that every believer they encountered received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. However, over time, the urgency for every Christian to be filled with the Holy Spirit has been lost in the Church. Therefore, it is important to renew our commitment to seeking the anointing of the Holy Spirit in our lives every day.

The speaker encourages the congregation to continuously seek the filling of the Holy Spirit and not just have a one-time experience. They invite people to come forward and pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit and to prophesy and declare the virtues of God. The speaker emphasizes the importance of being filled with the Holy Spirit and encourages people to seek it every day. The congregation is urged to cry out to the Lord and adore Him freely, and to not worry about who is around them. The speaker declares that the Holy Spirit is present and moving among them.

I want to invite you to go to, there are so many texts that we could use, but one of them is found in the Book of Zechariah chapter 4 verse 6 and it is such a well-known passage, one verse only that I want to use as a starting point for my meditation, Zechariah 4:6 where it says: "Then he answered and spoke to me saying" that is, the Spirit of God speaking, saying: "this is the word of Jehovah to Zerubbabel" Zerubbabel was one of the leaders of the nation of Israel, "who says: no with army, nor with force, but with my Spirit, says the Lord of Hosts."

“And who are you, oh great mountain? before Zerubbabel you will be reduced to plain, he will remove the first stone with acclamations of: grace, grace to her.” Not with an army or with force, say with me: not with an army or with force but with My Spirit, the Lord has said, and that is what it is about, this is the third meditation that I want to bring to you on the filling of the Holy Spirit, seeking the Power and the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and as I have told you for myself and for you, I want to go back to review those fundamental truths of the Christian life that we are a people that depends not on our own strength, not on our cunning, not of our economic capacity nor of the number of people we have but of the Power of the Holy Spirit, the Power and the anointing of God.

The day we lose the anointing of God, we better close the door and go home, it will never be like that, but unfortunately there are churches that, I believe the Spirit of the Lord has left a long time ago, and I am not saying this in sense of criticism, and they simply carry on with all the apparatus of worship but have already forgotten to seek the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

That happened to the Jews, by the way, it happened to the Israelites. Do you know that when Israel came to offend the Holy Spirit so much with their idolatry, with their sin, their disobedience, their arrogance? at one point there is a passage in one of the major prophets that says that the Holy Spirit left, took his things and left the sanctuary of the temple, and yet the Jews continued to worship and do all their things but already what they had it was a simulation of a truly spiritual life, what they had was the external apparatus, the ritual, the customs, the building, the clothing, but the essence of God was no longer there, and that is how it often happens with congregations, that is how it can happen in our lives too.

When one neglects the Presence, the anointing of God in one's life and then one simply depends on the ritual of coming to Church, sometimes even raising one's hands can be a ritual like any other, you know? sing hymns and choruses, but our lives are no longer enlivened by that sense of God's active Presence within us.

I tell them: every time I come to Church I have to renew again, despite the redundancy, renew the sense of the Presence of God, every time I sing those choirs I have to say again: what is it that I I'm singing, what am I saying? We say: there is no God as great as You, that choir, right? we sing it, but for many of us we are already singing: there is no God as great as You and we are looking at our cell phones, and we are thinking about what we are going to do when we leave the Church, and this and that, no. When I say: there is no God as great as You, I have to ask him: Lord, renew that message within me, what does it mean? and I have to sing as if it were the first time again.

The congregations, brothers, depend on each person who is in the service being in an exercise of tension and paying attention to what they are singing, to what they are confessing because that is the way in which you are going to receive the nutrients of what that you are confessing If you simply do it out of routine, by repetition because you already know it, you become automatic, you are not going to feel the same blessing from God, you are not going to receive the same thing and that is how it has to be in the churches, the Presence of the Holy Spirit, the Cultivation of the Holy Spirit has to be something continuous in our lives, we cannot depend on yesterday's blessing, we have to renew the anointing like manna, manna in the desert, how did God give it? every day.

