Summary: In John chapter 10, Jesus declares himself as the door and the good shepherd. He emphasizes that only those who enter through Him will be saved and have access to the Father. Though there are many other religions in the world, Christianity believes that only in Christ is there salvation. Jesus also explains that He entered through the door that the Father provided for Him, which legitimized Him as the true shepherd. The close relationship between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is what gives Jesus Christ the authority to lead and guide His followers. Ultimately, the call is to surrender our will and pride to Him and submit to Him as the door to eternal life.
Christ is the only door to salvation and He is the cornerstone of our faith. No one can enter through any other means, and those who offer salvation through other means are thieves and robbers. It is essential to focus on Christ alone and use Him as the doorway to a life of relationship with God. There may be questions about what happens to those who have never heard of Christ, but the Bible suggests they will be judged according to the reference point they knew and will have to prove they lived a life consistent with that system. Ultimately, it is important to surrender our will and pride and submit to Christ as the only means of salvation.
The speaker discusses the concept of accepting Jesus Christ as the door to the Father in practical terms. He explains that accepting Christ means being saved and having eternal life. Additionally, Christ provides support and guidance for everyday struggles and challenges. The speaker encourages listeners to trust in Christ for rest, nourishment, and strength. Overall, he emphasizes the importance of spreading the message of Christ to others and living a life consistent with that belief.
I wanted to choose this morning, I hope directed by the Lord, one of those basic, fundamental texts of the Bible, sometimes it is good to focus on Jesus, simply on Jesus. We can talk a lot around Jesus, but how good it is from time to time to put our eyes directly on his person, to listen to him speaking in the pages of the Gospel, to listen to him speaking like this to our hearts, our lives, and to meditate on him, specifically in Jesus Christ, what He is for us, his salvific nature, his unique character as the foundation of our life.
So I invite you to go to the Gospel according to Saint John, John chapter 10, a fundamental passage of the Word of God, and in this year of definition one of the things that we have to remember is that only in Christ is there salvation. We are one of those who believe, I was thinking of that choir by my friend Jessie González, we are one of those who believe that there is salvation only in Christ. And a church has to emphasize that at a time when many people are abandoning that idea in subtle ways, we don't insist enough that only Christ gives access to the Father, only in Christ is there salvation.
I have a lot of respect for other religions, I respect Muslims who are so clear in their faith, if we had half the commitment that these people have to their religion, listen to me, I think Christianity would be different, these people are willing to die and kill for their faith and they are serious, honest, hard-working people, who often live what they preach. I think there are other religions in the world, the Hindus, the Buddhists, the confusionists, so many other groups, those who follow Sun Myung Moon, the Jehovah's Witnesses, the Mormons, right now we have a candidate for the Mormon presidency. There are many good people, sincere in their faith, in these different religions.
And sometimes it is difficult for us to say that only in Christ, only in Christ is there salvation. And many people would accuse us of being fanatics and being ignorant, how is it possible that in a world where there are so many religions, millions of Muslims for example in the world right now, there are hundreds of millions of followers of Confucius, or of Buddha, or of the Hinduism, with all its different gods, and how is it possible that only one religion is the true one, and in a world in which one sees so many different aspects on television, so many different spiritualities, and one there clinging to that central doctrine that only in Christ there is salvation, sometimes one falters a little, right? And the more one is immersed in the world of telecommunications, the internet, as what is required today to remain planted in that central doctrine of Christianity, that Christ is the only means of access to the Father and to eternal life, at least to eternal life wherever heaven is, eternity with God, salvation as we say.
Then it is important to strengthen the conviction of the children of God, yours and mine, proclaiming that central element of the Christian faith, that only in Christ there is salvation and eternal life. It is important to strengthen the faith of the saints in this time when it is being contradicted and attacked in so many ways, that is what I want to do this morning, this Church will always declare that only in Christ is there salvation, only in Him is there eternal life and access to the Father and we will cling to that doctrine, with love, with faith, with humility, but also firmly, with clarity, with conviction, and that will be the starting point of everything we do in the end.
