Threats against children and life

I want to connect the Christmas message that is already in us through this time that we are living with this tragedy that happened in Newtown - Connecticut. I know that the people of God need a Word of interpretation, a Word of teaching, a Word of strength and encouragement in the face of this tragedy. I tell you the truth I do not feel intimidated or frightened, I feel a terrible pain in my heart but the devil is defeated brother, the devil is under the feet of Jesus Christ.

He does this because he knows his time is short, you know. When the enemy is cornered he always does that, always then he takes off his mask and shows his dirty and contaminated nails, and his teeth that he always tries to keep hidden under decent and very rational clothing but when he is desperate he does these things like this I think this is an indication of defeat rather than victory for him, you know? And I hope that from this tragedy a desire will be born in many people to truly seek God and realize where we are and where we have arrived, and that is what I want to talk about.

But do you know something? that the Christmas story tells us about these things as well. And I want to unite the two things, a reflection on: the Christmas message along with an explanation of what has happened here in the United States in this tragedy and in other countries around the world where very similar things are happening, and also a Word of hope and call about what kind of life we have to live in the light of the Word.

So take a good look in Luke chapter 2 at the theme of the Child Jesus, of childhood, the infantile character of this almighty divine being that is Jesus Christ and who is born in the form of a baby, and that Scripture takes the time to develop with luxury details the gestation of Jesus in his mother's womb, his birth, his character as a baby and all other things. God took time to let us know that aspect because there is a message in that, in childhood, in the childlike character of the Son of God there is a message for us through the ages.

So it says here that, we go to verse 6 and it says here: "While they were there" Joseph and Mary in Nazareth, it says that: "While they were there the days of her delivery" of giving birth "completed and she gave birth to her firstborn son" the first son she had was called Jesus but it was not the last just in case, that's why her firstborn says, "she gave birth to her firstborn son" there is no firstborn by the way without a second or third but it is a Napita for you there, that's separate. "And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling clothes" the image of a baby, a little boy, "an infant wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the inn."

And then you say that you are talking about the shepherds, right? In verse 8 they see this Glory of God and God is interested that this little baby that is being born there in that totally inhospitable place does not go unnoticed. He wants people to know that a child has been born who is the Son of God and then, do you know the story? He appears to the shepherds.

And verse 10 says: "But the angel said to them, do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you tidings of great joy that will be for all the people, for a Savior has been born to you today in the city of David, who is Christ the Lord." Do you know that Christ was born to us? It was born to humanity, it was born to the family of the human race, it was born to us; He was not only born to God, he was also born to you, the Son of God, the newborn child who is Christ Jesus.

And it says here that in verse 12: "And this will be a sign for you: you will find the child wrapped in swaddling clothes" childhood, infant, baby "lying in a manger. And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising the God." Then we go further, the shepherds rush to go where this sacred baby is and in verse 16 it says that: "So they came in haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the child lying in the manger, and when they saw him they made known what that they had been told about the child, and all who heard it marveled at what the shepherds told them."

So then move on, right? We see later the childhood of Jesus, then in verse 21 it says that the child was presented in the temple and they took the child to be offered as the Mosaic Law prescribed. And there in the temple when the little boy is being presented there are two witnesses chosen by God. It is as if the nation of Israel itself is witnessing this because God is so clear in the way he does things. And there are two old men.

And I think that this is something interesting that I also want to point out and it is this: God is interested in babies and he is also interested in old people. Those who are beginning life and are fragile and those who are ending life and are also fragile, they are all precious to Him, you know? The elderly are precious to God as well and God wants them to be part of His sacred story. Do you also know that people with cognitive problems, children born with down syndrome, paralytics, with different types of cognitive limitations, the elderly are sacred to the Lord? People who have different kinds of cognitive limitations are sacred to the Lord.

