Summary: The passage in Proverbs 13:4 speaks about the difference between a lazy person who only dreams and a diligent person who takes action to achieve their goals. The speaker encourages listeners to take control of their lives and live with purpose, vision, and determination. They highlight the importance of planning, self-motivation, and initiative. The speaker also addresses the "magical mentality" that some Christians possess, where they believe that simply declaring things and praising will change their lives without putting in any effort. They emphasize the need to use the power that God has given us to conquer our personal and societal challenges. The speaker concludes by encouraging listeners to put structure and discipline within the Word of God and work hard to make their prophetic declarations a reality.
The author emphasizes the importance of balancing faith and action in the Christian life. While God wants to bless and prosper His people, He also expects them to work hard and take action to achieve their goals. The author encourages readers to develop a broad vision of life and to use their skills and abilities to accomplish great things in the world. He also warns against a poor mentality that can hold people back from giving generously and parting with their resources for noble causes. Ultimately, the key to a successful and powerful life is to unite faith with action and to turn visions into concrete, material realities.
The speaker talks about the importance of having a vision and a purpose in life. He encourages the listeners to write down their dreams and goals, and to work towards them every day. He emphasizes that it may take a long time to achieve these goals, but it is important to stay focused and determined. He also reminds the listeners that failure is not possible for those who believe in God, and that even mistakes and setbacks can be used for good. The speaker urges the listeners to use their God-given talents and energy to do great things and glorify Christ.
I invite you to go to Proverbs. I want to use this simply as a point of focusing our minds on the subject at hand. Proverbs chapter 13 verse 4, two, three verses ok yeah let's use that first Proverbs 13:4 and I want to talk about how to turn your dreams into reality, the full title of this meditation is: "From Vision to Action" and how to turn your dreams into reality.
I told you the last time I preached that I wanted to start a series of sermons that I call "horizontal sermons" meaning that maybe the topic is not so sublime and exalted and spiritual but it is a very down to earth practical topic that I want to provide you with. some concrete tools for a successful life, a productive life, an extraordinary life and then I encourage you to focus your mind on that specifically.
Proverbs 13:4 says: "The soul of the lazy desires and nothing reaches, but the soul of the diligent will prosper." What struck me about that verse is precisely that it focuses on what I want to say about something that we desire, we yearn for, we continually envision, we want to do this, we dream of that, we have such a project, we want to go to such a place, we want to achieve such things at some point in our life but many times we do not reach that and it is not that I am calling them lazy just in case.
But we are lazy in the sense that we do not exercise the right skills and disciplines and practices either mentally or physically to carry out and execute our dreams but simply get lost in dreaming a lot, wishing a lot but failing to achieve a lot. and we have so many resources at our disposal as children of God that's the sad thing.
Then he says that: "The soul of the diligent will prosper" and by diligent I understand the person who lives his life according to a purpose, according to a vision, who has a goal, who has a mission to fulfill in life and who she knows what she wants and she knows where she wants to go and she knows how to get it and she is committed to her vision and she lives her life in light of what she wants to achieve in her life, I would call that a diligent person as opposed to the lazy person who just dreams, The dreamer.
There is a difference in pace between a dreamer and a visionary. A dreamer is a person who always lives with his head in the clouds, the visionary does have his head in the clouds but his feet firmly planted on the ground and conceives great visions but launches into realizing them. There are other proverbs that we could perhaps, Proverbs chapter 6 verses 6 to 8 also says: "Go to the ant oh lazy" that is to say look at the ant oh lazy, excuse me I am not calling you lazy my brothers please, "go to the ant oh lazy, see your ways and be wise" the ant is one of my favorite characters if you haven't figured that out already.
It is not the elephant, it is not the great steed with its mane in the wind, it is not necessarily the eagle flying above the heights but the simple little ant. Do you know that the ant carries I don't know about fifty or a hundred times its weight? the equivalent of a man doing that, a woman would be, for example, a 150-pound person carrying I don't know, 7,000 pounds or something like that, but those little ants with their big clods on top of them walking in formation towards a place; The ant is an admirable insect and the Bible points several times to the ant as worthy of imitation.