In this passage we hear the voice of Christ as rarely in the gospel, the same founder of our faith, the Son of God, tell us something about that, of whom He is, the only thing, the uniqueness of his conciliatory function, or Christ He was wrong, or he was crazy and he believed that he was more than what he was, or he was right and he is the only one who gives access to the Father. So in verse 10, the Lord begins with a very solemn declaration, when you hear Jesus say truly, pay attention, your little ears perk, because it's important to hear what He's saying: "Verily, verily, we I mean, the one who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but goes up by another part", what does another part mean?, a part4 that is not Jesus Christ, who wants to go up by another part, that is a a thief, a robber, the Caribbean came out of Jesus Christ, so sometimes people complain about us Christians that we are sometimes very strong, who are you to say this, look at the Bible speaks clearly, whoever wants to be subtle and be happy to everyone and have everyone happy and how to be there between two waters, and be like a chameleon, wherever you are well then, no not here it says that.
Look, the one who wants to enter through another door is a robber, he's a thief, he says that's not me, it's not that I didn't eat the Corn Flakes this morning and I'm hungry, I'm upset, no, he's a thief, a robber , "but he who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep." He's also talking about himself there, isn't he? He's talking about the pastor there. Now says the one who enters through the door, that is interesting, because I am going to tell you a little about that, there are two doors, one door is the Father and the other door is the Son, the Son enters through the door that the Father He provides for you and then He establishes Himself as the gate for the sheep, don't worry too much, I'm going to teach you what that means in a moment.
"And he calls his sheep by name and leads them out, and when he has brought out all his own" his, "he goes before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice, but they will not follow a stranger unless they they will flee from him, because they do not know strangers." This allegory, as a comparison, a metaphor, a comparison, this allegory was said by Jesus, but they did not understand what he meant, today we are very familiar with these images, but at that moment what He was saying was strange for people who I didn't even have an understanding of who Jesus was, but here the Lord enters more fully, says since they didn't understand him well, he wanted to be more clear: "Verily, verily I say to you, I am the door of the sheep", underline that in your Bible when you can.
I am the door, not a possible door, I am the door. That is the definite article, grammatically speaking, "I am the door of the sheep, all those who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them" and he repeated it again just in case they did not hear it, " I am the door, whoever enters through me will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture." Verse 11: "I am the good shepherd, the good shepherd lays down his life for his sheep." Verse 14: "I am the good shepherd and I know my sheep, and mine know me." Glory to God, what a beautiful passage, right? That renews us, in that essential conviction that Jesus Christ is the good shepherd.
I know that some of you felt uneasy when I used the image of chickens some time ago, and I was talking about how sometimes I encouraged you for a moment to abandon the allegory of the sheep and the shepherd, the metaphor, the allegory. of the shepherd and the sheep, and my sermon was the Church, fold or chicken coop? I know that some of you went home upset with me, right? But I would tell you sometimes that it is good to look at things in another way to see what kind of illustration, what kind of illumination can be drawn from it, and a lot is drawn from it in a comparison, I told you that's just for a moment, then let's go back to the image of the shepherd, because there is no image more beautiful than the image of the shepherd and the sheep, frankly.
Yes, I love the image of the shepherd, the Bible is full of images, Jehovah is my shepherd, I will lack nothing, so there is nothing that compares to the image of the shepherd and the good shepherd, the sheep, so I can go back to that, because that is the beauty of the Bible, that one can jump and use, everything is ours, the world is ours in Christ Jesus. So I think that is definitely beautiful, from passages like this we take the image of the Church as a fold of sheep, and Christ as our Shepherd and the male and female shepherds are the shepherds with a small p.
