Summary: The passage in John 11 about the resurrection of Lazarus reminds us of the power and meaning of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The resurrection brings hope, joy, and power into our lives, and it reminds us that Jesus is the embodiment of life itself. The fact that Jesus has life in Himself means that everything in the universe has coherence, meaning, purpose, and unity in Him. The resurrection is not just an event that happened two thousand years ago, but it is something that is fulfilled in our lives today. The resurrection gives us the strength to face the struggles and difficulties of life, knowing that Christ has already won the ultimate victory over death.

The passage in Colossians reminds us that Jesus is the image of the invisible God and the source of all creation. We should live our lives connected to Christ, who is the source of our energy and renewal. Through the resurrection of Christ, we have the hope of our own resurrection and eternal life. Death is not the end but a transition to a perfect, pure life. We should not mourn our loved ones too long as they are now enjoying an existence that we would like to enjoy. We need to understand that this world is not everything, and our death here is simply fleeting. Christ's resurrection opened a path for us to eternal life, and we should aspire to our own resurrection day.

The resurrection of Christ started a process that gives believers hope for eternal life. When a child of God dies, they are now in a place of eternal peace and rest. Christ is the source of life and guarantees our future resurrection. Through his resurrection, he shows his power and wants to give us specific faith for our problems in life. We can live in the power of the resurrection every day and have access to that power. Christ wants to completely nullify the damage in our lives and give us power and victory. We can find meaning in everything that happens in our lives because Christ is with us. We can throw Christ on top of our problems and trust in his power to defeat darkness and bring us life, light, and love.

The speaker emphasizes the importance of having a relationship with Christ, who is the source of life and the guarantee of our future resurrection. By accepting Christ into our hearts, we can live a peaceful life and not be afraid of death. The speaker invites anyone who has not yet made this commitment to raise their hand and pray with him. He also encourages those who have already accepted Christ to reaffirm their relationship with him and declare their victory over darkness and sin. The community is blessed and empowered by the resurrection of Christ.

John, Chapter 11, is a long chapter, I'm not really going to read it all, but I'm going to at least read verses that are relevant, and that are relevant to what we want to point out here, is the well-known passage on death and death. resurrection of Lazarus, and at this time, on this very special day in which we meditate on the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, this passage lends itself so that we can draw from that great event, a meaning that is very close to our lives.

Verse 1 says, then a man named Lazarus from Bethany, the village of Mary and Martha, his sister, was sick. Mary, whose brother Lazarus was sick, was the one who anointed the Lord with perfume, and wiped his feet with her hair, so they sent the sisters to say to Jesus, "Lord, behold, the one you love is sick", hearing Jesus said, " this sickness is not for death, but for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified by it."

Jesus called Martha, her brother, and Lazarus, and when he heard that he was sick, he stayed two more days in the place where he was. Then, after this he said to his disciples, "let us go to Judea again", the disciples said to him, "Rabbi, now the Jews were trying to stone you, and are you going there again?" Jesus answered, "Doesn't the day have 12 hours? He who walks by day does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. But he who walks at night stumbles because there is no light in him." Having said this, he told them later "our friend Lázaro is sleeping, but I am going to wake him up." His disciples then said "Lord, if he sleeps he will heal".

Then Jesus clearly told them, "Lazarus is dead, and I am glad for you that I was not there, so that you may believe, but let us go to him." So Jesus came and found that Lazarus had been in the tomb four days already. Bethany was near Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs, and many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary to comfort them for their brother. Then when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, he went out to meet him, but Mary stayed at home. And Marta said to Jesus, Lord, if you had been here my brother would not have died, but it is also time that everything you ask of God, God will give it to you ". Jesus told him "your brother will rise again". Marta told him "oh, I know that he will rise again, in the resurrection, on the last day." Jesus told him, "I am the resurrection and the life, the one who believes in me, although this dead person will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will not die eternally, do you believe this?" he said "yes Lord, I have believed that you are the Christ, the son of God, that you have come into the world", bless the Lord for his holy word, oh father help us to do justice to this beautiful word, on this day so special, the day of your resurrection, that we remember your victory over the grave and over death. Bless this message, Lord, and these thoughts that we share with your people, and give them power to mark the lives of your children, Lord, so that we can take food from these words, Lord, and leave this place vivified and strengthened, in the name of Jesus We pray, amen and amen.

