The mighty God and his people

Summary: The Church of Jesus Christ is founded on an unshakable foundation, Christ Jesus, giving us the right to be optimistic and positive about the future. The Church has authority and dominion over the Earth, and God's historical project is to bring the world to the recognition that Jesus Christ is Lord. The world may be moving further away from God, but we should never be discouraged by what we see, instead filling ourselves with hope and joy. The Church has always emerged victorious in every situation, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

The Church is going through a difficult time, but we should not lose hope because God is still in control. Sometimes the Church needs to go through times of struggle and affliction in order to be pruned and strengthened. It is important to have a positive perspective on what God is doing in the world and in our city. We should anchor ourselves to the Word of God and proclaim the Truth with humility. Despite the challenges, God is still doing wonderful things all around the world, and we should keep our faith in Him.

The Church is going through a stormy time, but we must hold firm to what God has promised for our lives. We are like the disciples in the boat, battling against the wind and the waves, but the Lord is with us and will come to us at the right time. We must trust in His plan and His sovereignty. The best is ahead for the Church of Jesus Christ, and we must be committed to working for the Lord. We must not compromise the Gospel and must stand firm in the Truth and love of God.

The speaker blesses the audience and encourages them to not compromise their faith or the Gospel. They ask God to strengthen those going through difficult situations and break chains of addiction. They ask for forgiveness and renewal of strength and vision. They ask for God to pour out blessings on the community and for them to be useful for His work. The speaker concludes by giving glory and honor to God.

I want to talk about the mighty God who is moving in the midst of his people. Many people have a message as they say of "doom and gloom", of pessimism for the Church and certainly many of the things that are happening in the world would seem to invite us to be pessimistic and to stop seeking God's favor and to become conservative in the way we live the Gospel but it is the opposite. God wants us to live aggressive and confident lives, amen? that we live believing that He still has his best ahead of him.

What's more, I could change the topic of the sermon. This morning I said that the theme was: The irresistible power of the Church, the irresistible power of the Gospel but I could also call it: The best is ahead, amen? the best is ahead for His people and I want to possess your mind with this idea that you move in a spirit, in a favor, in an intention of God the Creator of the universe that gives you every right to be optimistic, to be hopeful, to believe that God has good things for your life, be it on an individual level, your family, your children, your health or also on the level of the Church of Jesus Christ in general, but think this morning about the irresistible power of Gospel and the Church of Jesus Christ.

In Matthew 16 verse 13 we see a scene that many of us are familiar with. It says that: "When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi he asked his disciples saying: Who do men say that the Son of Man is?" in other words: who do people say that I am, the world out there, the unconverted, who do men say that the Son of Man is? then they answered him: well, some say that you are John the Baptist, others that you are Elijah, others that you are Jeremiah or one of the prophets, in other words that you are the reincarnation, the spirit of one of those prophets coming from another time to Earth. Notice that none of these public confessions see Christ as who He truly is but as a lesser version of what God had imparted into Him, what He was in Himself as the Son of God and as God Himself.

Then He asked them: "And you, who do you say that I am?" because after all brothers that is the important question, who is Christ for you? Do you see it as a lesser version, as something favorable or do you see it as the very embodiment of the Power of God? because depending on that answer that you give will depend on your action and your way of moving in the world.

Then Simon Peter answered him saying: "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God" amen, he hit the nail on the head, he hit the center of the frame, he did not have a deficient version of Jesus, he confessed him as the one sent, the Christ it is the word that is the Messiah, the Messiah, Messiah was the anointed of God, the one sent by God, the Son of the living God, he put many things there, that is, the Son because he had the same nature as the Father, a son has the nature human from a father, the Son of God has the divine nature of God and also not just any God but the living God.

"Then Jesus answered him: Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal it to you" in other words that was not a product of your theological or rational deduction, no, this was revealed to you directly by the Holy Spirit, he will have told you the Lord, "but my Father who is in heaven, and I also tell you that you are Peter and on this rock I will build my Church" and here is the key.

Let me first say something because I know that many of us, many of us who have a Catholic background and I say this with all due respect to the Catholic Church, but there is this idea that this passage constitutes the foundation of Peter as the first Pope and that the Church from then on would be based on this man, and that is definitely not the interpretation that the Protestant evangelical Church and a large part of the Christian people have given to that passage. I believe that if the Lord had wanted to make Peter the foundation of all His Church, He would have said it in a much more developed way than this.