So in verse 2, I'm going to say this simply as a prelude, sorry in verse 1 it says: "Whoever does not enter the sheepfold by the door but enters another way, he is a thief and a robber, but He who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep." You notice here that the Lord is not necessarily talking about us, going up and entering, but rather that he is saying that the shepherd who enters through the right door, that is the true shepherd of the sheep, he says I enter through that door, now Through which door did Jesus enter the world? And through which door did He establish Himself as Shepherd? Have you thought about that theologically? Do you know which door Christ entered through? The Father , the Father himself assigned to Jesus his legitimacy as Shepherd of humanity and of the Church.
Because we know a voice came from heaven, the Holy Spirit came in the form of a dove and settled on Him and a voice was heard that said, this is my beloved Son, remember? And if you look in Luke chapter 9, in the passage when the Lord is transformed on the mount of transfiguration, on the day of the transfiguration it says that a voice was heard, also hear him, that voice was heard, this is my beloved Son , listen to Him, and on the day of baptism also a voice that said this is my beloved Son, in Him I am pleased.
The Lord Jesus Christ always declared that He was on Earth because his Father had sent him and had legitimized him, and the Lord said, I never say anything about myself, but what I hear from the Father, that is what I I announce to you. The Lord Jesus Christ declared his total subjection in his incarnate form to the heavenly Father, there was a direct relationship between the Father and the Son, and in fact the Son was also empowered and strengthened by the Holy Spirit who guided him in everything, and that is why he says that Jesus full of the Holy Spirit went to the desert for example, and when He stops in His first public appearance He says the Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to do this and to do that.
Then the Lord did not claim authority alone, He was not a lone ranger, He was subject to the Father and was also filled with the Holy Spirit, in Him the Trinity dwelt in perfect harmony. That close relationship with the Father, the Father gives Jesus Christ authority, so all the creators of different religions, be it Sun Myung Moon, cannot claim, they can say that they heard an angel or whatever, but we believe that because the Lord Jesus Christ came down, was subjected to the Father, as another passage says Philippians 2:5 to 11, "Do not have in you the same feeling that there was in Christ Jesus who, being equal to God, did not take being equal to God as something to cling to, if not that he humbled himself, he submitted to the Father and for that reason God gave him a name above all names, so that at his name every knee should bow in heaven, on earth and under the earth ."
So what Christ is saying is hey, I have the letter of authority that the Father gives me, I enter through the right door, I have all the authority of God within me, and therefore I can say I have subjected myself to the Father, and then you can submit to me, because ultimately the call is to receive Christ, to accept him as the door, the truth, the life, this requires that we surrender our will, our pride and submit to Him , as He is subject to the Father, and ultimately that is what gives us life, using Him as the door, going in and out through Him, living our life in Him and for Him.
A door is that, it is what gives you access to something, if I want to enter that room, I cannot enter through here or through the wall, I have to go through the door, and if I want to leave that room I have to to walk out the door. So I believe that when we see Christ as the door, that means that we are going to live our whole life in terms of Him, that everything we do, to which we wish to have access, is a profession that gives us life. gives us joy, be it a marriage that works as it should, be it paternity or maternity with our children that allows us to be good parents, good husbands, good mothers, we are going to have to live everything through the wisdom that Christ gives , that we are not going to dare to enter any place without first going through Him or going out through Him.
How good when we see Christ like this, he is the door to any dimension we want to enter or leave, because He did it too, He did the same, He subjected Himself to the Father, He lived it, He did it through the Father, His Authority came from the Father, so he said the Father says that you have to consider me the door, just as the Father was the door to come into the world, so I am the door, that is important for us to understand. A lot of people don't want to go through that process of going in and out of a single door, they want to create doors of their own invention, and in the long run that leads to disaster, it leads to a life lived counterproductively, men don't want to be subject to that, and The Bible tells us as Christians we have to understand that, if you want to have true happiness, if you want to be able to do great things in life and live a full life, go through the door, enter through the door that is Christ. Jesus.
