Summary: The eyes of God are always upon us, watching over our lives and paying attention to all aspects of our life. God's desire is to enrich our lives, and he is always attentive to our needs. Biblical references such as Psalm 32:8, Psalm 33:18, Psalm 34:15, and Jeremiah 24:4-7 all affirm God's watchful eye upon us. God watches over us to choose those whom he wants to bless with an intimate relationship with him, like Joshua, Gideon, and David in the Bible. Even when we are minding our own business, God is watching and paying attention to our actions and thoughts. The pastor reminds us that we need to be intentional in developing a good friendship with God and others around us.

The pastor speaks about how God's eyes are always on us and how there are benefits and challenges that come with that. The benefits include God's protection, guidance, and desire to be active in our lives. The challenges include being careful of our actions and living in a way that brings joy to God's eyes. The pastor ends with a personal testimony of how God comforted her during a difficult time.

The speaker prayed for guidance and their son turned on the radio, which happened to be playing a preacher's message about God watching over us and extending grace and favor. The speaker asks for the message to come alive in their hearts and for God's blessing and guidance in their lives. They end the prayer with gratitude and a request for peace and grace.

Look, the eyes of God are upon you. It doesn't lose you in the corners, or on the slopes, or when it's night or when it's day. God's eyes are upon you. There is a very nice passage, in Second Chronicles, Chapter 16, verse 9 that says:

"... For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show his power in behalf of those whose hearts are perfect toward him..."

This sounds harsh, it sounds nice but it sounds harsh. Because having a perfect heart toward God, interesting. But write it down there.

Second Chronicles, Chapter 16, verse 9, it is more for you to read it there, it says:

"... Because the eyes of Jehovah contemplate the whole earth to show his power, he is not saying anything else, he is saying to show his power in favor of those who have a perfect heart towards him..."

Let me not scare you too many, my brothers, because the fact that you have a perfect heart does not mean that you have perfection, that you live perfectly. But the one who has a perfect heart means that you have a heart devoted to him, devoted to God. A heart that goes out of its way for God.

And look at this thought that I want to bring with you, it arises in light of all these reflections that we have been talking about about friendship, about being able to develop a good friendship with God, with other people around us. How intentional one has to be, or the intentionality required to work that friendship dynamic.

And all this that affirms me is the idea that God is always looking at us. Amen. At least someone heard what I said. God is always looking at us. Ok half now heard me. He is always paying attention to all aspects of our life. Jesus says in Matthew, Chapter 6, that if he takes care of the birds, he will also take care of us.

If he takes care that each one of the little birds that are flying around, that each one of them can even have their grain of seed or something that they can bite, that they can eat, how many more will he not take care of? for us, and to watch over us, to be aware of our needs, in order to enrich our lives. Because I believe that this is God's desire: to enrich our lives.

Jesus himself says it, that the enemy came to kill, steal and destroy, but that Jesus has come to give life and give it in abundance. Amen. Look, I think it's good to know that God's eyes are on us. It is good to have that certainty that God is watching us, that God is watching and watching over us. And there are several biblical references. Look, the Bible is full, if you look in a concordance for something that talks about the eyes of God, the word eyes comes up a lot of times.

But I focused on my favorites and many of you. In Psalm 32, verse 8, for example, look at how he says:

“… I will make you understand ─ this is God speaking to us, he says ─…. I will make you understand and I will teach you the way you should walk and I will fix my eyes on you..."

I will make you understand. Is anyone confused here tonight? Nobody wants to declare themselves confused. Is there anyone who has any doubts about what they are going to do tomorrow or how they are going to solve any situation that you have? I mean, it's not what I'm saying, amen to the confusion, mind you. But I do love the fact that God is going to make us understand and he is going to teach us the way we should walk. In other words, he's going to show us the exit where we can get out, excuse me the redundancy.

And above all things upon you I will fix my eyes. Psalm 33 verse 18 says:

“…The eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his mercy…”

How cute. The eye, not the, the eye, imagine God with a patch saying, the eye of Jehovah, no, no, imagine the eye of God, the eye of God is on those who fear him. We fear the Lord? Are we afraid of him? We revere who he is? We honor who he is Do we love what he is, what he means in the midst of our lives? If so, if that fear is in our lives, we can be sure that God will be attentive to each one of us: those who hope in his mercy.

Psalm 34, verse 15 says that:

"The eyes of the Lord are upon the just and his ears are attentive to their cry..."