Then he says: "Look at the ant oh lazy, look at its ways and learn, be wise which has no captain or governor or lord" do you know that one of the most beautiful things about a person is when they are self-motivated? I admire people who don't have to be saying many things, that's why I admire my sister Delmy among many brothers and leaders of this Congregation that I admire so much, she takes one thing and sometimes I can't; I have to walk behind her running many times but she executes, it is one of the things that I admire about people is when they are motivated and say: I want to do this and then they stick to what they conceive and do not leave until they achieve it. and that is a very beautiful, very admirable virtue of the person who is motivated. She doesn't need to be whipped from behind.
I encourage you in the Name of the Lord: take initiative in your life, right? at your job don't wait for the boss to be there behind your back to start doing something, no. Set an example and do your job and motivate yourself to do your job and do not wait for the Pastor to tell you: do this, do that, no, in the Name of the Lord in an appropriate way you undertake.
For example, these brothers here have undertaken a project, a vision and look at them here I imagine that they will go to another Church at some point also to give the announcements and those are the people who bless a Congregation conceive a vision unlike perhaps the person who comes with a vision and he says to the Pastor: look Pastor here take it and execute it yourself, no, you have to take the initiative, right?
Then he says: "Look at her ways, be wise, which, having no captain or lord, prepares its food in the summer" plans, right? planning is one of the great elements of a successful life "prepare your food in the summer and collect your maintenance at harvest time." There are other verses that I am going to refer you to later, you can look in Proverbs 12:23, 24 and 27 if you want that we don't have time now there are many things ahead that we have to follow.
But what I want is for you to see that. There is a difference between a dynamic, enterprising, diligent, determined, planning, specific life, who has a vision, who conceives ideas and diligently launches into them, unlike the person who lives life under the mercy of circumstances, always improvising. . The majority, the vast majority of fellow human beings are born and die at the mercy of circumstances, victims of their context, victims of their family background, the society in which they lived, the time, the history in which they lived, what people did it for him or her and did not do it and they are simply a reflection of an accumulation of experiences that have been shaping them like the rain and the wind are forming a mountain, a piece of rock but they do not take control of their destiny.
And they decide: no, in the Name of the Lord and with the Power of the Holy Spirit I am going to order my life and I am going to take control of my existence, amen? I am going to possess the Earth as the Lord says to Joshua "I have given you all the Earth that the soles of your feet tread on" how many can believe that? We confess it, we sing it but we have not taken control of our life and we do not say: in the Name of the Lord I am going to submit my life. I'm not going to let what my parents did or didn't do for me, what society did or didn't do for me, what the federal government gave me or didn't give me, the studies I had or didn't have.
The person filled with the Holy Spirit and who is using the resources that he has as a child of God takes control of his life and lives life as we said last Sunday or ancestor according to a vision, according to a purpose and he gets to where he has to go and I want to encourage you in the Name of the Lord in this series of messages to live your life that way in a constructive, positive way.
I said last Sunday that the prosperous person is not necessarily the rich person but the person who sees himself with a project in a continuous state of formation and process, always acquiring new skills, always knowing new things, always with chisel blows like a sculptor polishing a beautiful sculpture every day removing a little bit, filing down something, some roughness, some imperfection of personality that is what I believe, that vision that we have read in the verses encourages us to be diligent people in the broadest sense of the word unlike the lazy person who lives at the mercy of circumstances and those are the people who actually get something done in life.
And that idea of how to translate our dreams into a reality and how to go from the conceptual to the actual is what I want to touch on even minimally and have to continue next Sunday, but I say here that more is required than simply faith and noble sentiments. to get success. And I also say that you have to go down from the sublime and the abstract to the real and the everyday.
