Summary: The resurrection of Christ is the culminating fact of the drama of salvation and has implications for our present life. Every believer enters a new dimension when entering the Christian life and is transferred from the power of darkness to the Kingdom of light. The power of the resurrection is already ours, operates by faith and not by sight, is not for the gifted but for the hard-working, and Christ who embodies that Power always goes before us in all circumstances of life. Many pious people love God but do not know the Power that is in the fact that we are children of God and have resources around us that Christ made possible through His resurrection.
The women who went to embalm Jesus' body did not realize that he had already been resurrected and were focused on the obstacle of the stone blocking the entrance to the tomb. However, the power of resurrection was already within them and they should have had faith in it. The power of resurrection works by faith, not by sight. Sometimes God does transformative things but it takes time for them to be observable in the realm of time and space, and that is the realm of faith. We should have faith in what God has declared for us, even if we cannot see it yet.
Resurrection power is not immediate, but a process of faith where God's declaration must be believed and internal processes take place. The power is not just for the gifted, but for the hardworking and those who surrender their weaknesses to God. After experiencing the power of the resurrection, the women had to return to their tasks and share the news of Christ's resurrection with those who were demoralized and defeated. God goes before and with us, and we should live at the height of our calling and destiny, even if it means fighting and having scars. God has great things for us, and we must live out the process.
Live up to your calling and destiny, even if you face challenges, scars and wounds. Trust in God and live by faith, not by sight or works. Remember that God has chosen you and has great things in store for you. Don't declare yourself defeated, but embrace the vision God has for you.
Mark 16 says "When the Sabbath had passed" that is to say Saturday, the Lord crucified Friday, third day Sunday, "when the Sabbath had passed, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Salome bought aromatic spices to anoint him" anoint the body of the Lord "and very early on the first day of the week they came to the tomb after sunrise. But they said among themselves: who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb? But when they looked they saw the stone rolled away from the tomb that it was very large. And when they entered the tomb they saw a young man" an angel evidently "a young man sitting on the right side covered in a long white garment and they were terrified."
"But he said to them: do not be frightened. Are you looking for Jesus the Nazarene who was crucified? He has risen, he is not here. Look at the place where they laid him, but go and tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee, there you will see him as he said."
"And they fled from the tomb because they were trembling and terrified, nor did they say anything to anyone because they were afraid." Bless the Lord His Holy Word. Father, we entrust this meditation to You now, bless us in it and allow us to do justice to such a wonderful story for the glory of Your Name and the edification of Your people, amen and amen.
Brothers, the resurrection is the culminating fact, it is the culminating fact of the drama of salvation that begins in the same Garden of Eden. Last Friday a couple of days ago we were talking about that final Word of the Lord Jesus Christ while on the cross: "it is finished." And we said that there on the cross the Lord shedding His blood was like putting an end to a whole drama that had begun even before the foundation of the world when God conceived the entire history of humanity including the fall in the Garden of Eden and the resurrection, the redemption that was to follow as a result of the Ministry of Jesus.
But when Christ rises from the dead it is like the jewel on the crown. It is the climactic moment. Because we know that if Christ had stayed in the grave and had not risen, he would have simply been another martyr, a great spiritual genius, a prophet come from God. But what distinguishes Christianity is precisely its insistence that the founder of our faith and the foundation of our belief is not dead but alive. He has risen, he has conquered death. He has done what no other human being could have done. He is alive and lives among us, and he lives and reigns over all creation.
That fact that Christ has risen from the dead and that we too can aspire to our own resurrection through His resurrection is the central fact, it is the central affirmation of all Christendom. We have to remember that. In fact the disciples understood this and if you look in Acts chapter 22 there it says that the disciples chose an additional apostle to replace Judas and it says "to witness His resurrection."
Look how interesting, right? they saw themselves as witnesses of the resurrection among the many things that God had called them to do, the resurrection was central in the mentality of the disciples and in fact if you read the Book of Acts you see that idea as the apologetic argument more powerful than the disciples could adduce to present Jesus as the Messiah was precisely: the one you crucified God has resurrected. And that is the proof that He is who He says He is.
The resurrection is so important in the life of Christianity that the apostle Paul says in First Corinthians 15:14: "If Christ has not been raised, our preaching is vain, your faith is also vain." It is absolutely essential to all theology and all Christian faith.