But what the Lord wanted to say is: your name is Peter, which is Petra, which means: rock, right? I imagine in the original Hebrew and certainly in the Latin, and in the Greek it was that idea, right? your name is Peter and your name means rock, and certainly Peter on that rock; the Lord often liked to use puns, puns as they say in English. So that, you call yourself a rock and you know what? On this rock, what you have just said that I am the Son of God and that I am the promised Messiah, on that truth that you have just said, my Church will be founded, do you understand? it was not Peter but the truth that Peter embodied at that moment that God was going to use as the foundation for.

So we have to understand this, that the foundation of the Church is Christ Jesus, He is the rock, amen? and the Word also says so. Christ is the rock, His deity, His Power, His divinity and the Church is founded on Him. Imagine if the Church is founded on that rock that is Christ Jesus, who can move it, who can prevail against it? Christ is the foundation, amen? that Son of God. Then He says: On that rock, on that truth I am going to build My Church, and that must be the foundation. When we see the Church of Christ in history, in the world moving, we have to see the Kingdom of God founded on the rock, and that then constitutes the basis of our faith, our confidence, our optimism, our positivity in the world. .

I want to fill your mind with the idea that the Church of Christ, that Church to which the León de Judá Congregation belongs, that Church to which you belong is founded on an unshakable foundation, Christ Jesus and then that gives us the right to think in a very positive way about the future and what the future of the Church is at this time.

And then he says: “And to you I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of heaven and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Do you know that this was not only for Pedro? for the Lord later said the same about His Church in general. If you look in your Bible later when you can, you're going to find, let's see, here in verse 18 of Matthew 18 let me see if it's there since I mentioned it too, where the Lord says that to the whole Church , Matthew 18:18: "I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."

And the Lord Jesus Christ also said: "Again I tell you" so that they may be well convinced, "that if two of you agree on Earth, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven, because where two or three are gathered in my name there am I in the midst of them." In other words, he was saying it was: look, the Church has authority, and the Lord delegated it to them before going and is always strengthening that authority. Peter was at that moment the physical incarnation and his declaration, and his person certainly played an important role, but at that moment he said: "I say to you" but also extended to the entire Church "whatever you bind and loose"? Do you know that God has placed the Church of Jesus Christ on Earth to be an authority?

And the Lord said: "All authority is given to me in heaven and on earth, therefore go and preach the Gospel" he says "and make disciples of all nations, that is the mandate of God, that is the authority that God gave to His Church. Do you think that if Christ gave a mandate He is not going to make sure that it is fulfilled before the end of time? I think so definitely.

The Church has authority, has dominion over the Earth. I do not apologize for the fact that God has made us head and not tail. I do not apologize for the fact that we embody a truth that no other religion has and I say that with respect for other religions, I do not say that in a sense like: wow look we are here and look at the others, poor hell what, no no. One is simply saying: this is the truth.

If you know mathematics or biology or chemistry and you declare a biological or chemical truth, you do not apologize for that, you do not say: two and two are four, please forgive me, I do not want to offend you because you think there are 6, No. You say: 2 and 2 are four because mathematically it is a fact, right? You say it as a fact and likewise when we say: Jesus Christ is Lord, He is the only mediator between God and men, we say it without pride, without arrogance, like someone declaring a mathematical or geometric formula, we declare a truth and the world you have to align yourself with that truth.

And God's historical project is simply to bring the world to that recognition sooner or later. The Bible says that one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Meanwhile we are in the historical project of God is in process at this very moment.

When one looks at the world at this time and looks at the United States for example and looks at Europe, and the western industrialized world in general one could be filled with fear and pessimism regarding everything that is happening in this nation right now with the Supreme Court ruling a dictate about marriage and homosexuality, and all these things that I lovingly say is a disaster for this nation, and it's going to be destructive for this nation not because again, but simply because it's something that goes against the God's design for humanity and everything that opposes God's design has to end in disaster and I say that with love, because I would like in some way that people that God's Truth does not deny love nor does love deny God's Truth, the two have to go together.

So when you look at this nation, right? going in many directions, not just that. For example, I see something that has nothing to do with sexuality. I see what is happening in this nation when the political world of this nation, politicians like they have abandoned honesty and truth. All of this that is happening now with Trump and all of that is just, people are tired of men and women who lie while they say things and promise things that they are not going to deliver, and they change their message depending on how people want to be heard but are not they tell the people what they truly believe, and when they reach positions of power then they do whatever they want.

