Summary: The speaker shares a message about where the construction of their new sanctuary is currently at, and how they are in the final stretch of completing it. They compare it to a marathon, where the last stretch is where the winner is decided, and they encourage the congregation to give their all in this final push. The speaker also cites the Apostle Paul's fundraising efforts as an example of how even great leaders in the Church have to sometimes put on the hat of project manager and talk about money. The goal is to complete the new sanctuary by the end of the year, and the speaker encourages the congregation to fulfill their commitments and promises to the Lord.

The Church of Jesus Christ has many different jobs, including working hard and talking about money. The Bible talks a lot about money, and the Lord Jesus Christ spoke continuously about money. It is a privilege to give to the Lord, and it is by grace that we give to Him. We are a blessing to the city with our example, and we must complete the work for the advancement of His kingdom. The Church has been able to offer the Lord a wonderful offering in a time of great economic tribulation. Giving to the Lord beyond our strength is where God glorifies Himself the most. There is nothing like living generously towards the Lord, and God takes care of our lives when we put His business first. It is a privilege to give for the Lord's service, and God loves a cheerful giver.

The speaker expresses gratitude to the congregation for their generosity and faithfulness in giving towards the building of a new temple. He emphasizes the importance of giving cheerfully and as a privilege to participate in the work of the Lord. While the project is nearing completion and the budget has remained steady, there is still a need to fulfill the remaining $500,000 in formal promises made by the congregation. The speaker encourages those who have made promises to complete their commitment and assures them that every contribution, formal or informal, is valued and appreciated. Overall, he is optimistic about the future and believes that the best times are ahead for the congregation.

The pastor is asking for donations to complete the construction of a church building. They have already raised $822,000 and need an additional $270,000. The bank has offered a short-term loan for this amount, but the church needs to promise to pay back $400,000. The pastor is asking for generous offerings and promises in faith to meet this promise to the bank. The additional funds are also needed for new chairs, carpet, and audiovisual equipment. The pastor encourages the congregation to conceive a vision of faith and make a generous offering to complete the project. Forms are available for making promises and donations. The pastor prays for God's blessings on the congregation and their giving.

I want to share with you a message that has to do with where we are right now in our construction stage. In November, I started looking in my calendar, the agenda, and I said, when was the last formal presentation to the congregation, you will remember that projection that I did, a powerpoint presentation, perhaps you will not remember much but you will They will remember a ship passing through the strait, right? People record images many times, they don't remember what one says, but the illustrations are remembered.

That ship, he was talking about, how this construction project was an extremely tight and demanding thing, and you will also remember the image of some runners, some marathon runners, who looked tired and drowned but kept going in the race. And that in November, I gave you some projections, some things, and I was telling you when we got to about five or four and a half months into construction, I was going to appear before you again to let you know where we were, and push and finally reach that goal, and I wanted to give you some projection, some things, we have reached that point thanks to the Lord, and with the help of the Lord we are planning to finish in December of this year, there are still four months of effort left.

It's like those marathon runners, if you've seen a marathon, the race is decided, let's say a marathon is 26 miles, 26 point something miles, and the race is generally decided in the last mile, and the great marathoners, those who are four or five, they go together, they go ahead, they wait for the last moment to give the final outbreak, and only that marathon runner, who has the capacity to give everything in the last stretch of the race, and prevail over pain, over agony, that his body is screaming stop, that is a matter of pure exceptional mental discipline, there is nothing there, simply the body has already given up, and everything is mind, decision, discipline, ability to resist pain, and the agony, that is what decides the race, that last stretch is everything, and there in that last stretch, these 4, 5, 6, 7 competitors give everything they have to reach the finish line, and the one who reached that point of giving everything takes the crown, the gold medal.

And that is where we are now, we are already in the final stretch and we need to give the Lord one last burst of energy, of consecration, of surrender, of everything we have to take that crown, that gold medal that is our sanctuary, Amen?, I want that to fill you with joy as it fills me by talking about it, honestly, I want this to be more of an encouraging word for you, and that none of you feel like oh, here we go again, no, we've been there for two years and something, we started, we broke ground, we broke ground, I don't know what it's called in Spanish, but we opened the work in July, two years ago, we're already at the end of August, and Frankly, if we manage to finish as we thought by December, this will have been the fastest work that we have undertaken, including this sanctuary that took us about three years and a bit. it took us three years this one here

And the one that seemed smaller and easier to do took much longer, but glory to God we also finished it, you and I, we the leaders of this Church have been working, we have been building for 17 years for the Glory of God. Every time people walk through one of those rooms and walk into the wonderful building next to us, they truly marvel at what God has allowed us to do through all these years, it's a glorious thing, in the middle of the city of Boston , our congregation directed and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we have been able to do something wonderful, these wonderful physical plants, we have been able to build them for the transformation of lives, for a glorious testimony throughout the city that redounds in glory for the Lord and in advances of the Gospel, young people are touched daily in this Church, families are reestablished and strengthened, children are founded on the Word of the Lord, from the mayor and governor of Massachusetts with whom we have met several times, to the representatives and senators of the city, and social agencies, school departments, and so on, have been impacted by the ministry and spiritual life that comes out of these places.