Now my point in this meditation is the following brother because I like to get down to practical things. Ok, what does that mean for me today in the 21st century, on this day that I am living, this week that I have to live, the week that I have just lived, my struggles, my tribulations, my trials, my aspirations, my dreams what does that ultimately mean? Because I know that of course the resurrection of Christ means that one day I am going to rise from the dead and eternity is assured.
But you know what? that the resurrection has implications for today, for you and me, for the here and now as well. The resurrection is not only a historical fact, a great theological statement, but it also has implications for our present life and that is what I am most interested in pointing out. How to live now and here in the power of the resurrection, in what Christ has made possible through that mysterious act that is the resurrection.
And what I emphasize to your life this afternoon or this morning is that every believer and say: that's me, every believer enters a new dimension when entering the Christian life remember that. When you surrender your life to the Lord, when you invite Him into your heart, when you make Him the Savior, Lord of your life, when you affirm that He is who God says He is. When you do that something happens in the spiritual world. A spiritual judicial transaction takes place and it is that you enter the dimension of the resurrection. You enter a new zone.
You are going to continue moving in time and space where you are, but something is happening in the realm of the spirit, and that is that now you have a different cover inside of you. There is a new atmosphere, you come to assume a new identity. A new nature is imputed to you, a new potentiality that is now within you and even while you move in the events and circumstances of life but at the same time you are also moving spiritually in a dimension of power, a dimension of victory, a dimension of potentiality that I call the dimension of resurrection.
The resurrection is the maximum symbol of Christ, of us above all the negative of the fall, of which we know that death is the maximum representative. Death is like the final door, it is the last declaration of the devil and of sin that you are a fallen being, that you inhabit a sad and fallen world. The resurrection denies all that, the resurrection crashes against that definitive affirmation of death, of sin, of the fall. I would say that the death of Jesus was, in English they speak of a power encounter, a power encounter between two Kingdoms, between light and darkness.
And you know what? The Bible says that the darkness was defeated by the power of the resurrection, by the cross that was the prelude to the resurrection. When the Lord rises it is like the last final fight, it is the last declaration that God has more power than the devil and than sin and death, and than the fallen world and history with all its inertia. And since Christ rises, every believer enters a new dimension, the luminous dimension of hope, of joy, of victory in the midst of circumstances and beyond circumstances that is called life in Christ Jesus.
Colossians 1 verses 12 and 13 the apostle Paul declares there that: "The Father made us fit through Christ Jesus" he says "to participate in the inheritance of the saints in light." Did you know that you have a great inheritance? Perhaps you believe that you are uprooted and that you do not have a single penny in your account, but no, you have a great inheritance, the inheritance of the Father, the inheritance that Christ left, the inheritance of the saints, of all those who enter the dimension. of Christ Jesus.
It says that Christ has freed us from the power of darkness. Listen to me if you understood that and I would say: glory to God, hallelujah. He has freed us from the power of darkness, you are not under the government of Satan, believe it. I believe that much of the Christian's struggle is to come to believe that, that our mind is transformed. Because we live under the dictates of biology that tells me that I am alone and that I have to fight tooth and nail with everything in life, and that if I don't do it, nobody is going to. But the resurrection tells you: no, God has freed you from the power of darkness. You are not under the rule of the devil.
You are not even under the government of the people and you are not even under your own government, you are under the authority of the Son of God, of the Kingdom of God, of the resurrection. It also says that in that same passage that: "Christ has transferred us from the power of darkness to the Kingdom of His beloved Son."
The man, the woman who is not in Christ, who does not know Jesus lives and moves administratively, spiritually in the Kingdom of darkness. But when he enters Christ, he is transferred to the Kingdom of light, to the Kingdom of the resurrection. And that is what we have to understand. Much of the growth in the Christian life depends on our being able to make that mental transition; That is why the Bible says that we have to renew ourselves until we reach the transformation of our understanding.
Every day we have to say: Lord, help me to believe in You more, help me to live more; help me change my mentality, my way of thinking. I am not a little ant there that at any moment they are going to step on me and they are going to leave me without a head, I am a child of God, I live in the power of the resurrection; I have the power of God within me, I have the Spirit of God within me, it helps me to keep going, it helps me to overcome, I abide in the power of the resurrection.