The elderly are sacred, people who have different physical and mental disabilities, and cerebral and neurological disabilities are sacred, they are life, they have a soul, they reflect the image of God in some way and must be valued. So the Christmas story includes a fragile baby who got dirty, excuse the expression and that's why he needed diapers, and it also includes elders like Simeon and Anna that God reserves for them to bless their baby that has been born into the family of humanity. And the Lord rejoices in that blessing too.

That is why I want to talk to you about celebrating life in whatever form it comes and our Church has to be a Church of life, that celebrates life. I thank the Lord that allows us to defend life in many ways and when these little children come, for example, from different Latin American countries through the Ministry of Hands of Mercy, our sister Marta Garzón and we work with these little children who have been, and I talk about them like that freely because I don't think they're necessarily here today, they were here this morning, but when we get to work with these little kids who have been disfigured and in certain ways suffered different types of burns and all that, in our Church I say wow! what a great privilege we have to be able to bless these fellow creatures.

You don't realize how wonderful that is and how we are privileged as a Congregation to be able to work in a ministry as beautiful as that, and also with the people who are wandering out there, the people who are suffering from different types of of problems in their lives, that our Church can help with that, that is also a tremendous privilege because, I am going to tell you why in a moment, it is obvious but I want to talk to you about it.

But look at that, right? that Christmas includes those disabled people to a certain extent. Also the pastors who had a despicable job in the Middle Eastern culture, no one wanted to be a pastor because it is a culture, that was something very low and who does God choose to witness the birth of His baby? It is not the rich and the powerful but also the pastors and the elderly. Because it is that God is interested in life in its deepest and most powerful form, and that is why the Church of Christ has to love life and respect life, that is what we want to talk about more.

So look at that, right? Much of the Christmas story revolves around the image of a child, a baby, an infant, and wherever the announcement and proclamation of Christmas and the Christmas message appear, children are spoken of, and the infantile aspect of the Son of God. Isaiah chapter 9 verse 6 is one of the prophetic expressions centuries before Jesus was born, the prophet Isaiah in one of the most beautiful passages of the Old Testament that prophesies about the birth of the coming Messiah says Isaiah 9:6: "For a child He is born to us, a son is given to us."

So you see that God is interested not only in emphasizing the manly, manly, adult and mature aspect of His Son, but also the fragile, childish aspect, his childhood. Luke chapter 1 tells us the story of Zacharias and Ana, Elisabet, right? the birth of another son - John the Baptist. A couple that couldn't have children and God blesses them in their old age with a child too, right?

The Gospels tell us in great detail the angel's announcement about the birth of the Son of God. Mary's pregnancy is told to us in detail as the angel tells her: look, the spirit of God is going to come upon you, it is going to mysteriously fecundate you, it is going to give birth within you the very life of God and the germ of life What is going to be in you is not going to be the union of the life of a man and a woman, no; it is the life of God with the life of a member of the human race, a woman: Eve. Then the life of man and the life of God will unite and from that union will come a holy being who is the Son of God.

So that story is also given to us in a very beautiful way, isn't it?, the pregnancy of Mary, the birth of the child. And then the Christmas story also tells us about the childhood of Jesus, his presentation in the temple, the old Simeon who takes him in his hands and thanks God because before leaving, God has allowed him to see this hope for Israel and for all humanity.

And then later we are presented with the famous event of Jesus in the temple arguing with the doctors of the law, and the child a little older, the life of God more strengthened and more manifesting within Him and how He discusses and instructs, and perplexes the doctors of the law with His divinely inspired wisdom in Him.

The culture of the Bible brothers, the mentality that we see through the Scriptures is a culture that celebrates children, yes or no? To the children, to the children, to the family. And that is why I believe that God took so much time to introduce us to the baby, to the child, to the family of Mary and Joseph, the birth of another baby in the family of Elisabet and Zacharias and he indulges himself like a mother who takes photos of your baby and your son at different stages of his life, right? God took photos of His baby and gives us through the Christmas story different stages of the child. Because He wants to celebrate not only His manhood and His death on the cross but also His childhood because God is a loving dad, right?