I always tell people that we do not build brick, cement and steel, we build the Temple of God, we build the Sanctuary of the Holy Spirit, places where God can dwell and from there distribute His Glory to the entire city. And this new sanctuary has actually taken us two years and a month to get here, and we hope with God's help to finish it by the end of this year. But we are already reaching the final stretch, and it is time for the athlete who is the Lion of Judah, to begin to break and make his way and leave the others, not competitors because we have no competitors, but this is for the last outbreak of energy where we give everything, to reach the goal.

And that is why I am here to tell you where we are, etc. But I want first, let's look at Omar, I just want to put in your mind images, graphics of the sanctuary, here are slides, from last year until now, they are all mixed up, but it will give you an idea of the space we have there, we are quite advanced, but you can have an idea of what this building is and its different stages, right? (begins a background music theme).

So look at this and let this serve to establish the bases, I dream of scaffolding, with bricks and cement, this is the open space here a few months ago, of the sanctuary, the balcony as you can see, it is already filling up with different things, systems and all that, but you can see more or less the perspective from above, you will remember that big stained glass window here and there are meetings that we constantly have about different things, cranes that are always doing work, they are finishing the fourth floor on the outside while we do other things on the inside, air conditioning ducts, heating, lighting, the transformer, which is what gives electrical life to the building, which is already in place, and we are doing electrical work, it is progressing very, very well, brother Carlos Beltrán, the Church's electrician, has done a job, Esmer his son, we have put scaffolding all over the building to raise the building system against fire, the ducts The air conditioning and heating systems are also being installed and in about six, seven weeks we hope to have all those ducts already installed throughout the building, many things that are being done all this time.

The main staircase in the front, which is already in place, is filled with cement, the steps, and shortly the glass will be placed around that part, exactly there, finishing closing the entire building with the necessary glass, they are manufacturing and they will come to install it shortly too. This is the platform that is already very advanced, it is already finished, but in its stage from a few weeks ago, a month and a half ago, there you are looking at the platform from above, the second floor, the sitting room on the fourth floor, which is also quite advanced. , we hope to finish that in about 3, 4 weeks too, seen from the inside towards the projects, one of the movie stars here Giovanni Chávez, the other one too, Javier Encinas, looks like a Martian from some planet, brother Roberto Naranjo too putting the parts of the sitting above, some images of our new sanctuary, we are continuing to the goal.

God has done a marvelous work, and let us also give applause to the brothers who have worked. The purpose of my presentation this afternoon, and to the brothers who visit us, I beg you to simply be witnesses of what God is doing in our congregation, and that we can see how it is that a complete congregation, works as ambitious as this one, but I want I address the family of León de Judá, those of us who feel committed to the future of our Church, what God wants to do here in our midst.

Before making a power point presentation, you can wait, if you already put the finished presentation, as you want, present the first page like this, without the computer issues, as we did this morning. So before I do this presentation, let me establish a biblical foundation for all this, I want to go with you to Second Corinthians chapter 8, Fanny, will you do me a favor, the little toy that is there? I need as much energy as possible, thanks to the ushers who are so kind. Second Corinthians chapter 8.

The apostle Paul was no stranger to financial projects, special offerings. Here in the 8th and 9th chapter of Second Corinthians, we see him writing to these congregations in Corinth, and he is encouraging them precisely to complete a fundraiser that had been started the previous year, and apparently he had written another one to them. letter, it actually seems that Paul wrote three letters to the Corinthians of which we only have two, why the Holy Spirit decided to leave only two? We do not know, perhaps the other was not doctrinally appropriate for our instruction.

Here in this letter from Second Corinthians he talks about when he wrote to you about this fundraising project for a special offering to be given to the brethren who were in need in Jerusalem, and this was a long-term project. , and he had mobilized all the Churches that he had planted, to give and collect this offering to take it to the mother Church that was in Jerusalem. So here in Second Corinthians he writes to the brothers of Corinth telling them brothers, I want you to prepare that offering well, so that when I go to collect it I will not be ashamed of you, I want you to decide what it is that I they are going to give to the Lord, that they make their commitment to the Lord firm, that they fulfill what they have promised so that when I send Timothy or when I go, everything is ready and we can collect that beautiful offering that we will then take to our brothers in Jerusalem for his work there.