Now, one of the things that strikes me about this passage is that Christ is speaking in absolute terms, as I said, yes, no, white, black, everything, nothing, here there is no uncertainty or room for subtle distinctions or asterisks. The one who was to save humanity could only do so if he received authority from the Father, then He is the only one who can also serve as a door, when Christ enters through the door that is the Father, He becomes the only door through which man can pass to have fellowship with God.
What does Acts chapter 4, verse 12 say, another of those clear passages that you have to be very clear about in your life, in your spirituality, it says: "This Jesus is the stone rejected by you, the builders", Peter is speaking to you in one of his first speeches to the Jews on the day of Pentecost, and then he says to them: "That stone that you rejected is He, which has become the head of the corner", what does Peter mean by saying that Jesus is the head of the corner? angle? There are many interpretations, but the one I like the most is that when a temple or a building was going to be built, it was always placed, the cornerstone is also spoken, which served as a starting point, it was like in a corner, a cornerstone and everything came out of that stone, if that stone was well located, well placed, the building would take its shape, it was in the same corner, the first corner.
I learned that, for example, that if you don't start in a building like this, if there's a little bit of an improper angle, the whole building is going to be out of place, it's going to be difficult, that's why very precise instruments are used today. nowadays to measure exactly the beginning of the thing, that's essential in a building, because later when you want to put the walls and everything is a nightmare, so you better start off right, so that cornerstone was key, in that time. So what Peter is saying here is that Christ, who was rejected by the Jews and by the first who heard him, God has made him the cornerstone, is the stone that begins it and defines everything.
Look at what verse 12 says: "And in no other", say with me in no other, "in no other is there salvation, because there is no other name in heaven given among men by which we can be saved." That is not what I say, the Word of God says that, or the Word of God is wrong or it is true and I have to submit to it, there is no other place. So that is why the Church clearly says, Jesus Christ is, it is an absolute language, there are many pious, God-fearing people who want to know Him and humble themselves before Him, but God has provided a clear and simple way to get closer to Him, and that The way is by accepting Christ as the door, recognizing him as the only one who can save and provide peace with God.
Christ says that all those who came before Him are thieves and robbers, it is strong language but it indicates a truth, everyone who says that there is another name, another means to obtain salvation is stealing the authority of his Son, and in that sense is a thief and a robber, Jesus Christ says the authority is mine, the uniqueness is mine, and if someone else comes around and says no, Muhammad too, Confucius too, he is robbing the Son of his authority, he knows that but there is another Another thing is that when a person offers salvation by means other than the means that God has established, he is also robbing the person to whom he is saying it, because that person then puts his faith in something fictitious, and He is robbing you of the possibility of being saved and of having eternal life.
There are many people who are placing their hope, their trust for life in other means, and those who have taken them there have a double trial, a double charge on their lives, because they are sending many souls to hell, under a fictitious hope of salvation, they are also stealing from others, they are pretentious, so Jesus is very clear when he says anyone else who offers salvation by any other means is a thief, a robber, and I believe that when the Church refuses to preach in these clear terms He is also robbing the people, when a pastor stops preaching Christ as salvation, the name above all names, the only one that provides eternal life, he is also robbing his people of a source of vitality and clarity.
Because I believe that to the extent that Christ becomes the center of our life, the name we use to come to the heavenly Father, our spirituality will be stronger, more secure. For example, I love the Catholic Church, you have heard me talk about the Catholic brothers, and I know that sometimes I put a little burden on myself because there are people who don't, the Catholic Church, what do I know, no, I think that The Catholic Church is a Christian Church, with serious errors and things with which I agree, but there are many sincere people, it is a solid Church, I respect it, but I also want to tell you something, that when the Catholic Church tells people pray to Mary, put your faith in Mary, Mary the Mother of God, they have made Mary more important than Christ, because they say that Mary is the access to Christ and Christ to the Father.
