A momentum, a divine impetus

Summary: The author speaks about how God is moving in our lives and how we need to have the correct discernment, intention, and heart to be able to discern it. He speaks about the divine momentum or impetus that God provides, which is like an energy that comes from God that we cannot manipulate but rather comes directly from him. He gives examples from the Bible of people like Joseph and the people of Israel who experienced a divine momentum despite adverse circumstances. The author encourages us to understand how God moves in our lives and to accept and receive it.

In this message, the speaker reflects on the story of the Israelites in Egypt and how they multiplied despite the efforts to contain them. He then shares a personal story of how the Wednesday prayer service at his church initially struggled to attract people, but eventually grew with the help of prayer and faith. The speaker emphasizes the importance of being in the right mindset and having faith to receive God's blessings. He also encourages congregating and being part of a community to promote the momentum of God's movement.

The speaker encourages the audience to seek and be open to the momentum and move of God in their lives, both individually and as a church. He acknowledges that there may be times when it feels like God is not present, but urges the audience to trust in God's intentions for them. He also emphasizes the need for personal growth and character development in order to fully experience God's blessings. The speaker concludes with a prayer for God to open their eyes to his power and intentions in their lives.

The prayer asks for God's guidance and discernment in our lives, to help us maintain faith and courage in all circumstances. It gives thanks for God's presence in all aspects of our lives, from the depths of the earth to the heights, and even in mundane activities like grocery shopping. The prayer concludes with gratitude and praise.

I would like to share with you some things that the Lord had placed in my heart a month and a half ago, more or less, I could say, today what I am going to do is rather complete a message that I brought on a Wednesday. beginning the month of September, several weeks ago. And it has to do with this idea of God's move in the midst of our lives.

And much of this is inspired by this whole series that our pastor Miranda has been preaching concerning the book of Acts, and how the church in the book of Acts experienced a move of God in the midst of their times. And it was a move of God that did not depend on the circumstances in which they were living, which for some reason could be said to be negative circumstances, it was an environment that was somehow opposed to everything that the church was experiencing. , but with everything and that, there was a move, there was a momentum so to speak, an impetus from God who was moving in the midst of his disciples and all those who decided to believe and accept his word.

And I believe, my brothers, that in the same way those words that, or those things that happened in the Church of the Apostles centuries ago, I believe that God is also doing it in our midst, in different ways. But for us to be able to discern them, we need to have precisely that, the correct discernment in our mind, in our spirit, the correct intention of our heart.

Last Tuesday I was at one of the COPANI meetings and the superintendent of the Free Methodist Churches in the northeast area of the United States was preaching. He is an American man and while he was preaching he was so particular to me because he also started preaching from the book of Acts, and I said to myself, wow, the book of Acts is already coming out of my pores. But there is something in the middle of this, there is a purpose in the middle of this. And certainly this man, while he was preaching, at first I cannot deny it, I was a little resistant to the way he was communicating, but halfway through the message this man broke. I believe that he took off his pastor's hat, superintendent of Methodist schools, and began to speak to all the pastors who were there as one of them.

And for me it was so special to be able to hear him say, I long, I am hungry, I am thirsty to see a move of God in the midst of our time. To truly be able to see those miracles that were occurring or that occurred in the church of Acts, to see those miracles occur now in the midst of our times, or to see them in some other way, but the mere fact that something is manifested and of us to be able to know and understand that God was in the midst of those circumstances. That is what he was saying that he longed and wanted to see.

He did not ask a question, what do we have to do to be able to see and understand that? And I can't tell you that I have a specific or correct answer, I can mention some things that we can do, but mostly that move, that momentum. And you understand what I mean by momentum. I am going to explain it myself, but I am referring to that impetus. It is like an energy that comes from God that we cannot manipulate but rather comes directly from him.

I can mention this recent fact that all of us have been hearing about in the news, of the 33 miners that came out of how many feet of depth? 2,300 feet, 2,600 feet underground, plus they all made it out.