So you see, the Apostle Paul was no stranger to these fundraising efforts, so this is where we pick up the narrative. Look at what chapter 8 of Second Corinthians says, it says: "Likewise, brothers, we let you know, the Grace of God that has been given to the Churches of Macedonia, that in great trial of tribulation, the abundance of their joy, and their deep poverty, they abounded in riches of generosity, for I bear witness that they have gladly given according to their strength and even beyond their strength, asking us with many prayers that we grant them the privilege of participating in this service for the saints, and not as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us by the will of God.So we exhort Titus, so that this work of grace may also finish among you just as he began before ."

Last verse: "Therefore, as you abound in everything, in faith, in word, in knowledge, in all solicitude and in your love for us, abound also in this grace", may the Lord bless his holy Word.

Let me extract a couple of thoughts as I say to support this teaching, first write this down, the great apostle Paul, writer of two thirds of the New Testament, a man who received extraordinary revelations from God, had absolutely exceptional encounters with the Holy Spirit , called directly by the Lord Jesus Christ, church planter, we see him here putting on the hat of project manager, and writing a letter to these brothers to collect an offering.

So, brothers, I say, sometimes I identify with the Apostle Paul as well, sometimes as a pastor I would like to dedicate myself only to teaching, prayer, the ministration of the Holy Spirit, simple and very sublime things, but sometimes to us as pastors And as servants of the Lord, we also have to put on the hat of doing the Lord's business, the simple, concrete things of work, the daily things of the work, and we sometimes have to call our congregations to give, and to keep pressing , that is what I do at this moment, I stand before you as simply one more servant of you to encourage you to complete what we have already started.

The Church of Jesus Christ has many different jobs, many different jobs that we do, not everything is just praying, singing, adore, sometimes we also have to work hard, sweat, and talk about money, many people complain that in the Church there is too much talk about money, well, the fault lies with the Bible, which talks so much about money, the Lord Jesus Christ spoke continuously about money, many of his parables were about money, God has wanted us to work with Him, in the advancement of his kingdom. And that is why I identify myself, thank God that Paul left us those models there, those precedents, that many times we have to talk about these things, because the Kingdom of God sometimes needs to talk about the Lord's business as well. .

So Paul says here: "Brothers, we make known to you the grace of God that has been given to the Macedonian Churches." Paul is using the churches of Macedonia, the church of Thessalonica, of Philippi, and he is saying look at those churches that have already given their offering, they have already completed what they promised, and let's learn from them, let's use their good example to encourage us too to give to the Lord. I tell you, my brothers, what we are doing is an inspiration to so many in the city, the things that the people of God do are not done for themselves, but are done for encouragement, to encourage others, right now we are encouraging many congregations to say wow, look how these people are giving, they are building this wonderful temple.

We are a blessing to the city simply with our example. Many brothers are encouraged by what we are doing, so remember that, we have a great cloud of witnesses around us, and we have to complete this work, because this work is already being and will be a great stimulus over time. for others, others will be watching us and they will also say, wow, if those from León de Judá did it, we can do it too, we are breaking the gap, we are establishing a precedent.

And Paul says look at those of Macedonia, how they have already prepared, and the grace of God moved in them. You know that if it weren't for the grace of God we wouldn't give anything, why? Because human nature is rather selfish, we withhold, keep for ourselves, in times like these of great scarcity, who wants to give for a visionary project? I believe that God has been the one who has moved your heart to give to the Lord, it is the grace of God moving. I always ask the Lord, Father, move, before giving this sermon I have been praying to the Lord so that my words serve only as a projectile filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, to touch your heart, touch your mind, so that you feel also that sense of commitment to me, to open your heart, so that you give and complete what you have promised, the grace of God. Do you know what a privilege it is to give to the Lord? And that is why God in his mercy gives us his Grace so that we give to the Lord, it is by grace that we give to Him, because He moves in us through His Grace.

Pablo says that these people have given a great test of tribulation, and we are undertaking this project in one of the times of most economic tribulation that this nation has experienced in recent years, many people have lost their jobs, the great crisis that is has given, right now in Europe, Spain is in crisis, Italy is in crisis, Greece, it can't get worse, countries that have been very prosperous like China are feeling the weight of this world recession right now. And how wonderful that in the midst of that time of great recession our Church has been able to offer the Lord this wonderful offering. You know you have given and you have given in one of the most difficult times in all of history, and I marvel at how the Lord has moved your hearts to continue giving to the Lord.

And I believe that when we give him in times of scarcity and tribulation, he is glorified like in no other way, because it is good to give to the Lord, amen. As that choir says, how nice it is to praise God when things go well for you, but if you praise him among your brokenness, that holy Christ glorifies himself within you. The Lord praised the widow's offering because the widow gave everything she had, and she saw those who gave much more than she did, but who gave out of their abundance and excess, and He said, before the Kingdom of God that only gave 75 cents for a cup of coffee, she has given more relatively than those who gave a thousand times more, because they gave from what they had and she gave from what she did not have, so I know that the Lord has chosen this time so that we give in part for Him to glorify Himself in times of great tribulation.

