Summary: The sermon focuses on Ecclesiastes 11:1-6 and the principles of living a powerful and successful life. The writer encourages the distribution and generosity to others, taking risks, and continuous personal growth. Success is measured by significance and impact, not just wealth or fame. The process towards achieving goals may involve setbacks and failures, but it is important to keep moving forward with a broad, daring, and enterprising vision, trusting in God. The image of throwing bread onto the waters represents the trading ships in ancient times that traveled for long distances and had to wait for a long time to reap the rewards of their efforts.

The writer emphasizes the importance of having a long-term vision and being willing to take risks and deal with setbacks in order to achieve great things in life. He encourages readers to conceive clear, specific goals and align their daily lives with them, even when it means dealing with boredom and discouragement. The ability to think in the long term and overcome setbacks is a key skill for success.

The key to success is to overcome discouragement and boredom by being disciplined and in love with your goal. You should get rid of traumas that prevent you from reaching your goals and focus on Jesus as an example and inspiration. You should also be patient and work towards your goals, investing and sacrificing for the future. The person who arrives is the one who exempts themselves from many things and holds on to their vision. A physical building is not the goal, but rather the spaces where the glory of God can be manifested through the community. The vision should keep you motivated in the face of failures and criticism, and ultimately, what you want is to live a life that has meaning and leaves a lasting impact.

The speaker shares their personal testimony about wanting to live a life with meaning and impact, rather than just accumulating wealth. They highlight the importance of leaving a lasting legacy, whether that be through creating something that revolutionizes technology or simply putting carpets in a building. The speaker encourages listeners to live a life of greatness and honor God through their actions, and asks for the Lord's help in achieving this.

I want to sow life principles in the lives of my brothers that bless them not only at this moment and on this day, but also general life principles, and I want to go with you to one of my motto passages, one of my favorite passages found in Ecclesiastes chapter 11 verses from 1 to 6. This is one of the passages that informs my life, my Ministry and that I share many times when I have the opportunity to share with leaders.

And I titled this sermon: Elements of a Powerful Life, Elements of a Powerful Life. And it is found as I say in Ecclesiastes 11 and here it says: "Cast your bread on the waters because after many days" note what it says there after how many days, one day, two days? are my brothers here? "after many days you will find it, throw it away and trust" because after many days, after a long time has passed, you will find it again, but the implication is: not only will you find what you threw out, but you will find it multiplied , widened, grown. After many days you will find it.

It says: "Deal to seven and even to eight." For me there is a principle there, if I don't get to touch it, I want him to at least have it now for a little while: generosity. Generosity to everyone. It says that the generous soul will prosper as we saw last Sunday, our life is sometimes a life of generosity, sharing our goods. This idea that what is mine is mine and that I am like a land that absorbs everything and does not share, that is the easiest path towards both spiritual and material poverty; the generous person is the person who distributes to different causes, different people and needs that person is prosperous.

And it says: "Distribute to seven and even eight because you don't know the evil that will come on earth" is an invitation to say you know what? Since I don't know exactly what is best if this or that let me share a little here a little there. You know that? One of the things that I have learned in life is that one should always be sowing in different ways. When there is an opportunity to invest, meet someone, go to a meeting, share the gifts of the Church with someone; that's why we always believe in sharing.

If a city agency calls us, if a positive cause and the Kingdom of God call us and that flows in harmony with our principles, these spaces are for those purposes. And we sow and distribute because one does not know when the blessing may come. This brother who came here today for example John Barrows, well he may win he may not win. First, we are carrying out civic work because the Church, apart from being an institution that looks towards eternity, has its roots in time and space, in the now and here, and it is supposed to be a leaven of life for communities, society and that they inform the world with their values and that is why it is important that people also come here and listen to our adoration and listen to our passion for the Lord and see what a people that praises and glorifies the Lord is like and that they feel the energy and be soaked with that energy, that touches them. That is an eminently evangelistic and radical act.