Yes, obviously the doctors say that they are going to have complications in the functioning of their lungs, their eyes that maybe for so long that they were in the dark and now seeing the sunlight, but you know what? God invents them to do his thing with people. And I would not be surprised if God decides to contradict the words of all those doctors who have spoken about the complications that these men are going to have and that these men are safe and sound in a couple of weeks.

But what struck me the most about this was the testimony that those men gave in front of the whole world. When each one of them was leaving with that shirt that said, Thank you, Lord Jesus like this on their shoulders, and on the back the verse from Psalm 95, I think it is, Psalm 95, verse 4, "the depths of the earth and the The breadth of the heavens is in the palm of the Lord's hand."

So those men knew very well where they were. And these are the movements, these are the impulses, these are the moments that God is taking advantage of to let it be known that he is in action in the midst of the earth, that he is doing something in the midst of his people, that although perhaps there will be many people who deny their movement, who deny their existence, but even in the midst of all these things, God lets us know, ah, I am not done, I have not finished yet, I am very active in your midst.

But we have to accept and receive that, my brothers. And that is why I have moved to share this with you. And I hope that this meditation from my heart reaches some corner of your heart and that it encourages you to be able to understand how God moves in the midst of your life.

But I titled this message "A momentum, a divine impetus", an impetus, a move. And when I talk about momentum, I imagine that at some point in your life you have experienced what momentum is, right? It sounds redundant but they understand me where I'm going. It's one of those moments like when you wake up in the morning, you wake up with a sense of energy and all you do is put your feet on the floor and already your feet fell into your flip flops fast, you didn't have to look for them , the flip-flops were there, he put his feet. And he went to the kitchen for a moment and he didn't have to be fumbling around looking for the coffee, but that was it… that was it, he turned it on and it started working.

It's the kind of day where all your thoughts start flowing one after the other and with a lucidity that you say, wow, wait, what happened to me today? Or if I give you a more exact example, it's like if you came down Mass avenue, let's say you came from Symphony Hall to get here, and suddenly in a miraculous way all the lights turn green one after the other, and it's like the Red Sea parted in front of me. That is a divine momentum. It's like God allows all things to be orchestrated in your favor.

If you have participated in sports there are times when sports experience this a lot. That when you, like, from the time you leave the block until you reach the finish line, it's like all your movements are coldly calculated and you're not doing it with pressure or tension, but rather all the muscle fibers in your body are flowing in such a way that when you come to see if the competition is over, you got there first.

Or that if you are cooking a cake, a cake, a cake or something and before maybe you read the recipe and it was like how difficult, what's the point now, and suddenly, you throw it in the mixer and the flour flew out everywhere. But now when you're in a momentum it's like everything flows and falls and the cake comes out at the end, delicious.

Do you understand where I am going with the momentum? When I speak of a divine momentum, I mean precisely that, my brothers, I mean the mere fact that it is like God is involved in each one of the things, one after the other, and everything works so that the children and daughters of God can grow and experience what God is doing in their midst.

Now, it may be that the examples I mentioned work kind of, under the right circumstances, like when everything works perfectly fine. But the good thing about that push from God is that not everything has to be perfectly fine for us to be able to know that God is in the midst of things. Not everything has to be right from 1 to 10, from A to Z, but God allows all things to operate as he intends.

What's more, even in the midst of opposition, my brothers, the Lord takes care that those things that seem to be opposed to what we as sons and daughters of God want to see, God takes care that these things work, as the Scripture, for the good of those who love God.

Look, let me give you some examples in Scripture of people who experienced a divine momentum. There are many people but I am going to focus on a few. The first one that occurred to me was the character of Joseph in Genesis. Joseph the dreamer, in Genesis, Chapter 39, look at this.

