Summary: The story of King Hezekiah in Second Chronicles chapter 29 is a story of revival. Hezekiah was a distinguished king who showed the same passion for God as his spiritual ancestor David. In a time of national spiritual decline, Hezekiah opened the doors of the temple and called for its cleansing. He urged the Levites to sanctify themselves and remove the filth from the sanctuary. Hezekiah's call led to a mighty revival throughout Israel. The story is a reminder that God calls us to be sources of revival for our cities and regions. It is also a call to holiness and integrity before God, as prerequisites for any revival that God wants to bring to our lives. The story shows the importance of prayer and crying out to God, and the need for sacrifice and consecration to Him. The passage is a reminder that God can use even the least deserving of us to do His work, and that we must walk with holy fear before Him.
The passage being discussed is about Hezekiah calling for a spiritual convocation and renewal in Israel, where he emphasizes the importance of having a perfect heart for God. Hezekiah opens the doors of the Temple and corrects the spiritual corruption and neglect, as he understands that prosperity depends on a correct relationship with God. The writer believes that congregations and individuals who prioritize the Word of God and seek Him are needed in times of spiritual decline. The Church is called to open its doors for revival and be generous in sharing its space. The writer urges believers to remember their special identity and calling as priests and sanctify themselves. The revival starts with a sanctified Church, and believers need to stop playing evangelical and assume an identity of a servant of the Lord. The writer encourages believers to remember that they belong to a spiritual military company and to support events like the National Day of Prayer and the upcoming Korean college kids' prayer event.
The speaker urges the congregation to sanctify themselves and consecrate their lives to the Lord. They emphasize the importance of being a holy people and setting an example for others. The speaker also talks about the upcoming revival and the need to prepare and sanctify themselves to be ready for it. They ask for forgiveness for neglecting God and their spiritual lives and ask for God's mercy and cleansing. The speaker ends by giving all the glory and honor to the Lord.
Second Chronicles chapter 29 tells us about King Hezekiah, a very distinguished king, his story is very beautiful. I want to talk to you about revival this afternoon, revival. And in the first verse it says: "Hezekiah began to reign when he was twenty-five years old, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Abijah, the daughter of Zacharias" and here is the important thing about this man of God "and he made what was right in the eyes of the Lord, according to all that David his father had done." That is very significant because there were several kings in a long litany of kings who behaved badly and among those kings there were a few who did good, but very few of them are said to have done according to all the things that David had done, his father because David, by his generosity to God, his loving heart in a desperate way of God had served as the norm. Very few kings had had that passion and dedication to God like David.
And that is why it is significant that it says here that Hezekiah showed the same integrity, the same surrender, the same passion for God as David his father, his spiritual ancestor in other words. "In the first year of his reign, in the first month, Hezekiah" another interesting thing "opened the doors of the house of the Lord and repaired them, and called for the priests and Levites and assembled them in the eastern plaza, and He said: Hear me Levites, sanctify yourselves now, and sanctify the House of Jehovah, the God of your fathers, and remove filth from the sanctuary."
"For our fathers have rebelled and have done evil in the sight of the Lord our God, because they forsook him and turned away their faces from the tabernacle of the Lord, and turned their backs on him. And they still shut the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps "They did not burn incense or offer a holocaust in the sanctuary of the God of Israel. Therefore the wrath of the Lord has come upon Judah and Jerusalem, and has delivered them to turmoil, to execration, and to derision, as you see with your eyes."
"And, behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons, our daughters, and our wives have been led captive for this. Now I have determined to make a covenant with the Lord, the God of Israel, that he may turn away from us the fierceness of His anger .My children, do not be deceived now because Jehovah has chosen you to stand before Him, and serve Him, and be His ministers, and burn incense to Him."
"Then the Levites arose" and here come the names of these Levites and their families who obeyed Hezekiah's call, verse 15: "These men gathered their brethren and sanctified themselves, and entered according to the King's command and the Words of and the priests went into the house of the LORD to cleanse it, and they brought out all the filth that they found in the temple of the LORD into the courtyard of the house of the LORD, and from there the Levites carried it out into the brook. Kidron" last verse I'm going to read, 17: "And they began to sanctify themselves on the first day of the first month in the porch of the Lord, and they sanctified the House of the Lord in eight days, and on the sixteenth day of the first month they finished." Bless the Lord His Holy Word.
