nothing will be impossible

Summary: Prayer is not just about following biblical principles, but also about accessing the power of God to intervene directly in our lives. Prayer is the channel that allows God's power to enter the Earth and break the darkness and ties in our lives. It mobilizes resources from heaven in our favor, brings discernment and wisdom, and changes our perspective. Prayer allows us to step out of nature and into a dimension that affects nature in inconceivable ways. Through prayer, we can affect the universe and change circumstances no matter how difficult they may seem. We should make our lives a life of prayer and cry, and nothing will be impossible in the power of God.

We've been talking in this series about the God who heals us, the God who wants us to live healthy lives, the God who wants to restore us and lift us up from our fallen positions, the distortions of life.

And in these last three weeks, I think we've made a hiatus from the larger topic to talk about prayer. We have been talking about that role that prayer plays. And I want to make a summary, and that will be my sentence. What I mean is that we have talked about so many different general principles of health.

So we have talked about principles right? that we can use very good biblical principles to maintain our health, but not everything in the Christian life is about principles, about theoretical knowledge. Not everything in the Christian life is only about knowledge that we can glean from the Bible. Sometimes more than just principles is needed, the naked power of God is needed, the weapons of faith, the weapons of the militia as the Bible says, weapons are needed, direct interventions of the Spirit in our lives are needed.

Prayer is the channel, it is the channel that allows the Power of God to come down from the heavens and enter the Earth. If we do not pray we cannot receive the Power of God. The Word says that what we declare on Earth God will declare in heaven and back it up in heaven. We are like magnets that attract the Power of God from heaven to Earth, we have so much power and we don't realize it. Sometimes we don't understand all the power we have, our words.

The apostle Paul says in Ephesians that he prays for the Christians in Ephesus to understand how great is the power that God has caused to dwell in them, he says that it is the same power that raised Christ from the dead.

There is a lot of power in the world. There is power to heal disease, there is power to release many things, physicists and scientists have discovered tremendous abilities to channel the force of nature, but it all stays within nature. Prayer allows us to step out of nature and into a dimension that affects nature in inconceivable ways. No one can heal the dead, raise the dead, but the power that dwells in us that raised Christ from the dead, dwells in us and we can use that power, so the power of prayer is so great, sometimes we need to just a power that breaks the darkness and ties in us.

There are situations in our life, there are ties that are like the walls of Jericho: closed well closed and no force that we can assume has the power to break the walls of Jericho except the Power of God, and many times that is what is needed . Sometimes the ties that you have in your life, sometimes the wounds of the past, the thoughts that overwhelm you, the depression that you have had for twenty years, the anxiety that you do not know how to control, the marriage that is totally closed and that You don't know how to treat anymore require you to get on your knees and believe that the Power of God can destroy those ties and take you to another level.

Many times there is no better place to be than with a huge wall in front of us and full of gigantic situations around us because at that moment then God can manifest His power Himself and all the glory and all the honor will be only for Him . Do not despair; when you are in absolutely closed and difficult situations, that can be the best moment of your life.

Prayer mobilizes those resources from heaven in our favor, intervenes directly in a threatening situation and changes it. Prayer often brings discernment and wisdom on how to act in a situation of pain or crisis. There will be times in your life when you will not have the word or the strategy, or the way out of a situation, and when you pray the Lord bathes your brain, bathes your understanding with understanding and wisdom. That is why the Word of the Lord says that: "If anyone lacks wisdom, ask God, who gives abundantly and without reproach, and it will be given to him."

How do you make a building like this that costs about thirteen million dollars at best for five million and something? because God gives wisdom, God gives intelligence. How can a Church that is poor in a human sense, with few resources, have three wonderful buildings like these in the middle of the city?

The Lord who gave Daniel wisdom, gave Moses wisdom, gave Joseph wisdom in times of need, pray to the Lord to give you understanding, knowledge, wisdom. I believe that wisdom is almost like a substance, it is like an essence that if you ask the Lord to give it to you as a resource for your whole life and you dedicate your life to pursuing and seeking wisdom, he says that if you value Wisdom like gold and like silver God will give it to you. Read the first few chapters of the Book of Proverbs when you get home.