Why did God do that, because he didn't have preservatives at the time and didn't know how to can and preserve them? If He preserved the shoes of the Hebrews, says they were never destroyed and the clothes they had were miraculously preserved while they were in the desert, couldn't He also preserve the manna for a few days? but I believe that He wanted to engender in the Hebrews a daily and continuous dependence on God's provision in their lives.

Every day that they went out there to search in the field was an exercise in faith, of having to receive from God again and that is what God wants for our lives as well. If you depend on the blessing of yesterday and the day before yesterday, or on your grandparents, don't get dressed because you don't go, you need a fresh anointing.

We sing a chorus that says: yesterday is over, I need you today, the Holy Spirit blows on me, right? Yesterday has passed, the time that you had in prayer yesterday there in the corner of your house, very nice, very good, but today you need a fresh anointing and every day we have to return to seek God's anointing, and that is what we are talking about, and that is what I want to mark us in this time, I am going to continue until the Lord tells me: Okay, that's enough, I want to go deeper and we have done it in the past, but we have to go back precisely because it is very easy for us to fall into a routine and forget that we are a people that depends on the Holy Spirit.

And that was what God told the prophets here in the Book of Zechariah, it was regarding the construction of the new temple, not the first one because it had already been demolished and the temple had to be rebuilt, and also Zechariah is a prophetic Book. who talks about the construction of the temple in recent times, how many know that there is still one more temple to build in Jerusalem? the temple that Jesus is going to come and occupy in His Second Coming, the Solomonic temple was destroyed, the second temple was destroyed by the Roman empire, but there is a temple that Zechariah speaks of that will be built at the end of time.

Zechariah is a Book that moves between the current time in which it is being prophesied and the time of the last times as well. And it seems that even at the time of the reconstruction of the temple that had been destroyed, the Hebrews thought that it was a great task, it was too great for the forces that they had, they did not have enough resources, they did not have a sufficient number of people and they had postponed the reconstruction of the sanctuary, and the Lord told them: Look, that is why the economy of your country is being affected, because you are building your houses but you are neglecting mine: build My House for Me and do not complain that it is possible and that the task is too great because it is not with a sword, it is not with an army or with force but it is with My Spirit that you are going to do it, and you are going to do it with acclamations of: grace, grace to her.

That's very interesting, that part, isn't it? Verse 7 says: "Who are you, O great mountain, before Zerubbabel you will be reduced to a plain, and he will remove the first stone" the cornerstone of the temple, "with acclamations of: grace, grace to her." Brother, do you know how the great constructions of the people of God are made? with Word of grace, prophetic Word, Word that declares the Power of God. How do we build? declaring what God has already said in His Word.

Do you know that we are a prophetic people and that we have to declare what God has declared about us? It is one of the great secrets of the Pentecostal life, it is learning to use our mouth to declare the truths of God, to confess what we do not see with our eyes but to declare.

When Paul says, for example: I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me, he is declaring a truth that he knows but he is also saying: this will be the governing rule for the rest of my life that I can do all things in Christ Jesus, and we have to be a people who with our mouths confess the Truth of God. With our mouth we say: I can, this city can change, Boston can become a city that serves Jesus Christ.

With our prayers, with our adoration, our verbal confession, our prophetic Word we can change the temperature of a city and a nation. It would seem impossible, but what is impossible for men is easy for God, brothers.

I wonder if the Lord continued working in this Church and filling us more and more each day with the Power of the Holy Spirit, even the children, and if even those who arrived today for the first time and who do not know the Lord well would be filled with the Power of the Holy Spirit and we entered here with a great army well uniformed, well balanced, well uniform in our faith, this city would fall at the feet of Christ in an instant, brothers. The potential power that is here is incredible, not because of us, but because what the Power of God is looking for is someone, a group, a body to land on and through which to manifest and do great things.

It would seem impossible, just as the construction of the temple seemed impossible, for a city like Boston to change, but for God there is nothing difficult and even less impossible, it all depends on how much we believe we can do it. I know that at this stage of my life I do not put anything above the Lord, God can do anything.