So there are many very sincere Catholics who pray to Mary, and everything is Mary, and so we are robbing those people of the possibility of putting their faith in Christ alone. Christ does not say pray to Mary, he says pray to the Father through me, so I believe that when many people put their energy in Mary and pray to Mary, all that energy could be put on Jesus and their faith would be much more powerful, then I I think the Church always has to look at Jesus, look at Christ says as the Jews when they looked at the bronze serpent when they were being bitten by snakes in the desert, and God told Moses make a bronze serpent and that look at the serpent so that when you look at it you will be saved, a bronze serpent, a statue.
Listen to how desperately people must have seen, if a snake is biting you they say we're going to put something there and you're going to be saved, listen to me your eyes are going to pop out of their sockets to make sure you got a good look at it. So the Bible says how the Jews looked at the serpent in the desert, so we have to look at Him, the Bible says consider the one who suffered such a contradiction of sinners so that your spirits do not get tired, who is he? Jesus Christ, they say Greek scholars that this word consider means look at him so fixedly that they cannot see anything but Him alone, then the Church has to look at Jesus, use Jesus in your prayers, focus on him, dust him off every two or three weeks, because sometimes Jesus becomes so central that we don't even see him anymore, you know how sometimes in the houses the family has photos of dad when he was young, and with the passing of the years they don't even see dad anymore, now with Over the years it became just another decoration, it's already so present that they don't even see it.
That's what happens with Jesus, he becomes like the center and we barely mention him anymore, but you have to come back and say, Lord, I'll focus again, you are the Son of God, my Christ and my Lord, my Savior, that's what I want to do this morning. I want to invite you to look only at Him, all the other elements that can offer salvation, there is no other door, Christ is the Savior of humanity.
Brothers, some could say, and how can someone who does not harm anyone, who is sincere in their faith? That Mormon who believes, for example, in what they have been taught, that Muslim there in Pakistan or wherever believing in Muhammad? how can he go to hell? The Bible says no matter how many works you do, no matter how pious and sincere you are, that is not enough to allow you access to the Kingdom of God, which is perfect and totally pure and beautiful, there will always be sin in us, no matter how good that we are, and what the Bible says that the only one who can forgive our sins and give us that perfection assigned to us is Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 64:6 says: "All of us are like dirt, and all our righteousness like filthy rags.", that is, if a person does not have the healing and perfection that only Christ can give them, they should not dress because they do not go, they do not there is nothing that man can do by himself to have access to the presence of God, everyone has to go through Christ, says I am the door, whoever enters through me will be saved, whoever believes that there is another means of salvation than unless Jesus Christ makes Him a liar, because Christ has said I am the way, the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through me, John 14:6 another key verse, those three verses, John 10, Acts chapter 4 verse 12, John 14:6, are 3 verses by which you can already be sure why you believe in Jesus, no one comes to the Father except through me, if you want peace with God you need Christ, you have than to accept it in your heart as the only door, the only means of entry into a life of relationship with God.
I know that this too, brothers, raises many complications for those of us who are thinking, theological and biblical people, because one of the questions, well, what happens with a Tibetan, let's say in Tibet, that this is the most inaccessible, that he doesn't even have a transistor radio no internet, no television, do you know that there are still people in the world who have not heard of Jesus Christ, who do not know, Christ has never been clearly presented to them as Lord and Savior? They have never been given the opportunity to accept him or reject it, and one wonders what will happen to a person there in the jungle, is he going to be lost or is he going to be saved? It is a legitimate question, if he never had the opportunity, how can injustice be attributed to him?
And frankly I don't have a totally convincing answer to that. Now the Bible says on the day of judgment, one of the possible solutions, it says that there will be people who will have to defend themselves with their own reasoning, that means that they will come before the Throne of Judgment and God will judge them according to the reference point that they knew, now notice that this means that they are going to have to prove that they lived a life according to the system that they knew perfectly consistent, I don't want to be in that situation frankly, it's like me going before a judge here not knowing all the laws and trying to get a ticket taken from me, or having to defend myself against something and not having a lawyer by my side, I don't want to be in that position, but it is possible that that person, amen, glory to God, I hope that so be it, I'm not sure.