Ephesians chapter 1 verse 3 states that: "The Father blessed us" blessed us in the past tense "has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ." And Ephesians 1:19-20 declares that: "The same glorious power that raised Christ from the dead now works in us who believe." You have to understand that your power, the power you have is not that of a rickety Volkswagen engine, it is the power of a Bradly war tank; it is the driving force of Christ Jesus himself.
However brothers we see that many believers for many Christians this wonderful news that we live in the power of the resurrection has not yet shined, our mind has not been renewed to understand that now we walk in a different territory. Our minds have often not made the adjustment and we still do not understand the full implications of the fact of the resurrection for how to deal with life's obstacles. And this passage Mark 16:1 to 8 expresses this in a concise and dramatic way. It reminds us that the resurrection has ushered in a new age of power and effectiveness for every believer, and teaches us how to navigate the complexity of that power.
There are four things that I want to point out in light of what I am saying this morning. Listen to these truths and I will briefly elaborate them then. This passage shows us that the power of the resurrection is already ours. Emphasize the word already. The power of the resurrection is already in me, it is already moving within me, it is already a reality in my life. Number two that resurrection power operates by faith and not by sight. That is very key because if you look around things are very different but you have to believe it, you have to believe that it is your faith that activates it, not the circumstances around you.
Something very important is that this power of resurrection is not for the gifted but for the hard-working. It's not for the gifted, for those who were already born with a number of resources and gifts and talents, and a very, no, no educational or family pedigree. It's not for the gifted, it's for the hard-working. The hardy and brave. It is something that the Word continually tells us.
Very important in this is that the Christ who embodies that Power always goes before us, always goes before us in all circumstances of life and we see that first point, the power of the resurrection is already ours. These women that Mark 16 presents to us here are sad. They go on a defeat mission. They are going to embalm and anoint with aromatic spices the "body" of their martyr who they thought was truly the Messiah but now they are convinced that he was not, despite how good and noble, and what a good teacher he was already. despite even the miracles he had done, but they thought that death had defeated him and that their rabbi was going to simply prepare his body so that it would dissolve little by little.
And in this, these women who are going to embalm a body that is no longer there because it has been enlivened by the Power of the Father, in this, in this failed perception these women resemble many pious people. They love God, they love Christ, they have given their lives to the Lord but they do not know the Power that is in the fact that we are children of God, members of that regenerated race, that we inhabit and that we have resources around us that Christ made possible. through His resurrection. They live life halfway, not understanding the fullness.
They live like those disciples that the Book of Acts records, I think in chapter 18 when Paul approaches them and says: Were you baptized in the Holy Spirit? and they tell him: we don't even know what the Holy Spirit is. There are so many people like that; they love God, they are disciples of Jesus Christ but they do not know that there is an additional component of power that the Father wants to give us so that we live in that power. There is an additional element that you receive when you receive the Holy Spirit within you, the gifts of the Spirit become part of your inheritance. You are not alone, the energy of the Lord helps you.
God doesn't necessarily change the world around you but he changes you so that you have victory over the world. That is why Christ says: I have overcome the world. When the change occurs within you, the circumstances have to adjust to you. That is what I have seen over and over again in my life.
I do not have to worry so much about resources that exist or do not exist, what I want is to be sure that I am in the Will of God. If I am in the Will of God, circumstances are going to have to be fixed one way or another. If I am in the Will of God, the circumstances are going to have to be fixed in one way or another; It's going to take time, I'm going to fight whatever it takes but circumstances are going to line up around me. Because not for me but for the Christ who is within me.
So these women do not know that their Master is actually already alive, they go on a defeat mission. They are still in the negative dimension but the spiritual world has changed. They don't remember how many people do, do they? that the Word of God says that: "God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and self-control."
The women are fearful wondering: who will remove the stone for us? They are focusing on the problem. They are focusing on the obstacles, they know that the Lord's body was placed in a cave as was the custom of that time for rich people because the Lord, despite having been poor in the material sense of the word, was obviously rich in power, evidently but He conformed to certain things and was buried in a tomb borrowed from a rich man; but there was a stone that had been rolled over the entrance to the tomb, a stone too strong for them to remove to gain access to their Master.
They are the poor thinking: who will remove the stone for us? That's interesting and I don't want to get ahead of the sermon but I give these women tremendous credit, because even though they didn't know how the problem was going to be solved, they still went there. I tell you brother it is a very important thing, even if you do not know all the details of the project that you are going to undertake if God has told you: go, throw yourself in the Name of the Lord God will open the sea before you.