So we see that the Bible, because the Bible is a culture, the father God who tells the story of the Bible in general celebrates children, celebrates children. Psalm 127 verses 3 through 5 declares: "Behold, children are an inheritance from the Lord." It says that: "A thing of esteem is the fruit of the womb." How nice. A matter of esteem, one would like to be a poet to say things like that, right?, a matter of esteem. The fruit of a woman's womb is something worthy of praise, it is something to be admired.

Today for many women brothers that is varicose veins and loss of figure, inconvenience and more money to spend and all these things, inopportune because my career, this and that. On the contrary, in this modern culture the fruit of the womb is seen as an inconvenience and they also get rid of the fruit of the womb. While the Bible in his mind says that children are something to be esteemed, something worthy of praise.

It says in verse 4 that: "As arrows are in the hand of the mighty, so are the children of the young." Children are a resource. A warrior knows that his arrows are his hope of life and defense in war. And so he says that for human beings children should be a resource, a blessing.

Children, young adults I beg you to notice this. God wants you to be a resource for your parents too and for your parents to see hope in you in your old age, don't throw your parents away like an old shoe when you get old, okay? Revere your parents and make sure that your parents can see you as if something happens to me in my old age I will have a son, a daughter who will defend me and protect me, who will bless me. Don't give in to this selfish culture that says, "You know what? I didn't ask for my dad, my mom to bring me to life so that's his or her business, take care of me because" I've heard youngsters to say that, you know?

The Bible says that children are a resource and a blessing. Now understand, there is a lot of cloth to cut there, parents should not exploit our children and live our lives through them, nor should we see them as an instrument for our personal agendas. But the Bible does say that children are a resource, it says that this is how children born in youth are.

Verse 5 says: "Blessed is the man, the woman," the culture, the society "that filled his quiver with them. What is the quiver? The quiver is where the warrior puts the arrows, the container for the arrows. It says: "Blessed is he who fills his quiver with them, he will not be ashamed when he speaks to the enemies at the gate." What a beautiful poetic image, right? It was the idea that in these cultures like the Old Testament, how good it was to have 3, 4 strong and big children there behind dad if he had a problem with the others, right?

How cute is that? And how nice it is when there are problems in life to have children around you, right? United families. Let me tell you something my brothers: when things get worse in humanity and they are going to get worse with time, the only thing that will save us is that families stay together, okay? That's why we have to protect our families. Parents and children must unite, siblings. We must do and our Church must be a family.

Tie yourself to four, six, eight, ten intimate people and love each other, as a Church we have to love each other more and more because when difficult times come and economically there are difficulties, you know what? A banana can be divided into four, six pieces and each one eats their little piece with a little bit of oil and whatever is there extra, a little piece of avocado and you already have everything you need, you know? When cultures unite brothers, when there is unity, everything is possible.

Knows? when a family is together, look, what is needed is to add a little more water to the soup and there is no problem, we throw it forward, right? and where one sleeps, four sleep, don't worry. So it's unity, that love is what preserves cultures and we shouldn't be afraid of it. We still have a lot that we could lose and our life would continue reasonable, all that we call needs are purely pleasures and preferences.

The cultures of the world many of them live with much less than what we live here and today we want to die because oh! the 38 or 50-inch HD television oh my fuse blew, now I have to look for another one and already two days without a television, a terrible thing. Brothers, there are much better things, more basic than that; that our family be a family of unity, there is love between the parents, the husband and the wife. That is the most important.

Biblical culture, the culture of the Bible loves the family, loves the children. He says that children are seen as a blessing. Parents rejoice in a biblical culture when a new creature comes into the world. And the Bible tells us about that over and over again; Anna, the mother of the prophet Samuel, was dying of grief because she could not have a child and that is why God heard her cry when she bled to death in the temple and after that he gave her other children, Samuel opened her womb and then she had more children because when God gives he gives abundantly let me tell you.