But that person may one day become the mayor of Boston or he may just return to his job as CEO of a very influential agency in the city and he already knows us. At a given moment, it is not that we do it for that reason, but that is how it happens many times, at a given moment that act, that investment can come to bless us. While the shrunken Church that only concentrates on a small piece of the Kingdom and they take their talent and do not risk it because: oh we are a holy community, nothing can touch us that can dirty us. No, sanctity is made of iron, sanctity is made of stainless steel, sanctity is made of Teflon, nothing sticks to it. I believe that when our holiness is rooted in Christ Jesus we are indestructible. The Lord had a conversation with the devil directly and I believe that he came out just as pure and as holy as he was before the conversation.

I believe in an untouchable, powerful Church, it can allow itself certain risks. The alternative is the Church as the unfaithful servant; He takes his talent, puts it under the mat so he doesn't lose it. The Lord says: even if it's running, invest it in something man. Churches and lives, brothers: if you want to live a successful life, take risks, listen to me, you have to take risks and sometimes you have to get into situations that will scare you and sometimes you will have to ask yourself: Lord, am I doing Your Will? I hope so because my heart is devoted to you.

The person who plays it safe is not going anywhere, it is like the unfaithful servant who only keeps his talent. For example, there are brothers and sisters, benefit now, no; our Anglican project, there are little brothers who are used to Gigi Ávila and that is everything that is not Gigi and the pre-tribunational coming is not from God and they have never left their world of 1980 for here. Sometimes we believe that the Gospel is from 1985 to 2013, the Gospel is 2,000 years old, the Church of Christ and it is in all parts of the world and has had different aspects and different things that have happened in it but you have to read, you have to get out of his little world We often live in a mentality of poverty and we do not leave the world.

One day if you can go to Europe, spend your money and be scared and go to Europe and spend work and discover something new and different and come out rich. Don't always go to the Dominican Republic, you already know that, go to another country, expand your world, take risks, get scared, getting a ticket doesn't matter, but go and expand your life, expose your children to other things; now may your heart be kept pure with God always.

We take risks as a Church because there is a prophetic vision. If you have a Pastor who has a prophetic vision and who lives what he believes then you are going to have a hard time with him. And there are things that I undertake in the Name of the Lord because I believe that God gave me a vision and I do it but my heart is always seeking the pleasure of the Lord. This is not a Church that plays it safe but I assure you that we are always trying to listen to the Voice of God and stay attached to Him.

But then it is important to distribute to seven even to eight because one does not know where the blessing is going to be and how it is going to come. It says: "If the clouds were full of water on the earth they will spill it, if the tree falls to the south or to the north in the place where the tree falls there it will remain. He who watches the wind will not sow and he who looks at the clouds will not will blind." There is so much richness here in this passage I tell you I could spend six months preaching but I am going to repress the urge to stop there because I just want an overview.

The verse says: "As you do not know the path of the wind or how the bones grow in the womb of a pregnant woman, so you ignore the work of God who does all things" long to explain but the writer is starting from the impotence of man, from his inability to control certain processes of human life towards a vision of: precisely for this reason instead of holding yourself back and freezing with fear, precisely because you do not have control of the world and of life sow, undertake great things , be bold, dare because that is the condition of the world.

And if you start to think about what can go wrong and what doesn't go well and the mistakes that can be made along the way and the obstacles that you can find and the demons that are going to appear before you if you undertake something big You will never do it, never because there are mysteries in the world and each process, the more complex it is, the more mysterious and the less control you have over the final result; but you still have to move forward with a broad, generous, daring, enterprising vision, trusting that your God is with you and that those who trust in Him will not be ashamed, say the Word of the Lord. That is the hallmark of a powerful and successful person.

He says, he returns to his original vision: "In the morning sow your seed and in the evening do not let your hand rest because you do not know what is best if this or that or if one and the other is equally good." It draws power from your impotence, that is essentially, but that is another matter, right?