Obviously we know that Joseph lived through a series of things from start to finish that might seem unfair based on the dreams that God had given to Joseph. Obviously his brothers first of all felt envy of him. It was the first song he received. From there they threw him into a well, from the well they took him out and sold him as a slave. After he was sold into slavery, he ended up being Potiphar's keeper, the keeper of the house, the steward of Potiphar's house. Obviously there was a conspiracy against him on the part of Potiphar's wife, and where did it end up again? In a jail. And after he spent that time in jail, which supposedly was almost a period of 2 years, how did he end up afterwards? Interpreting one of Pharaoh's dreams and having interpreted that dream, Pharaoh made him governor.

Look what a thing In other words, all the circumstances that could have been adverse to him, but do you know what was the key in all of this? Look how Genesis says, Chapter 39 verse 2, this is something that is repeated several times, the verse says:

"... More Jehovah was with Joseph and he was a prosperous man and was in the house of his master, the Egyptian, and his master saw that Jehovah was with him...."

Later in verse 21, once again it is repeated: “…. But the Lord was with Joseph and extended his mercy to him and gave him favor in the eyes of the warden of the prison..."

And once again verse 23 emphasizes that "... because the Lord was with Joseph and what he did the Lord prospered him..."

When I read those verses for me it is a perfect example of a man who is in a divine momentum that despite the circumstances that appeared in his life, Jehovah was with him. And no matter what happened, the people who conspired against him, as God was with him and had a purpose, an intention with him, God made sure that everything worked in his favor.

Look at this other example, in Exodus, Chapter 1, look at what it talks about the people of Israel, verse 7 says:

“…. And the children of Israel fructified and multiplied, and this obviously came after the death of Joseph, many years after the death of Joseph…they fructified and multiplied and were increased and strengthened exceedingly and the earth was filled with them. Meanwhile a new king arose over Egypt who did not know Joseph, therefore he did not know Joseph's legacy, and he said to his people, “Behold, the people of the children of Israel are greater and stronger than we are, Now then, we are going to be wise towards him so that he does not multiply and it happens that when war comes they also unite with our enemies and fight against us and he leaves the earth. So this was where the process of enslaving the Israelites began. Then, they placed commissioners of tribes over them to bother them with their burdens and they built storage cities for Pharaoh, verse 12, look how it says, but the more they oppressed them the more they multiplied and grew so that the Egyptians feared the children of Israel…”

Look at this, how interesting my brothers, speaking of a divine impetus. The people of Israel knew that they were the people of God's pact, the people chosen by God, and although many times this same people forgot God, God with everything and that did not forget the promises he had about them. And even if other peoples tried to oppress them, to be an oppression for them, to try to stop them, to reduce what was happening to them, nothing could contain what God was doing in their midst.

They follow me where I'm going Did you get that idea of what I said right? It is not that the people of Israel were necessarily multiplying by their own intention, although of course there was something of that, but what I see here most is that no one could contain what God was doing in their midst.

There are times when momentum can appear to be going in a reversible fashion, so to speak. Do you remember the character Job in the Bible? What happened to Job? One thing after the other, I was going as they say, at a discount. They were doing a total subtraction. It's like the IRS was collecting everything from Job. They were one after the other. Oh your children... I take them. Your cows… I take them. Your goats, your horses, your chickens, your roosters, everything you have... I'm taking it from you. Your wife too, give her to me. They took you. Your health... I'm going to write it down there too. It's like one thing after another was being taken away. Plus what happened at the end? God returned everything to him again. God gave it all back to him again.