Do you know? that most Christians live possessed of what I would call a "magical mentality" and I believe that Pentecostalism in which I strongly believe, subscribe to the truths of the Pentecostal vision contributes to creating people who believe that simply declaring the things and praising and raising a lot of dust are going to change their lives and that is good and necessary as we saw here, to declare prophetically, to speak the Truth of God that is very important and to be filled with the Holy Spirit but once we have the Holy Spirit within us I see the Holy Spirit as an energy that I then have to use to carry out the things that I want to carry.
I believe that inside me I have a great engine from a war tank and so I have to use that because if not, what is the use of having it? if what I'm going to do is go on a little trip around the park. Most Christians are like that, what they do is that they go from the house to the store and from the store to the house all the time and do not use it to conquer great things, we have a great arsenal of resources that God puts in our lives and then we spend our lives simply declaring, raising a lot of dust and prophesying but that requires other additional things, it requires us to put into effect that power that God has given us. I see myself more like God has given me power and then He says: now son, go into battle and I will be with you wherever you go!
Note that when God says to Joshua: "I will give you all the land that the soles of your feet will tread on" Joshua does not say: oh thank you Lord that's great then let me take possession of the land where is the title? He says: Not now, see that I command you to make an effort and be brave. The Bible is full of these paradoxes, isn't it? God tells you: this is yours but he tells you: now fight for it.
I have learned that, I say to the Lord sometimes: Lord, why don't you make things a little easier, even if it is? why don't you work with me a little bit oh Lord? help me a little bit, throw me a bone every once in a while (laughs). But I have discovered that God glories in not giving us everything because then what he creates are parasites and God wants war animals, God wants people to conquer; It's not that I'm calling you animals either, brothers, I'm insulting, first sloths and now animals (laughs).
But no, God wants powerful people and that is why, like a wise father, he does not do everything for us, but rather tells us: I give you the power, he gives us a slap on the back: so now go conquer and I will rejoice seeing you use the power with which I have endowed you. So I tell you beloved Pentecostal brothers that do not settle for mystical declarations of power, then you have to launch yourself to conquer your character, your personality, your past wounds, your personal deformations, your marriage, your finances, your spending habits and savings.
In other words, you have to put a skeleton on the body of the Word of God, you have to put structure within the Word of the Lord and that requires more than just prayers. For example: I mean yesterday we were at that most beautiful and necessary and useful meeting for the unity of the people of God, thousands of people there in the Plaza de la Mayor of Boston adoring the Lord, declaring the lordship of Christ in unity there as a people doing beautiful statements and very beautiful things; pious prayers for the establishment of God's Will in the city of Boston and in the nation.
But always me throwing a little water at the party, right? While I enjoyed all that and participated in it too but I said: you know what? if all we do is end this big meeting and go home thinking the devil is already defeated we are sorely mistaken. We have to work hard, we have to return to daily life with that anointing that we have received and put ourselves blow by blow, chisel by chisel to make what we have prophetically declared in the Power and anointing of the Holy Spirit a reality.
Both things are required, I believe that software and hardware are required, both dimensions of life are required and therefore more than faith and noble feelings are required for you to live a successful life, do not simply remain with pious declarations. You have to go down from the sublime and the abstract to the real and the everyday, and I believe that this is one of the great skills of a leader who knows how to navigate these two dimensions.
Many times among evangelicals there is a great inconsistency between what we confess and what we live, that is, between what we say with our mouths and the reality we inhabit. How many Christians go to Church and declare prosperity, blessing, abundance, God is an abundant God who prospers us, blesses us? and then we return to our limited life; poor and with limited resources and that's how we spend our lives. It's like a drug. We gather here and we are titans and we rule over creation. We go outside and the devil is waiting for us there with four little devils until we get to the house.
And you know what? that many times the evangelicals who do not speak so much about anointing or power or prosperity or money to sprouts sometimes do not even believe in electric light, they go to Church but you see that they return to their homes in Newton, in Brookline, their mansions, they leave in their Lexus and Mercedes cars, I say: wow, what is happening? They go to some precious, beautiful and well-ordered temples and everything and when they go to raise an offering they are forty million dollars and they pay for a temple practically in one day and we, the people of prosperity and power have to beg many times.
