Above all else, guard your heart!

Summary: In Judges 7, God tests Gideon's army of 32,000 men by taking them to the waters. Those who drink eagerly and on their knees are dismissed, and only 300 men who drink with their hands are chosen to go to war. This test reveals who is mission-hearted, self-controlled, and up to the task. God always tests us in the small actions of our lives, as they reveal our character and temperament. We must be prepared and have a heart that conforms to what God wants and needs. We should seek excellence in how we serve the Lord and be careful who we associate with, as it will determine our destiny. We must obey the Lord and escape with our life, living what God says.

God tests the hearts of men and women to see who is committed to the mission, who is self-controlled, and who is only interested in their own needs. The actions of a person reveal their character and temperament, and God is always watching. It is important to have a heart that pleases God and to let Him shape our personality, psychology, and heart. God cares more about the heart than anything else, and He blesses those who have a perfect heart towards Him. We must continually remember that God is always watching and looking for passionate servants of excellence.

The speaker emphasizes the importance of guarding one's heart as it is the driving force of life, and everything flows from it. God is always looking for people with a passionate and excellent heart for Him, and He wants to bless and prosper them. The speaker advises guarding the heart from pride, grudges, envy, hate, lust, impurity, and hypocrisy. He urges the congregation to pray for their pastors and leaders and desires to be pleasing to God. The sermon ends with a prayer to form each person according to God's desire and a clean heart.

Let's go to Judges chapter 7, the Holy word of God, Judges, before reading this passage I just want to put myself in context, it is about the ministry of Gideon, God calls Gideon to free his people from oppression, from a nation much more Stronger than they, the Midianites who have oppressed Israel for a long time, the Hebrews complain to God, repent of their sins, God decides to free them

, and raises up a man named Gideon, He gives instructions, and before he takes them to war, with the group of men who have promised to go to war with him, God decides that he has to do something to clear things up and clearly define who is going to go with him, and who don't So the battle is before them and it is very imminent, they are going to go to war, so this is the context, there are thirty-two thousand men, thirty-two thousand men who have offered to go to war with Gideon, before a much much larger army.

Thirty two thousand may seem like a large number but compared to the immense number of the enemy they were very few. Then God decides that if the thirty-two thousand go, although it is a relatively small number, it is still too large a number for what God has, something very important is that when people are prepared, God does not need many people to carry out their work, and you don't need to have many resources, you don't need to have great resources to do great feats in life, what you need is a proper heart, and I want to talk about that, about our hearts, that's why the Lord decides to test These men. Another very important thing here is, the Bible says that many men are called but few are chosen. All these men, these thirty-two thousand men, had done something very important and noble, and that was to offer themselves to go to war, and that was a lot, but not all of them were prepared nor were they according to God's heart.

There are many people who want to serve the Lord, many people who have a desire to do things for God but are not prepared, their hearts do not conform to what God wants and needs. That is why many people will go around their whole life without achieving what they want so much, because their hearts are not prepared. And until the heart is not prepared, success does not come, and the achievement that God wants. That's why we have to be careful, with how our hearts are, and in fact, what encouraged me to treat this passage, originally although God gave it a different twist this morning, is the fact that I had prepared my sermon, so fact, beware of the adequate, sometimes we say that the adequate is quite good, someone has said that the good is the enemy of the excellent, it is not enough to be good and adequate, one has to seek excellence, especially in how we serve to the Lord, and in serving the Lord that is so important, the way we walk before God.