Many people wait to have the solution to their problem and to have everything there well written, well planned, the budget made. You have to jump in; If it's from God, jump on it, walk. In the process you will learn, you will perfect yourself, you will make mistakes, but God will take you to the goal because the one who promised is faithful. I praise these women because even though they did not know how their problem was going to be solved and they thought they had a problem but they did not have it because God had already solved it, the stone had already been removed but they are still in reality this isn't it? of his defeat.
That stone to me is symbolic of everything that prevents us from triumph or joy in our lives, that prevents us from accessing God's now revealed truth that Christ is risen. That stone was like an obstacle there that prevented them from entering that cave where the power of God had been fully manifested. That stone is your problem, that stone is your difficult marriage, that stone is your fight with your mind against depression, against anxiety, against low self-esteem; the memory of the sexual abuse you received or the abuse of your parents in a destroyed childhood.
That stone is your mental ties with which you struggle. That stone is your lack of education that you want to overcome but you don't know how. That stone is a single mother, your adolescent sons who are now becoming little men and you don't know how to work with them and how to help them in the formation of their masculinity and they are there beating and doing things that are not related to life because they want to assert themselves , and you want to help them but you don't know how. That stone is your work that God has told you that there is something more for you but you do not know how to ascend to the next level.
That stone may be the fact that you have tried to learn English but when you tried you couldn't and you failed the exam, you failed and now you don't want to go back. It is your driving test that you have failed three, four times but God tells you: keep going; I have removed the stone in the spirit, I have already declared it. I call the things that are not as they are now you move in that power, continue, test, I am going to remove the test in the material because I have already removed it in the spiritual.
That stone is anything that prevents you from entering what God has already done judicially, spiritually in your life. Matthew 28:2 says that: "The angel" here is not that detail in Mark but the parallel, the evangelist Matthew in his story parallel to this one says that: "an angel came" Matthew 28:2 "rolled away the stone and sat down about her." Why did the angel sit on her, because she had tired after pushing her? no, I think that angel looked at it and said: move and the stone said: yes sir and it moved. No, he sat down as a sign of victory and power.
He sat on the stone as an affirmation that the inertia of life had been overcome and that the power of God is greater than any obstacle, than any impediment that stands between you and the bright future that God has for your life.
When we transform our understanding and understand the power that has been delegated from heaven over our lives so that we reach the goals of an overcome life, all we need to do is then launch ourselves on a journey of faith to find what God has told us. which is ours Victory is already certain, the process is something else. The process glorifies God and it will make you stronger.
What we believe brothers, what we believe will determine what we consider possible and what we undertake. And what we believe is possible will determine our success and what comes true in our lives. Many Christians live from plate to mouth because we do not understand that we are actually princes, princesses who walk in the wonderful Power of the resurrection. The Christ who is in us and who has told us: I have overcome the world, have confidence; I am with you until the end of the world, do not fear because I have given you the victory, I have given you the Power.
Brothers, I believe that in reality there is not so much to ask God for power as learning to move in the power that we already have. In a sense we could say it like this, there is nothing like saying to the Lord: give me power but I think it would be more biblically correct to say: Lord help me to understand all the power that is within me so that I can then realize it in my life and move in that power, and convert it from potential to actual.
So we see this clearly, right? that the power of resurrection is already within you. Every day take a spoonful of resurrection, every day take a teaspoon of resurrection. So it's important, see you in the power of the resurrection.
Secondly, the power of the resurrection works by faith and not by sight, works by faith and not by sight. As I was saying a moment ago to their credit these women have the fact that they did not let their doubt stop them from going to the grave with the aromatic spices. They didn't know how they were going to enter but they go. They are not looking, although they look at the circumstances but there is something about them that encourages them to move on. Imagine if they had said: you know what? impossible, that stone cannot be removed so let's stay at home and see what happens.
They transcended that. If they had stayed at home they would have missed the great blessing of what they witnessed. As I frequently say, life will surround us with obstacles and negative circumstances that will seem to deny this new dimension in which we already in reality inhabit.