Psalms 113 verse 9 says that: "God makes the barren woman who rejoices in being the mother of children to live in a family." The Bible praises children, biblical culture, and any human culture that is based on the principles of God's Word is going to love children and family. Cultures that are not with God and His principles, that culture does not appreciate children.

However. We clearly see that the Christmas story celebrates the birth of two children to mothers who incidentally could not have children. It celebrates the birth of John the Baptist and also gives us in great detail his miraculous birth. So along with the Christmas story is this idea that children are born to families that couldn't have children. Mary for being a virgin, Elizabeth for being barren but God wanted to give these women children.

That is to say that my first point is that, right? that the Bible celebrates the family and celebrates children, and the Christmas story celebrates the childhood of Jesus Christ. But also brothers, the Christmas story tells us about another aspect of Christmas with respect to children. We are mentioned a sinister figure named Herod who threatened him, this king due to the birth and presence of a child who was going to reign, he did not understand that this king was not a political king. His reign was not really threatened by the child. Perhaps the evil in him was threatened but this boy was not going to compete with him politically, but Herod felt threatened by him.

And that is why he then wanted to kill and says that he ordered the killing of all children under the age of two who lived in Bethlehem and its surroundings. He wanted to be sure, he says that he must have been born between this time and this time, and to be sure I am going to kill everyone who is a little ahead and a little after.

Notice something interesting, right? That spirit of genocide, the spirit of genocide, of massacre and of death is born in any culture that turns away from the protection that Jesus, His blood and His cross provide. That happened in Germany in the 20th century when the Germans began to glorify the Nordic gods and the occult also spread in the Nazi spirit, the glorification of strength and power, and of the secular philosophy of superman, Nietzsche and others. , thus of strength and glory, and the power of a nation.

And then came the spirit of genocide, the spirit of death. They started killing people with emotional problems, insanity and different types of dementia. They killed everyone, they started killing the elderly, they started killing children who were born with birth defects, they started killing gypsies and homosexuals. All these things that they did not like began to destroy them because they only wanted perfection, the beauty of this Nordic race, this Ariana.

The Japanese also in World War II began to glorify the spirit of war, of strength, the spirit of the samurai, the spirit of the goddess of the sun and this Japanese goddess who is a goddess of death as well, and they began to celebrate those pagan gods. And when they took refuge in these gods who are gods of death, and wherever those gods have had strength and influence, look at it throughout all the centuries, the spirit of genocide and the spirit of death against children are born, and the spirit of slaughter and destruction.

And that spirit of death and genocide, and destruction, and by the way we Japanese talk about the Nazis but the Japanese were equally bloodthirsty, those people killed millions of people. The Americans dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki because they were so afraid of the Japanese that they didn't want to fight them hand-to-hand, and that's why they decided: we send them a bomb from 32,000 feet high and that way we don't have to deal with them hand to hand, because it was a demonic spirit that was in that nation.

Wherever the devilish spirit spreads and becomes strong, where the power of Jesus is not, His blood that defeated principalities and powers, forget that in that place the devil will have space to manifest his bloody spirit. And one of those who attack is children and the fragile, and the weak. Amalek, that demon spirit that is in the Old Testament, always begins with the weakest, look it up in the Bible, it always begins at the back, the elderly, the children, those who are behind the line. That's in the Bible in the Old Testament, Amalek is a figure of the devil.

And where the devil has his strength, in whatever clothing he manifests, you will always see that there is a spirit of death that seeks to kill everything that is weak, everything that is fragile, everything that is not very, very strong. And I tell you over and over again that the only thing that neutralizes that spirit of death is the power of Jesus Christ.

And that is what is happening in our culture here in Rocksberry, in Marapan, in Dorchester, in the South End in different ways, what is happening is precisely that this spirit of death is manifesting itself in different ways because it likes bleeding, he likes bloodshed, because that is what satisfies the evil spirit's hunger and thirst for death.