Some would say well coming to church that's enough, I give my tithe, I serve the Lord what else do you want, be satisfied with that, be calm, you know what? God deserves much better than that, God deserves all of our being, God deserves actions of greatness, of exaggerations for Him, for His glory, so look what happens when these men are there ready to go to war, they have registered, everyone believes that they are going to go but God tells Gideon , verse 4, perhaps they even forgot where we were, Judges 7:4, but it is part of the sermon, that is the, as they say, the ñapa, I think the true word is the yapa, but let's say Napa, Latinos that we are. Ok, 7:4, God said to Gideon: "There are still a lot of people", in other words, Gideon said thirty-two thousand, that's all we have, it's enough, God said you know there are too many, take a little from me those people, there are still many people, take them to the waters, this morning God enlightened me, even at the moment of reading it, take them to the waters, you know what reveals the character of a man, a woman, the heart, the waters, what are the waters, the waters of trials, the waters of life, the waters of problems, the waters of pressure, the waters of time, that is what reveals what is in a man, in a women.

Recently, a person that we know very well, was the wife of a man, today we must clarify that too, the wife of a man who had lived together, I think it was twenty-odd years, and one day this man leaves the he marries another woman, goes to his country and practically disappears, from there he informs her that he no longer wants to be with her, and leaves her as we say. Twenty odd years living with a man and you don't know what's in his heart but one day it comes to light, I told him well sister better alone than in bad company. Sometimes you can live, go to bed with a person and not know what is in their heart, but time, tests, and the pressure of life, the waters, bring to light what is in people's hearts. That is why it is important that we know what is in our hearts, God tells him, take them to the waters, because that is what he brings to light, when the waters are reaching up to your neck, and what are you going to do there? , there you will know what you have inside your heart.

Take them to the waters, and there I will prove them to you. I liked this too, I'll try them for you. You know that we need to tell you, Lord, I don't know who I walk with, try it on me to find out what's inside them, be it in marriage, be it in courtship, be it in a financial or work society, be it in the ministry, be it in the friendship, you have to tell the Lord, prove it to me, prove it to me, young man if you're going to get married you have to tell the Lord Lord, prove it to me, I'll let it go, let it go, prove it to me, let's see what happens, bring to light what that it is hidden, because many times we do not know what is there, I think we have to be careful who we associate with, that will determine our destiny, and we have to be careful, for example, where we live, where we study, what city we go to.

Lot went to a city, it was called Sodom, because he liked what he saw, it looked very leafy, very green, but he did not judge according to the heart of God, and that is why his life ended in disaster, he lost his wife, he lost everything he had, because he did not ask God to prove to him where he had to go, but he let himself be carried away by his eyes. Many times we make decisions about who is going to go with us to war, to life, to the events and struggles, the companies of life, instead of saying to the Lord, Lord, put fire under the feet of see what comes out of there, sometimes cockroaches, scorpions come out, and sometimes good things come out too, but you have to be careful with that.

Then God said I am going to prove it to you, those who are going to go with you in this company, give them to me, you have to say in life, give them to me, Lord, that is important, and when God tells you something, do it, and here it says "And from what I tell you, go with you, this one will go with you, more than what I tell you, this one will not go, will not go". You have to be careful again because many times God tells us that person is not for you, don't go with him, don't go with her, you shouldn't hang out with that friend. That city is not the one I want. That career that you are going to choose will give you a lot of money, but it is not the one that I have for you. Look, if God tells you don't go with that, don't go with that, obey the Lord, obey the Lord, escape with your life, live what God says, then what I say will not go, you won't say please, no, don't go, no please, he won't go.

And Jehovah said to Gideon, and here is something very important, God is a tremendous psychologist, and He subjected him to a very interesting test, he says: "Anyone who licks the waters as the dog licks, that one you will set aside. That is to say, he he would take his water and just drink it, like that, hastily, "that one you will set aside" "So whoever bends on his knees to drink" It says here that it was the number of those who lapped carrying the water with their hand to their mouth, they took it and drank it like that, those who licked the water with their mouths, three hundred men, 1%, less than 1%, every hundred men one licked the water with their hand, the others jumped into the water and to drink water riotously." And all the rest of the people fell upon their knees to drink the water. And God said to these three hundred men, I will save you. And I will deliver the Midianites into your hands, and let all the other people go, each one to his place." I imagine when they told all those other thirty-one thousand men that they had to go home they went off grumbling like we do , annoying, what does it have to do with how I drink the water, what does that mean. Gideon has gone crazy and is arbitrary. But God knew what he was doing. Now I puzzled for a long time meditating what God saw in that test, why He chose those three hundred men, and making sure that Meche did not see me, or know what I was doing, I did a test in the bathtub, and imitated what these men did. And these men who put their mouths in the they bent, filled with water, put their mouths and heads, we are revealing something of what was in their hearts, they put something of what was in their hands, they revealed something that was in their hearts as well.