There is a passage here in this Book of Zechariah that is for me one of my favorite prophetic Books that says that the thing will be done in one day, the miracle will happen in one day and the thing will be quick, I would like to look it up but I don't have the time right now, in the Book of Zechariah, and there are many times that we believe that things have to take years and years and years, but sometimes it can be in an instant that God does a work and I believe that God's time for the United States and for the nations of the world we have not yet seen all that God can and will do, but it takes a people of faith filled with the Holy Spirit, a people who declare the Word of God with their mouths and a people who know how to use the tools and weapons of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible says that our weapons are not carnal but powerful in God for the destruction of fortresses and we have to understand this to be able to do the Work of the Lord, it is not with a sword or with an army but with my Spirit.

Do you know brothers? The Christian economy is an economy based on power, the currency with which we process and exchange and do things in the economy of the Kingdom is the currency of power, it does not include other elements as I have already said.

Last Sunday we talked about Paul telling Timothy: God has not given us a spirit of cowardice but of power, love and self-control, and we talked about how in those three elements, power, love and self-control there is a balance of elements that make the Power of God very beautiful and harmonious, and therefore I understand that there are many things that are required for there to be harmony and effectiveness in the people of God, but we cannot forget that one of the fundamental elements of life Christianity is to have the Power of the Holy Spirit, that we must cultivate the Power of the Holy Spirit every day in our lives and as a Congregation, and that the Power of the Holy Spirit is not given by inertia and automatically, it requires that we fan that power that it is already within us.

And I have told you many times, brothers, that for me the challenge for the Church and for many Christians is not necessarily so much that they receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit or that they have the Holy Spirit because God has already visited many of you with His Power. , it has touched you, you have already received without realizing it, perhaps at a time when God touched you and you thought it was simply something emotional or something isolated, but the Lord has already visited you, he has already touched you, and what you need now is to put put into practice that gift of the Holy Spirit that you have already received and that you have rather neglected because it has not yet dawned on you in your understanding that the Holy Spirit must be sought every day like manna, it must be cultivated every day, it must be filled with the Spirit as Paul says to the Ephesians in Ephesians 5:18 and that this requires work, requires effort on our part.

I have told you about my experiences in the past in this Holy Spirit thing. About four or five days ago I called a sister, Sister Rosa, I don't remember her last name right now, Rosa just turned 90, an elderly Puerto Rican woman, a prophetess, a woman with a wonderful prophetic anointing. She lived in New York for many years when my family and I lived in Brooklyn, and Sister Rosa, a Spirit-filled woman, one of those Pentecostals with a bow on the back of her head, an anointed woman filled with the Power of the Holy Spirit.

When I came to study here at Harvard in 1981 or 1982, I was doing my doctorate, and Sister Rosa sent me a cassette. How many remember the cassettes? let's see, confess, confess (laughs), in fact I still have it there in a little envelope where she sent it to me by mail and in that recording she sent me a prophetic Word.

I hadn't entered the ministry yet and I don't think that actually yet, I think I was already on stage, I don't think, no, no, he sent that to me when I was already in my 2nd year at the university, I'm almost sure and God was doing something in my life, he was moving mightily, he was changing a lot of things for me and I was in a time of revival after many years of living there as a mediocre Christian from a distance, and I was giving him my life to the Lord and I believe that it was part of what the Lord was doing in my life.

And that recording of Sister Rosa arrived with a prophecy that had been given on a day of prayer, a meeting that had the type of Acts chapter 13, a group of prophets and elders met, and they began to pray, and from there they recorded the prophecy that she sent me, I had not seen Sister Rosa for years, where she spoke to me, she called me to move in the Spirit, to serve the Lord, that God had a call for my life, that there was a God's special anointing on my life, that I had to take that anointing and move in it, and a number of things that he prophesied that I remember and that marked my life, because sometimes prophecy and the Word of God when they are unleashed, when they are thrown at you they open things in your life if you receive them in faith, because that is the power of the prophetic Word, what you see here are declarations of: grace, grace, is that it lifts things up and builds in God's kingdom.