And that is why I tell you that we have to, in these coming months, what we have to say to the people in our neighborhoods is: take refuge in Jesus Christ because he is indeed capable of neutralizing the power of the devil, the only one. And for this reason, one of the things that Satan has wanted to do is remove prayer from the schools, because when a school system appeals to the blood and the name of Jesus, the demons do not have the strength to enter. But since the name of Jesus is removed, death comes and murder comes.

And that is what the devil wants, to get Christ out of cultures. That's why he wanted to gag, I'm already getting too far ahead in my sermon but it's okay, the Lord is going to pack it as He wants. What the devil wants is that the Churches and Christians in this time stop naming the only name that is above all names. When the Church abandons the name of Jesus and becomes decent, civil, tolerant, and in order not to offend one or two, it sacrifices ten thousand, then that is what the devil wants. And that is why he intimidates us, and that is why he emotionally bribes us so that we do not announce the name of Jesus, so that we do not announce the truth of Jesus because he knows that this is the only thing that can remove the blindfold from this society.

And the Church must not allow the devil to shut her mouth and gag her. We have to announce the name of Jesus and declare it in the streets, in the cities, in the neighborhoods, in the schools, in the universities, in the hospitals and tell the people that Christ is the only one capable of, that they take refuge in the name of Jesus because it is the only one that can protect the cultures, the communities, the neighborhoods, the streets, the buildings of our cities. And we must never let him take that weapon from us.

And he is going to try to do it with subtle doctrines of diversity and respect for diversity, and multicultural things, but that is the same diabolical lie of the serpent wanting to take away the only weapon that she has to heal the nations. We can't allow it.

So we see this right? that in the Bible in the Christmas story we are told about another aspect of Christmas with respect to children, and we are told that Herod orders these children to be killed and that mysterious Christmas being is there too. So we see that alongside the biblical culture that celebrates children and families, and protects children, there is also a parallel culture that despises and kills child life, that feels threatened in its own adult interests.

Herod is interested in continuing with his comfort, with his powers, his prerogative as dictator and king. When this child who represents life, hope, salvation is born, he wants to continue with his normal life as a dictator and a great man of great power and luxury, so he wants to kill the child, he wants to suppress him, right? Pharaoh in the Exodus account wanted to kill all the Jewish children before they were born. Another child genocide. Pharaoh ordered to kill all the Jewish children, why? Because he also wanted to preserve his political privileges. He felt threatened that those Jewish children might one day take away his authority.

The Jewish people were growing, they were becoming strong, the life of God was being born in the world through that little people and God had a redemptive plan for that Jewish people that was going to heal many throughout history, through of the Scriptures and of the birth of the Messiah who would come through the people of Israel, and he also wanted to kill that child Moses who was going to be born as a redeemer.

Today, once again, the Jewish people are being persecuted and these children, who knows who the devil wanted to kill? the Word of salvation. And he is also trying to kill and blind, and he rejoices, that is a holocaust, that is a sacrifice.

These children were not offered on a stone by a demon priest with a stone knife cutting out their hearts. He is not interested in how they die, he is interested in the bloodshed. So that is a holocaust, that is a satanic sacrifice. The devil uses a being possessed and damaged, and prepared by the culture of death and then a sacrifice is given, an offering of blood and life is given, and he rejoices in that smell of blood that comes from that sacrifice.

It is the spirit of death. It is the demonic spirit that this culture is giving more and more room for it to manifest. In our time there are also two cultures: a culture of life and a culture of death. There are people in our time who still celebrate and value life: children, the elderly. And they see children and that culture of life as a gift from God, they see life as something sacred that must be celebrated and respected at all costs as the Bible invites us to do, that is a culture of life.