If you do the test like me, what I understood is that those men who drank the water in an indiscipline, bent, bend their knees, there are ways of bending the knees that are very good and others that are very bad, I believe that these people when filling up with water and drinking unruly, because they remember that the enemy was around, because for me to drink water like this, you can't drink a lot of water like this, I think these men drank like this with their hands because they knew they were going to war and they didn't they could drink too much water, they had to be careful, these men were perhaps more disciplined, they controlled their need more, and they drank only what was necessary in an uncomfortable way, I think they revealed in their hearts a certain sense of the mission that was within them, and they took only what was necessary and in an uncomfortable way, the others drank what they wanted, they doubled over, got in to absorb the water, they did not pay enough attention to the fact that in front of them was the war, while the others took up the mission, drinking only a little in a disciplined manner.

They were revealing who was up to the task, who was mission-hearted, who was self-controlled, and others who revealed that it was simply their appetite and need that interested them, and I I believe that those three hundred are committed to the mission, that they are willing to pay the price, those are the ones that God is willing to use. They revealed what was in their hearts, in their psychology, in their temperament, in their character. Do you understand? And it is interesting that this is what God is going to always do in life with the men and women that He wants, He is going to test them in the waters, whatever you do, the small actions of your life say much about its general character. That's why I always look at the little things because that's what the heart reveals much more clearly than the big ones.

So I meditated on that this week, the origin of this was because when I went on a trip, we had 24 hours of prayer ahead of us, I had not had time to prepare the program for those hours well, and there were 24 hours of action that we had ahead of us. We wanted to fill each hour with active, well-intentioned and purposeful things, but we hadn't had time to plan everything well, I had made a basic sketch like this, and then I practically called from the airport and said Samuel, I don't have all things clear, I left a message to David too, I had spoken with Toby as well and here at the ministry, but everything was deformed, disordered like the waters in the world that God ordained, so I left him and had to go away, and there I was working all those days, from time to time I would look at the internet, and I would see that there were signs of life in what they were doing, I would see emails that were being exchanged, but when I came back I found a program that was very well formed, very well organized, and I downloaded I found out that these leaders had been working hard, and when we got here all I had to do was get on the program and God blessed, I said thank you Lord for men and women who take seriously the charge they are given, and execute with excellence. without one whipping them from behind to make them do what they have to do, because they have an excellent character, and that is what God wants to raise up in this time, a people who take the things of God seriously, and who execute, and that they be loyal in what is entrusted to them, and take seriously the entrustments of the kingdom, of their leader, of their church, and neatly execute what is entrusted to them.

Wow, how good is excellence, how good it is to have people that you tell them something and they run with the mission and you can not worry about them, that is so important, so another illustration that was what confirmed preaching about it this week, In my prayer time, everyone worked, as I say, one person points out because it was something that impressed me about them, precious, I am not pointing out anyone by commission or omission. The case was that my brother Bruno had one of the times of prayer and he arrived at two in the morning that was his turn, and he spent four hours and a bit playing there during the time of prayer, adoration, and he stayed a long time more than I think was programmed for him, and I saw that he chose the hymns, I saw his attention to what he was doing, and his desire to enrich the times of his brothers with his action, and I said wow that's good, it's like a housewife who prepares a meal, and adds her different seasonings.