And in that prophecy, well, she spoke about how God had called me, that there was an anointing in my life and I called her on the phone, and I was talking to her, I think we went to visit her even some time later in New York, I had not yet entered the ministry, there are things that I am compressing here. And then she told me: Roberto, you know that God has called you to the ministry, and my desire was to enter the academic world and work more as a university professor, and write, that was my orientation, as I told you before it was not to be a Pastor, and when she said to me like this: Roberto, God has called you to serve him and she was also saying as if implying a pastorate, I told her: well sister Rosa, you know that my life is given to the Lord, if He Call, I'm going to go, she told me that with that Pentecostal authority.

And he told me: He has already called you, now what you have to do is get moving, He doesn't need to tell you anything else, that's what he wanted to tell me, you already know that He has called you now, just move in what God has told you, and so it was. For different reasons we began to work in the ministry, to serve the Lord, I began to ask the Lord to work in my life, when I saw a newspaper ad for that work that was opening, I went there because you have to be diligent, God gave us gives the anointing but we have to do our part.

And when I began to move in the ministry and to make decisions, and to serve him in prayer, with the youth in Sunday school, helping the Pastor by being his right hand in many things, the Spirit of the Lord began to manifest within me and vibrate within. from me, and look at me 30-odd years later, you poor people here suffering my ministerial experiments but serving the Lord (applause). I could still be waiting for God to send an angel to do this around my neck and put me on, but no. God calls you and you receive by faith, and when you move God uses you in the process, that is the power of the Word, that is the Power of God working in faith that makes the difference.

That is why power is the currency, currency that allows us to do things and the faith with which we receive. All the actions of the Christian life depend in some measure or another on the power and cultivation of the power of God.

For example, in the Old Testament we know that the kings, the priests and the Prophets, three very important figures in the life of Israel, had to be anointed to enter their office. Kings were anointed, for example, as Samuel anointed Saul, as he anointed David, because he knew that kings needed supernatural power. Solomon when God appeared to him in a vision and said: Lord, I am young and I have a very large and strong people to lead, endow me with Your anointing and the Lord anointed them with wisdom, anointed them with prosperity and peace, all the kings they were anointed in their position.

The Prophets were also anointed with oil as a sign of the descent of the Spirit of God upon them, and the priests also in their priestly function were anointed as priests. Why did they need to be anointed? because each one of them had a great and important task to carry out, and that anointing through the imposition of hands and oil on their heads, a horn of oil poured out on them implied the descent of the Power of God over their lives to that they could carry out the tasks of their ministry.

How many know that we are kings and priests before God? How many know that we have been called to prophesy like the Prophets also in the Christian life? How many know that God has poured out His gifts on His people and that we need to ask the Lord: Lord fill us with that Power, manifest Your Power? we have to expedite and fan the Power of God in all its manifestations: tongues, prophecies, healing, signs and wonders, wisdom, science, interpretation of tongues, all these are gifts that God has declared over His people and we now have to take them, appropriate them, make them ours and move in them as if we already had them.

Do you know what is there right now? if we had eyes to see we would see waves of all kinds traversing this place like a network, electronic waves of the internet, waves of subsonic sound that we can't hear but it's there, all kinds of rays, ultraviolet and other things that are in the air, we, our senses cannot process them but they are there and there are mechanisms, machines such as a computer, an internet device or whatever can capture these waves and activate them, and put them into manifestation so that they are useful, do you understand me? what I'm saying? They are there in potential but you need an instrument that can process them and convert them into sound like this microphone or images or whatever.

In a sense, the world, the universe is full of blessings that God has declared upon His people. See where I'm going? say: wow, how profound the Pastor. The air is full of blessings brothers, the Bible says that God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places, yes or no? It does not say that he is going to bless us, he has blessed us, in the past tense, that means that God has already delegated all the blessings that God needs to be a powerful and effective people.