When you keep praying in your life and you ask the Lord to give you wisdom and knowledge, wisdom and knowledge become an atmosphere that you are continually breathing in, that oxygen-rich atmosphere of the Kingdom of God fills your brain, it energizes you and gives you the ability to make wise decisions in your life.

Sometimes God needs to change our perspective, because if you declare yourself defeated and you believe that you are defeated, you are going to be defeated, if you believe that you are surrounded by an army of giants that will not let you go to the other side, you are going to be prevented from moving If you see yourself as tiny and powerless, you will be tiny and powerless. And sometimes we have to ask the Lord: Lord, change my perspective, change my way of seeing things, and then God can do something in your life.

I am going to end with this illustration: you remember and I don't know if, I don't think I have shared it with you because as I told you, the Lord has been speaking to me so much through this drama, I know that to Meche and to the whole family, to through the drama of our dear Daniela, our little granddaughter, and I have learned so much, I have taken so much advantage of it because that is what happens. When problems come into our life, I believe that God can always teach me a lot through it. Everything that comes into our life must be turned into gold.

Daniela could almost fit on this page when she was born, she was 11 inches tall, this paper is 11-odd inches, she could almost fit here, she weighed one pound three ounces. And I remember when Meche first left here from Boston to be there for the delivery of our daughter Abigail and I left a few hours later, and you can imagine how one is in a situation like that. Abigail was in a tremendous physical crisis and that baby girl was going to be born in 25 weeks, 15 weeks, almost four months premature. But of course we immediately got into prayer and many people, thanks to all of you who also prayed on Sunday.

When I was going to Nashville full of fears and questions, uncertain about what was going to happen to our daughter and our little granddaughter, when I was walking through the terminal in prayer, asking the Lord to intervene, the whole trip was prayer in the Spirit.

When I got out, I had to turn around a space to go to where the suitcases were, and when I turned around, there confronting me, I couldn't do anything but look at that poster, that big poster of a Christian hospital that had started an advertising campaign about their facilities and their resources and all that, and that poster, that poster had the hand of a person, it was a man, and he had a baby that was actually 25 weeks old because I did the research on the internet, 25 weeks like our Daniela , in that hand there is a hand covering it and it said: "nothing will be impossible."

God can make a thousand interventions. That campaign may have served many purposes, but at that time that campaign was made for me to see and receive peace, and to change my perspective.

God was telling me: Look, your human perspective right now is difficult, full of negative possibilities, cloudy, but I see it differently. She is in My Hands and nothing will be impossible. There is no obstacle, there is no difficulty that I cannot change. And I had to stay there for a while looking and thanking the Lord because he changed my perspective in response to my cry and my prayer.

I want you to understand that you have to renew your perspective through prayer because if you fight your battles only with your resources and you are looking and analyzing your situation, your future, your hope through human resources and human conditions , you're lost. You have to fill your spirit and your eyes so that they can see through the eyes of the Lord, life as God sees it that He is sitting on His Throne and a sea of glass that does not move under His feet, and He controls everything.

Never allow your vision to be filled with negativity, never believe that you are powerless, never believe that the walls cannot fall because the walls can come down with a Word in the Spirit.

Prayer changes your perspective, prayer changes your outlook. Prayer takes captives and breaks their chains. Right here you can affect the universe, you can affect a family situation a thousand miles, two thousand miles away.

We thank the Lord for that power that He has given us to change circumstances wherever it is, no matter how difficult, the best place. The Lord does not know distances, space, time, He sees everything in total simultaneity and that dimension is the dimension of prayer and cry, and if you make your life a life of prayer and cry I will I promise that nothing will be impossible.

Father: Nothing will be impossible for us Lord because Your Power changes situations, Your Power changes perspectives, Father, Your Power makes us giants of the Spirit and we fly through the air Lord in the Power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for everything you have allowed us to do this day. We thank you for this morning Lord, it has been good, it has been special, it has been glorious and we believe that we have worked well for your glory and your honor, and we thank you. We declare that nothing will be impossible in the Power of God and the people of God say: amen, hallelujah. Stand up brother and let us worship the Lord one more time, and we are fired then, glory to the Name of the Lord.