I have discovered that the difference between a good dish and an exceptional one is the little details that are added to the food. That little bit of cumin that you add to it, or coriander, that low heat that you put on or that you leave it for an extra hour seasoning on the fire, is that what makes the difference, yes or no? It's the care, the attention, it's the small detail, the attention, and then that, but you know what motivated me the most about this brother, when he finished I said wow, what an excellent job, you know he got on again and left he began to sing with the choir of three brothers, he was no longer in the first place playing the piano but he decided, I am going to give more strength to those who are adoring as one more of those who were adoring, he got up there, and for me That was even more important, that detail. You know that this is how God sees men and women brothers, God is always watching everything we do.

And we think not. Sometimes it is a small detail, but God is always watching. I believe that one has to live life knowing that 24 hours a day, 365 hours a day, God is watching you, 60 seconds per minute. The eye of God is there, the divine computer is measuring the smallest movements of your heart, your feelings as you worship the Lord. There are twenty, thirty people who truly adore the Lord, others adore generically, or there are different degrees. The woman with the issue of blood was in a crowd and when she touched the hem of Jesus' cloak, the Lord trembled inside and power came out of Him, not even wanting it. Why, because this woman had something in her heart that set her apart from the crowd. And when He said who touched me, the disciples said but like who touched you if there is a crowd, everyone is pushing you, no He said someone touched me. But why, because she touched him with a need, an urgency, a haste.

An intentionality, his heart stood out from the crowd, as these men stood out from the crowd. These other thirty-one thousand seven hundred had done something very good, worthy of commendation, but there were three hundred who made a difference, and that is the world through the quality of man, woman, who serves the Lord, what it makes a difference, if you look through the scriptures, you always see that, God always tests men and women, Abraham told him I am going to give you a son, at the age of 75 he told him I am going to give you a son, I am going to do great things through you, I am going to bless humanity through you. And whoever curses you I'm going to curse and you're going to be renowned throughout the centuries, he said that to a Bedouin dry as a raisin.

And then twenty-five years passed and she had the son, and after she has him because there is one thing, look, God can have great purposes with a man, a woman, but I believe that many men and women do not fulfill what God has determined for them. because their heart has not been treated by God, they have not allowed themselves to be treated by God, they have settled for the minimum, their interpretation of the word and the kingdom is very basic, and so I do believe that God can have a purpose with a man, a woman, and that purpose is not fulfilled, because his heart does not please God. And that is why God put Abraham to the test and put him into the water, and told him give me your only son, that son for whom he had waited almost 100 years, who now filled his heart, was grandfather and father at the same time, and God told him give it to me, sacrifice it to me, and you know what, Abraham with all his terrible pain that he must have had, was going to stab his life, because God had told him, because God wanted to see what was in him, he loves me me more than his son? Is this man worthy of the great calling that I have for him? We're going to bring that out, we're going to do an experiment, and Abraham came through.

When he was going to put the knife in, God told him hold on, all I wanted to see was what you were going to do. God proves, God is looking at your heart, that is what scares me of all the things that I live, is that I know that God is always looking at me, I have to live my life like I am always in the balance , because God and the devil are always looking at you, when God told him Job, God told him what do you think of my son Job, there is no one like him on earth, look how he behaves, look how he conducts himself, look how he honors me , look how neat he is in life. And they told him of course You have blessed him with these things: money, children, reputation, influence, who is not going to serve you like this, of course he serves you because he is selfish.

The devil is a cynic just in case. And he says try it. He told her, look, take away what you have given her, see if it works for you. Ok, take away the riches, he stood his ground. Ahh but he has many children, offspring, one of those knows you. Take away the children to see if it works for you. His children die, firm. And finally he says yes but, his body is still intact, and if he is healthy everything else can be dealt with, and he says okay touch him, but don't touch his soul, and then Job develops a terrible scabies, and there says his wife, he said to Job, curse God and die, God is a scoundrel and an infidel, and Job said I believe that my redeemer lives and that He is with me, and with the struggle in his heart he remained there, and this aroused the respect of God.