I think that people are so fed up that they stick to a hot nail to get out and grab whatever, and that's the problem, we create neurotic people who then create problems like the ones we have right now in this nation with politicians who don't They should be there, but it is because this world, this nation has sort of abandoned what is rational, what is reasonable, and is moving further and further from the Word of God every day. We feel like: wow what's going to happen? And the idea is that as the Western world moves further and further away from God, we have the tendency then to become fearful, conservative, to feel like we are more afraid.

I remember that the Wednesday after the Supreme Court gave its ruling on homosexual marriage here in the United States, on Wednesday night there was a feeling of heaviness in the atmosphere between us because it was like we had been slapped and we had been This sense of malaise and defeat was felt across the nation in the Christian world. I remember that the Lord led me to change my message that night for another message giving a Word of affirmation because I believe that we should never be discouraged by what we see, quite the contrary.

The Bible says that when those times come, it says that we should raise our heads because our redemption is getting closer, we have to fill ourselves with hope, with joy. This is a passing time, God has better things for us. It is not the first time that the Church has found itself in trouble and the Church has always emerged victorious in every situation. The Lord has said: The gates of hell will not prevail against My Church and I believe so.

We are going through a time, it is a time only. If you read the observations of some sociologists and theologians in the times, let's say in the 18th century here in the United States, I'm talking about the 1700s and some, the years of Jonathan Edwards, for example, if you read the struggles that took place in the In the 19th century here in this nation, even in the 20th century, it would have seemed that in each of those epochs the Church was no longer going to survive, with the penetration of rationalism, of secularism, with the spiritual decay of the prevailing churches, the level of immorality that existed in this nation in those times, the rate of attendance or little attendance at churches, in all those times there was, it would even seem worse than what we are experiencing right now and the Church of Christ has always rebounded, it has always returned stronger than ever.

Do you know that sometimes Christ has to prune the Church? This is what the Bible says, it says that the one that bears the most fruit will be pruned so that it bears more fruit, and I believe that at this time the Church here in the United States needs to be pruned and we are here for a while so we need to be sheared. Have you ever seen a sheared sheep? It's not very pretty, what you can see is just like that, its skin all wrinkled, or a tree when it's pruned, it seems like I don't know, like an electric cord touched it and the tree seems scared like that, you can see its stumps only from the branch many times, but that tree when it begins to flower again and with more force, more economically, it comes out with more vigor than before.

Do you know that sometimes the Church needs to be pruned? sometimes the Church has to find itself in times of struggle and affliction, because the biggest enemy of the Church, you know what? it is its own prosperity and blessing. When we are blessed and prosperous we get lazy a lot, you know? When God blesses us and makes us reign, then we become corrupted many times and lose, as happened with the people of Israel. When God blessed them they forgot about the Lord, when God tightened the nuts on them then: oh Lord have mercy on us, and they returned to basics.

I think we are going through a difficult time, it is true, but it is a time to strengthen ourselves, it is a time to bring ourselves to the feet of the Lord, sanctify ourselves, it is a time to return to basics, it is a time to ask the Lord: Lord, what must we do for You to return us to our former glory? let's not give up brothers, let's keep going because God has great things for us.

It all depends on the perspective we adopt. If we see this world as simply falling apart, that's how it will be, if we see it as God is working in it and that we are simply in a stage of that constructive process of God, we are going to have a new spirit, but it is important that you and I ask ourselves: what is my historical perspective of the Church and of what God is doing in this time? Is it one of defeat and pessimism or blessing and growth?

This morning I shared an illustration with the brothers about an interview that was done to two World War II veterans of the Normandy invasion, which was the border with France, that is, the entrance to France and that was the invasion of the allies, that it was going to seal forever the defeat of the German Nazi world that seemed for a time that it was going to envelop the world, and the Germans were already almost defeated, and it was the invasion of Normandy in France that was going to confirm the history of the allied countries.

But it was a very difficult battle because the Germans were entrenched in their positions at the top of that beach and for these soldiers it was one of the largest armies ever designed in the world, there were thousands of soldiers and small French boats, English and Americans, the Germans were entrenched waiting for these people to arrive who had to disembark from those ships and who were fragile. Imagine: they had to disembark and then jump in, walk on the beach full of water, the shore and meanwhile they were wide open to the shots of these German soldiers.