This is a day, brothers, in which the Christian community gathers in all parts of the earth to celebrate the day of the resurrection. Many of you know that I was in Italy with brother Gilberto Sámano this past week, and one of the places that I was able to visit there was Saint Peter's Square, right in front of Saint Peter's Basilica, in the central area of the Vatican. It is an immense square, I think a hundred thousand people could easily fit in it, it is an impressive thing, streets, a square paved with stones, these black lava stones, very well arranged one with the other, an impressive spectacle, surrounded by that crowned semicircular, which makes that space something wonderful, and I know that already, due to the difference of six hours in advance that it is there in Italy, there was probably already a great celebration of pilgrims from all over the world, who, like us, today in a much more modest place, they also celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ. But it makes us think, the power that the resurrection has to summon the people of God. It is a day when we all feel motivated to go to church and remember the great victory that Christ has won and obtained through his resurrection. It is important that we meditate on the resurrection, because I would say that it is the culminating moment of all history and of all the pilgrimage of Jesus Christ on earth. It is the greatest day, I would say, of all creation because the birth of Christ is very important, but if Christ had only been born and that would have been all, in reality his life would not have had much resonance. If Christ had been born and died on the cross of Calvary, well, that too would have been of great importance, but something very important would have been missing, death would still have had the last word, and Christ would have gone down in history perhaps as a great genius. spiritual, a highly accomplished person who left a great message for humanity, a moral message, an ethical message, but in reality there would be nothing to differentiate him from other great characters, from other great religious geniuses, who have impacted history with a message also very high and worthy of admiration, but when Christ rose from the dead, when God raised him from the dead, something absolutely unique in the history of the universe happened, and that is that death was definitely defeated, because when Christ rose he rose again forever. He already ascended to heaven and death would never rule over Him. With his resurrection the Lord declared that he was not like any other spiritual religious character. He proved that his mission on earth was something totally sui generis as they say in Latin, unique in its kind. There was no one else who could compare to Him. And yet, we can say that if we don't fully understand what the resurrection means to us, to our own lives, then the resurrection just hangs there in that high zone. , very theological, very sublime, of great truths, of great spiritual facts.

But what strikes me about the resurrection is that it has some very serious implications for us as well. It has implications and has a great weight for your life, for mine, for the lives of Christians here on earth, and it is not only an event that happened two thousand years ago, we thank God because it happened, but because the resurrection is also fulfilled in your life and in mine. The resurrection brings hope to our lives, amen. The resurrection brings joy to our lives. The resurrection brings power into our lives. The resurrection kind of unleashed an energy, that we can take to walk the events of our lives as well.

While I saw you here this morning arriving at the church, and I saw the joy with which we sang one of the first choirs, I don't remember which one, that choir that was here full in front and the people kind of exploded, in a praise, in such a special dance, and all of you began to arrive here at the church, and I heard the laughter of the brothers, and the joy that was palpable in the middle of the congregation, I also thought wow, these people who come here to the house of God, and who worships the Lord with so much pleasure, with so much energy, and I looked at my brothers and sisters here. I know your lives, at least part of them, I know the dramas of many of you, we have the privilege, the pastors and counselors of the congregation, to sit with you, in the counseling rooms, pray for you, listen to your struggles, and I knew that those people who were adoring the Lord with so much joy come to the house of God, they have their problems, they come with their difficulties, some they even stand here and still hold a cane in their hand because they have an illness that they are struggling with and they are asking the Lord to heal them. Some of them have marital problems, some of them have experienced great loss and suffering and failure in their lives, some are struggling with financial problems and housing difficulties, documentation difficulties and a host of other things, but he said, Father, how good, how glorious. It is, that despite all these things, we can come to your house and adore you and rejoice in the Christ of the resurrection, amen?.

Because we understand that something has happened in our lives. Yes, the problems can continue, but Christ has removed his poison from the problems. Christ has taken away his ultimate victory. We are a defiant people, we are a militant people, we are a people who, despite the struggles and wounds of life, continue to declare the lordship of Christ over all things. And that one day we'll get to heaven, and maybe we'll get there limping a little bit, and some of us even smelling smoke, but we'll get there and we'll go in and be welcomed by our heavenly father to an eternal life without any problems and difficulties, that's the resurrection power. That is the beauty of being part of a people like the one we are, never lose hope, never lose joy, never lose the fact that despite all the struggles you have in your life, Christ is with you, Christ He won on the cross of Calvary, and you can also win as the word says, because he lives, I will have victory tomorrow too.