What I want to tell you is this, my brothers, and that is that I cannot let myself be carried away by the complications that I myself do not have a good answer for, I have to let myself be carried away by what I know and what the Bible says, the Bible says that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life, of that I am sure. So I cannot change my theological position because there is a complication for which there is no good theological answer, I leave that to the Lord, see if there comes a day when I get to heaven that millions of people are saved by another way than It is not Jesus Christ, I will be happy, because I have no interest in anyone going to hell, if there is something that I did not know and God had another plan, amen, glory to God, but I know that the plan that I know is in this Bible, and it tells me that Jesus Christ is the only one.
And I leave the complications to God, I have to live what I know, not what I don't know, and I will have a little more risk of going further because there are so many things that one could discuss but this is important, because I think that for the young and the more educated people it steals a little bit of, look, everyone proceeds that way, in science today there are many things that cannot be answered, in their system that they have they do not have all the answers, right now in Time Magazine an article has just come out that physicists have just discovered a particle that they were looking for forty years ago, it is a particle that answers many of the questions that they could not answer about the nature of matter I'm not going to go into much detail about that, Higgs bossom, it's a particle like the neutron, the electron, it's a particle that explains how this energy is so solid, like a chair.
They didn't know where that particle was or if it even existed, but they said they know we can't worry because we don't understand that, let's see and one day maybe we'll discover it, they've just discovered it now and so now they can answer that big question that They had. So there are things that we in our faith cannot fully answer, but that is not why we can abandon what the Bible says that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life, you have to preach it to your friends, your neighbors, your brothers , because if they do not have Christ they do not have the Father, they do not have salvation, and then they need Jesus to be saved. If men could be saved by other ways then why come into the world to die on the cross, why go through so much suffering, He is the way, the truth and the life.
Now, I want to be more specific, what does it mean to accept Christ as the door to the Father, in practical terms of daily life? Look at verse 9 of chapter 10 of John, it says: "I am the door, whoever enters through me" there are three beautiful things that I do not want to stop sharing with you, "whoever enters through me will be saved" you you can underline that and study it later, "it will go in and out" that's like a unit, and number three, "it will find pasture."
I believe that in each of these things the Lord was codifying something, look at the first thing, you will be saved, Christ is the guarantee of our eternal destiny, He is our insurance for eternity, Christ says: "I am the resurrection and the life He who believes in me, even if he is dead, will live, and everyone who believes in me will not die forever." Listen to me, Sister Bertalia Valverde knows what that means, do you understand? And those who died denying Christ know what that means, because although Sister Bertalia is biologically dead, she is alive for eternity, whoever enters through me he will be saved, there is no more important topic to discuss, where are we going to spend eternity?, and there are only two possibilities, or only far from God forever separated from his Grace, from his Presence, or in perfect peace with God for all eternity in a place of perfect joy that Christ himself has prepared for us.
The Lord Jesus Christ has said I am going to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and take you to myself so that where I am you may also be. Theologians debate and people ask, well, where is the sky? You have to take a rocket, go through Mars, Jupiter, Venus, and then when you reached the edge of the universe, the sky begins there, I have heard Dávila preaching about how heaven is like, I respect and love him, he is a terrible man of God, I believe that heaven is not reached by physical means, heaven is a dimension, something, I know one thing and it is that heaven is where Christ is and that is where I want to be, if it is here, if it is inside matter, if it is outside matter, if it is at the point of a needle, but there I want to be, I will discover where is heaven when I get there, I can ask all those questions, right?