The eyes of Jehovah are on the righteous. Does anyone consider themselves fair here? amen. Like am I or am I not? We are just because we are justified by the blood of Christ, so that is where our justification is seen. But this one, and attentive your ears to their cry.

Look at this other one, this one fascinated me, it made me think a lot, Jeremiah, Chapter 24, I'm taking you through different verses, so write it down because I'm not expecting us to have a Bible competition now. But write down those verses, Jeremiah 24, from 4 to 7. Look how he says this, the prophet Jeremiah is speaking and he says:

“…The word of the Lord came to me, saying, Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, as to these good children, so I will regard the exiles of Judah, whom I have driven from this place to the land of the Chaldeans for their good. .. ─ verse 6 says ─… because I will set my eyes on them for good…”

Oh, oh, “…I will set my eyes on them for good and I will bring them back to this land, I will build them up and not destroy them, I will plant them and not uproot them…”

Look at that, that is, if you wanted to receive a word of encouragement tonight, there you have it. I can now close here and you can go home and eat ice cream, as I always say, or ice cream for those who understand that word, ice cream in English. At some point a comment will appear on the internet. That pastor is always telling people to eat ice cream for the diet.

For I will set my eyes on them for good and bring them back to this earth, I will build them up and not destroy them, I will plant them and not uproot them. And this is where it is, as they say, the strawberry on top of the frosting.

"... And I will give them a heart so that they know me that I am Jehovah and they will be my people and I will be their God because they will turn to me with all their hearts..."

Look how cute. In other words, God is telling you to know, like I want you to know me. As I know you, remember last Wednesday that we were talking about Psalm 139 that there is no word in my mouth, and Lord, behold, you know it. In other words, God knows us, my brothers. And God wants us to know him as he knows us. This is big, this is deep, because that is quite broad knowledge and God wants that knowledge to be there.

And he lets us know that this is his intention, why? Because it tells us, I'm watching you man. I am watching over you, and it is not that I am watching over you as if you are doing something wrong, but that he is ready, he is attentive to you, to your need, to your situation.

Look, God watches, that verse from Chronicles that we were reading, it says, God watches, it's like the eyes of God are scanning the whole earth, looking at the whole earth to choose those whom he wants to bless with an intimate relationship with each one of them to use.

I can mention some examples. You know the story of Joshua, right? When is the first reference to Joshua in the Bible? Let see, how many know the Bible? That's a tough question, because they're going to tell me Joshua 1:9 right? Deuteronomy, Chapter 31. And what is the first reference of Joshua. They have homework there, then they tell me. Start with Numbers, with Numbers that is where you begin to read the character of Josué.

But look, Joshua, God had his eyes on him. What did Joshua do? Joshua got to be the successor of whom? Of Moses. Yes, he started out as a spy, but to be the successor to Moses required a lot. That means that God was watching over him for a long time. God had his eyes on him for a long time. And when the time came, he began to say to Moisés, Moisés, look at this boy over there, this is going to be your successor. I have seen it, I have chosen it.

Another character who was also like that was Gideon. What happened to Gideon? Gideon was hiding, he was afraid. And what does the biblical account say? This fascinates me, because it says that when the angel of Jehovah appeared to him, he says that the angel of Jehovah looked at him. He wasn't saying that some shepherd boy out there showed up and looked at him mercifully, blinking. No. The angel of Jehovah approached him and looked at him, said to him, man, a strong, courageous, mighty man of Jehovah. I? If you.

Those eyes penetrated to the depths of that boy's soul. And they changed his whole perspective of himself, they changed it completely.

Another one, David. What happened when all of David's brothers began to parade? Check this out. We are talking about the prophet Samuel who was high class, so to speak that prophet, when he arrives there at Jesse's house, David's brothers begin to file, and Eliab came out first, when he saw him tall, strong, as well as Fabio, beefy and what did I say? The u got stuck with the o, sorry. I have to review the alphabet. Well-built. Think about that, please.

When Eliab came out, what did Samuel think? Samuel, God's prophet, God's inspired man, says this is who he is. And what did God say to him? Do not look at his appearance, because he is a stocky man, because I discard him. It's not that I discard you. No.

And when they continued parading, God said, next. Next. Next. And, okay, what happened? Do you have any more, do you have any more lying around hiding? Ah, yes, the least of all who is out there in the field getting dirty with the goats and sheep. Go, bring it. When he brought it, what did he say? God told Samuel, this is who he is. The weakest, the little one, that one was beefy, but that was the one that God chose.