And one of the two veterans says that he, who had just gotten out of those boats, seeing his companions fall riddled with bullets from these snipers and German soldiers and seeing the death around him, said: we are definitely going to lose. But there was another veteran who was in a reconnaissance plane flying high above everything and he could see the big picture of what was going on at that moment, he had a much broader view of that moment.

He could see not only the soldiers that were falling right there in the immediacy of that man but he could also see the allied paratroopers that were landing in different parts of that vast beach and holding vantage points and positioning themselves in those places. He would also see other places where these Allied soldiers were landing and they were entrenching themselves, and getting into strategic positions to strengthen those who were coming after them, and they could also see Allied planes mowing down Nazi soldiers wherever they wanted and softening the resistance, and He, looking at all the progress that had been made, said: wow, incredible, we are going to win the battle because it all depends on your perspective.

Many of us are here at this moment in history, we are in this particular country and we see things that are happening at the level of the law, of society, and we say: wow we lost the battle but you know what? the gates of hell will not prevail against it. And I encourage you to take that broad, generous, faith-filled perspective that the Lord is in control of His Church.

The Lord is not going to exempt us from moments of trial because He wants to create warriors, He wants to create people of faith. Do you know where a warrior is created? on the battlefield with bullets whistling overhead watching comrades fall and just believing in the cause and its foundation and going forward.

We are in a time, yes, but if one looks, this is happening in the western hemisphere, but what about Africa where the Gospel is spreading like wildfire everywhere, what about Latin America where there are churches of one hundred thousand people and the Gospel is advancing in Guatemala, in El Salvador, in Panama, in Puerto Rico, in different parts of the world and God is doing wonderful things. What about China where there are fifty thousand Chinese wanting to convert, there are Chinese there to convert and it would be little? every day there are fifty thousand Chinese are said to accept Jesus Christ can you imagine that?

What about India where God is doing wonderful things? I was recently able to speak with a bishop from India who came to visit us here who told us about what God is doing uniting Christians and preparing them to make great entrances into that pagan country, and the number of Indians who are converting Mr. We talk about the Middle East and everything that ISIS is doing and all this but do you know that in the Middle East there are also many people who are converting to the Lord Jesus Christ? people who are having dreams directly of Jesus, they are converting, Arabs, Muslims who are converting to Jesus Christ by hundreds and hundreds, what happens is that they do not say it out of fear, for now it is a stage but God is still doing things in the Middle East to prepare for a great flowering of the Gospel.

And even in Boston, even in New England, the Lord is doing wonderful things, the Lord is doing wonderful things. I have the opportunity to go to different states and to know different segments here in New England, I tell you brothers, God is doing something precious. New England is no longer the desert that it was when we got here to Boston and began to herd, I have seen the spiritual temperature change. There are many flourishing churches, there are churches filled with the Holy Spirit, there are precious prayer movements here, there are believers who are firm in the Lord, there are Pastors who are fighting the good fight. God is doing wonderful things.

And God is using our Church here in Boston, this is a blessing for the glory of the Lord. God is using a group of Latinos and Africans and African Americans and whites to do great things in this city of Boston, and we are here holding the fort as the cavalry arrives, the reinforcements arrive. God is using the Lion of Judah Congregation for great things and great blessings.

Pastor Jonathan just came from China and I couldn't refrain from sharing this anecdote with you. He was visiting China together with Steven Johnson and a group of young pastors, and Jonathan told us at the Staff Pastors meeting this Wednesday an experience he had in China in a group meeting that went there to visit China, and There were these two Pastors who are involved with the Lion of Judah, Steven Johnson who is my brother-in-law who is Pastor in Deram and Jonathan who is Pastor here.

So they were in a meeting that was part of their training there in China and the one who was speaking, the speaker was a young Pastor who had lived here in the United States and had lived here in New England in fact, he did not know who Jonathan was. nor Steven Johnson, and then he was talking about how he said that the Chinese government, although it is atheist, is more aligned with its moral values than a supposedly Christian nation like the United States is with regard to homosexuality, to many other things, to morality and other things.

He says that when he visited here in the United States, what saddened him the most was that the North American Church, the North American Evangelical Church, was a bit of a coward and that it did not preach the Gospel as it should be preached, with confidence, security, clarity and that he saw that as a fault before the Lord of not announcing a clear, concrete, firm, Biblical Gospel in this time that was needed.