What is happening, is it that God does not honor His Word or is there a disconnect between what God has said and what we then execute? If you want to know my mind a little bit and why I sometimes say certain things and not others and why you are going to find the secret at that point in my life, I think we need both. We want to create a Church and a community and a culture that understands the importance of living in the immediate, the concrete, the real, the humble but necessary, the unattractive but crucial to carry out our visions and we have to be a people of great anointing and power and prophetic spirit but also a people that knows how at some point to take off the mantle of the prophet and put on the apron, the craftsman's apron.
Wow how good that turned out to be, write it down somewhere I don't want to forget it by 12, honestly. We have to put the Bible aside for a moment and pick up the hammer or the computer nowadays and keep the Bible very close too, by the way it would be better if we kept it in our hearts continuously, write that down for me too please, it's very good.
So we have to understand why this disconnection. God wants a prosperous Church, a blessed Church but he says: hey, the answer is there, you have My Power but now, jump into it! in My Name and with My anointing they will achieve it.
I can't escape one and that comes to mind now there is a story in the Old Testament of one of the tribes that came up to Joshua when the lands were being distributed for the possession of Canaan and this tribe comes up to Joshua and tells him he says: listen to me we need more land because we are a very large tribe and they have not given us enough land and Joshua tells them: yes it is true, you are a very large tribe but we are not going to give you more land; take the land that was given to you and clear it, cut down the mountains because precisely the power that you have and your number is to clarify the land that has been given to you. Don't just ask for more land to waste but take advantage of what you already have and you will have enough.
Do you see the idea? so it is that the Lord tells us many times we often come: Oh Lord give me anointing to lose weight. Gigi Avila, where is she so that she magically touches me and my dress falls off because I lost 50 pounds? God says: no, put a zipper in your mouth instead, okay? and discipline yourself, use My Word, use My anointing, use My power, use the wisdom I have given you and develop other skills and when you come to see you will have lost weight and you will be a much better person and you will glorify Me more with your character
having learned other things in the process.
Because God is a tremendously masterful being, as I would say, he likes to teach, he likes to take advantage of it, we are lazy and we are always depending on the miracle, right? We fill up on food, we have a stomach ache and then we want God to miraculously heal us, Pastor come and pray for me because amen? Come on, I want to pray for you, but we also have to have a balance in our lives.
I want to encourage you at least to keep that if nothing else on this day that God does not do everything for us, we have to live in the anointing but also execute in action what we must do and where we must go, right? So the mechanism of success and a powerful life is a gear of many interlocking parts. There is the anointing of God, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the Word of the Lord, spiritual warfare, praise, but there are also other things: the deformation of character, the hand-to-hand fight with yourself with your past wounds, the deformations from your past, the demons that have stuck to you throughout life, you have to detach them one by one, clearing the land to be able to occupy it and it is a matter of reading and studying and a lot of fighting with yourself to force yourself to ask for forgiveness many times when you offend someone and recognize your flaws and name and catalog them and one by one, begin to knock down those giants throughout your life until you become a man, a woman who reflects the glory and excellence of the character of Christ Jesus.
It is both. It is a gear that has many parts. Study, intellect, physical exercise, good relationships, character development along with anointing, spiritual warfare, praise, study of the Word, surrender to the Lord, fasting; the two sides, the left side of the brain: work, science and the right side: wisdom, spiritual vision the two things together is what allows a person to live a powerful and successful life and great achievements.
And my purpose is to encourage all of us to what are some of those components of success that beyond faith and spirituality and positive statements I want to broaden our knowledge of all these things.
The Apostle James says that: "Faith without works is dead." Many people have wanted to establish a false polarity between James and Paul. Paul is the apostle of Grace, Paul believes that salvation is by Grace and they believe that James was contradicting Paul when he emphasized so much in his Epistle the importance of works and a practical life and a spirituality with testosterone let's say and there is no such a contradiction; it is the same Holy Spirit encouraging us to two dimensions of the Christian life.