And you know what, I was telling the brothers this morning, that in these times of great financial scarcity, God has chosen this time for our advantage, why? Because many of these contractors and these companies, as I have told you before, they have been much more flexible now than before, and we have been able to achieve tremendous economies and savings, because this has been the time. Do you know that this building that we currently occupy and the land that we are building on right now, cost less than a studio next door, we bought this building, four stories, and 10,000 feet of land out here, for $235,000, In the year 92, why? Because there was a great recession at that time as well.

This building had been empty for several years, and when we offered that price to the owner, he said take it, and look what a blessing, today for $235,000 you don't buy the carpet that is on the floor, I'm exaggerating a bit. But what I want to tell you is that what is a crisis for others for the children of God is abundance and blessing, so God knows his things and the times in which He chooses. When the world was collapsing in the year 2008, you will remember in September when this crisis began, and the banks were going into crisis, one after another, it seemed that the world was going to end, that was when I had to come before you to start the financial campaign.

I told the Lord, Lord, do I close this or postpone it? . And Paul says that the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded in the riches of their generosity, he says the abundance of their joy, that is, the joy they feel of being saved, of having God, of being part of a redeemed family, to see their sins forgiven and to have a new reason to live, that joy was transmuted, changed into a natural, concrete offering for their brothers and for God.

Not everything is to praise, not everything is to feel joy, you have to transmit that, you have to change it in concrete works. We always adore the Lord with such passion, such ease, and I always say to the brothers, well, brother, take that energy that God has engendered in you and turn it into concrete works, works of holiness, fruits of justice, voluntary work for the Lord. , proclamation of the Word of God, service to the Lord and also giving for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

Paul also tells them in verse 7, "Therefore, as you abound in everything." He knows that we abound in everything, there is no lack of joy, there is no lack of praise, there is no lack of passion for God, miracles that God continually performs in times of intercession, our children who are growing up, going to Spain to study, the university, different things that God is doing in our midst. Paul says here: "As you all abound in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence in your love for us, abound also in this grace." And I also tell my brothers, since you abound in everything, so many beautiful things that God has placed in this congregation, the gifts of God do not diminish, they are not scarce, now I tell you also abound in this grace so that Let's finish our project. Like that athlete who is reaching the finish line, I encourage you in the name of the Lord to renew your covenant and give the Lord what is left so that we can finish our sanctuary.

Paul says that these people gave according to their strength and even beyond their strength, perhaps I am asking you to give a little beyond your strength, perhaps some have already fulfilled their promise, and perhaps I can tell you today what It seems to you if you give one last sprout of generosity to the Lord and give one last offering so that we can complete our sanctuary.

Do you know that it is in that area of giving to the Lord beyond strength where God glorifies himself the most? You have heard me give to the Lord in the zone of discomfort, and I believe that this is where the Lord works miracles in our finances, our families, our jobs. I tell you, if I wanted you to put your hand on my heart for a moment and feel the conviction that I feel when I tell you that there is no better way to live than with generosity for the things of God and for others. I have learned that the secret to joy, to mental health, to prosperity from God, to lightness of spirit and spirit, is when one learns to give, that is why Paul says that it is better to give than to receive.

There is nothing like living generously towards the Lord, brothers, that unleashes God's blessing, when you give you crucify the flesh, when you give you bind the devil himself, when you give you break the animal shell that asks, asks, You ask, you want to grab, grab, grab, and you become a divine creature that gives, as God gives, God is generous, God gives, God gave his Son without sparing. He says if we need wisdom, ask God who gives abundantly and without reproach, when God gives God gives generously, I have learned that there is no better way to live than how God lives, giving and giving himself. And when you give and forget yourself, then God remembers you and gives you everything you need.

My request always before the Lord is always Father, You take care of my finances, my health, my family, and I will take care of Your business, or putting it another way, I take care of Your business and You take care of my family, because you have to put first things first, first give to the Lord and God will take care of your life. There is nothing like living like this brothers, loosely, God knows how we do, I am speaking to you from personal experience, I am not telling you to do something that I have not done yet, and I could still give much more to the Lord, but learn to live generously towards God, give to the heavenly Father and God will not tire of blessing your life, I believe that, at least there are two or three who believe that, say amen, believe it in the name of the Lord.