And the theologians debate, where is hell? There are people who say that hell is in the center of the world, right there where the lava is, and the magma, all that kind of thing, that if you take a machine and start drilling, and get in there you will find the hell, which is very hot in the very center of the earth, others believe that it is a dimension outside of space, I only know one thing, which is where Christ is not, where his grace does not reach, and he knows that I do not want there be. I don't know if it's so cold that it seems hot, or if it's so hot that you burn or whatever, I don't care, I don't want to be, if it's in space, I know that there is no peace there, there is no love, there is no stillness, there is no joy, there is no rest, because neither God nor Christ are there, do everything possible to prevent yourself from going there and your loved ones, your neighbors, people you know from going there.
I ask the Lord to help us, I ask you to fill me with such a sense of urgency that I will do everything possible to make sure that no one I have influence over goes to hell, and this Church I encourage you brothers to do a Church that has a love for souls, and that sense that heaven, hell, we have to keep people from going there. Then whoever enters through me will be saved, second, he will go in and out, this is an image of everyday life. It will go in and out, it is everyday life. When you have Christ you know that you can go in and out in the world, in life. Christ not only prepares us for eternal life, he prepares us for this life, he provides us with support for our struggles, our trials, our jobs, our family life, financial matters, health, as I said before through Him we come in and out, that's why He says the one who lives and believes in me.
How nice it is to know that when I have Christ I go in and out, the world is my patio, I have the freedom to buy and sell, to move freely through life, come in and out. That also means, look, that all the things that happen in life, there are many things that you go in and out of life for, illnesses, family problems, marital problems, financial setbacks, difficult times, graduations, good times, the children leave the house, they stay, I'm talking about something personal of ours, one gets old, gets sick, gets better, life is going in and out of many things, isn't it true? them in Christ Jesus.
When you are sick you go to your father to heal you, when you have financial problems you trust that He is your provider, when you have a dilemma in life and you do not know what the solution is, the Bible says ask for wisdom and it will be given to you, when you have a situation that you are under attack in some way the Bible says put on the full armor of God so that you can stand firm on the day of testing and having finished everything stand firm. So for me one of the most beautiful things knows, I know that my passport is already bought, stamped, for the day I leave with Jesus Christ, but while I am in life I know that in all these things I am more than victorious for Through Christ Jesus, I am not only saved but I go in and out as I want in the world because I have Jesus, so the last thing he says, he will find pasture.
Do you think that Jesus says it only because it is pretty? no, what do you mean you will find pasture, what do you understand by finding pasture? It means that you will find rest, you will find food, nutrition, strength, food for the road, joy, gasoline when you feel like the needle is already in E and the yellow, red light is already on, He returns and fills it with new strength, amen? Boys get tired and get tired, young people falter and fall, but those who wait for Jehovah will have new strength, they will raise wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not get tired, new strength, encouragement, food for the road, food for the fight, place to rest when you are already dry and life has given you blows, where are you going?, to Christ, and in his Word, in prayer, in a chorus of praise that you sing to him with the tears coming out of your cheeks you find pastures.
The Bible says in places of delicate pastures he will make me rest, next to resting waters he will shepherd me, he will comfort my soul, he will guide me through paths of justice for the love of his name, you will find pastures. You do not have to procure your own pasture, the Lord provides it for you, He died on the cross so that you have pasture, while you go out and enter the paths of life, see Christ so that He puts you in places of delicate pastures, make you eat the best food in the house, He will set his table and you will be able to feed yourself, no matter what happens in your life my brother, if you are going through a test, a difficulty, look, eternal life is waiting for you assured, whoever enters through me will be saved, if you are going through a difficulty you say hey, that is one of those entrances that the Lord says that I can enter and exit.
I will go out and come in, and I will stand firm. What is one of those doors through which you have entered right now? Do not worry, you are going to come out of it too, He died on the cross so that you and I always have victory in all the things we go through. And finally remember if you feel weak, tired, and loaded, the Lord says I have pastures for you, come to me all you who are labored and loaded and I will give you rest, hallelujah. Why go to another place to find all that if in Christ Jesus you have the complete package? Eternity, time and space, your interior life, everything is provided by that wonderful insurance that Christ provides, full cover, full cover, amen?.