Let me read briefly, there is a meditation that Ernst Diehl actually put on our page today concerning this resurrection thing and this was a meditation that I wrote a long time ago or that I enunciated in a sermon a long time ago because these truths are repeated over and over again. time in different ways, but listen to this about circumstances and faith, and the processes involved and that it is by faith, not by what you see around you. Because what you see around you may not reflect the reality that God has already created on the spiritual level, or what God has already declared for you, the vision that He has for you, you are still here in the moment, in the beginning or in the middle of the process but God already has other things ahead, an end that you are going to reach.
But you have to know that you have to go through a process and that is where we Christians sometimes stumble, it is in the process that is often denied. I say here this passage introduces us to what I call the middle moment of the resurrection. The resurrection of Jesus was already a fact but it had not yet been felt in all its public manifestations. Something had happened that would change history forever but no one had learned of that fact yet. It was an ontological reality to use a Sunday word, it was a real reality but there was no observer to verify it and witness that reality.
And I want to tell you that when God does great things in our lives and we still haven't realized that He has done them and we continue to live as if He hadn't done them, we are missing out on a great resource for our lives. When God does transformative things sometimes in our life, sometimes in history. I believe that God has done something great in history now. The world has not realized it yet but I believe that we are in a pregnant time for the power of God to manifest itself in this city and in this world. God has already given the Word and now we are working; building works, preparing spaces, declaring word by faith like Noah.
God has said it is going to rain and I believe that He is going to rain and I am going to build an ark so that when it rains it can contain but there is still more that God has even though we cannot see it. But many times God has done great things, He has declared transforming things in our life, in history and He does them sovereignly and in the spiritual world that is already an undeniable reality, it is a structure of the universe. But still in the world of time and space, in the circumstances that has not become evident, it has not become totally observable and real.
And what happens in that intermediate time, in that time when God gives His Word and that is transmitted to our world and we realize it, we still do not realize what happens in that intermediate time? that desert time, that time of definition, that time of limbo in a sense. We have to meditate on that, that is what I call the time of faith, on what God does what He says He is going to do at an observable level. Sometimes God does transcendental things in the realm of His Spirit, of His Kingdom, of eternity, in heaven. Sometimes He does transforming things in the world, He operates on reality but it takes some time for that fact of God to be transmitted to the realm in which we live, to the realm of time and space.
The Bible tells us that the Kingdom of God is already within us, in our midst, however we know that history still continues with its madness, children still die prematurely, there are still wars, there are still exploitations in the world, there are disease. There is a time of disconnection and adjustment between the act of God in the spiritual realm and the full manifestation of the consequences of that gesture of God, of that action of God in the realm of time and space.
Many times God gives a Word but takes time for that Word to be fulfilled in the realm of reality. And that time of disconnection between what God has said and that it becomes evident in time and space, that is what I call the realm of faith. And we are living in one way or another always in that territory throughout our lives.
The Lord had done something mighty, He had resurrected His Son. That tomb was illuminated with a powerful light but there was no one to see it yet. The miracle happened but there was a time until there were people who realized it, meanwhile they lived in time as sadness, mourning, disappointment, feeling that God had not done everything he had promised them. So we see this right? that sometimes God does transcendental things in the spiritual realm and God does but it takes time for that miracle to take place because God works supernaturally through nature many times, and we see it repeatedly. It is a secret that I have learned from life.
When I ask God for something I believe that God declares it but there is a time then until it becomes real. Do you remember when the Lord cursed the fig tree? He said to him: never again grow fruit from you. What happened? The fig tree continued the same as it was at the beginning, but at the end of the day when they returned along the road the disciples said: wow teacher, the fig tree that you cursed dried up! because? because when the Lord said: no more fruit grow from you in the very root of the fig tree death came but it took time for the fig tree to dry up.
When you buy some flowers, doesn't it sometimes take a couple of days for the flowers to dry completely? but since it was uprooted, cut from the stem, the process of death had begun, but it takes time and that's how it happens with positive things. God declares them but then some internal processes have to take place, a reconstruction of the being, of the mind. God has told you: you are a warrior, you are a Pastor, you are a Preacher, you are a counselor, you are a powerful woman, you are an elder of My Church. And it is not that He touches you with a magic wand and that tomorrow you will already be a great paragon of virtues, it will take time but you have to believe.
These women didn't understand that, did they? Christ had already risen but no one had yet perceived it, but they were going to bear witness to it. That is the process of faith. Many times things are taken, and it is by faith, not by sight. If you take what you are now you will never become everything God wants you to be.