Look, you know what? Once, I shared this when I made this message, because I did it in the context of a Wednesday service. When I started leading the Wednesday services, I felt that I was going into a regressive moment too, so to speak. And I'm talking about this was like maybe, like 3, 4 years ago more or less. And I remember that when I started, the pastor told me, Omar, take care of the prayer services, I know that God is with you. Take a hand. Let's see how God makes this grow. Oops, I'm very confident there, let's see how God makes this grow? And I remember that the first few times we were here for services on Wednesdays, maybe about 40 people would come or so, I would say, who would come on Wednesdays to pray. And obviously at that time I remember that my brother Gonzalo was here alone with the guitar, and he led the praise and prayer and between him and I we took turns from time to time. And as time went by, my brothers, I don't know what happened, that from 40 we went down to 30, from 30 we went down to 20 and we kept going like that and until we got to the point I'm saying, with great respect. , that we had 2 or 3 rascals here gathered on Wednesday nights. And me sad alone with the guitar too. And I said to myself, oh, Lord, and now what do I do?

And I came to the pastor and cried, pastor, no, the people are not coming. Do you think we should continue with the prayer services? Go on. Go on. Follow that as I said to José, Jehovah is with you. And it will prosper you.

But look, my brothers, I literally reached a point, I believe that these characters that I have mentioned from the Bible also had to have felt that at one point, because there are moments in which one wishes to have that momentum but, like, there isn't. You want that second wind, that air that comes and lifts you up, but it doesn't come and you feel frustrated at times. And one like, wow, Lord, is it something that I'm doing, or something that I'm not doing?

And I remember that I began to pray and I said to myself, Lord, I need you to start providing for this, not only provide people who can come and take time to pray, but provide other things, other resources that help me with this service because I was watching like this, it is a church service. I asked myself, how can it be that in a church with 900 plus members, that only 15 or 10 people only come to pray on a Wednesday night. That doesn't do it justice, like it didn't fit in my head. I was trying to reason it out, but it just couldn't fit in my head. And I began to pray and I, look, Lord, you are going to take care of providing little by little. And I remember that my brother Gonzalo kept coming, suddenly my sister Raquel began to arrive and helped me singing. And I, well, I'm not singing alone anymore, and we were fighting there at that time, our brother Bruno also arrived and began to help us in the praise. Then Enrique arrived, with his wife Dulce, then my sister Mirsa arrived, and like, wow, wait, this is getting good because as things grew up here, things began to grow down here. And from 30 we went up to 40, from 40 we went up to 50 and people kept coming and I said to myself, wow, Lord, thank you, you are listening to my prayers. And I remember that my brother Rafael also arrived, and my brother Rafael, I always identify him because he was a very particular person. He always came here to the office and encouraged me, and told me, Omar, keep praying because you will see that on Wednesdays there will be a blessing service and many people will come to recharge their batteries throughout the week. And me, amen. I celebrated that.

And look, my brothers, the mere fact that now there are approximately 90 people coming on Wednesday nights and I celebrate it as if it were such a total Sunday service. What seemed to be a momentum that was counting down in some way or another, God turned it into a momentum so that it's running ahead now. Because it is not the mere fact that I want to see a group of people here on a Wednesday night, but it is the mere fact that then I am understanding that people are getting the value of what it is to set aside those moments to pray. , to come and congregate, to seek the Lord, to see the face of the brothers and sisters another day during the week, which is not necessarily Sunday.

Hey, my brothers, and how we enjoy the presence of the Lord here on Wednesdays. How is it enjoyed? In other words, I know that Sundays are also enjoyed here, but there is something like, I would say, a formality and although that formality is not lost on Wednesdays, it is another. Here on Wednesdays people feel free to come to the altar, to laugh and sit around, take off their shoes if they want, and be, as it were, in the presence of the Lord and enjoy that whole hour and a half. So a paid advertisement, you know, my brothers, I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday nights.

We have babysitting too which we are doing on Wednesday nights. So, if that works for some too. We have the Boston Water parking lot…. Through July too, so if you're worried about parking, we've got it there. So, let's see how many I see on Wednesday night.

But look, my brothers, let me tell you something, let me ask a question, what can stop a move of God? What can stop that moment of God? And one of the first things I can say is that we are not in the right mentality, that we are not in the right tune with God.