But this passage here where Christ shows us that He is the author of life, that moment in which the Lord resurrects Lazarus, is a very, very special moment, and pregnant, full of meaning, and I see in this passage, three big messages about the resurrection, like three big implications, three ways of looking at what the resurrection is. The first way I see Christ working in his resurrection, this passage shows me one thing, and that is that Jesus himself embodied life, he had the power to raise Lazarus there in his tomb.

The only character that has life in itself is Christ Jesus. Jesus is a great deposit of life, He is a bottomless pit that embodies life, all that is life, all that is healing, all that is health, all that is hope, light, love, joy, Jesus as that in his person he gathers everything. And then in that fact that He has it in Himself, He can then share it with another, He can distribute it, at three hundred and sixty degrees around Him. Everything that comes close to Him can drink from that life, can receive life from Him. I believe that the world is what it is, because Christ is life and has life in himself. And that life that Jesus had, was what could direct Him towards Lazarus, and when He arrived where that tomb was with a man who had already been dead for three days and who smelled bad, but that definitive death that Lazarus embodied I could not resist the life that Christ represented, the life that was in Him, because Jesus was life itself, and that is what we have to understand, that the resurrection reminds us of that fact, that Jesus is life in himself, and that everything that exists has to take its life from Him.

Colossians chapter 1, reminds us of this fact, and informs us about it, says that Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation, says "because in Him all things were created, those that are in heaven and those that are on earth, visible and invisible, be they thrones, dominions, principalities, powers, everything was created through Him and for Him, and He is before all things". And it says here in verse seventeen "and in Him all things hold together." That word subsist singesteken, means that all things in the universe have coherence, have meaning, have purpose, have unity in Him, because He lives, because He exists. Remember that the Jesus who walked the earth was only a divine human manifestation of someone who already existed for all eternity in heaven.

The Bible says in the first verse of John, in the beginning was the word was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, and that Word came to dwell among us became flesh, through the person of Jesus, but Jesus already existed, Jesus was present at creation, the third person of the trinity or the second person, Father Son, already existed before he came here on earth in his incarnation. Jesus was present when the world was created, when the suns and the stars and the universe were launched into creation, he already existed, he is the source of life. What we saw walking here on earth was the Word made flesh. Because in that same passage from Colossians that I just read, it says that Jesus unites in himself all things, the visible and the invisible, the eternal and the temporary. Christ came as an element to unify the human and the divine, the absolutely holy and the sinful, the temporal and the eternal, everything in his person he incarnated. And when Jesus walked on the earth, what He was doing was like showing what He does in the universe, which is He maintains everything that exists, in life He is the source of life. The Bible says that the only one who has life in himself is Him. The Lord Jesus also says, I have life and I can take it and keep it or I can give it up. It also says that He was life and light, and the light was the life of men. So we understand what we see in the resurrection, this fact that Jesus is life itself, is the power of life, and that we have to connect with the life of Jesus. The only hope that Lazarus had to come to life was if Christ approached him and communicated life to him through his words.

Brothers, I want to tell you and I want to encourage you, each day of your lives, to keep your life linked to the life of Jesus Christ. You have to live your life knowing that without Christ you have no meaning. I don't know about you but I can't start a day without commending my life to the Lord. And I cannot end a day without saying Father, today I have spent energy, renew it during the night's sleep. Just like I put my cell phone and plug it into the power source that has to renew it because I'm using it all day and the battery wears out, and in the morning I get up and look and see that the four stripes Those are strong again one hundred percent, I see that today my cell phone can continue working for one more day. This is how I have to do it, you have to do with your life too, live your life attached to the source of life that is Christ Jesus.