I don't know about you, but when I read that text it seems like it smells like something truly historical, something that really happened. Many people say that the Bible is like a fable and things that only have to be interpreted spiritually but that they do not speak of real events that happened in history, but anyone who reads that text realizes that no, that this truly records an event. that occurred in the history and in the life of the nation of Israel, we can confirm that this is something true and real.
But at the same time that we remember that this was a specific event in the life of Israel, we cannot forget that these things are recorded in the Bible to be an example for us, to be an encouragement for us, to teach us spiritual truths so that we also learn how to move in the things of the spirit.
Hezekiah is a character in a symbolic sense, he is an exemplary character whose encouragement towards God, passion towards God we also have to interpret. And one of the things about King Hezekiah is that he was the originator of a mighty revival throughout all of Israel, at a time when the nation had totally declined in its spiritual life. A time when the temple had fallen into utter neglect. The priests and Levites had gone home, they had forgotten about their ministries.
It is as if today, let's say, and by the way, we are not very far from reality, churches are closed. How many churches today are not closed due to lack of people? and the Pastors, and the servants of God began to drive taxis and work in supermarkets as cashiers, etc. and they will forget their spiritual calls because there is no town, there are no temples where to adore the Lord; not because of persecution but because of neglect and because the rulers of the nation have simply decided not to follow up on things of the spirit.
We are not very far in fact from that reality in many parts. Right now in many parts of the world in countries like Europe there are huge cathedrals that today would cost hundreds of millions of dollars to build and they are empty, or if people come, they are tourists to see those cathedrals and merely as historical and archaeological objects but not there is life in them. Europe is in fact a cemetery of churches and missions, and the United States, if God does not put His Hand in, is also quite close to that destination because there are also rulers, and there are Pastors, and there are spiritual leaders who have declined in spirit towards the Mister.
And then imagine that in that environment of total spiritual abandonment, where the animals run through the patio and the temple precincts, there is no one to sweep the House of God, the herbs have grown around, perhaps even inside the sanctuary itself, they have penetrated because of the not cleaned floors, all kinds of weeds and animals, and mice, and things run in the sanctuary because there is a total abandonment.
Hezekiah's father was an idolatrous man, a totally sinful man sold to sin and idolatry. And during his reign the temple fell into total disuse and the national religion practically ceased to exist. There was total abandonment of spiritual things. In this environment of total spiritual sterility, this man named Hezekiah emerges. He was barely 25 years old when he became king.
So let's look at that, shall we? that there is a need in that environment for renewal and revival. And the Lord put this passage and this theme in my spirit this morning, I always ask the Lord to give me the specific words for us, not simply because we are preaching a series or because, there are many sermons that one can preach and I really feel that this Word is a specific Word for your life and for our Congregation in this time in which we are living, where God has spoken to us a lot about how He wants our Church to be a focus of revival for His glory, that we be used for promote spiritual renewal in our city and in our region.
And that is what God is saying to you and to me, brothers, that God is calling us like Hezekiah; We have a sacred duty to be a source of revival for our city and for our region. How many can say amen to that statement?
And let me say something else so I don't have to repeat it and make it clear, I'm healthy. I don't think we are the only show here in Boston spiritually, there are many churches, there are many good churches, there are many good men and women of God in other spheres and other congregations that are doing excellent work and have the right heart to With God. We are not the only one, but I can talk to you because we are at home, we are with the family and I can address you that way, and I don't have to make too many clarifications. One knows that God chooses different people, different congregations to do His Work.