Look at this, look how interesting. Jesus when he was choosing his disciples. I want you to imagine this, because Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John talk about this. That every time Jesus went to choose one of his disciples, what did he say? Jesus was preaching, teaching in the synagogue, performing miracles, and suddenly, a phrase comes out, and while Jesus stopped, he was passing by, he saw so-and-so. He saw them in what they were doing and told them, follow me.

He was still teaching there, and suddenly, he passed by another side and saw Mengano and Zutano and told them, come after me. And they followed him. In Lucas I like it much more, because after he had, as it were, a crowd of people around him, of people who were following him, perhaps for the days that he began his ministry, Lucas says, and this is in Luke, Chapter 6, verse 12, it says that:

“…Jesus took time to go and pray before choosing his 12 disciples…”

And this is very particular to me because it was a combination of paying attention to people, looking at people, seeing, knowing what is in the hearts of people, and they were not perfect men, it is clear, but when he went up there to pray, who knows if Jesus had a list of about 30 people, kind of look, he was talking to God, he and God alone. Dad, look at these 30 people, they're all potential candidates, very good. But what do you think, we are going to get names from here. It wasn't that they were bad, but there was a specific purpose with those 12 and in that time of prayer he went check, check, check and that's where he got his 12.

But what I like the most is that he noticed them. They were there, doing their thing. Look, this is where the beauty of this is. You can be doing your things, you can be minding your own business, and with all that without you knowing it, God is watching you, God is watching you. In the office when you're working, you're grudgingly organizing papers, or you're like, wow, thank you Lord, because at least I have a job, others don't and here I am. Or you're over there washing your family's clothes, and you're all cranky, oh, I have to be here washing clothes instead of them washing their own panties. God is watching that action. God is looking at that thinking.

Ah, look, that pastor who thinks he knows everything. Hey, God is watching that and it covers us pastors too. Look, this is the most interesting thing, you know that the pastor has been preaching from Acts on Sundays, he resumed those preachings. I don't know how many of you listened when he started talking about Saul. Did they get to hear that?

Look, I had an epiphany, if you will, when I heard him talking about Saul, because the first time he talked about Saul was when he was stoning Stephen, right? And the Bible itself says so, what's more, I'm going to look for this one, Acts, Chapter 8, look how it says, I liked this, starting at 7, excuse me. Acts Chapter 7, verse 55 says:

“…But they were filled with the Holy Spirit, looking up to heaven, they saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of God and said, behold, I see the heavens open, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God. Then they covered their ears with a loud voice and rushed at him together, and casting him out of the city, they stoned him, and the witnesses laid their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul..."

That's where it starts, they remember when the pastor says that suddenly in this scene it's like the camera focuses on this character, the camera goes by and Saul is seen picking up people's clothes, witnessing all this that was happening , and leaves the scene. Look at what Chapter 8, verse 1 says:

"... And Saul consented to his death..."

In other words, that Saul was giving the go-ahead, the green light on Stephen's death. And verse 3 says:

“…And Saul stormed the church and entering house by house, devastated men and women and delivered them to jail…”

Look, when I read this and was listening to the preaching of the pastor, I said to myself, wow! This is super interesting. Because how does it say that Saul's conversion happened? As he was on his way to Damascus, a great light surrounded him, so what? He dropped it from where? He knocked him off the horse. Are you sure? Let's confirm that. Does it say horse or does it not say horse? How many say it says horse? Let's go to the Bible. Acts, Chapter 9, verse 3 says:

"... More as he was going along the road, it happened that when he got close to Damascus, a flash of light from heaven suddenly surrounded him and, falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?..."

Obviously one says that he was knocked off the horse because one imagines that he is traveling but it could have been a horse, it could have been a donkey, it could have been a camel, it could have been a bicycle, it could have been on foot.

But look at this. The point I want to make is that Jesus chose Saul. He chose one of the men who was persecuting him the most, his children, his chosen ones. And I began to think, I don't know if you would agree with me, but we know that Saul was a Pharisee. Saulo grew up as it were, at the feet of Gamaliel who was one of the most recognized Pharisees and priests in Jewish times. Saulo walked through the same synagogues that Jesus also walked. And I can only wonder, and I can only imagine that who knows if Jesus in one of those visits, during his time in life, his three years of ministry, who knows if Jesus entered one of those synagogues Who knows if he saw Saul. Who knows if on one of those occasions Saul was giving a lecture on Isaiah 42 or something like that, and Jesus got in and listened to him, and said, this boy is interesting. It has a little bit of rough edges, but I can work with that very well, but very interesting.