But there is another culture of death in our time that sees life as something expendable. We take it or leave it, we take it or take it, something negotiable, something manipulable to be used according to convenience or circumstances, or the determinations of man and not of God. That culture by means of science examines and manipulates life with its microscopes, its phosphorescent lights and its other scientific instruments and arrogantly determines what it wants to do with that life.

Today man, as I said last Sunday, has obtained great control over human genetics. And that great control and that ability to examine the very structures, the very foundations of life through the study of cells, at the microscopic, biological, chemical, electronic level of the human body and that has decoded the genetic code, and that now You can even manipulate that genetic code. Man has discovered the grammar of life; So with that grammar he now wants to create very interesting scientific sentences and he wants to make his own story with the grammar of life.

He already knows: A-B-B-A-A-A-B-B, he already knows the vocabulary of genetics and so he now believes that he has the power. So this power that he has over human genetics and this increasing knowledge of how the human brain works and human neurology allows him to manipulate and do what he wants with it. So the man now, they say out there in English that: familiarity greets contempt. When you become familiar with something you know that you already lose respect for it.

That friend who fascinated you when you were just beginning to get to know each other, and after you have lived with him for too long, he becomes just another person. Because when you get acquainted with something you lose reverence. So modern man, as he is so familiar with life and with the sacred, the mysterious, the absolutely untouchable of life, already loses its force on man.

So today man should not surprise us when he says: this one is alive, this one is not, that one is important, the other one is not. That is what is going to grow in this nation. As this nation and the western world accumulate more and more strength and knowledge, life is going to become something very negotiable and very everyday, and very banal because man will already understand as he believes that life is simply something.

Brother, if you believe that you were born from a cosmic accident as science believes today, that you were not born from a monkey because before that you were simply a cosmic soup stuck there in the ocean and by chance an electric shock occurred and you were born something that later evolved to be this wonderful being that you and I are, if you believe that, then how important is life?

I sometimes wonder: how is it that people, these scientists, have the rational inconsistency of saying that life is sacred if its origins are so vain? Once you abandoned the idea that God created this phenomenon called man, woman, you are now on open ground, you know it's a free for all, it's a no man's land. So then you have to defend every little thing you say about being sacred, then nobody tells me why do I have to respect life, why not just make our own principles and ethical systems about who lives and who dies? ?.

Everything is free then. Why am I going to pay 500,000 dollars to preserve a deformed baby if with those 500,000 dollars I can feed 800 Africans or Latin Americans in a favela in Brazil or in a village in Africa unless one has no other grammar than life is sacred If God gives me that creature to bring it to life, why do so many doctors send a baby to abort simply because it has a birth defect? Because that is a burden on society and because modern man has that freedom, that freedom of him to choose.

While the society that loves life says: for me this is a mystery, I don't know what to do here. This is the life of God, I cannot kill it simply by a mathematical calculation of who is more and who is less. That is the thing that you see when you love life, you see that it is a mystery. And that little old man that you see there with his skin made into an almost transparent parchment is the life of God that is in him and I have to take care of him, and love him and protect him until the last second. Whereas if you simply make mathematical and scientific configurations that creature is a nuisance to society, you have to get rid of it as soon as possible. When man becomes all-powerful, he is the one who takes the virtue of making decisions and that is what leads to culture and that is the culture where we are. That is the culture that through science has become a teacher of life and that sees it as something ordinary. So we see many things.

How could a culture dedicate itself to killing thousands of people a day, practically brothers, like an efficient death machine? And then when they got used to it add another little more. Little by little this culture will kill the handicapped, it will kill the elderly. And then when a family can only have one child and a girl is born, what they want is a baby and they kill that girl, you know? or they abort it. Oh Church, I tell you personally, it will be something from my old age or whatever, I don't know, but for me, the Churches are only for young people, there is something that I think is wrong with that. I believe that the young, the old and the adults should be together blessing each other.