So here there are many principles in Scripture, many teachings that teach us to live a powerful, successful life, full of achievements, the Bible is full of those principles, and what is a successful life? you can ask me Well I would say: it is a life characterized by continuous personal growth, that is success for me. A life that is characterized by a continuous development and improvement of the individual, always discovering new horizons. A continuous development of new skills, new knowledge, discovering new challenges for your life, for your home, for your work is a restless life. The successful person for me is that is an arrow always traveling towards its target, it is a person who is not happy at the moment where he is but is always in a continuous state of self-improvement.

Notice that I didn't mention money or fame because to me one can have money and fame and still be a failure. Just yesterday I was reading an article about Floyd uhm, ah I forget the name of this boxer does anyone know? Mayweather yes. He knows that this man, the luxury this man lived in, the waste of money this man has, is something incredible. This man, says the writer, never wears shorts twice and they present him in a photo there buying his daughter some jewelry in one of the exclusive places in Manhattan, he always travels with dozens of people and says that where he goes is always a waste money is one thing but terrible, trading for a three million dollar ring there at the time.

And how this man throws away money is incredible, it is exaggerated and sinful, almost obscene but it reveals his ignorance, I think, he is a tremendously successful boxer, one of the greatest in boxing history. But for me I consider it a failure when one lives that way unless there is something else he is doing that does not appear in the article which is quite exhaustive but money is not what makes a successful person.

For me I measure success in terms of significance, impact. The successful person sets goals and stays committed to them until they are achieved no matter how long it takes or how many obstacles or detours arise along the way. That is why the writer says: because after many days throw your bread into the waters. The successful person is a person who has that capacity, has a vision of greatness, significance, achievements, productivity, personal growth, positive impact on life; overcoming his sins, ties, deformations, fears, defects and his life is a continuum: I want to be more for God, I want to be more because being more is the only thing that justifies existence.

So for me that is a powerful life, a successful life that can be the life of a very poor person but there is a hidden giant. And that's why you have to conceive the vision and conceive specific goals because every great goal takes time to achieve; no grandiose goal is achieved without struggle, without setbacks, without any small failures. Someone has said that no war plan survives the first battle intact, since the boots touch the place of battle the great strategists can conceive a total vision of how the war is going to go but since they step on the earth and start shooting the You have to adjust the first shot, things didn't go well, a helicopter fell and several were killed and the whole dynamic changed.

But then you have to move on, there is a goal but there is a process between the goal and the moment you are starting it. That's why the writer talks about it, right? again: throw your bread into the waters because after many days you will find it. By the way, that image of throwing our bread into the waters is an image that involves, because if you throw bread into the waters it will get wet and it will also undo, no. It is the image of the trading ships in ancient times that traded over long distances and had to travel for a long time, right?

So a ship could leave Israel full of wood and precious metals and travel to Turkey or Spain or whatever and spend many months sailing the oceans and the sea, it would arrive at that other place and exchange the bread, those things that it carried inside. from the ship he exchanged them for spices, fabrics, metals of other types and then he returned with the profit. So that is the idea: throw your property and your goods into the waters, yes that is what we have to do with our skills, dreams, human relationships, what God has placed in our hearts we have to throw it into the waters, we have to throw it , you have to release it; We often have to kick our children out, sometimes we would like them to sink and be there so they don't bother us anymore, but we have to let them go so they can manage and do things and then manage when they grow up and then take care of ourselves in our old age, but that's something else, right? ?

You have to invest for the long term, you have to invest for the long term, you have to take things and risk them. As you can see here the writer talks about that, things that are out of our control we have no control over. When you throw your bread into the waters, you will not necessarily be able to control it because the waters can turn stormy or you can make a mistake in navigation and take more time to get to the place or you may not gain what you expected to gain and earn less and come back with less than what you left, there are many things but that should not discourage you or prevent you from undertaking big and ambitious things in life.

In life there will be gains and there will be losses. No hitter hits a thousand that I know of maybe correct me there hasn't been a long term hitter that hits a thousand and if a hitter hits 300, 320, 350 he's a genius and they pay him $50 million a year or whatever because he hits 1 out of every 3 times is an incredible achievement, that means that two of the three times you struck out, they gave you an out or whatever, however if you win one of three times it is a lot.