The second thing I want to say is that God has not called us because we are the best Church or the holiest people, nor because we deserve that. What's more, sometimes God chooses us because we are the smallest and we are the most in a sense, insignificant in a way, and because we are perhaps the least deserving of that blessing because the glory and honor are for Him and not for us. So let's never fall into any kind of pride, brothers, of talking about the Lion of Judah or this or that. I renounce that spirit immediately and we have to do it, because if we grow up and fill ourselves with pride, the fall will not be long in coming. What we do is because it pleases God to do it and we will do it with holy fear, and always pointing towards Him, and never paying attention to ourselves, amen?
Knowing also two things: that to whom much is given, much is firstly demanded, and secondly that just as the eyes of God rest on the people who are serving the Lord, the eyes of the enemy also rest, and we must walk with great care and with great neatness, because while one more can be making for the Lord, the more war there can also be against us. And I am not saying this so that we are filled with fear or that we become paranoid, but rather so that we walk with holy fear before the Lord, because whoever does the work of God must take great care to walk righteously so that Satan cannot accuse nobody, and precisely here we have a very clear call to neatness, holiness, integrity before God as one of the prerequisites for any revival that God wants to bring to our lives.
And that is why I am sharing this call with us brothers, it is a call from God directly to us. These weeks have been times of a beautiful visitation. As we have anticipated with the opening of this sanctuary that we have so painstakingly crafted and left us exhausted to some degree, knowing that God had and has a purpose with this place, and we have seen His glory. The beginning was slow but I believe that the train has begun to pick up speed and we have had precious times of visitation from the Lord. Our services are being touched by the Holy Spirit, we see an opening.
The week of fasting and prayer we had was glorious and part of it was because you came, you know? as I tell you, because God is always prepared. The Lord Jesus Christ told His disciples: The spirit is always willing, the flesh is weak. And meat is when you on Wednesday night instead of coming to the House of the Lord you stay there flattened eating a sancocho and watching television instead of coming to the House of God and seeking the Presence of God in your life and your family. Brothers, it is so.
Let me tell you, I believe that one of the things about revival is a people that pray and cry out to the Lord. I believe that part of what is happening here in the Church is because we have dedicated ourselves to seeking God and crying out to the Lord. There is something that happens when the people of God praise and pray, and declare the greatness of God, we sacrifice ourselves and come to the House of the Lord when there is a holy convocation.
Brothers: the devil is not going to drop his weapons unless it is with a fight. The Bible says that the strong man's house is not plundered unless it is tied first, and binding Satan is done through prayer, crying out, surrender, sacrifice, consecration to God, the sanctification of the people of God.
And I urge you in the Name of the Lord, I have told the brothers: God has put that in my heart. I have the great wish that one day the Wednesday service will be better attended and more crowded than this Sunday right now as we see it here. Dare you believe God for that?
Right now there is a camera recording all those who applauded and I am going to be looking for them here checking names next Wednesday (laughs). I tell you from my own experience, brothers, before I became a Pastor I used to come to the House of God on Wednesdays, you know? and I came every day so I'm not asking you for something that I haven't done in my own life, and I've seen the results and the blessing. When you serve the Lord, brothers and sisters, and give yourself, then God puts you in places of honor and uses you, and blesses your family, and blesses your house, your finances, your emotional life, but you have to pay a price for that. You have to put the Lord above all other things.
The chapter before that, a young man coming from a family as devilish as his father would not have been expected to do something similar when he arrived in the kingdom, and yet it was so. Another thing that one sees in this passage is that there were two priestly classes in Israel: the Levites and the priests themselves.
The Levites specialized in all the material affairs of the sanctuary: care, cleanliness, property, keeping the sanctuary utensils shining, things purely maintenance were the province of the Levites. Those who specialized in worship itself and in the ministry were the priests.
When Hezekiah calls this great spiritual convocation and this great renewal, he says that the Levites were more diligent in sanctifying themselves and preparing themselves than the priests, and therefore they were allowed to do many things that they normally would not be allowed to do. Because when it came time to actually celebrate the sacrifices and start the revival the priests weren't ready and there weren't enough people to administer the sacrifices, and to do all the things that needed to be done, and so they had to be called in to do it. to officiate as well.
