Pastor Miranda expresses his willingness to serve the people of God and asks for suggestions, prayers, and participation to continue perfecting this medium.
The Lord is to be greatly glorified through this virtual community that is developing. Imagine what could happen if an international community arose - believers from all nations, united by one means, praying for each other and for the needs of our countries, as well as for the nations of the world.
My beloved brothers in Christ:
I hereby address all of you, members of that beautiful international community that God is slowly weaving through "God Speaks Today." It gives me great joy to read the comments of encouragement and appreciation that you send me daily from so many parts of the world. It is an undeserved privilege to be able to reach so many lives with the message of the Gospel.
It gives me great pleasure to see how servants of God are strengthened in their ministries through this word that God gives us. I rejoice in knowing that their lives are being rooted and cemented more and more by these reflections that we share in the love of Jesus Christ.
Above all, I feel great satisfaction in verifying that with the passage of time many of you feel more comfortable writing your comments and expressing your struggles, sufferings, dreams, victories, discoveries, sharing them with your brothers and sisters in the “God Speaks Today". I love it when I see someone respond to another brother with a word of encouragement or loving correction, or humble advice. Above all, it gives me great pleasure to read your prayers for each other. It is beautiful to see the sense of community that is forming between all of us.
I wholeheartedly encourage you to continue to forge closer bonds of love and mutuality between us. Let those sentences continue to flow among those who write comments based on the reflections. Pray for the needs that are presented by the writing brothers. Let us not hesitate to react lovingly and respectfully to any comment or concern raised by one of our interlocutors.
The conversations that are sometimes given in writing between you based on a comment made by a brother are especially interesting. Let us always remember how important it is to respect one another in our denominational and theological diversity. It is important to always express respect for the opinions and convictions of others, even as we express our differences and discrepancies.
The Lord is to be greatly glorified through this developing virtual community. Imagine what could happen if an international community arose — believers from all nations, united by one means, praying for each other and for the needs of our countries, as well as the nations of the world.
We live in absolutely crucial times. God is preparing to speak to the world as never before in history, and God's people are required to prepare a way through prayer and cry for his will to be established on earth in a powerful way.
Our greatest hope is that gradually this page will serve as a launching point for a community of worshipers and intercessors who facilitate the move of God in our nations — all this, of course, without weakening the local church. The wonderful thing about the internet is that it can serve as a meeting place that complements what local congregations do in all parts of the world.
Here at God Speaks Today we are eager to serve more and more the people of God, with no interest other than being channels of divine will, and resources for the people of God. That will be our only reward and source of satisfaction.
We are willing to do everything in our power to bless, instruct, and enrich your lives. Help us with your suggestions, prayers, and participation. In the future, we will be writing to share with you how you can be a greater blessing to continue perfecting this medium, which will be a blessing to the nations.
We love and bless you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Remember: Keep writing, praying, counseling, encouraging, confessing, and edifying one another. The world will be powerfully affected by that community of faithful who exemplify the values of the Kingdom of God. See you soon!
Your brother in Christ,
Pastor Roberto Miranda
