Summary: The speaker discusses the importance of building a temple for the glory of God and advancing the kingdom of God. He references King David's speech in 1 Chronicles 29 where David emphasizes the great work that is being done for God and calls for the people to contribute to the building of the temple. The speaker stresses the need for prayer and financial support, and encourages the congregation to focus on this effort and limit other activities for the time being. He expresses gratitude for the church's past efforts in building, and emphasizes the importance of continuing to sacrifice for the glory of God.

The speaker expresses gratitude for the church's growth and the lack of extreme sacrifices that have been needed for its development. He encourages people to donate to support the church, which is a stronghold of the kingdom of God. He reminds people that everything they have is from God, and giving to God is an act of generosity. The speaker lives under the premise that everything belongs to God and seeks His guidance in all aspects of life.

That beautiful building that is rising like a precious ear is a sign that the kingdom of God is advancing, and one of the reasons why we are building this temple is precisely to tell the world that the kingdom of God is advancing and It's not going back, is it? I want to look quickly in first Chronicles, chapter 29, where King David, when he is going to build the sanctuary, the first temple, the temple of Solomon, Solomon was the one who built it but David, the father who conceived in his heart the desire to build it God told him, it's not going to be you, it's going to be your son who is going to do it. But when David was going to entrust the work to Solomon, he gave a speech to the people, and that speech is something that, very beautiful and very exemplary, and teaches us the heart of this man of God.

First Chronicles 29, says brother David, 29:1, says: "Then King David said to the whole assembly, only Solomon my son has God chosen, he is young and tender of age, and the work is great" . Tell everyone the work is great. "Because the house is not for men." You know that this house is not for man, it is not to glorify a man, it is not to glorify a church, no, it says "but for Jehovah our God. I have prepared with all my strength for the house of my God, I pray for gold things, silver for silver things, bronze for bronze things, iron for iron things, and wood for wooden things" etc, no?, and all kinds of precious stones, in addition to this it says: "for how much I have my affection in the house of my God".

How many have his affection in the house of God? That must be unpacked, it is one thing to go to the house of God, another thing is to have his affection in the house of God. "Because I have my affection in the house of my God, I keep in my private treasure gold and silver, that in addition to all the things that I have prepared for the things of the sanctuary, I have given for the house of my God, three thousand talents gold", I don't know how much that was but I assure you it was a lot of money, "ofir gold" it was not just any gold, that was pure gold, "and seven thousand talents of refined silver to cover the walls of the houses. I therefore pray for things of gold, and silver for things of silver, and for all the work of the hands of the craftsmen. And who wants to make a voluntary offering to Jehovah today?" Go on later, verse 6, it says: "Then the heads of families, and the princes of the tribes of Israel, heads of thousands, hundreds, volunteered, and gave a great amount of money also for that." Verse 9 says, "And the people rejoiced, because they had contributed voluntarily, for they offered voluntarily to God with all their hearts, and King David was very glad, and he came before the house of the Lord and David said: Blessed are You, Jehovah God. our Father, from the century and to the century, yours is O Jehovah, the magnificence, the honor and the power, for all things are yours, yours Jehovah is the kingdom, and you are the exalted over all. glory come from you, and in your hand is strength and power, and in your hand to make great and to give power to all. Now, Lord, we praise and praise your glorious name."

Brothers, what a beautiful prayer, right? And here we see so many beautiful things, one of the things that strikes me about David, he says, our work is not a small work, it is a great work, and you look there and that framework that is being raising and you realize that it is a considerable work, we have gotten into something of magnitude, this effort is not for cowards, it is an extremely ambitious work, there are financial risks, we have to build a building that would normally cost 8 million dollars for 3.4 million dollars, why, because God has given wisdom and knowledge, we have made these buildings very very, comfortable, and incredibly efficient, and I know that we can do this and up to here God has blessed us with methodologies that we have learned from Him, but it is a work that does not admit many errors or inaccuracies, we have to be impeccable in the way we execute it, because it is a great work and we are trying to do something bold, without prescribing ceding I would say in these areas, a simple accumulation of income, undertaking a work like this, these works that we have done, it is something very big, it is a very big work, tremendously creative as well.

David says the work is great, why? Because it is not for a man, it is for God, God deserves precious things, God deserves the best, and you know that you also deserve the best, your children deserve the best, our future generations they deserve the best, the church of Christ in New England deserves the best, it deserves a testimony that God is powerful and that God blesses his people, and when we come to worship the Lord, we want to give glory to God, and not we do it in pride, God knows, I have searched my heart, day after day to see if it is a pharaonic principle that is reigning in me to build pyramids for my glory, no, nor prove anything to any man, this is for glory exclusive to God.

We are building a space because there is a need. You see how this is full every Sunday, my heart aches, and many do not come anymore because they know that if they spend a certain hour they will be uncomfortable and scattered in the sanctuary, we are doing it out of necessity, it is not like we have a single service ok, now, we have not tightened this, two services, right now there is a group in English that is meeting in another space, the second space that they are occupying is already too small for them, this morning I came in my car ready to park, and I see an African American sister, in a wheelchair and with the drizzle falling on her, her little wheelchair crossing Reed Street, and next to her was a young African American woman also from that project that is next door, she she stopped me and said pastor pastor, I stopped my car, put it back, greeted her, she told me I have a sister here from the project who is coming to León de Judá for the first time.

God is doing wonderful things, and I know that we are going to need space for that group when it grows, maybe they will occupy this place at 9 in the morning when we are there meeting, give glory to the Lord. Because we want to impact the community with the gospel, we have started this project in English because we know that this community needs a biblical presence, there are good churches in this area, I know, but one more will always be needed, because there is a terrible need here, And this group of crazy Hispanics believes that they can also bless English speakers, because I know that God has brought us for this, for a time like this in the history of this nation. This is for the glory of God, not for man.