And that tells me something, brothers, and that is that God is looking for men and women who have a perfect heart for Him. God is not looking for specialists in religion, God is not looking for people with PhDs or doctorates in theology, God is simply looking for people who desperately love and seek Him, people who are willing to pay the price. People who spread around them.
Hezekiah had the courage to say: you know what? I'm not going to get carried away by what my parents did, I'm not going to get carried away by what my family did. I am going to be spiritual head and I am going to separate. I am not going to be looking around what the culture where I live does, what the other kings did, what my dad did. I will serve, as Joshua said I think it was, me and my house will serve Jehovah. Do what you want, there you go, but I am going to serve the Lord.
And I believe that in this time congregations are needed and men and women who say the same thing are needed because we are in times of spiritual decline. We are in times where many churches are going after the culture, many ministries are putting their finger in the air to see where the wind is blowing and they are going in that direction.
Did you know? God is looking for people who search for the Word, what does the Word of God say? not what the people out there say, not what theology professors say, what does the Word of the Lord say? And those are the people that God wants to use. God can use a Church like ours to bring revival not only in the Hispanic community, but revival to the nations, revival to the New England region.
God can start a revival here that draws attention from many different places. It is not impossible. Let us not think that because we are a people that there are not many among us who have a lot of money or a lot of influence that God cannot use us. This Wednesday we were blessed to see people come from Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Australia, it was full here with people from Asia from different countries who gathered here. At one point we were translating from Korean to English, and to Spanish. A beautiful Pentecost.
And these people who come from so far away gave us a prophetic Word that God was going to start a great revival in this place, and this is not just a Word from a single person, this has been many people over many years talking about that God wants to do something in this place and through this Congregation.
And therefore, your priorities. I have always believed that in the government of a nation the primary thing is the spiritual. A ruler, a President, the first thing you should think about is where are your spiritual priorities? There have been presidents in the past who the first thing they did was, for example, to legalize homosexuality within the armed forces because they wanted to give a message to their nation. Do you think that this is a good example for a nation? what does that say where the priorities are?
A ruler can have many other limitations, brothers, but if he is at least a God-fearing person there is hope for him. God can change his heart or bless his nation in spite of him and his mistakes because his heart is in the right place. David was not a perfect man, David made many mistakes. As a dad he was a failure, as a husband he was a disaster. He made serious mistakes, God did not allow him to build a House for him because he had killed too many people, imagine; but he had a heart that desperately loved God and always repented and acknowledged his sins. And for that God loved and honored him, and blessed his nation. There was never more prosperity and more glory for the nation of Israel than when David was as ruler. Why? because his heart, he was the head of a nation.
And when the actions of a man, a ruler, offend God and promote impiety and prostitution of a moral and spiritual people, I don't care how good their social intentions are, brothers. I know that this country is doomed to failure. There will be neither justice nor will there be good spirituality because the prosperity, the justice of a nation depends on its spiritual foundations.
A nation that specializes in corrupting the other nations of the world with its demonic doctrines will never be blessed or prosperous, remember that. It does not matter how intelligent that person is, how well prepared, how well educated, how many good intentions of social justice, and we do not sell ourselves brothers to a race. If a Dominican comes and sits there in the Presidency and does not reflect the values of the Lord, the first Dominican who is going to reject him is me, because I do not sell myself to any party or to any person. We have to support the values of the Word of God.
And I love that the first thing Hezekiah did was open the doors of the temple and correct the spiritual corruption and neglect of the House of God, because he understood that prosperity depended on a correct relationship with God. It says here that he opened the doors of the temple. This means that he opened the spiritual doors of the nation. He put a sign there: open for business, open for business on the lintel of the sanctuary. And God has called us brothers to open the doors of this sanctuary for revival to the Church of Jesus Christ.
One of the things that is clear in my heart is that this Church is not only for the service of the Lion of Judah. We have to share this sanctuary that God has given us, and to the extent that we share and are generous with these spaces, God will bless us more.
We trusted that they were not going to break our chairs, but that means that later at night, people have to come to clean so that the temple is clean in the morning. And this is also going to require more money for maintenance, for cleaning, for repairs, for more use of Church equipment and all these things. In other words, we have to ask the Lord for a lot of wisdom but at the same time also a lot of generosity, because when we give and give, the Lord gives us more, and the Lord will take care of providing.
