The speaker encourages listeners to confront their giants with faith and not to be afraid of bad news or difficult situations. Victory can be achieved with God's help.

How many have come here because they have a giant in their life that they need God to behead? Brothers, I have a favorite text that has become a lifestyle for me and I invite you to First Samuel chapter 7, that is right, David and Goliath, and you will say Pastor, it is Wednesday, it is not Friday, that message is better save it for I wanna, everyone knows the passage about David and Goliath. And you know, last year we had a meeting at the academic resource center, confronting another giant, we are Davids, my arm is twisted from so many stones that I have sent against a giant, another, I have a classroom the trophies and the heads of these giants in the name of Jesus, but the Lord spoke to me through this and told me, you know, here is a pattern, and it is one of the patterns, a strategy that I keep in my saddlebag, and that I have learned to take out, it has informed me a lot, it has served me a lot, and I want to give it to you in the name of Jesus, I want it to be a blessing for your life as well, especially in this defining year for our Church , and I'm going to explain why that's so important.

First Samuel chapter 17: "The Philistines gathered their armies for war, assembled in Soco which is of Judah, and camped between Soco and Aseca in Ephes Damin, also Saul and the men of Israel gathered together, and camped in the valley of Elah, and they arrayed themselves against the Philistines, and the Philistines were on a mountain on one side and Israel was on another mountain on the other side and the valley between them", and in that situation I imagine you arrived, as armies in battle order, your life and everything you carry at risk on one side, everything that represents your life, your image on one side, and on the other mountain, on the other side you see the army of the enemy as well embattled.

And this was a rite, the Word does not tell us how many months, years, they took in this boring order, but it was something like that, the Philistines would come out and make eeeehh, noise of war, the Israelites would still come out and do aaaahhh, like rambo This is how they passed, until Goliath came out, and when Goliath came out, the Israelites said excuse me, and went to the other side, and that describes a lot of our lives, even in the Lord, even in environments like this Ahurita, that's why It is so important that I want you to take this, I do not want you to fall into this boring and dangerous pattern of going out, shouting, against your giants and the army that threatens you, making a lot of noise, making a lot of shouting, and the next day, the giant there, isn't that boring my brothers?

Lots of declarations, lots of noise, but why don't we conquer the giant? Brothers, that is why the Lord has placed in the heart of our Pastor that this year is a defining year for the León de Judá congregation. This also describes, my brothers, the situation of the Church of Jesus Christ, and frankly, the Church of Jesus Christ on a corporal level is tired of a Church that has lived like this, in this region, because what is true for its life is true for the Church of Jesus Christ too, much aaahhh, and the giants that we have just presented before the Lord there, challenging us, challenging us, the school system the same, the income rate of our people, the same, the economic situation, the same, the immigration laws immovable , lost generations, churches losing their vision, their anointing, their authority. That is why the Holy Spirit has told the Pastor, it is time for you to know who you are, who I am, and truly understand who your enemy is, your adversary.

Brothers, I share that with you, and it has to do with confronting reality, defining ourselves. First of all, clearly define number one, truly confront who and whom we are fighting against. Second, knowing our God, defining him, his guidelines, his ideas, what he hates, and knowing ourselves well and facing ourselves, and we're going to get right into that, this pattern is here. In verse 4 Goliath comes out: "Then came out of the camp of the Philistines a champion, a champion, whose name was Goliath of Gad, and he was six cubits high, and a span, that is, he was more than nine feet tall." , and we know this because the word says so, "and he had a bronze helmet on his head, and he had a piece of mesh, and the weight of the coat was five thousand cycles of bronze", that is, this mail coat weighed more than 125 pounds, we know how much it weighs because the Word says it, I'm not repeating myself, I say it for a reason. "On his legs he wore bronze grevas, and a bronze javelin on his shoulders, and the shaft of his spear was like a loom roller, and the iron of his spear had 600 iron cycles" which translates to a weight of fifteen He pounded Goliath's spear point, and his squire went before him.

Why did I stop so long to translate Goliath's height, the weight of his chain mail? Look, are you seeing the detail of the Word? It is not enough for the Word to merely say and Goliath came out armed to the teeth. The Word tells you like this, how tall this man was, how much he weighed, how much his spear point was, the physical position of his squire, flash, details, details, tell your neighbor he knows his Goliath. My brothers, a mistake about faith that many make is that faith is running from reality, don't talk to me about problems, I don't want to hear that diagnosis, no, it's better not to know, what's more, I don't even check my checkbook of bank. My brothers that is not faith, that is not living by faith, that is living by fantasy.