What's more, I even began to think, who knows if when Jesus was carrying the cross on the way to Calvary, who knows if one of the Pharisees who was in that whole procession was Saul. Who knows if Jesus saw it too? That's how it is, Jesus was carrying his cross and suddenly a big eye shot him like that, I have a file on you, see. I'm going to take it out on you. I am carrying this cross because of you, but I catch you coming down. I catch you going down the road to Damascus. And so it happened, God had his eyes on him.

Look, as I said right now, it is something beautiful and precious to know that the eyes of God are upon us. That God is watching you at all times. And look, there are great benefits to thinking about this, there are great benefits to knowing that God is watching me. I can then count on God's care and protection. If his eyes are on me, if his eyes are on you, you can tell that God is taking care of you.

What was Psalm 91 saying when we read it to each other? Let's see if they remember? How did it start? He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will abide under the shadow of the Almighty. That psalm is talking about God's protection over our lives. A thousand will fall to your left and ten thousand to your right, but they will not reach you.

So that aspect that God is looking at, is looking at us. We can surely count on God's protection over our lives. A second point that I can mention is the mere fact that he is going to be willing to teach us, to give us direction, to give us the guidance that our lives need.

Like that 32nd psalm I read at the beginning. I will teach you and show you the way you should walk, and I will fix my eyes on you.

God wants us to be a people who know and know. God does not want his sons and daughters to be walking around ignorant, chanting for life. He wants us to be well understood about his will, his purposes for our lives, and he wants to make them known. That's why he's watching us.

And a third point that I can say is that this shows his desire, God's desire, his intention, his interest to be active in each of our lives. Look, if there is someone who is very hyperactive, it is God, and I am not saying it in the bad sense of the word, I am saying it in the sense that God always has this desire to be able to do something in our midst, to be able to do something through us, that perhaps the situations around us in life tell us like, you are worthless, you cannot do anything, you are a zero to the left and well, well to the left. No, God tells you, no, quite the opposite, you are a zero to the right. You give value to the equation, because I give you value, and I want to work with you and I want to work on you, heal your heart, heal your wounds, equip you, prepare you so that then you can be a blessing to others too. Those are the things I want to do in you. That's why I have my eyes on you.

And there are times when you want to flee from my eyes, as I said, I'll come back again, Psalm 139, which we were talking about last Wednesday, ah, if I caught the wings of dawn and lived at the other end of the sea, whatever I wanted there you would reach me If I try to hide in the dark, as I want there your eyes are watching me.

God wants to be active in the midst of our lives, in your life. Let me move on then. That will be the… of the message. Now, just as there are benefits, there are also hard sides. What would be the difficult side of the fact that God's eyes are upon us? The most I can think is, be careful what you do. Be careful what you do because they are watching you. Omar, be careful what you do because they are watching you. I tell myself.

Right now I read from Jeremiah 24, now I read you from Jeremiah 16, verse 16 and 17 that says, look, God is speaking and says:

“… I will send many fishermen, says the Lord, and they will catch them, and then I will send many hunters and they will hunt them on every mountain, on every hill and in the caverns of the rocks. For my eyes are on all his ways, which are not hidden from me, nor is his wickedness hidden from the presence of my eyes..."

God is very clear. Just as he says that his eyes are on the just and blesses the just, the one who isn't very fair is going to need water like me. God is very clear, my brothers. If we do not live in a way that is pleasing in the eyes of God.

In Deuteronomy he says, hey, behold, I set life and death before you. You are given a multiple choice test. This is your exam, I put life and death before you. Pick. A, B, A: life, B: death. There is no c that says all of the above, right? and see if God is good that he gives you the answer, that then he tells you, choose life. Gives you the answer to the exam. Choose life. The life he gives.

Look, if I were to end this, my brothers, I understand that we have to thank the fact that God is watching over us. When the temple was being built with Solomon, he told him, now my eyes are going to be on this house, the prayers, the prayers that are made on this house, my glory is going to be here.

And I believe, that in the same way, the eyes of God are on this house as well. God's eyes are here on this place and when God's eyes are here on this place, look, that means when you get in here, buckle up because you're going to fly. There's something that God does when you come in here in this place. And I'm not saying it's magic or anything like that, but just the fact that you're part of a church like this, when God's attention is fixed on this church, look, there's something happening, there's something happening in the place as well as in his life. You are getting into, as they say, a radioactive cloud and when you get in there, it is not that you are going to come out with a third eye on your forehead, but you are going to come out with something in your heart from God.