In every effort there is a loss, in every effort there is a deviation and many times you are going to undertake things and you are going to get lost along the way but what you have to do is: wipe your knees and keep going, next time you can win what you needed and you can replace what you lost then.

So don't be discouraged by failures that aren't failures, they are stepping stones to greatness. Learn from failure, ask yourself why you had that setback, what lesson can you learn, and then move on stronger, more knowledgeable, and more dangerous to the devil than ever before, and with a greater ability to bless others.

No failure, no greatness, you know? what there is is superficiality. Failure, pain and struggle is what makes a man textured, layers of complexity, it takes pain to be great in life, it takes failure too. So don't get discouraged because you didn't achieve the goal immediately.

Big visions take a long time to achieve, the bigger the vision, the longer it takes many times and the longer the process takes, that's why one has to arm themselves with a long-term vision, aim that, long-term vision. To me that is one of the great skills of a successful man or woman. If you are not capable of thinking in the long term, look or leave your house, get into welfare or receive social security or whatever, but do not undertake anything that is big because every great company, every great effort, the words of Habacuc come to me chapter 2: "And Jehovah answered me and said: Write the vision and declare it on tablets so that he who reads in them may run: although the vision will take some time, but it hastens towards the end and will not lie. Even if it takes time, wait for it because without a doubt will come." Hallelujah.

If you conceived a vision, look, you will require patience. Over and over again the successful person has to exercise that skill or ability to think for months or years or even a lifetime. Many of the great historical achievements were achieved by men and women who spent their whole lives pursuing one or two achievements and are known for it but they dedicated themselves to a vision their entire life, now I am watching a John Addams movie, a movie that dramatizes the life of John Addams one of the great patriots in American history.

And how this man became deformed and lost so many opportunities to live a quiet life with his amazing wife Abigail Addams and made many mistakes and was such a passionate man that he was awkward at times socially and other things but his whole life he dedicated to founding, laying the foundations of this nation and got to see but so many things happened but he came and so we could mention a number of others, Wilberford and Abraham Lincoln ended his life by a vision.

Sometimes it takes a long time and you have to think in terms of months and years and a lifetime and what's more, sometimes you have to die and pass the baton to another person for that other person to complete it and you won't see the glory will be seen by your children or a protégé of yours or a person you mentored and your glory will be to see yourself continued in the life of another person in whom you invested.

What does Hebrews chapter 11 say? "That many of these died without seeing what they had longed for because it was for us and not for them" they were simply a bridge over which the Spirit of God passed through to us and their glory was in being like the donkey on the which Jesus Christ rode, whose glory at that moment was to feel the weight of the Desired of the nations on his back and his glory was that moment. If someone knows the name of the donkey tell me because it is nowhere and our life is sometimes that, it is simply something we leave behind. My wish, my glory, would be that this Church continue until Christ comes and even though I am six feet underground that the vision that has been sown, the efforts that have been made continue in others, I am not necessarily interested in enjoying it necessarily. but it is for others, it is for you, it is for your children, it takes time.

One would like to enjoy but it may be for another time, right? that's why one needs to see and visualize what one wants in three dimensions and in high definition and keep it in view all the time until it becomes a reality. When you conceive a goal whatever it is, buy a house, learn English, get your driver's license, have productive children in society who graduate from high school or university; get a master's degree or a doctorate, buy a house in Guatemala, learn to make a good tortilla or whatever, you form a goal.

I have been learning to make bread and I have already ruined several doughs and I have also had some great successes and poor Meche gets up in the morning and the counter is full of flour and things and I am there kneading bread, but I have proposed. And my goal is one day to make a good croissant, that is the goal I have because it is not easily achieved, it requires a lot of detail, a lot of practice and all that.