Now you know what's missing? the antennas that can take that blessing and actualize it, and make it real for your life, for my life, and that requires that you believe, that you stay in communion with the Lord, that you know what are the rights that you have and that then you say: I receive it in the Name of Jesus.

Did you know that the word receive is an active word? is not a word like passive. Christians have to be taught to receive, but receiving as if we were doing this (a face of receiving with pleasure and gratitude), is like receiving Christ as Lord and savior, and it means that you open your will and invite him to enter inside from you, you enter into interaction with Him, and so it happens with the gifts of the Holy Spirit too, we receive the Holy Spirit by faith, we believe that we have it and then we put it into action, and then we become antennas that take the potentiality of God and we turn it into something active and current for our lives, amen?

And I ask the Lord: Father, make me an antenna, that when I have prayer I can believe that I can receive from You, that my battery is filling up with the connection with Your Holy Spirit. And then when you get up from that prayer seat and you have asked the Lord for something, don't keep asking him for more because you have doubts about whether God heard you or not, it all depends on you saying: you know what? I presented my request to the Lord, I have it and now I move as it is within me, and then as you begin to move in that anointing that you have claimed as yours, God begins to activate it and make it real in your life.

Start roaring like a lion even though you have the body of a mouse, but roar as much as you can and soon you will find yourself roaring like a lion, don't wait until you are a lion to roar, use your roar to become a lion, do you understand what I mean? I am saying? everything depends on what you confess with your mouth, what you undertake with your spirit. Gifts are exercised through use my brothers, through confessions and activation of faith. Lord You have blessed me with every spiritual blessing and now I make it my own in Jesus' Name, You have declared it in Your Word and I will live within it.

Many of the things that I do and that my brothers in leadership do are not because they feel great but because they know that the God that is within them is great, and many of the things that one does are sometimes done in weakness, In fear and trembling as the Apostle Paul says, in great weakness Paul says I went to you. Sometimes, you know, I have my doubts about those super apostles that you see around there who always present themselves as great giants who know everything, can do everything, never have a bad thought, are never afraid, they are always one hundred percent with a full cell phone battery and I say, where is the confession that many times we are weak but we are powerful in Christ Jesus?

We have sinned but the Grace of the Lord covers us and lifts us up, and strengthens us, we feel sad and discouraged at times but we come before the Lord and take new strength, and we continue forward in the ministry. I believe that the Christian life is many times to recognize that we are poor in spirit but that the Spirit of God that is within us enables us to do great things and great feats in the Name of the Lord, because it is the Power of God within us. .

We are kings, priests, prophets and we have to flow with the anointing of the Holy Spirit that we have received from God, and many times that anointing will not become manifest in us until we begin to use it and declare it.

So we are kings, prophets, priests dependent on the Holy Spirit, and what of Jesus Christ? Jesus Christ in His incarnated form as a man also relied on baptism and the filling of the Holy Spirit. You remember that in His first public appearance in a synagogue the Lord says that He opened the Book of Isaiah and said the following words, Isaiah 61:1 and 2: "The Spirit of the Lord is in me, because the Lord has anointed me, and He has sent me to preach good news to the downcast, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim the year of Jehovah's good will, and the day of vengeance of our God; to console all the mourners;" the Lord has anointed me, he has prepared me and he has sent me.

He was making His own that Word of an anointing that came from above to enable Him in His Ministry, it is no coincidence that He used that scripture at the beginning of His Ministry, the Lord Jesus Christ in His human form depended on the anointing of the Holy Spirit . And in the first moment of His public walk when He goes to John the Baptist to be baptized in water out of obedience, the Bible says that the Holy Spirit appeared in the form of a dove and it was like an impartation of Power from God that fell on Him, and God validated it there, and said: This is my beloved Son, in Him I am pleased, listen to Him. It was an impartation of Power and authority over Jesus Christ.

And then filled with the Spirit, he says, as a consequence of that impartation of the Holy Spirit there at that moment, he says that He was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tested for another important moment in the development of His Ministry.