And David had to call the people and tell them we need your help, and we need your help, and your participation, the kingdom of God wants you to respond too, we want continuous prayer, on Friday the 24th of this month, we will have 24 hours of continuous prayer, we are going to have a morning meeting, and we are going to continue until 8 o'clock on Saturday, we must bathe him in prayer, David prayed, and cried out to God, and blessed the Lord and cried out to the people, there as the bible says to God praying and giving the mallet, if you do not know which verse it is in, do not look for it because it is not in the Bible, but I believe that it is necessary to leave it to the Lord, but you also have to get your hands on it, both things, bless the lord and pass the ammunition as Lito Gutierrez says.

Now, we are not only building steel, cement and wood, it is about something much more significant, it is not just a building there, we want to have more space for our mentoring programs, to bless young people, I see a place for revival in that place, One day I see communities coming there, that this building is used 24 hours a day, prayer, adoration, praise, revival, anointing, impartation of power, pastors that come to be re-educated in the true faith, and all these halls being used continuously for the glory of the Lord, that is why we are building, for revival, it is not for wood, it is not for cement, it is not for steel, it is for work, mystery, mission, vision, advancement of the kingdom of God, and you can be part of that, don't miss it, tell your brother with a side blow don't miss it, like this, move his shoulder, don't miss it, I even became a Pentecostal for a moment, tell your brother that's one of the Pentecostal ticks, don't miss the opportunity.

I say like David, and who today wants to make a voluntary offering, who dares, who has the pants, if you haven't done it yet, I encourage you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, his angels, his saints and all that there is up there, move and commit yourself, and get into the work so that the kingdom of God reaches what it has to reach, David says that he built with all his strength, I with all my strength have prepared for the house of my God, there You can hear the warrior David speaking, it was not just any God, it was my God, the same God that I honored by decapitating the giant who was cursing and insulting him, for that same God now I want to offer him a great work, so that He may be glorified and may Israel's public testimony.

I tell him we have to work hard, I have asked that we concentrate on this effort, we have to be conservative in our finances, we have to be stingy with the finances of the church at this time, because we have to grab as much as possible there, and prepare for what may come in this process, and we have been very conservative, we have to focus on that work. I have said that for a while, we have to limit ourselves in the different things that we do, missions and other things, we have continued, it has been missionary work, but please understand when one says please brothers, let's focus on this, because it says there that the one that covers a lot does not squeeze, and people have to understand that there are things that have priority, and we now have to concentrate on that work, because it is an evangelistic work, it includes all the evangelistic values of this church, and the church is implicated in that, so for now I beg all the brothers to close ranks, let's go ahead in just one thing.

We will continue to do the work of the Lord in many ways, but understand if we say we cannot be adding different efforts, different things, not because we don't want to, but because now is the time to do other things, in another direction, and that work has to be finished, when it arrives. At the moment we will continue with all the other things, but we cannot keep adding more, and more and more, we have to stay focused on what God has called us to do now, because it is a great and demanding work.

I have seven minutes left, we haven't had to, brothers what I was saying we have to sacrifice for this, but you know in a sense I thank the Lord for all this work that the church has done over the years, to build these two buildings and spend all this money, look, many of us have not suffered, thank God I have never had to come before this town and say brothers if they don't raise a hundred thousand dollars they are going to take me to jail or God is going to take me to prison heaven, they are going to kill me, no, many of us have slept through the whole process and there has never been panic, extreme suffering, there has never been any need to say, you know what pastor I donate my house to him, I give him my wedding ring Thank God, how many of you have heard of, no, it has been a logical, orderly, biblical process, you have always known what has been done, there have not been great sacrifices of having to offer a holocaust there with your body to the Lord, no.

The church has given according to its abilities, I know that you have given too, sister María gave unemployed, I know that many of you do not have extra money, but for God brothers when we do things for the Lord, He never knows It falls short, he always blesses us, we have to sacrifice. How nice that David says my affection is in the house of God, he could say I love the house of God, no, he said my affection is in the house of my God, when I say that my affection is one as he says my illusion is in the house of God, the house of God is my dwelling, I enjoy living in the house of the Lord, it is there where I think and meditate and dream. You know that for many of us the church is the focus of our social, family life, many of you bring your children here for I Wanna, eat down here, read the word, go to discipleship, develop your gifts here, this is better than a club of lions or rotaries, I would throw it out to any rotarian club in the world.

This is a place of great blessing, and of great joy and growth, our affection is here, this is our home, this is where our life is taking shape, and for this reason it also deserves that we put our money, because this is the place of support for our lives, this is a stronghold of the kingdom of God here in Boston, and in New England and in the world as well, with the help of the Lord, you can help it, you can donate in the name of the Lord, and it The last thing I want to say is that, there is something nice that David also said, and he said in verse 16, "O Lord our God, all this abundance that we have prepared to build a house for your holy name is from your hand, and all it's yours".

How interesting, isn't it? You know that everything you give to God is from God, the hand with which you take the money out of your pocket or write that check, God did it, the paper with which you write the check, God did it made, the role of money God made, the atoms in your brain that coordinate numbers God made them, everything is from God, that is the most basic concept of stewardship, it is the concept that everything you have and are is of God, and that when you give to God it is out of generosity, you give to God one hundred percent that He gave you. I live under the premise that nothing belongs to me, not my wife, not my children, not my body, not my work, not my brain, nothing is mine, everything belongs to God, and I have to be twenty-four hours a day saying Father what are your orders for today, what do you want me to do, what do you want me to invest my life in, my money, you tell me to jump and I am going to ask you only how high and how long I stay in the air.