Because the waters test you. When the waters are reaching your neck, and you have to decide if I do something unworthy or do something worthy, and I consign myself to the mercy and faithfulness of God. That is where you truly know what you are going to do, and I can tell you brothers, it is a list of characters and verses that prove those always in the Bible, actions reveal the heart and God cares a lot, these men here , God said let's try, and then that was what he brought to light. There are two things that I say test the heart of a person, time because time, one can do things by will, simply by force, or by what people say, or out of interest, but there comes a time when you you get tired, if it is not something genuine that is linked to your personality, your psychology, there comes a time when what you are doing is not linked to your heart, you will exhaust yourself and one day the monster will come out, and one thing which is very important, and the second thing is the test, sometimes the affliction, the test, the criticism, the financial problems, the threats, an opportunity that comes, that makes a person who, if his heart is not clear, will to come out, that is why it is important that what you do is born from within, and you let God shape your personality, your heart, and your psychology, because that is what will determine what will come out through your life, through time

So that is very important that we understand. So for God the heart is the most important thing there is. Before using or blessing someone. God is not so interested in the size of a man, a woman, his academic pedigree, his family lineage, he is not interested in how much money he has, what interests him is how his heart is, and that is why He cares so much about that, there is a king in the bible, Asa, father of Jehoshaphat, who one day when a great army comes against him, cried out to God and asked him to free him, and made a moving prayer, and God heard his prayer, freed him , and blessed him, and gave him victory against that immense army, and another great army came, against his people, but I imagine that this man had already tired, with time, because what is it that happens brothers, life If you don't take care of yourself, you'll wear out the teeth of the machine, and that's why one has to renew their commitment to the Lord every day of their lives.

So that the teeth of your machine are sharp, always. So that if your heart is not adequate, life will take away that edge, that seal of the Lord. And in his later, more adult time another army came against him. And this time Asa, instead of doing the same thing he did the first time, seek the Lord, what he did was he made a cheap, military alliance with an impious king, and he gave up all the utensils of the temple, he gave up the riches of his country , to affiliate with a wicked army, so that he would attack the other army and he wouldn't have to deal with the invasion, and he got away with it but you know what, when he was coming from the battle he met a prophet and look what he told him said, said "Because you have relied on the king of Syria and have not relied on the Lord your God, therefore the army of Syria has escaped from your hand." He remembered what had happened before. The Ethiopians and the Syrians were not a very large army, with chariots and horses, but because you relied on the Lord, He gave them into your hands, because the eyes of the Lord look at the whole earth to show His blessing in favor of those who have a perfect heart towards Him. Those who have a perfect heart towards Him. That makes me shudder.

I always tell my brothers what the whole earth is always looking at, God is eager for people who have a passionate and neat heart for Him, and of excellence, who prefer Him above all things. One believes that God does not pay attention, but brothers, God pays attention to the small and the big, the intimate and the public, what you do when no one sees you is perhaps the most important thing of all, and what you do in the long term God is always watching that, remember that. I have to continually remember that, and God wants to bless people, God wants to prosper people, God wants to raise up prophets, teachers, people of influence, but He is always looking for what is in their hearts. And wherever there is a passionate servant of excellence, God selects him and separates him, so that he can fight his great battles and be honored and blessed.

The eyes of God are roaming the whole earth to show His favor to those who have a perfect heart toward Him. And your actions as Asa's action showed, know that Asa believed that I could not free him from this battle, and he did a human alliance, then that afflicts the heart of God, there are acts that are not bad in our lives but we prefer convenience to what God wants, then that makes the heart of God sad, and that is why we have We have to be excellent with God in everything we do, and God is always looking for that, so it is very important that our hearts conform to God's heart. God tests people to bring to light what people feel about Him. Many of the things that are happening in your life, God is saying I'm going to put it into the fire to see what happens, I'm going to put it into the water , I'm going to take away what she loves the most, or what he loves the most, and I'm going to see if it stays with me. He knows that there are people who come to church because God blessed them once, they asked God, they cried out once, and they are in church, and some months and years go by, and they serve the Lord, but one day they ask the Lord for something , and God doesn't give it to them, or God takes away something they love. So they stay for a little while to hide it, but one observes them, and sees that they are declining, how much time they give to the Lord, and they no longer come to church, and one day they disappear from the map, because God did not give them what they wanted .