And he added these words: when I was visiting New England I visited several churches and listen, and I say this God knows for the glory of the Lord and for your encouragement, he says of all the churches that I visited, and I believe that It is not like that but there are others, but the only one with which he had experience, he says, the only church that I saw that was preaching a clear and firm Gospel, and biblical, is a Latino Congregation in the city of Boston that I do not remember its name he says, and then someone says to him: was he by chance the Lion of Judah? that same, Lion of Judah Congregation. I say that even in China they know what is happening here in Boston, amen?

And again I say before God: may the Lord forgive us if there is any kind of pride in that, but I believe that it is necessary to say the blessings of God. I believe that many times we try to put out the Gospel, to add water to the soup so that it does not taste too pure, but God forbid us from compromising the clarity of the message of Jesus Christ. The seed of the Gospel is good seed, do not play with it, simply plant it, it is the fourth seed sown by the sower who fell on good soil, and it bears fruit 30, 60, 90 and a hundredfold, amen? Let us continue declaring the Truth of God, let us remain firm in our position.

Let's try to be the best Church we can be with all our wrinkles and warts and flaws, but let's be faithful to the Lord, keep the Gospel clear, preach a high Gospel, and when we can't reach it, ask the Lord for grace and try again. Let us proclaim the Truth of God with all humility, I know that our Church is as imperfect as any other church and still needs a lot, but to the extent that we anchor ourselves to the Word of God to that extent we will be unshakable and we will be successful. To the extent that any church, any ministry is aligned with the Truth of God, that ministry will progress, it will be blessed and it will be used by God.

Let's not back down. Brothers, let us fill ourselves with a positive perspective about what God is doing in the world and in our city. We are not looking at the manifestations of delay and negativity that exist in the world. Let us fix our gaze on that Christ who said: this is My Church, I build it on the rock that I am and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

Let's keep that message firm and wherever you are, at any stage of your life, perhaps now you are going through a stormy life as the Church is going through a stormy life and your choice is: or you concentrate on the negative that is happening and you lie down to die, and you lower your arms, and you let your arms fall, and then the enemy will take advantage of you or hold you firm in what God has declared of your life waiting for the day of salvation, the day of liberation knowing that the Lord who promised is faithful to fulfill what He has promised.

While I was there waiting for my time, a passage of Scripture came to mind that I think is very appropriate for this moment and I was thinking of the disciples when the Lord sent them to the other shore and said to them: take the boat, go, I will meet you on the other side as the Lord told us two thousand years ago when He left in His ascension, He told the Church: Go into all the world, preach the Gospel, it was in a sense telling them: go to the other shore .

The other shore is when history has come to an end, God's promises have been fulfilled, the Church is reigning on Earth, Christ has come and all God's enemies have been put under His feet, that is the other side. We are now in the boat going to the other shore, historically speaking, right? Two thousand years we have been in that boat and in that sea.

The story says that when the disciples were going to sea, the wind turned against them, it was a great storm and it began to move the boat from one side to the other, and the disciples believed that they were going to perish, and it was already night. And it was almost dawn, and the disciples could not move the boat because the current and the wind were contrary to them. This is how we are at this time perhaps, for a moment the current has become hostile to us here in this country and in many other parts of the world.

The Lord who told us: go to the other shore, we cannot see him at this moment because it is dark, the wind is roaring, it is not contrary, we have been rowing for a long time and many of us can say: well Lord now, this boat is leaving to sink and it's all over. But the story says that while they were in the boat the Lord was in a high place, and in fact I have been near the Sea of Galilee and it is certainly an immense lake that looks like a sea, and is surrounded by mountains all around.

I imagined that seeing that scene I saw the reliability of the Scripture, that certainly the Lord being in a high place could see them, He could see all that great lake and could see His disciples rowing there tired, fatigued, they had lost hope and They thought that everything was over for them.

It says that at dawn the Lord got down from where he was and began to walk on the water towards them, he began to walk on the storm. What a beautiful image, Christ walking on the storm, Christ looking at His disciples weary and terrified.

Do you know that God sees the Church at this time? the Lord sees us from His Throne and He sees what we are going through here. Why did the Lord allow His disciples to spend hours battling against the wind, why didn't He help them immediately when it started, because He was sadistic and wanted them to suffer a little, to sweat before He went looking for them, He wanted to punish them? No. He was setting the stage so that when they saw him arrive, when they saw him do what he was going to do, their faith would be strengthened and they could then believe in him as the Son of God who was over the storm, over the sea, over the nature, He set the stage.