And that also means that we are going to have to be more generous with God, but I promise you brothers that everything that you invest for the Kingdom of God, God will give more than anything and will bless you, because God honors and blesses those who care about His House, those who care about His Church. This world is in need, this community is in need of generous people and people who give themselves to bless because there is hunger and thirst among the people of God.
This Saturday a group of brothers from a Christian institution is coming and they will be here from 7 to 9:30 praying there on the fourth floor because they see the city and want to intercede for the city from there from that beautiful view there on the fourth floor. Glory to the Lord, how good, isn't it? On the 20th and by the way I announce this: On the 19th, the Saturday before Easter Sunday, there are going to be 350 to 450 Korean college kids here coming to pray for revival in New England.
And by the way, my great friend Paul Jay Lee will be with me, Dr. Paul Jay Lee, who is not only a Pastor there in the city of Plymouth but also a historian of revival in the United States. He has written books and gives talks at the state house, and is one of the great exponents of Pilgrim and Puritan history. His Church every year makes a festival. This year 250,000 people came on Thanksgiving week to remember the coming of the Puritans and the pilgrims here in the United States, and it is an event of great, great excellence, and my wife and I were able to go this year, and the truth is that we were surprised.
But he will be here on Saturday the 19th, at 9 in the morning time will begin and he will give a talk that I invited him to give us a talk about revival, the history of revival, and not unfortunately there will be a translation because it is rather oriented to; but he wants us to come, that's what I mean. If you speak English or if you just want to come and season yourself in an atmosphere of worship, come, and they want our Church to support us, and that's going to be again, Saturday morning and then in the afternoon they're going to be Praying in Korean and your languages for revival here in the city. 350 to 400 young university students, what a beautiful thing and they want to be here with us, it is already being advertised in different places. Let's come and support this event.
But I could mention many things. The national day of prayer is going to be celebrated here in about three weeks, I don't remember now the date and many other things that I could mention, but glory to God that God is using our Church for revival.
Let's see: "And he said to them: listen to me Levites, sanctify yourselves now and sanctify the House of the Lord, the God of your fathers and remove filth from the sanctuary." But there is another clearer one later where he tells them that they cannot escape the call that God has given them. Look at it here, it is verse 11: "My children" and this is what the Lord says to our Church, "My children, do not be deceived now because the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him and serve Him, and burn Him incense."
Hezekiah appeals to these Levites and these priests who have abandoned their calling, who have gone to do their secular jobs like the disciples, who when Jesus was crucified returned to their nets as fishermen and when the Lord rises again finds them turned into fishermen .
And then Hezekiah tells them: "My children" as with a word of paternal love but also a solemn call, "do not be deceived, do not pretend that you have another destiny and another identity, your identity is a special identity." You understand?
Look at yourself, I'm talking to you. Don't look to the side, or back, or forward, no, at you. And the Lord also tells you: Look, don't fool yourself. You are not an ordinary person. You are identifying yourself with a ministry that has a solemn call from God and you cannot live in an ordinary way.
The Bible says that we are kings and priests, a holy nation, a people chosen by God so that we may announce the virtues of him who called us out of darkness into his admirable light. You have a purpose, you have a destiny, you have a calling, you belong to something very special, and that also requires paying a price. May you purify yourself, may you sanctify yourself. The first thing he calls the priests: hey, first you.
Do you know where the revival begins? Do you know when Satan is going to have to release the captives out there? when the Church is sanctified. When every believer says: you know what? I have to stop playing evangelical and I have to assume an identity of priest, priestess, servant, servant of the Lord, which I have to cleanse myself. I can't hang out there hanging under the, you know what it is. I have to do my spiritual exercises. I represent a chosen army.
This morning brother Camilo told us that he was educated among Jesuits and the Jesuits had a hymn that said: Company of Jesus, let's go to the war line to snatch their banner from the enemy and put up the banner of Christ Jesus. We belong to an army, we belong to a spiritual military company.