I believe that the woman the man of God has to be, whether it thunders or winds. You have to say no, I am going to serve the Lord whatever it is, I am not going to serve for the loaves and fish, I am going to serve him because He is God. Or rather that chorus "I'll give you my best, I'll give you my best, I'll give you my best." You sing that many times and you don't know what you are saying, you have to give the Lord the best of the best because God is happy about that, and God is always looking for that. In Deuteronomy you will see that there, Deuteronomy, look for it there, God tested Israel for 40 years, to test you, to see what was in your heart, to bring to light what was hidden. Why is the heart so important to God, because the driving force of life resides in the heart. The heart is the source of our actions and motivations, it is like the source of a river. It is small many times but it can produce an immense river with many branches and tributaries, you go to the Nile River, and when you find it at its tributary source it is a little stream, but that gives rise to a very large river over time, and that's how it happens , the heart is very tiny, it is a very small mass, the bible says that the heart, but today we would say the mind, the character, the psychology, the temperament, but that is it, it is the driving force.

Who knows if when we got to heaven one day the heart had something that the doctors couldn't see, or the psychologists and that's what the Bible said was the heart, I don't know. But that source of your life, the center of your life, everything comes from there, words, thoughts, actions into your life, that's so important, isn't it? And that is why you and I have to guard our hearts, already landing, go with me to Proverbs 3:4. I'm going to continue with this a little more perhaps next Sunday, I didn't finish it, that's why I want to finish here a little earlier, but maybe I think that now, look at Proverbs chapter 3 verse 4, I think it's a warning and a piece of advice that God gives us, to all of us brothers.

It says: "Above all guarded things, guard your heart, for life flows from it." Above all guarded things guard your heart because life flows from it. In other words, about anything else in life and in the world, about everything else in this life, I pass by, there goes a man who has a heart like few men, right now, that is a man with a heart perfect with God, guard your heart above all guarded things because life flows from it, in other words there are many things that you can guard in life, guarding means in this case protected, cared for, guarded. About everything that is good, important for your life, anything else, right? Family, children, money, work, position, ministry, because you can do many things externally for God, but that does not mean that your heart is pleasing to God. It says about everything kept, about everything important in the world and in life, take care of your heart, take care of what's inside, the vessel, because life flows from it, flows, life emanates from it, substance comes from it, the essence, which colors the rest, that is the stir-fry of the man, the woman, forgive a crude illustration but, it is the idea. It is that from your heart, from that nucleus, from that nugget of life, everything else that you do, say, think comes from there, and that is why you have to keep that tiny diamond that is inside your being, keep it, that is, keep an eye on it so that it is in shape, make sure that only good and noble things enter there, because that will determine the man or woman that you are in the rest of your life.

From it flows life, the essence of your being. From that little thing, you have to keep it, and look at what things you have to keep your heart from, if you want, write them down, there are six seven things that I would say they are, you have to keep your life from them. Guard your heart from pride and arrogance First, guard your heart from pride. In any manifestation, believing that you are better than people, that you are more spiritual than others, that you know something, says no one has a higher concept of himself than he should have, if he does not think of himself sanely. And it is important to guard your heart from pride. Number two, guard your heart from grudges and resentment. If someone has done something to you in your life, do not hold a grudge because the damage is done by you, the person you have a grudge against may be the happiest over there, nor does he know that you are eating a cable, or hating them, and resenting what they did to you, no. Look, don't do it for that person, do it for yourself, get that thorn out quickly, forgive and move on with your life. Always keep your heart clean of rancor, never allow rancor, because rancor is a black ink, which when it falls into your water colors it, so keep your heart from rancor as well.