I haven't even started it yet because I know it's beyond my skill right now and I want to learn how to knead. I have said that learning to make bread is one of the most important bases for all types of food, if you can make good bread then you can do a number of things, you are ready to go to heaven, it is like the foundation. So my purpose is, I want to perfect that skill and I practice because I want one day to see that croissant exhaling smoke and with a lot of butter inside.

And so you have to do in your life with what you want to achieve, a lot of experiment. If you want your driver's license maybe you're going to ruin three or four opportunities but keep going until you have it in your hands, if you want to become a lawyer and you have to pass the bar how many times? maybe once or twice you will have to fail until you reach the goal, four times if you want to have your doctor's license or whatever or have it revalidated.

Every good goal, every great, every specific thing conceive it, see it in your mind clearly, draw it in three dimensions and then let it be before you calling you, calling you and you keep your gaze and then go towards it, align your life, all the dimensions of your life, everything you do every day when you get up, what you watch on television, what you read, the exercise you do, how much you eat, how much you save, the friends you have, what time you go to bed, at what time you get up, the nature of your conversations, everything you align to that vision and every day you live in light of it.

Those who don't know how to live like this are going to think you're crazy and since they don't know your vision intimately they're going to think: why does this guy do that? Why, instead of wasting money on going to the movies and buying a tank of popcorn and an 18-ounce soda, are you drinking a glass of water? it is because you want to buy a house and you are saving money and instead of spending 20 dollars on ice coffee in 32-ounce Donkey Donuts that gives you 400 calories each time you drink it, you learn to make a good coffee at home and you you carry it there in your little tank.

Because you have a goal and that goal pulls you and determines what you do in life, that is a powerful and purposeful life. You have to see what you want clearly, keep it in view at all times until it becomes a reality, and that clear, precise vision will keep you enthused, keep you motivated when disappointments and detours and temporary failures and snags come. and the failure, the goal, the goal invites you to get up again and then you can get up determined to continue despite the setbacks.

Hebrews chapter 12 verses 1 and 2 tells us about it in a very spiritual way. Christ was subjected to that principle and every great man or woman is subjected to that principle of long-term principle, alignment of energies, overcoming failures and setbacks, and the ability to overcome discouragement and discouragement.

Take a look here, let me tell you: one of the most powerful skills for success in life is the ability to deal with boredom. There are people who think: no, I want to be a hero, I want to be eaten by savages and thrown into a pot for Christ and this and that; I've seen a lot of times just take a discipleship class and get there at 5pm or 6pm in a snowfall and say no I want to get to this class because I want to get my diploma at the end and even though I feel like I feel that it doesn't matter to me, I'm going to improve myself and I'm going to have discipline and capacity for boredom.

Because you get there and maybe there are three little brothers there and they each say their little things about it and you say: why am I here? You are not there because you have a goal and you are going to take advantage of it and even if you feel bored, discouraged, you are cold and you are tired and you have fought with the woman, you go and be there and finish. That's why so many people look at you, they don't get anywhere because they don't know how to deal with the daily routine of life, boredom.

Every great effort and every great career in life has a large dose of daily boredom. The doctors that you see there and you say: wow, how tremendous is this guy, I would like to have the life of that doctor; look at that doctor has to be opening stomachs and smelling bad things all the time and he is almost a glorified mechanic on many occasions uncovering pipes and fixing valves like a mechanic at Toyota Repairs. Earn more money, that's true, but everything, the lawyer has to deal with paperwork, the engineer has to keep looking after dealing with it, it's often boring.

You have to overcome your discouragement, boredom and be like a hero every day. The hero is the person capable of disciplining his flesh and being so in love with the goal that he is willing to go through that long stretch of boredom and everyday life until he reaches greatness. The violinist who four hours a day makes his scales continuously for a moment of glory who is in a concert hall and there are eight hundred people standing up to give him a great acclamation at the end of his presentation, behind that there are some 500 hours of rehearsal bored in his apartment and his meat yelling at him: put in an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie and forget about these things (laughs). It's that, isn't it? But you have to retain the vision and you have to fall in love with it and chase it.