So we see that He needed that anointing, that filling of the Holy Spirit, even Him, and if you analyze the different moments in the life of Jesus, the Holy Spirit is there at all times, His birth was by an impartation of the Holy Spirit on His mother, and at various times the Lord was filled with the Spirit to declare certain things, and He speaks in the Gospel according to Saint John about the Holy Spirit that He is going to send, there is a very great intimacy between Jesus and the Holy Spirit, why why not also within us, how are we not going to need that filling of the Spirit? How are you going to be an effective and productive person in the things of the Lord if it is not depending on the Power, the filling of the Holy Spirit? You have to go again and again, and again to the waters.

You my brothers who work in adoration, I know that I am not telling you anything new, you are great consumers of spiritual energy and need that filling of the Holy Spirit, our leaders, Pastors, ushers and elders of the Congregation, and those who work in different ministries of the Congregation, those who teach, those who work with children need, we need, do not dare to go and teach children without having spent some time in search of the anointing and the Power of God.

And the teachers of the schools out there even if you say: ah, I am not a Pastor, a priest, to minister and teach those children out there in the classrooms in that demonized world that is out there you need the Power of the Holy Spirit . If you are a housewife, a wife, a taxi driver, a worker in a factory you need the Power of the Holy Spirit, do not dare to leave your house without having entrusted your life and seek some of the anointing of the Lord in your life, is that we need it.

We even have to renew our own consciousness of the supernatural because if not consciousness gets into the human. If I neglect myself in a short time my ministry becomes a purely mechanical necessity: administer, govern, preach, do this, do that and I become like Martha, busy but I do not have the Presence of the Holy Spirit within me, I need to be like Mary, seek that anointing of Christ because that is the best part of all and we need, like the Lord himself, the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

The disciples, the first Apostles, the Lord said to them: Do not move from Jerusalem until you are endowed with power from on high, why did you need power from on high? because they had an impossible task to carry out, like the construction of the temple in the time of Zacharias, these first disciples.

Imagine a country isolated from the world and small, insignificant, Israel was a mere minuscule province in the time of Jesus when He tells them: Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations including Rome, including the Aztecs who were there in North America without knowing what was happening in the Middle East and the Indians of the Caribbean who were with their primitive culture, all those things, and there in the Middle East in an isolated country of Palestine there is a rabbi saying to His disciples, that is a small group of ignorant, illiterate disciples, not educated, who go and make disciples of all nations, without internet, without cars or planes, without telephones or cell phones, without LED screens, today if that screen goes away we panic because we don't we know how to sing, the microphone goes away and the Pastor is trembling with panic because he doesn't know what's going to happen, those people didn't have any of that, it was there with all their lungs and legs with sandals walking through stony terrain bears going through the mountains of Turkey and Rome, and Spain carrying the Gospel, and the Lord says to them: Go and preach the Gospel, and make disciples of the nations, how could they do it if it was not with the Holy Spirit? Holy?

That is why the Lord told them: Do not leave, do not leave Jerusalem before you are endowed with power from on high because the task you have is very great. Even the great commission told them: all authority is given to me in heaven and on earth, therefore go and preach the Gospel, meaning: I have the power, I delegate it to you and so now you can go and proclaim the good news news to the nations, we need the Power and anointing of God.

That is why I believe that so many churches today, brothers and sisters, that we have so many electronic resources, very good and informative preaching, radio programs and a number of things and the world continues the same, what's more, it gets worse every day, I believe that in the Church this anointing of God is lacking. When the anointing of God fills the Church, so much technology will not be needed and that is why we have to ask the Lord every day: Father, make us hungry and thirsty for the anointing of the Holy Spirit. I hope that you are listening to me and not only listening to me but making a purpose in your life, when you leave here you are going to start putting this Word into practice if you are not already putting it into practice, you are going to start living red I live by faith.

Brothers, I want you to tell me: Pastor, as a consequence of these messages I find myself praying more, I find myself fasting more, I am asking the Lord to sanctify my life more, I am cleaning up my life, I am spending more time in prayer and study of the Word of the Lord, Pastor I am going to come to Church more on Wednesdays, say amen even if it is to make me feel good.