Certainly we need the Grace of God for everything we undertake. If we want to have a successful, happy, fulfilled life, if we want to achieve our dream, we need the beautiful breeze of the Lord behind our boat. We need the power of God, we need the blessed Word of the Lord saying: I bless your dream and launch now and your boat I will be behind it until it reaches the other shore. We need Grace, we need all these elements.
But we also need to gird up our loins and get to work in the power of the Holy Spirit in daily living, fulfilling our dreams, and conquering our own personal land. So it is what Santiago wanted simply to balance because there were many people as Pablo also says: look at the one who does not work who does not eat, why? because there were a lot of people: oh Christ is coming, the Lord is already here and then some lazy people were eating other people's food and Paul got fed up with that and said: look at the one who doesn't work who doesn't eat, ok? I hope that these people do their part.
And what Santiago says is rather correcting sometimes that false duality of the Christian life that sometimes we want to depend on God magically materializing the things we long for and need in our life and God says: No, I have given you My Power , I have given you My virtue, I have given you My character, I have created you in My image and likeness, you have within you the same skills in a minor quality that allowed me to create the universe and that allow me to govern history and bring it little by little. little towards where I want to take it day by day, blow by blow, intervention by intervention patiently My vision of a Kingdom restored to itself I want you to use those attributes that are in you in your life.
I will glorify myself in seeing you crying, sweating and bleeding from time to time because I will say: there is one of My creatures according to My image and likeness doing what I do with the universe. So God wants us to unite faith, that is, what we believe, envision, declare, and also confess to effort and work. That is why I tell you: yes, God wants to give us a great and beautiful temple, but that costs blood, it costs work, it costs sacrifice, and it costs you to control yourself and your fears.
Many of us, you know what? We come from a poor mentality where we are not used to spending money for big things, we live from the plate to the mouth. We have become accustomed to living from the plate to the mouth all our lives and so we do not have that capacity to carry out generous gestures. Why, for example, in Latin America? actually look at your entire catholic background why is philanthropy practically non-existent in our countries? there is occasionally a glimpse there.
Yet from time to time in Europe it is not as strong even by much, just a little as it is in this Protestant, Evangelical puritanical country that is already losing its breath for reasons we know well. But this tradition of giving generously and giving a lot for great works, be they artistic, academic or spiritual works, comes from generations that have grown accustomed to believing in a God who provides and a God who says: effort comes first and the blessing comes within the effort, there is a great work by Max Beiber "The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism" recently I was reviewing it again where he talks about his Protestantism that has helped so much in the development of capitalism, what happens is that it has been distorted by Long reasons to explain.
But those countries that have come into contact with the Word of God develop a different vision and the people who have been nourished through generations with the food of the Word of the Lord are then able not only to accumulate capital for their own needs but also to have excess capital for other generous things in life, while the poor person who has lived his whole life from plate to mouth when the time comes to part with that little money that has accumulated in his account for a greater work than they it is very difficult for them to do so because they still have a poor mentality.
And many times when we have already transcended poverty it is still difficult for us to give because we have been programmed to be conservative in the use of our money and so we resent or are very cautious in what we give for whatever noble thing it is.
So it's important, right? that we live in that broader vision of life that the Lord wants and that we understand that no, that God calls me to work in association with Him and my great privilege is to use the Power and anointing of God and the Word of God to accomplish great and mighty things in the world.
So again what I emphasize here is that the vision ingredient has to be strengthened by the action component. Notice here: successful people have an ability to execute and turn their visions and projects into action, I'm going to be developing that more and more in the coming ones. But what distinguishes a truly powerful person in his life is that he has an ability to conceive something in his mind and then he is not content to just leave it as a beautiful drawing on the screen of his brain but then wants to rip it out of his brain and put it on the ground and turn it into something visible and concrete and material.