That's why Hebrews chapter 12 verses 1 and 2 look at what it says, it says: "Therefore we also" you and I "having around us such a great cloud of witnesses" I'm not going to get into that much but they are always watching, They are watching us to see if we are going to finish this or not, "having such great witnesses around us, let us get rid of all weight and the sin that besieges us" by the way, there is the life of personal improvement.

Get rid of all traumas. The sexual abuse you suffered as a child, the parents who did not affirm you as a child, the bride who left you on the wedding day, the ties and the trap you fell when they sent you your first pornographic image on the internet and you got trapped and you have not left the enchivadero for 3 years, get rid of it because that will prevent you from reaching the glory that you have in your mind and part of the glory is that, it is getting rid of many things, you have to fight and you have to take a ax and chop the brush to get where you want to get to see the ocean. So you have to get rid of many things in life.

And then he says: "And let us run with patience the race that is before us." What is your career, what have you proposed to achieve? don't go too fast or too slow, run so you reach the goal. But look here is the beauty says: "Fixed eyes on Jesus." Do you know that Jesus is one of the things that encourages you to continue the battle? He suffered everything you have suffered and a hundred thousand times more. Use it as your example, as your encouragement, use people around you to give you inspiration.

"Looking at Jesus the author and finisher of faith which" He already accomplished before you "for the joy set before Him" you see the vision He had "who because of the vision He had suffered despising the cross" He said: hey bah, I don't care about anything I'm going to move forward, what does it matter to me that they betray me, that they don't understand me, that they accuse me, the devil attacks me, that I have to go to the cross, I'm going to despise because the vision that I have is so great and he reached the goal, he sat down at the right hand of the Throne of God.

Now what was the joy set before Him, what was the goal of Jesus? to bring to the Father an inconceivable multitude of people redeemed by His blood and by His body, to reconcile humanity with God, to open for man a way of access to the Father that sin and the fall had barred, that was the joy of Him and each Every day the Lord got up to deal with stinking fishermen and sinful people and accusing Pharisees and His own humanity that was like a straitjacket for His infinite glory within Him and each day He put on his boots again and revisited the joy of a day to sit at the right hand of God the Father and look at a redeemed humanity and that kept him there, when he was on the cross bleeding the joy set before Him.

And that is what we have to do in our lives. My joy is going to be sitting there once in a while when nobody's around and looking around and saying, wow heh. That is a joy because there are other joys greater than that that I have that interest me more, but it is a joy that I want to put before me. Every day I get in there, breathe in dust, deal with people sometimes who don't understand the vision or whatever but the joy is set before me. You have to do that in your life.

What is it, is there something that you can conceive of saying: this is going to give me joy if I go for it, right? So here we see this idea of always looking at the goal we have and not so much at the agony of the daily struggle. From time to time you have to consider what you want to achieve, visualize it, revisit it, rub it a little, dust it off and put it back on the pedestal and fall in love with it again in order to gain new courage.

I'm going to finish, I have 5 minutes left, it's not 11 o'clock yet. Alright? They have the goal, the patience, the work, right? Knows? People who don't progress, who are born and die in the same condition they were born in, practically because they reached a point and stagnated there. Generally, those people are not capable of raising their heads from their immediate situation, they live looking down, right? They live from the plate to the mouth, they can only think about the need of the moment or the possibility of the moment, of the immediate, of what they have at hand. They think about how tired they are, or how poor they are, or the talents they don't have, or the education they didn't get, or the insignificant country they come from, and they don't think about what the power of God that is there can do. within them, the promise of God that He has come to give us abundant life, that I will be with you wherever you go, that I have given all the land that the soles of your feet tread on, into your hands, that I know the thoughts that I have for you that are thoughts of good and not of evil, that you have to widen the site of your tent because you are going to distribute yourself to the right and to the left and your children are going to inherit the nations and you you are going to restore the cities in rubble and falls.