Because life is going to absorb your energy, the troubles, the struggles of life, the unpleasantness, physically, when you are on the road and you have a bad time, or you are stuck there and you are in a hurry you want to go somewhere, when You have an argument with your wife or your husband, when your children do something that bothers you, when the boss doesn't talk to you the way he should talk to you, when you lose your job, when something happens that you didn't expect, all of that absorbs your life. , it takes your life, and that happens to anyone, the most exalted person or the most humble person, the university professor with his great titles, the millionaire in his corner office on the fortieth floor, on a big city, the president of a nation, the most developed poet, in the long run there under all that foliage there is a nervous system that is wearing out, there is a person who when the crisis of life comes, will need something beyond himself. Men and nations suffer and wear out and lose strength, because they do not have life in themselves, the only one who has life in himself is Christ Jesus. And we have to stick to something bigger than ourselves, you know, a car needs gasoline, an airplane needs fuel, a submarine needs perhaps an atomic force, a laser beam needs something, the earth itself needs the sun and its strength to renew itself, everything what exists needs to be attached to another source of energy, because it uses energy and requires something to renew its energy. You and I need energy and that energy comes from Christ Jesus. He is life, life is in Him, learn to live plugged into the person of Jesus. That is why Jesus says remain in me and I in you. Brothers we have to learn to live life in Christ Jesus, fight your battles with Christ in Christ Jesus. And when you have a great disappointment or a great suffering in your life, time to stick to Jesus so that he heals you and cleanses you. When you have a big problem that you don't know how to solve, go and stick to Jesus and ask him, Lord, transmit your wisdom to my life. When the end of the day comes and you are tired and perhaps even a little doubtful of your own salvation, stick to Jesus again, pray to the Lord, cry out to the Lord, praise God, connect with that eternal dimension, so that your life may be renewed. , your energies are renewed, live life sticking continuously to Christ Jesus, because He is the source of life, He is the source of healing and salvation, as it was for Lazarus, Christ wants to be for you.

This week I was very moved by the story of a professor at Princeton University, a man apparently at the peak of his career, I saw his photo on the internet, it made a big impact on me because I studied in the same department where this man taught, and I know something of how the world where he was moved, and I am sure that I was in one of the classrooms when I was much younger in which he taught, and that is why listening to his drama and tragedy made such an impact on me, and all week I was thinking about him, a man, a Spaniard, a lecturer at Princeton University, it was for reasons of internal politics, it is not known exactly what happened, but his contract was not renewed, after five years They were supposed to review his contract and for different reasons they didn't renew his contract, a man who was apparently well loved by the undergraduate students, but had problems with the graduate students.

The case was that this attractive man, because I saw his photo, almost a movie star, in his forties, I believe to the fullest, and I'm sure brilliant for being able to be teaching at a university like that, but when they didn't renew him the contract, he got so desperate that he went to his house that he had in New York and there he took a knife and stabbed himself to death, and he bled to death alone in his house, because they had taken away his work contract, and one He wonders, well, why a person with so many possibilities, because if he was teaching at that great university, he could probably find work in many other places, but probably his affection and his hope put him in that name, in that place, in that profession.

Most likely this man who could give so much to the world, his life was limited to time and space, to the time and here of academic achievements, and when that link was cut off, he had nothing else, he had no access to eternity. He had nothing to qualify that great loss, that great tragedy in his life, I am sure that if he had known Christ Jesus, well, he might have cried a little because it is okay to be disappointed by the loss of an illusion, but we know that life is much more than a profession, life is much more than a man or a woman we love, life is much more than a job, life is much more than a house, all these things are won and lost again brothers, what we have is eternal life, salvation in Christ Jesus, our eternal destiny assured, we know that in this world everything is temporary, because we have taken a great pill of eternity, and that dilutes all things of this world, yeah great triumphs come, if the great admiration of men, we take it with a grain of salt, we do not let it fill our heads, and if great losses come we know that this is relative, it is temporary, the important thing is that we have an eternity secured for us through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

If you are attached to Christ, the great tragedies of life then do not kill you, they do not hurt you as much, and another thing when we are attached to the life of Christ, it is like you are always expending energy, wasting energy, but you are also continually receiving energy, you are renewing yourself day by day says the word of the Lord, so problems and struggles come but you know that, instead of these things wearing you down and absorbing your strength, on the contrary it says that the inner man becomes it is renewed from day to day, the outer man wears out, the beauty of youth is lost, the skin is lost, very tight, very beautiful, many things go south downwards, but the interior spirit is renewed from day to day. Day by day, we become more beautiful every day, more tolerable, kinder, more generous, wiser, more capable of advising others, because we are attached to the source of life that is Christ Jesus, hallelujah.