If you take the circumstances, the difficulties, if you take the little you have now. That passage spoke to me this morning, my own preaching came to me to strengthen and bless me, because there are things that God speaks to our hearts and it takes time and you wait for it for years, and the temptation is to say: do you know what ? This is not for me anymore but God said it and God has to do it.
He predicted to Abraham at the age of 75 that he was going to have a son and he gave it to him at 100, and then he wanted to take it away, he did not want to take it away but he pretended to take it away and he gave it back again but that it is faith, that is why Abraham is the father of faith. So the resurrection and the power is a thing of faith, you have to move on. Let's leave it there.
The third point: resurrection power is not for the gifted but for the hardworking. Why am I saying this? because if you think about the story of the resurrection, the natural thing would have been, the script, the script of the movie would have demanded that the men were the ones who were there to witness the resurrection. My brothers, forgive me for a little moment here. That was the normal story of Jewish history and culture, and of the Jewish religion and everything, it was the men who had to be there to witness this and the priests, etc.
But it wasn't the men. We men were flattened and terrified thinking that the CIA was going to come and take us prisoner because the leader of our sect had been decapitated, destroyed. They were disheartened, discouraged, each one already said: let's go to our business and they were already fishing, they thought they had to go back to their chores because nothing had changed. But it is the women, the outcasts, the ones not gifted in this case because the Gospel is very detailed.
God wants to tell us that. And again and again, one of the great things about the Bible is that the insiders, the insiders, are not the ones who come to things, it is always the outsiders. God has a preference for the poor, the weak, the disqualified, the one who seems to have no resources or credentials. That is something that is repeated continuously.
Think of David, think of Gideon. There are so many passages, so many. God loves to surprise us by choosing the weakest, poorest, least qualified, least promising people. That is one of the constants, one of the constant values of Scripture. Because it is not with a sword or with an army but with My Power says the Lord. Victory is not for the strong nor for the most agile nor for the fastest says the Word of the Lord, it is for the one who moves in the Spirit of God, the one who earns the favor of God; The one who pays the price, the one who seeks the grace of the Lord, the one who enters into the secrets of power that has to do with a delivered heart and not with a gifted body, remember that, not even with an educational pedigree or anything similar.
These women had been with Jesus through the whole process and stayed with Him when everyone else had chickened out. So the Bible tells us that the Kingdom of heaven becomes strong and the brave are the ones who snatch it away. God has declared His Power but only those who take it by faith become partakers of that Power.
Many people believe right here among us, there are people who believe that they have nothing to offer the Lord. Some say: I don't have gifts, I don't go to seminaries, I don't speak English, I don't have money, I'm undocumented, I'm new to the Gospel, I have little education, I'm a single mother, I have too many problems, put what you want in there. Many people live brothers cooking in their own juice of incapacity, of disqualification, of a terrible and sad past, of few gifts, the inertia of life, the stone of life that they place on triumph and think: I can't. But the Word says surrender your weakness to the Lord and out of your weakness the Lord will bring forth something powerful.
Don't live in limitation, live in possibility. God glorifies himself in turning something small into something big. Everything depends on our faith and our willingness to believe. Don't look at your weaknesses, don't even look at what disqualifies you.
Look when Pedro, that captivates me every time I read it. The delicacy of God when the angel tells the women: "tell the disciples and Peter." Listen to me, what a detailed God. In the most sublime, greatest moment in the history of the universe, one of the moments of cosmic proportions in the universe, the heart of God is worrying about Peter who had failed the Lord and who thought: I am already disqualified, I can no longer aspire to walk again with my Master.
But the Lord says: do not worry. Your limitation does not disqualify you, on the contrary: it was necessary, it was a little sheet that had to be put in your record so that I could use you. Your disqualification is your qualification, your credential. Your impossibility opens the door for the possibility of God. Your limitation is what He needs in order for Him to glorify you. Your problem is the perfect platform for God to use to make you a witness to resurrection power in your life. Don't look at your limitations. Look at that father who rejoices in making the barren live in the family.
Finally with this I simply want to leave you before you go home, because the cuckoo is waiting for you outside, when you leave here they go out there waiting for you, you know? When you walk out that door there is going to be a little devil out there, there is going to be a little devil there telling you: now we are going to see what you are going to do with what Pastor Miranda says.