I urge them in the Name of the Lord just as I do for myself, our Pastors, the worshipers, the musicians, someone told me because you know that I am sometimes a little sincere and impulsive, that sometimes they had seen In the videos, sometimes our musicians are out there making jokes and all that, we don't realize that they are recording us, the world sees us.
When we are on duty, when a soldier is on duty, he cannot walk around as if he were a manganson behaving like anyone, we are princes and priests, we have to take ourselves seriously for the glory of the Lord, your life. Women of God, begin to dress as holy women of God says the Word of the Lord, yes, I say it. With fatherly love I suggest that at least to come to the House of the Lord we get dressed. Knows? I don't consider myself a sanctimonious person and I don't walk around all the time with my head down giving people three fingers when I shake hands, no. But there are things we have to be careful about.
I ask you in the Name of the Lord, brothers, we are going to walk as children, as servants of God. Men alike, not just women. If God has blessed you with something that causes temptation, then dress well too, behave like a holy man, a person chosen by God.
This also means: let's be the first in line. When you have to give something to the Lord, when you have to serve the Lord, when you have to agree to a meeting, when you have to volunteer for something, hey: you are a soldier of the Kingdom of God, you are a servant. His first identity is a servant of the Lord.
Whenever Paul wrote he said: Paul, slave of Jesus Christ, servant of Jesus Christ. When Elijah spoke he said: Jehovah lives before whose Presence I am. Elijah knew that he was always in the Presence of the Lord. And wherever we go, I pray to the Lord, it is heavy, it is a heavy Word, it falls on me first, Lord: help us to sanctify ourselves, help us to be a Congregation that can with authority summon and be an example and inspire others , because walking in the ways of the Lord and being a people chosen by God is something serious but it is something precious, you do not want to miss it.
I love my brothers when I see young men who are sanctifying themselves and dedicating their marriages to the Lord, when I see young women who are already taking the form of holy women and committed to God, that is a price, that is beautiful. God wants that because God wants to nest, God wants to visit us. God wants to visit us but you have to prepare. God wants to bring a revival. I have lived waiting for that revival, waiting for that very powerful visitation from God.
I know that some of you have thought that sometimes I don't give enough attention to certain typically Pentecostal things, but I always tell you, it's not because I don't believe it, but because I believe too much in them and I'm extremely careful that nothing is fictitious, because I want the gold standard, brothers, because I don't have to be fabricating revivals over there to keep people believing that there is an anointing. The day that God's anointing falls no one can doubt it. When God is moving and doing miracles, you don't have to put makeup on them or add more, they are convincing miracles.
And since I know that this happens I hold off until the real, genuine thing. I like to squeeze, you have to pour water on the altar, you know? That is the principle by which I have always lived. Elijah poured water on the altar and they would have said: but how can there be a fire if he is pouring water on it, man? because Elijah wanted it to be evident to all the people that what was going to fall was from God and not from man, and therefore he made it artificially difficult because, when God falls, He licks up all the water and even burns the stones, and it melts everything there is because the fire of God is overwhelmingly powerful.
But I know, I've waited for it and I feel like we're coming. The baby can almost be heard screaming inside the mother. You have to ask God: break the water, break the water so that it comes out and what is going to come out. But you have to prepare yourself, you have to sanctify yourself. get ready. This Church has to be a place where the Lord feels comfortable dwelling and we have to begin, the call of God: sanctify yourself, sanctify yourself, sanctify yourself. People of God: clean the altar, remove all the filth. Those glasses, those utensils that have been neglected, forgotten.
What are the utensils? God has always spoken to me. The utensils of the temple are the gifts of the Holy Spirit, they are the weapons of our warfare, our militia. And the first thing that the devil neutralizes are the utensils, so when the Babylonian exile, Nebuchadnezzar took all the utensils from the temple and took them to Babylon, and put them in the national deposit. And when the people had to go out again, the first thing they did was release those utensils.