The young need the advice of the old and the old need the vigor and strength, and the joy and laughter of the young, and the cultures in the Churches must mix brothers. I personally do not recommend that any young person join a Church exclusively for young people with young Pastors. A Pastor can be young but these young people here eat each other, what those genes of youth do that also have their dangerous thing, what they do is that they make each other stronger and stronger and they do not have the wisdom that comes of time and experience, and of life's wounds, that gives people a certain wisdom. And they need to hear that too, and you need to listen to the old, the elderly and the adults to receive from them.

This is increasing in our culture and is another example of the culture of death in which we live.

The increasing massacres of children like what happened Friday at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, that's just another example of that culture of death that continues to grow more powerful, more palpable and less disguised in our time. Why are you surprised at what has happened there if this is what is to be expected from this culture of death?

I grieve in my soul. I forced myself this morning while preparing this sermon to read about this massacre for the first time because I didn't want to go into that abyss, it breaks my soul and I forced myself because I needed to inform you about it but my heart bleeds. Satan does not care about killing with a gun or with a law, or with a television program, or a movie, or a message through the internet, everything is death in different ways. Don't be surprised by a revolver because death comes in many forms, a pill, an accident, a fall in a ditch, a disease. The devil is the father of death and he manifests his energy as he pleases.

So I encourage you to sympathize with these people, but don't be surprised or go home at all, for what? This is what we are experiencing and seeing that connection between these different things and for us to reject it, and then live as people of light and truth, do you understand? But this is going to keep happening and it will happen in bigger ways until they realize which god they have made a pact with, and hopefully they will repent.

Meche and I are continually talking about how these attacks on children, these kidnappings and murders of children are becoming more and more frequent in our culture. God loves you but you need to repent brothers. A man who despises his children and his home, that person deserves God's punishment, forgive me for saying it that way. Life must be respected and God makes us parents for a reason and for a purpose, and we cannot neglect our children.

So we are seeing attacks, kidnappings, rapes, neglect of children because that is what the culture of death does. This modern culture has fallen into being a culture of death, do you know why? Because without realizing it many times they have abandoned the God of life and have fallen into the hands and under the control of the spirit of death called Satan.

The words of the prophet Jeremiah came to mind in Jeremiah chapter 2 verses 11 to 13 where God spoke to his nation the Israelites when they had turned away from Him and abandoned themselves to the culture of death and sacrifices to idols. and all these things and the Lord sends them through Jeremiah before taking them out of their nation and taking them into exile, in Jeremiah 2:11 it says: "Has any nation changed their gods though they are not gods?"

God was scandalized that that nation that knew Him the true God was exchanging him for a false god and death. And God says: "Where has anything like this been seen?" He says: "Yet My people have exchanged their glory for what is of no use." This nation has known the true God, yet it is turning away from that God. And what terrifies me the most is that the Evangelical Church itself in this nation is turning away from its God behind erroneous doctrines and is listening to the voice of the serpent and abandoning, and giving up all the things that can protect it to become more attractive to this culture of death.

And that is something that is also biblical, which is the apostasy that I was talking about last Sunday. But Jeremiah says: "My people have exchanged their glory for what they do not profit from" then says verse 12: "Amazing heavens about this and be horrified" in other words it says: heavens, earth because He calls heaven and earth as witnesses, and he says: contemplate this phenomenon, a nation that abandons the God of life for the god of death, the god of lies for the true God.

If you consider yourself a Christian, a child of God, a person who glorifies Jesus, His love, His Grace, His tenderness, His affirmation of life you should not be dancing or listening to any kind of music that glorifies violence, rape, sexuality that is not under the covering of God, disrespect for authority, killing of policemen, killing of anything, any life, any living being that is not of God and if you consume that you are communing with the spirit of death and darkness, and hell. You should stop it and should not do it.

And we in our homes should not again consume filth, pornography, things that glorify the spirit of the devil and that our children are later seeing those same things when they saw dad watching him at three in the morning, they got up to drink water or go to the bathroom.