Do you know that God really likes things to reach their maximum so that he intervenes? Some have said that the darkest time of the night is minutes before dawn and God has His way of dealing in our lives. Sometimes God allows us to arrive with the water not up to our necks, I would say up to the upper part of our mouths and say: Lord, I am going to perish, and because He is teaching us. He knows that we are not going to sink, He knows that we are not going to drown and He can afford to wait for things to mature well, right? we don't see it and then we think: he forgot about me, but no, the Lord is working.

The case was that this Almighty Christ who reigns over the waters, reigns over the wind, reigns over the sea, reigns over the storm came walking on the waters towards them. The story says that when they saw him imagine between the lightning and the darkness they see a person walking towards them, they said: this is a ghost! Their little faith, they could not think that the Lord was walking on the waters, they who knew him, who had seen him perform miracles, raise the dead, release demoniacs, could not think that this was the Lord if they did not think: this is a ghost that comes to attack us or hurt us, or whatever. Many times we can think that the Christ who is preparing His Work is a ghost, that it is the devil when it is truly He who is working in history to take things where He wants to take them.

Who knows if many of the things that seem like signs of God's defeat are precisely the instruments that God is using for His glory, for His Power. Some of these people who are hurting this nation right now may be instruments that God is using to prepare His Church and train it in faith, train it in patience, train it in the use of the Power of God. The fact is that the Bible says that when he got to where they were, he got on the boat and the storm stopped immediately.

Brothers: I believe that we are right now in the middle of the storm, we are in the middle of the sea and there are things that are happening in this nation, that are happening in the world. Brothers, I tell you with all certainty in my heart that the best is ahead for the Church of Jesus Christ. We are here right now, it's 3 in the morning, it's 4 in the morning but dawn is coming, the Almighty Christ is riding on the waters.

I believe that the best times for the Church of Jesus Christ are ahead. Do you think that if we believed that we were already defeated we would start building buildings and doing work? I believe that we are preparing the space for the Power of God to manifest itself, to fill this place with praise, to set up a strategy that possesses the nations and the city, I believe, I persist in believing that God has a purpose for us . God is not finished with us or with New England, or with this nation, or with the world. The world can't get out of God's design, no matter how hard you try.

Read Psalm 2, I don't have time right now but in Psalm 2 it says that the nations will try to get out of God's control and God will laugh at them, and then confuse them with his indignation. At this time scientists believe that by manipulating the genetic code, by investigating the mysteries of the brain and neurological system, by inventing artificial intelligence, by probing beyond our solar system and investigating galaxies, and the depths of the sea, and the mysteries of the atom like you can already say: you know what? We no longer need God and they do not know that they have God inside their nervous system, God created them, God designed them, God installed laws in their hearts and in their physical system that they cannot violate no matter how hard they try, no matter how sophisticated let them wear

Man has a cord inside him that is the seal of God in his life and from that they will never be able to separate. God created man with eternity within him, and the scientist who invents the latest computer or the latest method of analysis, or the latest instrument, that doctor, that scientist, that technologist is a man like any other and when he takes off his clothes and looking in a mirror, he simply has to see a being created by God, fragile, a father who needs the love of his children and the respect of his wife, a man who is afraid of death and does not know what is there, a man who, when told: look, you're sick with cancer and there's no cure, trembles like any other man because it's the life that God has created, what God has designed, and man can never escape the dominion and sovereignty of No matter how hard he tries, no matter how big he gets, no matter how proud he is, in the long run he has to submit to God's design.

Any system, any social movement that tries to get out of there is destined to fail because no one can rebel against divine design, neither nations, nor systems, nor civilizations can escape the seal of God, and that is the last letter that we are at stake as the Church of Christ. We know that in the long run Jesus Christ wins and that every knee bows, every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord, we know that Jesus is coming and that He establishes His lordship on Earth, and that the nations recognize who He is.

The Bible says that when He has subdued all the nations under His feet then He will come and hand them over to the Father, and the Father will hand over the nations to His Son because the Word says: This is my Son and I have placed him on nations, read Psalm 2 for you to see.