You are going to have to return to the conversation that you have there at work, you are going to have to return to your limitations, to your strong marriage, you are going to have to return to your disease that is staring you in the face to see if you are going to curse God and you will lie down to die; You are going to have to return to your difficult financial situation, you are going to have to return to give up your aspirations for a career that demands a lot from you; You are going to have to go back to your lack of qualifications that you need for the job or the raise to buy that house, you are going to go back to your undocumented status and wonder what Obama is going to do, if he is going to do it or not. do. You have to come back to reality.
These women from that glorious moment and from that tomb that reflected the power of God were going to have to get out of there, because the angel tells them: go now and testify to the disciples and Peter. In a sense it's like: look, don't stay here and make three stores, you don't have to come back now to say what has happened. You have to go back to people who are demoralized, tired and defeated and tell them: hey, get up because Christ is risen. They had to return to their tasks of life brothers.
And out there now families who need to hear that Christ has risen are waiting for them. In your work you have to testify, there are challenges ahead. You can't stay here in this beautiful place, everyone is well perfumed and bathed, no. You have to come back to life now and the Lord gives you some tasks, say that I have risen, live as if I have risen. Throw yourself back to work with those runny little boys over there that you take care of. Get to teaching those terrible teenagers who laugh at the teachers and with that incredulous system with which you work.
Start dealing with the challenges of your career, your courtship, your struggle with your mind and your emotional ties. The Lord says: go now but Christ goes before you, that is good. Says the Lord goes before you, the Lord awaits you, do you understand? The little devils are there but the Lord is out there ready to smack you so you can adjust.
The Lord goes with you, the Lord is within you. It says: the Lord goes before you. People of God, Congregation of Judah Christ goes before you. I am with you every day until the end of the world, no matter what demon rises against you, if the Lord is with you, no one is against you. Stronger is he who is in you than he who is in the world says the Word of the Lord and Christ is risen, glory to God. We honor the Lord.
There in your mind visualize a Christ of power who is next to you, behind you, in front of you, above you, grounding you as you walk. His Word surrounds you, His Glory is with you. God is with you like a powerful giant He is your support, He is the source of your strength, He justifies you, He walks ahead of you, He has purposes in your life. Do not live life like you do not deserve anything or you don't have anything, you are a prince, you are a princess of the Kingdom of God and God has made you for greatness.
Do not live like the poor or destitute who do not know the Lord. Young person, young woman, young man live at the height of the dignity that God has given you. Don't go around messing around. Live the destiny that God has for you. You have a great inheritance and God perceives some extraordinary things for your life. Now all you have to do is make it real with the power of the Holy Spirit and live the process as you walk more and more towards that grand vision that God has already declared that is yours.
But pay the price. Pay the price, believe that God has it for you. He's giving it to you. Now live it out and in that living it out you will have reasons to be strong and have a high self esteem because God and you together did it. God doesn't want everything for you, no He wants to put you in the drama. God puts in my heart now that young people, there's a lot of young people wasting their lives because they don't realize, christian even because they don't realize the grand state into which the resurrection of Christ has induced or brought them into.
You have to live to the height of your calling and your destiny and don't worry if you fall in the way and you get a couple smacks from the enemy, just get up, smack him back like declared in the power of God and then keep living that great life. You are a hero and heroes need to fight, heroes need to be wounded, heroes need to have some scars to show they are heroes. You know heroes don't have just smooth hands and smooth feet, no. Heroes need some wounds, sand on their feet and some wounds because that's what makes him a hero. God has some great things for you, now live it out; live out the process.
Live the process and develop God's process. Something wonderful awaits you, an adventure, God calls you on an adventure, the adventure of everything resurrected in the world. Let's just low our heads briefly and let's give a moment to dwell on that, let's just low our heads briefly on that. I live the power of the resurrection, the power is already mine.
I am going to live it by faith, not by vision, not by works, and I know that Christ goes before me. And I know that although I do not have the qualifications according to men, according to my mind God has told me that I am not garbage but I am like the apple of His eye, He has chosen me and has made me something special , and I'm going to live that.
I don't care what you've been through. Listen to me, if you have been through terrible things, the power of God can be manifested in your life. I don't know how He's going to do it, huh? simply refuse to declare yourself defeated, refuse to declare that the devil has defeated you, and embrace the glorious vision that God has for you.