Faith begins with this, faith begins with knowing your Goliath in light of details, not running from him, confronting him. And my brother, if you are new to the faith and just arrived, this applies to everything we talk about here, but if you just arrived with your scroll and you don't know where to start, start with the same scroll. Financial problem, brother, do you know your budget? If you are praying for provision, if you are praying for a financial miracle, my question is how many months behind is your mortgage? I say it, brothers, do not run from reality, faith begins knowing precisely how big and high this giant is coming against you, and then we are going to talk about God who has your support.

But a very special exercise of faith that I received from a mentor of mine, about six years ago the academic resource center faced a pretty big giant, I called him and said, Harry we have such a problem, a flow problem box, and he told me, what problem?, ah, a problem, but I think it can be overcome, he was an honest man, he was a Christian who ran a finance company for 25 years, he said give me the books, call me In a week, he tells me, Samuel, do you know the problem you were telling me about? Yes, it's not as bad as you told me, it's worse, it's much worse, no no no, Harry isn't that bad, he told me , and he confronted me with reality, that was this man's ministry for my life, he confronted me with reality, how good it is to have people like that in his life.

Brother, if you have a hard time facing the reality in your life, have people around you who can talk about the reality in your life, and do not reject the word of these people, listen to it, receive it, you are praying for healing, you know, on Good Friday, the The Lord gave me, a Word merely of intercession occurred to me, the Lord gave me this Word, Lord we bring you the impossible, we bring our impossible diagnosis, the prophets of God do not even know why God gives them this Word. A sister approaches me with some papers and tells me you have just confirmed something that the Lord put in my heart, your father had been diagnosed with cancer, and according to this paper that they had put in his hand it was a horrible percentage, about 80, 90%, that this was not only isolated but spread throughout her entire body system, it was a death sentence, and she said: I bring this diagnosis and as Hezekiah presented it to the temple before the Lord.

Confront, confront reality, don't run from it. Number two, know your God. In verse 33, the Word says that Saul was presented with a young man who was in the camp and heard Goliath's threats and was offended, a young man, David, Saul did not know that the Lord had already anointed him as the next King of Israel, this little boy, but here we are beginning to see the heart of this young man and why. And you know I've learned from this, when Saul tells him you can't fight him. That is the next step, confront your reality, and the next thing you are going to hear is this, look boy, if in 800 a pass, in your credit, that 300 of yours, you hung yourself, you hung yourself with that diagnosis, the enemy will to say impossible to you, I blocked you, you can't handle this anymore, and so Saul told him, boy, he's going to break you in the middle, he's been fighting all his life as you dare, and David made a tour of what God had done for him.

Have you taken a tour of what God has done for you? If I or Pastor Omar handed over the microphone and I said: what has God done for you, in the last week, in the last month, in the last hours, could you say? And for David, look, it made sense that God was going to give him victory, even though he had no military experience he said look, your servant was a shepherd, hello, his resume said shepherd, are you kidding me? , shepherd of his father's sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb from the flock, I would go out after him and strike him and deliver him from his mouth, and if he rose up against me I would lay hands on him, and wounded him and killed him, it was that lion, your servant killed him, and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has provoked the Army of the living God, and adds David, Jehovah, learn to say this, take your tour, confront your Goliath, take your tour and then in your heart you declare, Jehovah who has delivered me from the paws of the lion and from the paws of the bear, will also deliver me from the hands of this Philistine.

My brother, you know that for God, that verse, there is nothing impossible for God, your cancer and your headache, your checkbook, or your mortgage, the economy of the United States, everything for Him is the same thing, I will I have a piece of advice about, you know, an instrument that has helped me about these things is, you know, I have learned to keep a journal, a journal, volumes and journal volumes, I start my day with a journal every day, I start with the Lord's word. And you know one of the things that I see when Goliath comes, wooh, you know now I'm going to split you in the middle, when you come I'm a dog Samuel, here we are again, it's like a soap opera now, he comes out of one side, I go out the other and start digging around the stones around me, and he says the lion, do you remember who killed him? the neck, well it was the same.