I don't know about you but I feel better and better and stronger, and more excited about life than ever. Because Christ is the source of my blessing. I know that everything that the devil throws at me I hit a home run out of the field, everything that comes to my field I hit it out, because I have the grace of Christ in my life, and so can you do it too Even if problems come, problems are simple steps that you use to grow and to move forward in Christ Jesus, because He is the source of life and you use everything. I wish this nation understood this, I wish the nations of the world understood that, how easy life would be if humanity found its source of life, the risen Christ Jesus, the one who laid down his life for us but also took it again, and then he ascended and sat down at the right hand of God the Father.

A second thing, and I'm going faster, and it's about, not only does this passage not only show me that Christ is the source of life in himself, He has life and embodies the hope of all creation, but also through of the resurrection of Christ Jesus, it reminds me of something and that is, his resurrection gives me the right to aspire to my own resurrection day, the bible says that one day the trumpet will be blown and the dead in Christ will rise first, and we who Once we have stayed, we will be lifted into the air, and we will meet Him in the air, and while we are transported, we will experience a transformation of our own bodies, and what will ascend to heaven will be a man, a woman completely transformed, right? How wonderful that because Christ rose, he was the pioneer, when he rose again he opened a path, through which all of us who are in Christ will also arrive, I know that this world is not everything, my death here is simply something instant taneo, fleeting, what's more, I'm never going to like death, because the moment my body stops working it's because I'll already be with Him, what the Christian does when he dies is that he passes from a poor life, limited, partial, imperfect, instantly to a perfect, pure life, without stain without wrinkle, without difficulties without troubles, we go from the temporary to the eternal in an instant.

The apostle Paul in first Corinthians chapter 15 says so, but now Christ has risen from the dead, firstfruits of those who fell asleep, in other words he was the firstborn, he was the prototype, he was the one who opened the way, he was the model, he was the one who established the precedent, then he says because death entered through a man, Adam, also through a man Christ the resurrection of the dead. But each one will rise in his due order, Christ the firstfruits, then those who are Christ's at his coming, then the end when he hands over the kingdom to God and the Father, and when he has abolished all dominion, all authority and power, because it is necessary let him reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

Do you know, brother, what a beautiful truth, there is a plan that God has. The resurrection of Christ was what started a whole process, I know that this world is not everything for me in terms of death and life, I told the brothers that every day it becomes more difficult for me to mourn a person for too long has died, be it a loved one or a member of my congregation. And I don't think it's because as a pastor one gets used to officiating at so many funerals and one, like doctors, one loses sensitivity and becomes as hard as death, no, I think it's because, as time goes by, I I am more convinced that when a child of God dies, in Christ Jesus, in reality if there is a moment when one cries, because it is natural, one will no longer see a person in the same way that he saw them before, if we cry to a person when they go on a trip for a few months, or when we say goodbye to our countries and return here to the United States or vice versa, it is natural, even when we know that we will see them again, I think it is natural for us to cry, but you know that When we have already mourned our loved ones, we also have to thank God because now they are enjoying an existence that we would like to enjoy, they are in a place of eternal peace, of great blessing, of great rest, we could not describe what happens from there but I know that it is good and that it is worth fighting for it.

Christ established a pattern, a form, and the Bible already says, where is your victory oh sepulcher, where is your victory oh death where is your sting tomb or vice versa, the fact is that the poison, the definitive character was already taken from it to death, so life is death in victory, he says, the victory of Christ overwhelmed the meaning of death, for the children of God death has no meaning, do not be afraid of death, perhaps fear psychologically that pinch that gives you they give when you die, because there will always be something that will happen through death, an accident, an illness, a death in a hospital, a heart attack, no one enters eternal life elegantly, there is always something that It doesn't happen, it's like a child is not born without blood, water, screams, people running from here to there, life is always given like this, you know that eternal life is the same too, you always have to go through an atrium of illness , or suffering, or something, there is always a tear or that it has to happen, but you know that, on the other side, something bright, beautiful, perfect, beautiful awaits you, so do not fear death, as a child of God you no longer know death, you are already living eternity now, we are children of eternity because Christ rose from the dead, and we also have our own life.