So we have to be thankful for that fact that God has his children, his eyes on us. That instead of us cowering, we must have the courage and courage to face life knowing that he watches over us. Instead of seeing a problem, that's ugly, that's difficult, I can't deal with it. Look, take heart, take courage, because God is watching you, he is watching over you, he is giving you the strength, the tools, the resources you need to be able to face that and much more.

And finally, look that God gives us the wisdom to live in such a way that we always bring joy to his eyes. Passage that says, the joy of the Lord is my strength. The joy of the Lord comes when we live the way he wants us to live. If I bring joy to God's eyes, I am sure that he will give me the strength, the wisdom, everything I need to be able to move forward.

So, my brothers, I leave you with this word. I hope that this word is of encouragement, of support to their lives. So remember, as you walk out of here, God is watching you, God is watching over your life.

We end with a testimonial. Amen.

It is clear that I did not know that he was going to preach about that today. So much time that I have participated on Wednesdays before, I was there on that side and now here. There are times when things have happened to me that when I see Omar's message, like my heart flutters, it's like you're talking to me, Lord. And yesterday, I had a very difficult day. I have been experiencing many changes in my life for months, changes and changes and changes and in recent times I have felt such great sadness that I cannot find much of an explanation.

And yesterday I was alone at home with my son, who is two years old, and there came a moment when he wanted to play with me and he wanted to do so many things, and I was seized by such great sadness that I didn't I didn't even know what to do. And I sat on the furniture and watched him walk, play, he wanted me to be with him. But I didn't feel well, I felt so, so sad. And I began to pray to the Lord, I told him, Lord, heal my emotions, Father, look, don't give me anything else, I put all the requests that I have before you, money, finances, work, papers Look, don't give me any of that, heal my emotions, Lord, because my son needs a healthy mom. My wife needs a healthy wife. Heal my mind, heal my will, heal me, Lord, because I don't feel well.

Well, I prayed like this and in one moment I couldn't take it anymore, I threw myself on the bed. And my son is hanging around me, hanging around me, hanging around me and he does like this and turns on the radio. Usually when he turns on the radio and he listens to music or whatever, he changes it or turns it up, or turns it down, or changes the station, but he doesn't leave it there. And he played, it was my alarm clock radio, and when he hit the button that the radio turned on, there was a preacher saying:

“The Lord wants to heal your emotions. The Lord wants to heal your will. The Lord wants to heal your mind. The Lord wants to heal you." And that man began to preach and preach in a way, but it was at the right time. And when I heard that, I couldn't believe what I was hearing and I was saying, that is, when I heard those words, exactly so verbatim, exactly as I had prayed to the Lord, I began to cry and cry. I was like, oh my god, you're looking at me. And I'm like, oh my gosh, I can't believe my son turned on the radio right then and I'm hearing exactly the words that I needed to hear. I would say, my God, and I would run all over the house and I would cry, and I would say, my God, you are looking at me. You are looking at me. Your eyes are on me. I thanked God, Omar, for that word. Thank you.

Thank you Lord Jesus. Stand up, my brothers, let's pray. Thank you Lord because your eyes are on us, my God. You are watching every step that we take, Lord, you watch our lying down and our rising, Lord, our entry and our exit, Jesus. Everything we do, everything we say, Lord, you are so aware of each of these things and the most you do is extend your grace and your favor over our lives constantly, Lord, like a fountain that does not stop.

Father, I ask that each one of my brothers and sisters here tonight, those who are here and those who have seen us on the internet, Lord, I ask that this word that has been spoken today, Lord, that this word comes alive in our hearts. look Lord, that when we leave here we can feel the weight of your eyes on us, the weight of your gaze, Lord, but not a look that overwhelms, but a look that inspires confidence, that inspires certainty, that inspires hope for our lives , knowing, Lord Jesus, that you are in total control of what we are.

So, Father, look, we left here with courage, we left here firmly, Lord, we left here knowing that you are paying attention to our lives, Lord, and that you want to extend your blessing on us. So, Father, we leave here confidently, Lord, knowing that you are the best that we can have, Lord, that our requests are safe in you, Lord, and that you will give the answers in due time, God.

Take us safely to our homes, Lord, allow us to rest tonight, recharge our batteries, Lord Jesus, and tomorrow if you allow it, Father, see that we can make use of a new day and be able to achieve what you have given us. call to do

Bless your people, Lord, tonight. Upon each of us grant us your peace, your grace, your blessing, through your Son Jesus we pray and thank you. Amen, Lord Jesus. Thanks God. Thank my Lord.