Listen to me, one sees this Congregation and brother, one sees the number of people who come on Wednesday and excuse me, but I often feel bad because, once again, we give to the Lord with a very conservative measure. Ah no, I already punched out the card on Sunday and the Pastor took 50 minutes to preach, oh but when a Red Sox ball game comes or whatever and you stay there for three or four hours and you don't want it to end the game, the longer the more you enjoy it, and then we measure the things of God with a teaspoon. We even come with the watch and we take it off, and we come with it in our hands, and we do this to the Pastor when he takes a long time to preach (laughs), amen?

Brothers, I urge you in the Name of the Lord: if this remains a sermon and preaching, lecturing them, what good is it? If you don't take that and put it into practice in your life, don't be deaf, the Holy Spirit tells you, put what you're hearing into practice.

Lower your head there right now if you dare and say: Father, I know that I am being stingy with You and I promise to give you more time for prayer. Do you dare to say that prayer? I promise to give you more time for prayer and I am going to take even three or four hours out of my week to give you more fasting, to ask you for more anointing for my life.

Father, I am going to read Your Word more, I am going to meditate more on Your Word Lord, I am going to get up a little earlier, I am going to bed a little earlier to get up a little earlier in the morning and dedicate extra time to You. Father, I know that I have been stingy, stingy with you and I need to give you more, and I promise to seek more of the anointing of the Holy Spirit in my life, help me with Your Power, with Your help Lord I am going to do it, and I am going to to be a radical Christian not only in the Church but I will clean my house, I will leave the television alone for a longer time and I will look for more of Your Word Lord, I want to be a man, a woman of the Holy Spirit and I commit myself With you Spirit of God, in the Name of Jesus Father, amen. Father: make this a Church filled with the Holy Spirit, a powerful Church that dedicates time to you, it begins with the one who is here in front, more Lord, that we give you more and that I give you more so that You have more of me.

And the last brothers about the Holy Spirit, we see, Zechariah says: the temple will be built with the Power of God, the kings, the priests, the prophets depend on the anointing of God. Jesus himself in His incarnate form depends on the Power of God, the disciples seek the Power of God. And you know the latest we see from the Bible? not the last but in terms of the Holy Spirit is that, when those disciples became Apostles and became an authority in Jerusalem from where the ministry of Evangelism emanated to all areas, Palestine, Rome, everything, they made sure that when someone was converted outside filled with the Holy Spirit.

Do you remember the story of Samaria for example? that is in Acts chapter 8 verses 14 and 15, it says that when the Apostles heard that Samaria had received Christ and there was a revival in Samaria, it says that they sent Peter and John, two of the Apostles, "who having come prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit” that they might receive the Holy Spirit.

Here again it's the minutiae and subtleties of language, but look at something. The Apostles who are directing the Church from Jerusalem realize that there are people who have received Christ as savior in that city of Samaria, which was a pagan city. You know the story that there was animosity between Jews and Samaritans, when they determine that there are people who are receiving Christ immediately dispatch Peter and John to go there with apostolic authority and lay hands on those believers who already know Christ but have not yet received the baptism of the Holy Spirit so that they pray, so that they receive, and that is something that we have lost in the Church through the centuries.

As the Church developed its governmental and administrative structure, and the Apostles, the Pastors, the evangelists, the elders began to function and the Church began to obtain new initiatives to go around the world preaching the Gospel, I suspect that this passion and this sense of commitment to make sure that every Christian who came to know Christ immediately received the baptism of the Holy Spirit was kind of dimming a little and one sees it in the same Scripture how what happens in the Book of Acts is already seen in others Books although not with such insistence, but we do see it in Paul saying he was filled with the Holy Spirit in Ephesians, etc., but I suspect that what happened is that as the Church grew and it was distancing itself more and more from that nuclear bomb that was the day of Pentecost, over time the urgency for every Christian to be filled with the impartation of the Holy Spirit was lost and that is why we have to renew that every day in our lives.