And they don't think about that, they only think about the Roxbery that they inhabit full of crime and cockroaches and they only think about that, they don't think about that: there is a giant inside me of infinite proportions that is screaming to be released to express its power, that is you, the Holy Spirit of God that the Bible says He has made to dwell within you. And you have to live in that power, you have to dare to lose things. Don't just think about the moment and what is now.

Little people can't get up to think about what can be in the vision that is behind the mountain or at the end of the sea, they don't invest or set aside for the future, they can't set aside a little bit of what is now and invest it for something future, for a goal, for the advancement of some moral or ethical cause they hold dear, they fail. They only think: this is my little account that I have been kneading there and taking care of there like a wretch and if I share it it will get smaller, they don't think it will get bigger, they think it will get smaller. make smaller.

I am not dropping hints just in case this is something else, I am talking about what is the problem with so many people. In every great achievement, success, business there has to be an element of investment, stripping yourself of something that you have now and throwing it into the waters so that it returns to you multiplied, you will always have to do that with what you have. If you fall in love with what you have, be it negative or positive, and you don't look at the possibility of an enlarged harvest, you will not be successful in your life, fear will freeze you.

The person who wants to buy a house, for example, has to think in terms of years many times, they have to start preparing their credit much earlier and protect it. You have to search: ok how is my credit? I have 600, 700 how tall am I? 400 and if your credit is low, start cleaning and repairing it, get rid of the weight that besieges you and prepare it; pay your debts, fix it but you have to start thinking long before. You have to absolve yourself of many lesser pleasures to save enough.

Like I said right? instead of eating the food from the restaurant, take your little lunchbox and let the others laugh because they will never buy a house when you open your little lunchbox there and eat the little food that your husband made you, but that's what you're thinking: I'm a One day I'm going to have my house, so now I exhibit myself to get there, right? One day I'm going to have an office that says: Doctor such or Engineer such or whatever, now I have to stop going to the movies with my friends or on Saturday afternoon instead of going to the disco I'm going to stay in my cubicle studying because my goal is to do this, you have to exempt yourself from many things, right?

You have to work overtime. If you want a house you have to overcome unexpected expenses that delay the monetary goal; maybe you had to spend money on a doctor or something, maybe you had to travel somewhere to visit your mom who was sick, she left you behind but you come back again, you keep on with your goal, you keep going, every Friday you set aside a little money for the final goal and you do hundreds of things that you may not even realize to reach the goal.

That is the person who arrives, you have to exempt yourself from many things, you have to hold on to many things as Christ did. For a while he had to put his divine Majesty and Glory in brackets and said: ok don't worry I'll go back up there at some point, meanwhile he landed here on Earth and got into the flesh of a smelly baby to achieve His goal and spent a lot of work there, right?

What keeps the goal-motivated person is the clear image in their mind in this case of their own home, an achievement, that person sees and celebrates their home, prays in it and for it, and this encourages them to pay the price each time. day. I have proposed to acquire a physical plant that will last this Church until Christ comes and that will enable it to do everything it has to do missionally, I have been working on it for 20 years with the help of you and the leaders of this Congregation because one day I want our Church to have something basic well done and with the capacity of spaces within which the Glory of God can be manifested.

That is what a building is. A building is not the brick and putty that binds it together and the steel that structures it, it is simply spaces where the glory of God comes and manifests itself in totally creative and different ways every day. The building that is built is the people within it, talent that is developed, the children that are inspired, the careers that are unleashed, the community that is blessed, the witness that is given to the people, the inspiration that the people receive. when you enter a well-groomed place and the order of the Kingdom of God that is manifested in a community like this.

The continuous encounters between men and women, children and adults, professionals and poor together build something that ascends to the Throne of God and brings pleasure to Him, that's what it's all about. This is a platform, it's a scaffolding just for the Glory of God to rest upon. So that's the vision.

If you think the vision is a piece of wood or cement you don't understand the vision. So that's the vision that encourages me personally and I share it not because I think it's a big deal but because I think this inspires you a little bit. Hundreds of obstacles have intervened along the way of those 20 years and some failures that I don't even want to remember, some that didn't even have to do with construction, but that's another point, part of that.