And between what is here and what is going to be there, there is a distance to walk and you launch yourself step by step, blow by blow to do it and those are the people you see who do great things; they build great cities, inventions that change the world, institutions that transform a nation are the people who start small like this. By the way, it comes to mind and with that I'm going to land.
But John Harvard. You know that this massive institution that is Harvard University, the admiration of the whole world as an academic institution began with a man that I am sure that when he made his first gesture of contributing to that vision he never imagined, I am sure that he what that gesture was going to mean for humanity died. John Harvard was a seventeenth century evangelical pastor and before he died he bequeathed to a fledgling institute his collection of books, his library and about 40-50 pounds of money, pounds in sterling terms his connection with England at that time, right? To help advance this project of a place where Pastors would be trained for that nascent Massachusetts colony, imagine yourself in 1606, more or less almost 400 years ago.
And this man got rid of it, handed it over to this fledgling project, and look where this has gone. When you walk the campus of Harvard University one of the things that tourists are shown when they go to visit the incredible Harvard University is the statue of John Harvard that is in the very center of Freshman Yard there is John Harvard for the least depicted as intended by the artist.
And this man began with one, he saw the vision, he saw what it was, what it could be, but he never imagined it because many times, brother, when you dare to do something and you throw yourself into it, sometimes you don't know where it can go. your dream and your vision but it requires that you throw yourself into it and many times you will be surprised by the things that God is going to do.
Like this place here and what God has done. When we started here and in this place my desire was simply a very humble and very small thing, my faith did not allow me to conceive what God has done in these last sixteen years since we moved here including the High Education Resource Center and all the things we do there; I was just thinking of a little project there to help, I didn't even really know it well but we jumped in and God has blessed us far beyond what we imagined and has allowed us to do things that I truly never, never imagined but you have to jump into the things brother, you have to work hard.
I think about the projects my brothers here Eva Sandra and her husband Juan, these brothers conceived a vision and others with them also of: hey we are going to help our Church with a meal to raise funds for a new sanctuary and it is already fifty thousand dollars and much more; I would like one day to see how much this ministry has contributed and these brothers are there rain, shine or wind because that brings things. For you to develop your dreams you have to have a long-term capacity.
That is what great athletes do, it is their ability to tell their body: keep going even though the body is screaming: I am going to die, my heart is going to explode, no, the will is more powerful than the body and they continue Go ahead against boredom, discouragement, people who desert in the middle of the road, the flaws that you yourself discover in yourself while you are carrying out the projects, the great difficulties that are much greater than what you imagined when you undertook them but you you go on and on day by day until you see the vision realized and you are not satisfied with something halfway but what you started you finished. That is the great power of life lived to God.
It's up to you to stay and not be happy until you see your vision come true, even if it takes fifty years, it doesn't matter, you keep going until you see it come true day by day; don't worry if you die on the way better you don't have to worry then the problem is solved. Others may take your vision and carry it out, but at least you did your best to get something done.
Name your dreams, write them down, write the vision says Habakkuk 2. Do not be content even with having them in your mind, put them on paper. Meche recently told me that she spoke to a young woman from the Church and told her: write your vision, she felt that the Lord was saying that to her prophetically. Why don't you sit down and write down what you would like to achieve in your life?
And you know that interestingly I saw that young woman a couple of Sundays later, I didn't know that Meche had told her that and I was going to comment to Meche: you know what? I see this young woman and something has happened to her, there has been a change, there has been a transformation in her personality. Honestly, I saw a new sparkle in his eyes, a quality, a consistency and a solidity because that is the power of the prophetic Word. Then Meche told me that she told him that she went to her house and wrote what she wanted God to achieve in her life and she framed it and put it on a wall in her house and those things have incredible power. Now then what is missing is for her to throw herself day by day. It's going to take ten years, twenty years, forty years but for her to continue with that vision there in her mind.