And my brother, in my diary, many times I read it with my classmates, it's a privilege, now it's a drama, and I hope the Lord changes my ministry, because it's like living on a roller coaster, Lord, we're going to destroy ourselves , it seems not, have mercy on your servant, line after line after line, Lord, hurry, grant the request of your servant, and the next word, now. A week, a month, sometimes an hour, before the sun goes down, the Lord has answered, that is also in my diary, request, answer, request, answer, it is uncanny, God has always been doing it, but now I'm keeping score, who was winning? The Lord always scores more goals than the devil, he always wins, and advice number 2, brother learn to celebrate.

When God gives you that victory mark it, you can celebrate by testifying, look what the Lord has done for me, you can celebrate as we did ahurita, I am sure that part of that leap comes from two or three people who have seen how great it is it's God and you have a victory to celebrate, celebrate, because when the next giant comes you will finally remember who your God is, and this is the hardest part for many of us, face the reality of yourself. This is difficult, where am I going, in verse 38 Saul tried to prepare David as he best understood, from his own tunic, an irony here in quotes, Saul's tunic bore the King's insignia, unknowingly, this is already between us, it has nothing to do with the message, but it's such a delicious detail that I can't resist it, the man already dressed him with the King's insignia, oops, ok.

And it says: "And David girded his sword on his clothes and tried to walk because he had never tried it and David said to Saul, I cannot walk with this, because I never practiced it, and David did those things of himself, and in his Instead he took his clothes and his staff, and chose five smooth stones from the stream, and put them in the shepherd's sack, and took his sling in his hand" and went towards the Philistine with his sling, with his little stones and his shepherd's rod. . Brother every time I have tried to put on the armor of another failure. One of the exercises we do in the discipleship class is to know our mission, and part of knowing our mission is this, know how God has operated in your life, that is, your strengths, your talents, the way in which God has worked for you. use you. Brother, you don't have to put on someone else's armor for God to glorify himself in you. To make it easier I am going to make it personal, I will never preach as Pastor Omar preaches, less as Pastor Roberto preaches, that is the truth.

I will never be a main Pastor of a Church, what's more, I ran away from that, I went to law school like Jonás fled from Ninibe. I ran to the law school so as not to get into the Pastorate, and there the Lord found me smiling, "hahaha, I was waiting for you here", the whale of the Lion of Judah congregation swallowed me, and I ran faster to where the Lord wanted that I was, doing precisely what the Lord wanted me to do with Him. You know, the Lord tells you, as I have done to you, and with what I have placed in your hands, and with what I have done in you, go and confront your Goliath, what you have to be is faithful, know yourself, because God will get more glory from you. Let's stand up.

My brothers, this message is for those who are already bored, this is a good time to be accompanied by the musicians or the musician, this message is for those who are bored of facing the giant without help, in the Lord Jesus we declare in this year of definition, the Lord is going to define not only at the level of the congregation of Judah but at the level of your life, the giants that you are confronting, and you are going to decapitate them in the name of Jesus. Brother, but I am not the Pastor, no, you do not have to put on the Pastor's armor, what God has given you is enough, what God has with you and for you is enough, allow me to intercede for you.

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness. Brothers, take this last opportunity and take a good look at the giant, do not run from him, it seems impossible, it seems insurmountable, I see, I am seeing the faces here of men and women who have confronted giants, I have seen them carrying the heads of these giants and presenting them to the Lord as spoils of war, I have seen homes that should never be together, restored. I have seen addictions that should never be broken, men and women sentenced to live a lifetime under the yoke of an addiction and see the Lord break that yoke in Jesus name. I have seen people breathing and in our midst, that long ago we should have fired them for eternity, due to some cancer or some fatal disease, and here you are, in the name of the Lord Jesus we come against these giants, and we are not going to run from them in Your name, we declare that when we finally open the chest of faith, when we finally see that giant in the eye, tomorrow when we hear that diagnosis, tomorrow when we read that credit report, tomorrow when I go to visit the my son's teacher who is going to explain to me why my son or daughter cannot learn or is not going to graduate, I do not run from this news, I bring it to Your feet, Lord I will receive this news, I do not run from it, I bring it at Your feet, I am reminded of who I am to You, I bring it to myself, and on those promises we will defeat that giant in the name of Jesus, we will defeat that giant in the name of Jesus, and we will see that victory.