But I have to remain tied to the vision, that keeps me motivated in the face of failures, having to ask people even for them and their children that I ask for, enduring criticism and unfair judgments from some, fatigue, sometimes the fear and anguish that is for the joy set before me and you have to do that in your life. What you want to achieve, despise the failures, the inconveniences, the people who are going to criticize you and will not understand your vision, despise it, despise it in comparison with the appetite that you have to see your life poured into something greater than yourself because that is as a last resort.

Knows? there is a selfish side to all this, me as a human being this is my personal testimony let me share a moment. What I want is that: to live a life that has meaning, that is what I intend to do, right? I'm not interested in money, what I want is to have an impact. Solid, lasting and structural impact and that my life is worth something, leaving a mark on the world, leaving the world a little brighter than it was. That's my goal, it's none of this, right?

And I say that successful people do not live only for themselves but know that they have to project themselves big by completing a big goal or joining something much bigger than themselves. If you look at Bill Gates, at Steve Jobs, at Warren Buffett, all these people have donated all their trillions of dollars to philanthropic causes because they know that greatness and success lie in significance, in associating their lives and their name with an achievement of extraordinary proportions not in monetary wealth. These people have made so much money that if they spent a million, a million every day they would not be able to finish their fortune.

But they have said, you know what? we understand that and we have already done all this for ourselves, our glory is to have achieved great things. Having conceived the vision of a great corporation, illuminating the world with an iPad or with a phone that revolutionizes technology and every person who picks up an iPhone and puts it to their ear or searches Google or the design of that little device that has revolutionized the design of so many other things the glory of that man is that; he is associated. Each person who uses his creativity multiplies him and reflects him so that man never dies in a sense although I hope, that is poetically speaking, it is not true that he never dies but he perpetuates and multiplies and diversifies then in processes that then They last well beyond your lifetime. That is what one pursues in life.

Children that reflect your talent that you expand, a community or a Church that has the touch of your life somewhere that reflects something that you did, you made something possible that is what, you can leave it there. There is a man here that I taught him a couple of times Ramón Sanchez, a humble and simple man who works in a company laying carpets and he told me one day: Pastor, I have always told my children: one day when León de Judá is prepared and the building I am going to put the carpets of that building and he said it as if he were talking about that I am going to make ten million dollars, I am going to become famous.

For him his glory was to put the carpets in that building. That man is looking for something greater than himself, he wants in some mystical way to stick to the Lion of Judah institution and its achievements and when he gives something and gets into that realm then he comes out of his own skin and becomes something that lasts. decades, centuries if Christ does not come before. That is what one should do in life, one always has to be thinking in those terms of greatness and throw everything you have in your hand into the waters, use it. Be productive, live a creative life, undertake great things.

Live like a gladiator and there is no more glory than that, there is nothing more beautiful than a man, a woman living life according to the incredible capacities that God has placed in him or her who does not settle for the moment but is always there. living for a vision that is before him. Let's live like this, that's what we aspire to and that's what you see every time I stop here to ask for money; I sincerely despise money, I use it because I have to use it because it motivates me is lives, souls, causes, impact, Christ, the Kingdom, eternity, spiritual formation that is what is behind it and hopefully you have that vision too and share it in your life and that you can leave that legacy to your children, your friends and those around you.

Let us honor the one who despised, despised the opprobrium for the joy placed before Him God bless you, let's stand up brothers for a moment.

Ask the Lord to break through some of this Word in your heart right now. Lord: thank you, thank you Father for Your call to greatness, for Your call to honor the incredible God that we adore by living like Him. May this Word fecundate Your people Lord and take them to new heights oh God, may this Church be able to live in the light of the vision that You already have for her and pay the price daily until she sits together with Christ on high.

We adore and thank you Lord in Jesus Name amen and amen. God bless you my brothers the Grace of the Lord be with you.