You have to give beyond your strength. The widow of Sareta wanted to die now and eat one last mouthful of flour and oil with her son for now, she had no more left, hunger throughout the land, need throughout the land, lack, Elijah arrived directed by the Lord, He says give me that oil first, that flour, for me first, why for me first, was it selfish?, no. He represented the Kingdom of God there in that house, and he knew that by her taking that step of faith and making that sacrifice she was going to unleash God's provision, and he said give me first and you will not lack, and he knows that The Word says that while that great famine lasted in that woman's house there was no shortage of flour, there was no shortage of oil until the blessing came again to the earth, glory to the Lord.

He knows that brother God is perfectly capable of covering his children in times of lack and need. The Word says that in Egypt when there was darkness, and there were plagues and diseases, in the people of God, of Goshen, there was tranquility and there was peace, and God made an island of blessing around the Hebrews in Egypt while the rest of the Earth suffered need, hunger, death, darkness, and discomfort, and that happens. I have always believed that God is more than powerful to protect his children when they do what he tells them to do. I want to live by faith all my life, if God asks me for something I am going to give it to him, I hope so, be it my money, my life, talents, profession, whatever, because I know that nothing better than living in the perfect Will of God, giving to God and Him giving to me.

Then Paul says that they gave according to their strength and beyond their strength, they also say that they asked him with many pleas to grant them the privilege of participating in that service for the saints. Oh brothers, if God would one day give me the joy of seeing the brothers, pastor please leave me for that blessed temple, I need to deliver that check for 50,000 dollars, it is burning me, God willing that the day will come when you feel so passionate about The Lord that they say is a privilege, please Father give me the opportunity to give for you. Sometimes it is the opposite, people give reluctantly, but God loves a cheerful giver, God loves a person who knows that it is a great privilege to give to the Lord.

I want to raise up a people with the help of the Holy Spirit that considers it a privilege to give to the Lord. Because when it is done for the Lord, here it is not asking me to buy some crocodile skin shoes if they are still being made, I don't know, or a tie for 500 dollars, or put a jacuzzi in my house, or a vacation in Cancun , wherever, no, we are asking for the work of the Lord, so it is a privilege to work for the work of the Lord, not to magnify anyone or for vain or vain projects, but things that the Holy Spirit is saying I need them in this city for the coming revival, you are sowing for the great things that God wants to do.

I have not given up on this nation, I believe that the best times are ahead of us, and we are preparing the altar for the fire of God to fall on it, for that it is a privilege to give. So brothers therefore, as in everything you abound in faith, word, science, all solicitude, and in your love for us also abound in our grace.

I am silent here for a moment, I want to give you a small report and a very specific request that I have for you, I have titled this presentation reaching the finish line, the final effort, think of those runners already reaching the end of their career and there we are. The first thing I want to say is thank you, to my brothers and sisters who have given so generously, I stand here with a grateful heart. Many pastors sometimes undertake these stages of financial campaign with pain in their hearts, resentment because people do not give, threats, whipping, emotional manipulation to see if they can get three or four more dollars from people, I am here before you with gratitude in my heart, because you have been generous and faithful, you have given to the Lord in great trial and tribulation.

When this work is finished, this congregation will have given two million dollars, a little more perhaps, one million eight hundred thousand and something, so that I know, because there are several things that were lost in so much money that goes in and out and so many things, but you have certainly given, if we start counting from four, five years ago, six years when he started the designs and all this, you have given more than two million dollars, okay?, give the Lord a round of applause and yourselves too. Receive my gratitude, some people say oh pastor, do not thank people because that is the duty, no, God rejoices with cheerful givers, they honor the Lord, and I thank the Lord for participating in the advancement of their work, I give thanks to the brothers who have given generously, those who have fulfilled their promises in times of affliction, those who have suffered because they could not give everything and are still willing to give, the brothers who have gone beyond their promise and they said months ago pastor, I put my account number so that they can withdraw a certain amount of funds monthly, don't worry, leave it there, as we have done, I say we because I want to set an example for you too, I want to encourage you, not because boast or nothing.

We completed our promise a long time ago, but we are still there, one day I told the brothers, forget about it, until this is over, keep drawing from the account, and we have given an additional promise because we believe in the work of God and we have to be the first to set an example, so I thank the Lord for you, those who have fulfilled your promises, I would have wanted to personally go to your homes and eat a good meal with you, thank you for having completed your work and your promise to the Lord, we would have liked to send you a golden card, well written with beautiful calligraphy thanking you, unfortunately we have so many things to do, not enough staff, we send you a letter, a document or something like that, but please receive the gratitude of the leadership of this congregation to all of you who have given and completed your work, but there is still work ahead.