Third, guard your heart from envy and jealousy. Keep your heart from wanting what another has. The anointing that another has, the woman that another has or the man, the money that another has, the position of influence, the destiny that he has had, keep your heart of envy, the ministry, the anointing that God gave him, no no , keep your heart of envy, always. If you detect jealousy or envy in your heart, look, exorcise it and cast it out of your life like a demon, because it is terrible. Keep your heart from jealousy and envy, very important, ok?

Fourth, guard your heart from hate. It is not the same as grudge, resentment. There may be hate. For example, Israel and the Palestinians, the Palestinians and the Arabs hate Israel, it is a hatred they have for it, the only word, and that hatred does not let them live, the Palestinians are eaten away by hatred, and that is why they do not prosper, they have opportunity to succeed but they cannot remove the thorn of hatred against that people they detest, and the entire Arab world is eaten up with hatred, hatred towards other nations, a hatred that encourages them and they kill each other, eat , because hate poisons your heart, your soul, your heart and your life, do not give in to hate, against anyone, guard your heart from lust, impurity.

I recently read on the internet about a doctor who has committed dozens of acts of pedophilia with children, and when you see his photo on the internet you see a man consumed by lust, don't let sensuality take root in your heart. Young man, if the internet caught you in some lewd image, male or female, get that out as soon as you can, because that is something that eats you away, and it grows, grows, grows, until it rules your life. When a thought like this comes, get it out of your life, because lust and mental impurity is an itch that the more you scratch it, the more it itches, pardoning the expression. Take it out, confess to someone, get help, or whatever, but don't let that rule your life, because that is terrible and harmful, and ultimately hypocrisy.

Keep your heart from hypocrisy or duplicity, always be a transparent, honest, easygoing person, your heart knows what you are and what you have in your hand, never give in to duplicity, dissimulation, falsehood, the man the woman of God It has to be transparent, clear, vertical, knowable, it's important, keep your heart from hypocrisy, six things, which are very important to keep one of them, but those are six important things that I put there.

Guard your heart above all guarded things because life flows from it, and we have to ask the Lord, I'm going to leave it there better because next Sunday I'm going to take it up again and maybe we can treat it with more time, but what God gives us He says guard your heart, your personality, because I look for that in a man, a woman, I call them brothers, I tell the Lord, Lord, conform us, as a church, to what You want from us, and my life, I eat main leader of this congregation, I feel the weight of God on my life every day, and the truth is that I can tell you I have a terrible fear that perhaps I shouldn't have it but sometimes a little fear is not bad, to walk before God , of this people in a way that is convenient before God.

Pray for your pastors, for your leaders, so that we can always walk straight before God, our hearts may be a pleasant heart. Right now the most that one desires in this time is for my heart to be pleasing, for my life to please you Lord, that is what I most long for in this time of my life, to be pleasing to God. Please the Lord with that part of my life. Because I understand that this is what matters the most, God is not interested in large actions, large amounts of money that you give to the Lord, no, what God wants is your heart, that when you look at it your heart is like a jewel, He takes from time to time from a chest that is covered with velvet, and God looks around, and the angels are over there doing their thing, and He takes your name, and opens his chest, and inside the chest is your heart like wrapped in velvet, and God pulls it out and pulls the velvet away, and looks at your heart, and a smile comes to his face and he says that's my son, my daughter, I like him in his heart.

And then he comes back again, covers it up, and puts it back in his chest and closes it, and goes on with his mission to redeem the universe. How is your heart, your personality, do not underestimate the importance of your heart, and make sure that all your actions reflect a heart according to the heart of God. May God help us brothers to be a people pleasing to Him. Stand up for a moment, our ushers please bring the holy supper, acknowledge what you have just heard here, we are going to be good Pentecostals, put your hand on your heart for a moment, and say, Lord, form me according to Your desire. Give me a heart that is pleasing to You, according to Your heart, a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, amen, amen, yes Lord, it is our desire Father.