That is to say: the two will be delivered. Christ is working through His Holy Spirit in His Church and He is leading the world to a place, a posture, a position. There is struggle, yes, there is drama, but that's the way it is with all exalted and eternal drama, there always has to be an adversary, there always have to be difficult and dangerous moments. But there will come a day when the Lord will say to the Son: Now look, you have achieved what you need and the Son will say: Father, here is everything that I have conquered for you, take it for Your glory and Your honor, and you and I we are instruments in that drama, you and I have the opportunity every day to be a resource for the kingdom of God.

In those schools where you go young, now starting in September, those teachers, you who work in the departments of social services or health, you who teach in a university or who work in a hospital, or the housewives who educate to his children, whoever you are, whether you are a worker or a professional, the Lord makes you an instrument for the conquest of this world.

Do not worry about where your boat is, if it is in a moment of tranquility or is in a moment of capsizing, look towards the Christ who is Lord of the storm, keep your gaze steady, keep your confession clear, do not let the devil inspire you terror or fear, or intimidate you with his lies because he is already destroyed, he is defeated, the Lord Jesus Christ defeated him on the cross of Calvary. The Bible says that He dethroned principalities and powers, what remains is simply to collect, map the territory now, the judicial government of the devil was already broken on the cross of Calvary.

What remains is simply demons out there telling people that they still have the power, a lie, the power is held by the Church of Jesus Christ, the power is held by you as a child of God, as a follower of Christ, confess that, believe it. When you are going through your tribulations and your struggles, say: I believe that the Lord is faithful to fulfill what He has promised.

Stand up, we are going to declare that truth in the Name of the Lord. Today labor day, labor day, we are going to commit ourselves to work for the Lord because I believe that the Lord has given this sermon to commit us: you know what? Come back again, put your hands on the plow. You already rested, we rested a lot during the summer, now we are going to work for the Lord, we are going to go to the places where God has placed us, we are going to be a Church again, we are going to live lives trusting in the Lord.

Do not worry about the moment or the process, do not worry about this zigzag, this little moment, this slight momentary tribulation because that slight momentary tribulation produces in us an ever greater weight of glory, says the Word of the Lord. The slight momentary tribulation is that, slight and momentary, but the Word of the Lord remains forever and you are planted on that rock, planted in that Word, planted in that divinity of Jesus. You will not perish, the storm will not prevail against you, your boat will not sink, quite the opposite. When you reach the other shore you will have a better understanding of the Lordship of Christ and His ability to fulfill all He has promised.

I bless your life. Bow your head and receive grace from the Lord. Oh my brother, my sister, do not compromise the Gospel, the devil tells you: I can give you the world if you adore me, tell him: we will only adore the Lord and we are going to fight the battle legitimately, we are going to run the race of faith legitimately according to the values of the Word and the Gospel of God. We will not compromise the Gospel, we will not compromise the Truth that includes the love of God.

In the Name of Jesus Father we ask that You renew our strength, use these words Lord to heal us, cleanse us, purify us, prepare us, give us new encouragement, new faith, new confidence, I bless this Father Congregation, I declare that the Lion of Judah Congregation and Your people here in New England will not only not perish but will live and prosper in Jesus Name. Father: forgive us because many times in our humanity we often become weak and feel fragile but this afternoon Lord I ask you: renew our strength, renew our vision, bless this people Father, fill them with faith, let them feel the love of Your Father, Your Creator and Father do something with us, we are not happy even though we thank you for what you have already done Father but we want even more, we are still not satisfied because You have something more for us Lord.

Thank you for what you have given us but we also believe that You have more and we will not be content with a very limited measure, Lord, we want everything for You Father, we want everything that You have for us. And this afternoon we tell you: open the windows of heaven, pour out your blessing on this people, Father, not because we deserve it, because we don't deserve it, but because you have placed things here that I know you can use for your glory, you have set values You have put a position, you have put a critical mass, a potential here Father that I know can be useful to you and because we believe that we can be useful to you Lord if you treat us, clean us, prepare us, equip us, then we ask you : visit us, fertilize us and give us work Lord, more work for Your Work Father, cleanse us, cleanse us, heal us, purify us, prepare us, protect us, keep us. Oh Lord, renew us and we will do Your Work Father and we will exclusively and enthusiastically give You all the glory, all the honor Father that only You deserve. Thank you Lord in the Name of Jesus, amen and amen, brothers I bless you in the Name of the Lord.