And I want to make a very important initial clarification, we are in a good situation right now, glory to the Lord, this presentation that I am making to you is in the context of a good moment. You know that I thought that for this date, precisely, things were going to be more critical than what they actually are right now. God has been generous. I've had fewer scares in this build than ten times stronger than the last two we've done. When we started this work I said I know that there are going to be moments of terror, that I am going to sweat the hell out, because something is going to happen, man of little faith, but you know that until now and so it will be until the end, the Glory of God has been manifested in this work and to a certain extent we will have even taken less time to do this larger work than the other two, this one took 3 and a half years, the other one took a much longer time than the process that We thought it would be easier, we have been doing this for two years in July and we have about 5 months of work left with the help of the Lord, and thank God it has gone quite well thinking that we are building a building that costs 10 million dollars per 4.3 million, imagine, 42% of the normal cost, this by estimates from contractors, architects, an estimating company that I asked for, 7 years ago they gave us an estimate, they gave us an estimate of 9.8 million dollars.

And Glory to God we've done this so we're in a good place. My request in front of you today stems from something positive, the negative scenario that I presented to you, I told you when the money from the bank arrives at this time that it will be finished, that it is about to end, now then we are going to have We have to pay everything out of our own pocket, we are going to have to get everything from somewhere, and I was hoping to come and tell you today, brothers, if you do not give 300,000, 400,000 to finish the project according to your promises that you have given, the building will not be done. , we are going to have to stop the work, that was my plan, and I thought but no, my Church is going to give, thank God that is not the situation that I am presenting to you, it is somewhat easier nowadays.

It is what I want to present to you, but you still need it. Now what I want to tell you is that this urgent, critical scenario has not materialized, another thing, thank God the budget has remained the same as when we started it, 4.2, 4.3 million dollars, incredible. When we started, we said this would probably increase a little more, the cost would go up because that happens with every project, and we expected it would increase, but incredibly, not incredibly, God is merciful and faithful, our budget It has remained at 4.27 million right now, it has not gone beyond that, that is what has been spent and will be spent, in total, in the construction of this building, that has not changed since November when I presented to you the scenario that we had financial, that has remained the same.

We have had more savings in construction costs than anticipated, with great faith I said that I was committed to getting cost reductions of about $300,000, we have significantly exceeded those savings since November here, God has been more than faithful and merciful with us, it's incredible, I'm going to give you just one example: in the manufacture of air conditioning, heating and ventilation pipes, the lowest estimate that we had received from a company was $70,000 for the manufacture of the pipes only, labor, labor or anything like that was not included, you know we got an estimate from a very good company, $35,000, exactly half, when we had almost committed to that company, God opened another door, and the hand of work, we will have saved more than 60,000, 70,000 dollars with the people who are doing an extraordinary job.

In fact, some Brazilian brothers, thank God for Brazil, very good, very dedicated to the Lord, who are doing an extraordinary job, so we have been able to save much more money than we also anticipated when I made the last report. Operational expenses, you tithe, offer, and we have continued with a fairly tight regime of expenses here in the Church, and all that we can from the regular economy of the Church we invest in the temple, and one of the things that I I have seen that, many brothers, aware that the Church is in a time of great financial need, give more generously. I think many of you have also said, I may not have made a formal promise to the Church, but I am going to give to the temple anyway, and they are giving to the Lord without being credited, and they are. Because many Latinos are not people who often truly make promises, some are so spiritual that they say, it's good that the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing, I'm never going to say that the Lord knows, this way, this way, right?, we are very spiritual many times, and then they give, they give generously, they are not given credit for it, but in reality they are giving for the construction work.

Other brothers finished their offering and continue to give, other brothers such as a dear sister of our Church, she has been here in the congregation for about 20 years, some time ago they received money that they did not expect, a lot of money, a lot of money, and immediately that sister came with her tithe and presented 22,000 dollars, she told me at the end of the service Pastor I want to talk to you, I was in a hurry, I can't right now, I want to give you something, oh sister, of course, come on a minute, it entered me an anointing of incredible pastoral generosity at that time, I invited me to the pastoral waiting room while I ate a little piece of cheese, what do you want? Pastor I have a little check, of course come sister, let's pray together, 22,000 dollars gave that sister for the work, and I say this I want to give it to the work of the Lord, glory to God for brothers like this, that is not recorded as part of the financial campaign but it is for the work of the sanctuary.

So we were able to use all that extra money here and there for operational expenses as well, and for the building. A negative detail, apparently negative, because I also understand what is happening, the collection of formal promises, we, the Church promised 1.4, almost a million and a half in promises, 3 years ago in February 2009 I think it was when we started the financial campaign, and so far we have raised about a million, there is still 500,000 dollars left, some may have left the Church, have moved, others have not had a job, the banks always know that not everything that was promised is collected, and that is why they always only give 70% of what is promised, because experience and statistics already tell them. If we had that 500,000 dollars, I assure you that this meditation and preaching would not be necessary, but the fact is that there is a need to complete what has been projected and what the bank projected as a combination church and bank.