And the last thing we see here in this passage, and by the way, where I see this because I noticed, through the power of Christ, Lazarus was resurrected, and Lazarus was like a prototype of resurrection. You do look later in the passage that we read where Christ says to Martha, "Martha, do you believe that I can raise Lazarus from the dead?" but Jesus tells him "I am the resurrection and the life, whoever believes in me, even though he is dead, will live". That is to say, in the mind of Jesus there was that drama, right?, of resurrection, He was resurrecting Lazarus, but He also knew that Lazarus was like a foretaste of the resurrection that all his followers would experience on the day of resurrection. So we see here, Christ, the source of life in himself, a great deposit of life to which we must all cling to be renewed day by day, to be able to walk this path, until we reach the end.

Secondly, Christ, our hope of resurrection and eternal life, through his resurrection that he opens the way to our resurrection.

Thirdly, I also see here that Christ through his resurrection wants to show his power, today, now, here in your daily dramas, when you get up tomorrow, how many of you have to go to work tomorrow, raise your hand, ah, It's hard to think about that, no, look how cute you guys look here, what's more, we don't even want to think about tomorrow, but tomorrow like Cinderella we have to get up, let's go to that alarm clock, I don't want to depress but I want to make a dramatic point through this, right?

we are going to get up and go back to everyday life, we still have a few hours left before the clock strikes, midnight, and um, the princess becomes Cinderella again, and maybe we can still go to a good restaurant, enjoy a food, something very nice is waiting for us there in our house, whatever it is, but the truth is that life is waiting, out there as soon as you walk out that door, the reality of life awaits you, and what are we going to do with the machine while it is there in the factory where we work, or in the hustle and bustle of the diner where we work, or the pile up of cars on Route 93, what does the resurrection have to tell us about it.

Well, I want to tell you brothers, that the energy of the resurrection is communicated in the now and in the here, I believe that when Christ rose from the dead, I looked in the spirit world, it was like there was an incredible explosion, lightning of light and energy were expanding from this point in the universe where the risen Christ was, and the universe was never the same again, energy was released.

Do you remember that when the first atomic bomb exploded in Japan, I think it was in the year 49 or 45 around there, when that first atomic bomb exploded and the second one later in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, you know that human history will never be the same, after that those bombs exploded and that humanity realized that the energy of the atom had been released, and that it could cause incredible devastation, that they could kill hundreds of thousands of people, that the world could already be practically destroyed, man could destroy man through that secret energy that contained the atom, then it was understood that there was an energy of death that had been released, and that totally changed the meaning and course of history.

Well, you know that when life exploded in the body of Christ Jesus, and raised him from the dead, the universe understood that something had totally changed too, but the energy that Christ released was life and not death, the energy that Christ released it was already something that was going to be reverberating through all creation, a new power had been released in the universe, darkness, demons, disease, the chaining of the spirit of man, it was no longer something definitive , and now there was a new sheriff in town, it was the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

And every day we can take from that power of the resurrection, the resurrection is not something that happened in the distance, every day we can live in that power of the resurrection, every day we can have access to that power, and I see here something and that is, Marta, Marta does not understand that the fact that Christ is in her drama of the loss of her son, of her brother, forgive me, that gives her the right to understand that her situation is not as tragic as she thinks , the Lord is trying to convince Marta of something, and that is that Marta, you know that I am the solution to your problem, your brother has died, it is true, but here I am, I am the answer, at this moment. Marta thinks that, well, Christ will make the resurrection of her brother possible, but that will be one day over there, in eternity, that's why the Lord tells her again, your brother will rise again, but Marta responds, well, I know he will rise again, in the resurrection, on the last day, in other words, Martha is like many of us many times.

One thing the Lord spoke to me about in this passage this week, brethren, is that God wants this congregation and his people throughout the earth to learn to function more and more with what I call specific faith, as opposed to a specific faith. general or generic, religious faith, Marta has a religious faith, which encourages her to continue with the tragedies of life, to endure them, and to hope that something good will happen to alleviate her situation. I see so many people who live in religion, religion is like their cloth of tears, they can come to church and cry in church, and religion absorbs excess suffering, right? It's like a sponge that you you apply it where a liquid was spilled, you apply that sponge and drink the liquid that is on the surface, but Christ wants more than that, Christ wants to completely nullify the damage today, Christ wants to give you power, Christ wants to give you victory, Christ wants that your faith transform your situation, Christ wants specific faith for the problems of life, because He is with you, you have power over your reality, you can cry out to God, because Christ, because he lives, you can triumph, you can ask him the Lord to heal your body, you can ask the Lord to give you victory in your financial situation. You can ask the Lord to heal your marriage, to heal your housing situation, to heal your emotions, to heal your memory, maybe there are memories from your past that have hurt you, but you know that you can come to Christ and say Lord heal me, Lord give me power, Lord I take authority over every situation in life.