Recently looking for notes for this material that I am developing here I came across something that I wrote I don't know how many years ago but it has to be at least, that was around 2001-2002 where I wrote about eight or ten things that I wanted to achieve in the Lord for our Church, and you know what? that about 80% of those things had been achieved or exceeded. There was 20% that was still missing but I was surprised by things that seemed too great to me at that time that are now a reality in the life of our Congregation.
And it is that there is something beautiful when you visit those moments and you can verify the blessing of God in your life. Write down your vision, prophetically outline it, set it, take time because to develop visions there has to be clarity. God likes that you present something well described, well established, the Lord likes specificity and by the way I tell you that this is one of the great virtues of a powerful person, specificity. To be able to think in high definition, to conceive of her visions and to be able to see them in three dimensions or even four dimensions and to think small and visit her like one can sometimes do with those computers that one can do like this and can see a part of a photograph and in large .
And so you have to do in your life. The dreams that you have in your life, the things that you want to achieve, the way in which you have to improve yourself in your character, in your personality, the things that you want to do for God, the virtues of Christ that you want in your life, the giants that you want to defeat in your life name them, write them down, define them, see them and then determine what weapons you need to bring them down and throw yourself in the Name of the Lord day by day. They're going to hit you a few times and you fall off the horse but it comes back and you get on and keep going.
And the Lord will say: You will not be defeated all the days of your life in everything you undertake because I will be with you wherever you go. Go after your vision and believe the Lord for it but don't be content simply with pious and mystical statements.
I believe that the Lord is there in His heaven continually biting his knuckles saying: When will My people develop the capacity to realize the great dreams that I have for them? and God sees people on the streets of the city dragging themselves when they have been, God has designed them and impregnated them with a vision of greatness and self-improvement.
I believe that one of the big problems for some is that they have lost the ability to dream and perhaps they never had it because they killed it when they were children or babies and they cannot even dare to think that there is something greater for their lives, but when you you become pregnant with a vision that God instills in you and you say: you know what? I am going to order my life according to that vision, I am going to use it as a point of reference for all my actions and events and decisions that I make in my life, that is going to be my North Star and I am going to order my ship according to to that north star
And everything that I do from time to time I'm going to refer to: where am I, did I stray a little bit or am I on the road? And even if it takes you twenty, thirty years, there is nothing more precious than living life according to a purpose, brother, sister, even if you don't get where you thought. Christopher Columbus thought he was going to India, he ended up in America and look how much profit we have gotten from that mistake, right? And that's how it happens many times, you won't get where you thought, but along the way, many of your mistakes are still going to be used by God for wonderful things.
How many of the great meals that we have today are the product of a mistake that a cook made and discovered something new and different so let's believe God. There are many things that I hope to share with you, one of them is that you have to arm yourself with the idea that God is with you and He wants your success and you have the support of all the resources of heaven in what you undertake. When you believe that and that value encourages you from within, then you can dare anything in life because you know that failure is not possible.
You are going to recycle even the apparent failures and you are going to take advantage of them and it is going to be wood for your fire, it is going to be one more step that you are going to use to ascend to the heights that God has for your life. Failure is not possible for the children of God, whom God loves, all events, all actions, even mistakes, help good, says the Word of the Lord.
So: people of God, do not waste what is in your bowels, do not waste what is in your mind, do not waste what is in your spirit, use that great war tank engine that God has put in you, that atomic energy and more powerful than atomic energy use it to do great things and conquer the world and glorify the Christ that is within you, amen?
May the Lord bless us and we will continue thinking and meditating on these things later on. Father: now we send this Word Lord to the hearts and Spirits of Your children and we declare that Your Word will never return to You empty Lord but will do everything for which it was declared and sent in the Name of the Lord, we believe that You have plans wonderful for me, for my brother, my sister, each one of us in this Congregation, this wonderful community. We declare this Word for those who are far and those who are near, seed of life Lord for us, our loved ones, our community and impregnate us with your dream Father and help us to live this life in the light of that Word and that seed of life that You have placed in us and of greatness.