But what I think has happened is that you have given in many other ways, God has blessed here, there is a person here who is not even from a Latino culture, that person gives, their tithe is tens of thousands of dollars every so often. number of time, and God has provided, and that person always tells me, put it for whatever you want, I asked if she wanted to give it to me but she said no, that it was for the Church (laughs), then, little sister a tithe for the servant of God even once, no brother that has to be, the fact is that that is also donated for the work, it is not recorded. What I want to say is that I understand what happens many times brothers, perhaps it has not been given formally and you have given it in other ways, but I do encourage those who have promised as Paul says, finish what you have promised .

You who have committed my brothers in the name of the Lord, give the Lord that final test, we take credit cards, coupons, everything you want, but give it, in some way, unspent tickets, give them to us and we will sell them for there, the point is that your car keys please come here at the end of the service (laughs). In the end, what matters is that the congregation has contributed healthily, I thank God, I am not here dissatisfied, thank God, but the fact is that we do need final money, to get out of this and so that I can leave to my house to sleep peacefully, enter a sanatorium to heal myself from the last three years, but we are already close to the goal.

Thank you Sir, this project has proceeded with a minimum of difficulties. I give glory to the Lord, frankly I am surprised and even scared, I say, is things going to change at some point?, but no, God forgive my little faith, I believe that there is a lot of prayer behind this, there is a lot of fasting, do not stop praying, prayer is the foundation of this project, I believe that God has heard so much prayer that he has risen up on behalf of the people of God and that is why he has covered us, and because this is for his Glory, I hope that that's how it will be until the end. Our target date continues to be December of this year with a lot of work and arduous effort to have our certificate of occupancy.

So here it is already concrete, the vast majority of this money is in sight and we know where it will come from, to finish this project of 4.27 million dollars we still have 1 million 92 dollars still to be built, still ahead, all the different aspects of the construction of the building, of that 1,090,000 dollars we already have 800,000 dollars, say glory to God. We already have part of that money in a bank from the Church, some 172,000 dollars comes from the money that the bank "owes" us in quotes from the loan, there is 100,000 dollars that I project that in the next 4 months we will receive as a complete offerings that you have already offered from the promises of the temple, and 150,000 dollars that the Church has already given for construction in the last month and a half, we are not going to ask the bank to reimburse us for that money, but we are going to donate it For the construction.

Total $822,000 that's pretty sure there, I wouldn't say there isn't much of a problem there. So if you take away $822,000 that's already planned, we're left with $270,000 that we need to finish. Brother, $270,000 of a $4.2 million project has been like three, four percent, do the math. So that's what we need, now look at this: when I made the projections in November before you, I thought that my goal, my obligation was going to be to come before you, and say brothers, we have to, within the next 2 months, produce 270,000 dollars out of their pockets, and it would have been very legitimate because we promised more than that, but we now have a more comfortable situation, and that is what I want to describe to you.

The bank, in a conversation that I had with them recently, has offered, because that was within the forecast of the loan, to give us that money in advance, that 270,000 dollars that we need for the final construction, the bank is willing to give it to us in advance as you have done with a part of the loan money to be paid in 3 years, that is called a short term loan, a short term loan, the rest of the loan is long term. So this loan to be paid in 3 years, those 270,000 dollars that we need to finish the construction with the rest of the money, it only requires that the Church promise, we make promises to the bank, what happens is that the bank, as I told you, it only gives 70% of what the Church promises, that is, to have 270,000 mathematicians here, you know that the Church needs to promise, even formally, 400,000 dollars, 70% of 400,000 is 280, and we need 270,000, so they are promises, I tell the brothers to make promises in faith, because I know that we are going to pay it, I do not have the time to describe all the details, believe the prophets of the Lord and you will be prosperous says the Word.

And I am not believing this mystically or anything, I live swimming in these numbers, I assure you, and up to now, thanks to the Lord, all the forecasts that we have made have been fulfilled, I feel confident mathematically and in the Lord, that we can pay that loan, but the Church is required to make promises in faith, that's all, promises in faith, and how are we going to pay it back, the Lord is going to help us, there is no problem, the advantage is that we can have that money now Instead of you producing that money right now, we say we are going to produce it in the next three years and we are going to pay it that way, they give us the money in advance, and that short-term payment starts in January 2013, So there you see, 70% of 400,000 is 270,000 that we need more or less.