You know that before I came this morning, I was, I'm going to say I was, well affected by a cold that I had, which I think I sort of incubated before leaving here for my trip to Italy and that it fully flourished on my trip. by plane on my return trip, and when I get home I arrive in crisis. And that cold loves me so much that it hasn't wanted to leave me, calling it a cold is doing it a favor, it's more like a completely destructive flu. And this morning I didn't feel like I had the strength to stand here and be here and preach two sermons and stand for several hours.

But you know that brothers I have believed in a Christ of power, and I wanted to be with you and I wanted to declare the word of God together with my brothers, I did not want your pastor to be there and I have a cold, I am sick, and to be sitting there like a beggar let's say. I know we have good preachers, glory to God for our pastors who preach so well, who do such a good job. But I have believed in a God who strengthens us, I have believed in a God who goes beyond our weaknesses, I have believed that in God that if we entrust ourselves to Him, He gets the answer from somewhere, and I give glory to God because I think that at least I have not made a fool of myself by standing here in front of you.

I can truly say, as the Apostle Paul says, I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me, and when I say that I immediately lower it to my reality, to my specific need. Be it a cold, be it a headache, be it a terminal illness, be it a financial problem, be it a ministerial problem, I have believed that the risen Christ is with me, today, now, here, and that I can reach Him and tell him here is my tomb Lord, here is my Lazarus, here is my dead man, you are the Christ of the resurrection. I put my problem in your space, you take care of it, you take care of it.

My brother, when we learn to live life like this, there is no devil that has power over your life, there is no disease that has the power to say the last word, you can be a winner, brother, you can find in your tragedy something redemptive, something that lift your life, you can find meaning in all things. The world becomes something wonderful, good and bad speak to you, your problems become stepping stones to greater greatness. I don't know about you but I find meaning in everything that happens in my life, because Christ is with me. And when a process comes that takes time to resolve, I say to the Lord, how long and that You want me to learn from it. So, remember that, the Christ of the resurrection goes with you.

He not only wants to give you a life there in the distant future, but He wants to walk with you in your situation today. When you have problems, when the devil is attacking you, throw Christ on top of you, point to Christ and say hey, the one I have with me is greater than the one in the world, and give your grave to the Lord, give your grave to the Lord. death. So let's go with that this afternoon, Christ, the source of life, has life in himself, he is a great deposit of life, and if I remain attached to him, I can drink of his strength. Christ as the one who guarantees my future resurrection, the one who has defeated death and the one who has also defeated my death, I do not have to be afraid of death, I already live in eternity, I can live a peaceful life, and I can bury to my dead, and I can wait for my moment of departure, knowing that all my papers are in order, and I enter an eternal life. Thirdly, Christ lives with me, the resurrection is a reality today, my day, every day, every problem, every situation, I take a resurrection pill, I take a dose of resurrection, and I say thank you Christ, you defeated death , and together with death you defeated everything that smelled of darkness, destruction, tragedy, suffering, loss, darkness, bitterness, you took everything in a great avalanche of life, light, love, that is the resurrection of Jesus. I hope that message reaches your heart, and that tomorrow when you leave for work, when the bell rings, you are ready to run the race of faith lightly.

And I want, before we finish, let's lower our heads for a moment, and I want to make a call to everyone who is here, first of all to those who have not yet given their lives to the Lord Jesus, maybe there is someone here who has not put their hand in the hand of Jesus, he has not been plugged into the source of life that is Jesus Christ, he has not had that moment to make his pact with Jesus Christ. He knows that the Lord likes when one invites him, that's why I say, the Lord doesn't work as much as a general, generic fu, the Lord wants specific faith. The Lord always approached people with first and last names, specific people, and had dialogues with them. Specific people always approached Jesus and asked Jesus for something, and that activated something in the person of Jesus, and that distinguished those people from the crowd, and the Lord realized that something had touched him in a different way than like everyone else had touched him, and here is a crowd right now, and the Lord would like you to reach out to Him, and open the door of your heart.