If the Church doesn't do that continuously, in a short time we simply become evangelicals here, we're out of water, we come and stay for a while, we do something and we go back to our homes, and we continue with the same old thing, and what I want is to encourage us to have that same passion.

If there is doubt in your heart as to whether you have been baptized or filled with the Holy Spirit, I advise you, rather look for that, look for it and we will be at the end this afternoon those who want to come forward here, we are going to pray so that Let's receive a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit, amen? Don't worry about those who have to leave, we bless you right now in the Name of the Lord right now, but if you want to look for a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit, I'm going to invite you in a second to come here and I ask my brothers, and leaders of the Congregation, the Pastors, the elders, come by here and let us pray that you receive a fresh anointing, your part will be to receive, our part will be to declare and your part will be to receive.

Say: I receive the filling of the Holy Spirit in my life, and then open your mouth, and if God puts a new word of tongues or of prophecy, of praises, open your mouth, don't worry about the husband or wife who is looking at you, it is more important that you agency and process what God is doing in your life, and you have to keep looking for it. Then when you are at home ask for more, more, more of the filling of the Holy Spirit in your life. Refresh me every day because that is renewed from day to day, hallelujah.

How many are receiving from the Lord this afternoon? amen, lower your head right now, let's listen to some music, bless the Congregation and receive from the Lord right now, start receiving. If you want to come forward here, we are going to look for that filling of the Holy Spirit, come here for a little while. You who are standing there, José, come here and others, cheer up, come here and we are going to pray for you this afternoon as the Lord gives you freedom, and we are going to seek that filling of the Holy Spirit, amen?

God wants to touch your life, God wants to sanctify you, come forward, there is time, the beans will not burn, don't worry, the Lord will automatically preserve them if you leave them on. We are going to seek the Lord, we are going to have a party in the Spirit here brothers. There is space over there, look, all that space, the Spirit is so full here that if you stand over there it is the same as standing here in front, we are going to spread out, there is space, everything will depend on your faith and your what you want to do in your life.

There may not be room for everyone to be touched or anointed but it doesn't matter, you can receive it. There, fight and move, and agonize in the Spirit, come well ahead, hit yourselves, don't worry, stick here for everyone who wants to come. If you are hungry God will fill you, hallelujah.

All our visitors, if you wanna pray for the people as well we would love to have you minister as well, we are gonna all just move, we are going to pray for annointing in the Holy Spirit in our lives, that we may receive a fresh visitation in the Holy Spirit, don't worry there's no obligation in anything except that we pray and we declare the annointing of God in God's people.

In the Name of Jesus cry out to the Lord, cry out to the Lord, cry out to the Lord, say: Holy Spirit fill me with you, Holy Spirit fill me, Spirit of God I need you, baptize me, anoint me, saturate me with Your Spirit Lord, impregnate me with Your Power as you did it with Mary so that she would conceive the life of God within her, you need to be impregnated with the fullness of the Spirit. Don't worry if you can't reach, where you are is fine, the Lord is moving.

Hallelujah, hallelujah, and open your mouth, and prophesy, and declare the virtues of God in your life, adore the Lord, adore him freely, don't worry about who is around you, it's you and God right now, that's all . Hallelujah, hallelujah, we praise you Lord, Holy Spirit You are here, hallelujah, thank you Lord, we adore you Jesus. Oh yes Lord, You are here, You are moving Father in the midst of Your people and we thank You, oh we bless You, we bless You, people of God adore the Lord, oh glorify the Name of the Lord, He is here.

Holy Spirit we cry out to You Lord, we cry out to You Holy Spirit, we desperately need you, move with Power in our midst Father, do not leave without feeling that this powerful Christ has touched you this afternoon, hallelujah, we adore you Lord. There is time to seek that Presence of God, thank you Lord, we praise you God, we praise you Lord, we bless you God, hallelujah, hallelujah, we bless you.