So the advantage, we do not have to supply the money in front, the bank that money plus another part of short-term money that we have already spent that we pay it in three years, and what I want to ask you my brothers, is that you conceive in your spirit a vision of faith, and may your hearts be motivated, as mine have been on fire, so that nothing is missing for this project. That my brothers do everything possible, the next month, month and a half, many of you, dozens and dozens of you, I want to give an offering of a thousand dollars for not only the completion of the sanctuary, so that the Church may not even to use that money, but also that we can have money for new chairs, that sanctuary we are going to have to buy more than a thousand chairs, a new carpet, that is not needed for the completion of the building but for you to sit unless we are going to be standing all the time in the restrooms, we need chairs, we need a sound system that can encompass that huge sanctuary as well, we want an excellent audiovisual system, some projectors, this projector reaches twenty feet, we need a projector there that can reach 80 feet of distance or more, so there are so many extra expenses ahead of us apart from finishing the construction itself.

So the Church needs a good support and a mattress, and I want to encourage you in the name of the Lord, dear brothers, Lion of Judah, lions of the Lord, that you conceive in your heart, I am going to give my Church an offering of a thousand dollars, I even tremble to open an alternative door because then people say oh, I can give less, if you want to give more, glory to the Lord, if you cannot give a thousand dollars be generous, of the maximum offering that you I can, and we are going to fill the coffers of this sanctuary until it overflows, brothers, that we can open, invite that building, invite the Christian community of all of Boston, invite the mayor, and even the governor, to come and witness what the people of God does in times of scarcity.

I see one or two weeks of continuous celebration, I see people sleeping there day after day 24 hours saturating those walls with prayer and holy ointment to spiritually activate that sanctuary, and I see people from all over coming there to that sanctuary to receive a impartation of the power of God, but that requires that the people of God prepare themselves, I want to encourage them, conceive that generous offering, so that the Church has a wealth there that it can use to finish, and also for the purpose of the bank, I only I ask you to make a promise and don't worry, I'm going to say irresponsibly, because I need to present promises to the bank on your behalf, and I know that those promises are going to be paid one way or another, but I need brothers to say, you know what Pastor, I am going to offer madly, I am speaking here in code but don't worry, make a generous, broad, bold, generous offering, whatever you want to call it, in faith, and the Lord will allow us, don't worry, éc The burden is on me, the Bible says it is better not to promise than to promise and not fulfill, I tell you for our best promise than not to promise, that is the Bible according to Roberto Miranda, the 2012 version where we are, right? ? (laughs).

No, for this purpose I need people who say I am going to give my promise, and I am going to give this money, and I am also going to make a promise in the name of the Lord, and be it through you giving your offering more generously or complying with it directly, do that part, and do not worry that we are in good territory, we are going to reach the goal, and the last thing I say, I have made this presentation as a prelude to my brother deacons and other people, leaders, who are going to be talking to you in these next few days to give that last awareness by giving you the panoramic presentation, okay? But hopefully, this morning we had a very nice reaction from the brothers, and God blessed, and we have with us some special forms adjusted for this phase of the campaign, they are here, and what I am going to ask you is to take a of those, if you can, several brothers this morning gave their checks, glory to God, if you did not come prepared and obviously this catches you by surprise, we did not even give an advance, but take one of these and make a promise today, now yourself, in your heart, in your spirit with God directly, and do not depart from that promise if not conceive it there, and if you can give that amount of money it would be a great blessing.

And then promise in the name of the Lord, think about the bank that needs this simply, they want those promises for them to release that money, and they are very generous, very open, but it is a formality that is required for reasons of the contract that we have with them, the only way that they can release that money is by giving 70% of the promises that are presented to them and they are very generous, and very open about it, okay? So there will be ushers and deacons who are here, ready, your deacons, your leaders, have already committed, we have committed, and some of them are going to be speaking with my brothers, I leave that there in your spirit, will you? amen?.

Lower your head for a moment, close your eyes, receive this impartation from the Lord, I plant a seed of faith in your spirit, Jehovah is my shepherd, I will lack nothing, the Lord will open the way for me, he will provide for me, when I am generous with Him , He will not fall short, his faithfulness is forever, your generations will be blessed, your family will be blessed, your body, your life, your finances, your work, your path, your children will be blessed, God's future will be realized in give your life, give to the Lord, give to his ministry, give to his projects, give to his Church, give to his missions and you will never lack it, God will open a great opening, a great path through which his Grace flows, his blessing to your life.

Father in the name of Jesus, that these words do not fall to the ground, that all the effort that has been made, all that has been agonized in front of you, all the prayers that have been raised come to their full realization, I ask you that This morning, this afternoon, Lord, have a spirit of celebration in your children, may they be fertilized by you, and may this be a moment of sublime praise and adoration for you. Thank you, thank you Lord, that we delight in seeing Your Glory as we have seen up to now. Bless Your people Father and open the windows of heaven so that a prosperous, blessed, exemplary, inspiring people may come into manifestation, for this city and this nation and to you we will always give all the glory and all the honor, in the name of Jesus , Amen and amen. Brothers, God bless you.