And if you look here one of the things it says the priests and the Levites did was clean and restore the utensils of the temple. The utensils are worship, the utensils are prophetic actions, the utensils are fasting, prayer and outcry, spiritual warfare. Did I say holiness? Giving generously and prophetically to the Lord, giving it so that God can either do something or explode, but you have to put pressure on the Lord because He likes it, not because we are going to force Him to do anything, but He wants a people that will struggle with the angel until release the blessing
These are the things. Now are we taking God seriously? I want to take God seriously brothers and so do you. Let's sanctify ourselves, let's consecrate ourselves to the Lord, okay? and consecrate our hearts. It's not that we walk there with long skirts and long tongues but, balance (laughs) short tongues and long skirts, ok? be a man or a woman, whatever. Let there be love between us; sincerity, good treatment, gentleness, compassion, mercy, goodness, mutual acceptance, humility of heart. These elements have to be united so that God can truly visit a people, but I know that revival is to come and God is going to use us, we are not going to be left behind.
Let's lower our heads. Join me this afternoon and consecrate your life to the Lord right now. Father: we say amen to Your call, we want to be like Hezekiah. We want to be a chosen people who accept their destiny and join Your purposes. We receive this message, Lord, as coming from You and not from man. Our hearts are focused on one thing: loving you desperately, loving you wholeheartedly, serving you with integrity.
Father: have mercy on us when declaring messages of this nature, that not a single word falls to the ground. We surrender León de Judá, we surrender his destiny, we surrender this moment of his congregational life to You Lord, and we accept the purposes and the call for us. And we ask you to help us walk with great fear before You and with great neatness, and that you help us to consecrate ourselves Lord to You; mind, body, soul, intellect, will, memories, intimate life. Our homes, our finances, our moments of rest and fun Father. Help us to live as that chosen people of Yours with humility.
And Father from now on we say again that all the glory and all the honor are Yours alone, we do not deserve, we do not deserve any privilege that we can enjoy it, we do not deserve it. Only by Your Grace and Your mercy Father, on the contrary. We have specialized many times in offending and neglecting You, and neglecting Your courts, but by Your inexplicable Grace you choose the weak to shame the strong and you choose the foolish to shame the wise.
And we will never give glory to any man, and we will refuse to give glory to this Congregation or to any of its leaders, the glory and honor are exclusively for You Lord, and we only ask of You: do not allow us to be ashamed of Your Name and forgive our sins Lord, forgive this Congregation, forgive this people Father. Forgive our foolishness, forgive our laziness, forgive our lukewarmness, forgive our impurity, forgive our spiritual laziness Lord, forgive our spiritual comfort, forgive our hearts mixed with other substances that are not exclusive loyalty and love for You, and cleanse us every day more and more.
Wash us Lord from our wickedness, cleanse us from our sin because we have offended you Lord, we have neglected you. Our homes have not been the holy places they should be, our marriages have often not revealed the values of Your Word. Our amusements, our thoughts, our conversations have not brought honor to Your Name and our life as a Congregation has left much to be desired before Your Throne, when we compare them with the values of Your Kingdom and ask You, Lord.
Wash us, cleanse us, purify us, heal us, have mercy on us, hide us within Your Hand, Father, deliver us from the accusations of the devil, from his temptations, from his machinations and snares, and help us to walk straight before You. Purify us, heal us, and help us to be an acceptable people before You Lord. Help us to walk in a way that You like us and that we bring pleasure to Your offended Heart of a Father neglected by Your children.
Forgive us Lord in the Name of the Church throughout the Earth, we ask your forgiveness Lord, first for our own sins and then for the sins of Your family that we have not given You the glory that You deserve Lord. We have not treated you with the delicacy, preference, honor, neatness, attention that you deserve. Forgive us Lord and do not take our sins into account, but we want to please you Father. Forgive us, heal us and prepare us then to be bearers of Your anointing, Lord, to be pure vessels in which Your oil, Your anointing, Lord, can be deposited. Prepare us to be good stewards Lord of Your Grace and we will give all the glory, all the honor to the only one who deserves it: our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord, thank you. Amen, amen, glory to God, thank you Lord Jesus, thank you Christ. Let's stand up to be fired.