That may seem like a useless and meaningless gesture to you, but we who have already done it know that it has power, it has an impact in the world of the spirit, when a man or a woman say right now the floodgates of my heart open for You to enter, because You once said that You are at the door and knock, and if someone hears your knock and opens the door, You would enter him or her, and she would dine with you, he would dine with you, and you with him or her. And I want to invite my brothers and my sisters, if someone has come this afternoon and has not taken that step of faith yet, I want to provide that opportunity, before finishing this service, because I would like that opportunity for you to do that ceremony like this. very simple and brief, but which has an eternal meaning.

So if someone would like us to pray for you this afternoon, and commit your life to the Lord Jesus, I would like to see your hand go up now, and I would just like to pray for you, and through your raising your hand you tell the Lord Jesus, Lord, I receive you as my lord and my savior, as a source of life, for my life, I see a brother there raising his hand, other hands are raised, I'm not even going to ask you to come forward here for now, Just raise your hand where you are, the Lord listens, those hands have power, they have meaning, this sister is coming here with her partner, her son, her grandson, amen, if you want to come forward here fine, if not stay there where you are, simply stand up, stand up if you are there, we are going to pray for you, I know there are many people, if you have the facility to come here, fine, if not we are going to pray from where you are, as you feel in your heart, but I want to bless you, if you want ere come let's wait for you, and remember what you are doing this afternoon, you are putting your hand in the hand of Jesus, this young man has many years ahead of him and that's good, because when we come to the Lord sometimes already in our adulthood Sometimes we have already gone through a lot of difficulties, right? But it's good when one in youth can tell him Lord, I want now that my future, which is quite long, I want to live it in You, with your protection, with your care, with your support , that is wonderful.

So we are going to pray for these brothers and sisters, and those who raised their hands and perhaps have not come forward, amen, but I bless you there where you are and the Lord sees, that is what has power. Someone else still rise up, stand up, dare in the name of Jesus, dare in the name of Jesus. These things have power and have meaning my brothers, I assure you that there is something very powerful in it, the world of the spirit obeys those prophetic gestures that we make, they are keys that operate in the spiritual world, it is something very wonderful and very powerful What happens, so, stand up there, and tell him Lord, you are my sustenance, my source of power, and I want to live my life with you, stuck to You, stuck to You.

I bless your life my brother my sister, I bless your life in the name of Jesus, and right now tell him Lord Jesus come into my heart, tell him like this, come into my heart, come into my heart, reign in my life, I give you my heart Lord Jesus, I want to know you and I want to be known by You, I want to be known by You Lord, come into my life, reign in my life, walk with me, I am your property, I am your servant, your servant, and I will walk every day of my life with You, until the last day, until you enter me into eternity.

And I bless your life in the name of Jesus and I declare the lordship of the one who defeated death, defeated darkness, defeated sin, and now communicates his life to you as well. Thank you Lord, I bless my sisters and my brothers now, give them joy, give them peace, give them your power, hallelujah. And finally to all my brothers and sisters who already know Jesus and want to reaffirm their relationship with Christ, stand up and raise your hand and say: Lord Jesus, thank you for freeing me, thank you for making me your bearer of life here on earth, thank you for giving me my own resurrection, thank you because in You I have power, I have victory, I have hope, I have glory, nothing can touch me, no one can accuse me, because I have been healed, and I have been released, and I have been forgiven, for He who gave his life for me on the cross of Calvary, and because he took it again through the resurrection, in you Lord I am also free, thank you.

And Satan looks at my raised hand, I am the daughter and son of God, and you have no part or lot with me, Satan declares that you have no power over this community, because it is a community redeemed by the blood of the lamb, it is a community that He dwells under the power of the resurrection.

And each day our life will be better, and each day we will have greater victories, and each day we will understand more the mysteries of the gospel, and each day we will have more power to obtain healing for our diseases, to live prosperous lives, so that our children may be blessed, so that our homes are places of peace, so that our emotions are subject to the order and beauty of your kingdom. And death has no power over this community, we will go from better to better, we will go from triumph to triumph, we will go from greatness to greatness, because Christ and his resurrection cover our life. Thank you Lord, we praise you, we bless you, thank the Lord, give glory to the Lord, celebrate your chosen status, privileged as a member of the kingdom of God, hallelujah, we praise you, we bless you Lord, thank you for your resurrection, I bless you people of God, get out of here ready to live a victorious life, rain, shine or wind, you have the victory through the resurrection of Christ Jesus, amen, and amen.