First Corinthians, Chapter 2, the Apostle Paul speaks of the following, he mentions that "...God commanded his spirit, that no one knows God like the spirit of God, but God revealed them to us by his spirit, because the spirit searches everything, even the depths of God, ─I am reading in First Corinthians, Chapter 2, verse 10 ─…. For who among men knows the things of man except the spirit of man that is in him? Likewise, no one knows the things of God except the spirit of God. And we have not received the spirit of the world, but the spirit that comes from God so that we know what God has given us, look at this beautiful word, what God has granted us…”

Listen to me, what God has granted me is something very different as if I had said, what God is thinking of giving you. Or what God is planning to do in the future. When he says what God has granted, it is what? Which is already done. It is something that is already done. And obviously our logical human mind cannot perceive that, it cannot understand it, but since God has given us his spirit, then we can understand it. and what God has granted is not something that is necessarily seen on a tangible level, but we do know that if God has granted it, it is because he has decreed it, he has already said it, somewhere in heaven it has been done. And we, as our brother Jorge Michel sang right now, we do not walk by sight but we walk by faith, we are seeing things that cannot be seen, it is as if they left, exactly.

Therefore, if God has already granted it, although it cannot be seen, I believe that he granted it and I walk as if I already have it, as if it is something that is in me. Being in the right mindset then helps me to perceive well when God is doing something so that I can then run with that same wave of God.

But what else can stop it, my brothers? Disbelief. If I don't have faith, I can stop, I can cut, I can emasculate any movement that God may try to make. You have to have that sense, that dimension of faith that God is truly doing something. Now, I'm not saying that this is necessarily going to be something lasting because it's not every day that you catch the green lights en masse from Symphony Hall to here. Obviously. There are times when this happens. And I believe that God does it and intends it that way. Obviously if he's giving us the same thing every day, look, we're going to grow up smug boys and girls, like Daddy gives me what I want all the time. And that is necessarily what God does. God does give us, he gives us as they say, these inputs so that we can see that he is there.

Now, there is something very important my brothers, and this was something that I learned from when I preached it several Wednesdays ago, and now while I was reviewing it again I, like, recalculated some things in my mind. Because I was telling myself that it is not that one can manipulate a move of God, but one can provoke it. That was what I understood. I cannot manipulate, I cannot say, I am going to pray so many hours, I am going to fast so long, I am going to visit so many people in the hospital just for God to do something in my life. I can't manipulate God like that.

Those things that I just mentioned, I have to do. What can I do? I have to keep praying. The moment I stop praying, that is gasoline that I am losing. The moment I stop being generous and generous with people around me, with the church. And I'm not necessarily talking about money, I'm talking about my time, my strength, my energy. The moment I shorten my hand concerning those things, that gasoline is going to go down, down, down.

The moment I stop congregating, that is another thing that will decrease the intensity with which I can experience that move of God. Is there not a text in the Bible that says, brothers, I urge you, do not stop congregating as some have customary. And I am not saying that any of you have that custom here, because I know that all of you always come, except on Wednesdays, and I hope to see you now.

But look, that idea is very important, my brothers. You know I'm a fan of Wednesday service, right? But look, my brothers, this is basic science. When you are barbecuing, if you take a piece of coal and separate it from where the rest of the burning coals are, what will happen to that coal? It's going to go out. Do you think that coal is going to catch fire by itself? No. Doesn't the same thing happen when we stop coming to church for some time, for some reason, or for some circumstance? We don't, oh yes, Gonzalo, I keep praying in my house. God listens to me in my house. Look, amen, glory to God. God listens to you even though you are at the top of Mount Washington, up there in New Hampshire, God, what's more, he's going to listen to you even more there because you're going to be closer to heaven. But it does not mean that one thing will replace the other.

God had a purpose with the formation of the church. God had a purpose so that this body would take its shape, with each one with their tricks and with their pods, but that everyone could come here and congregate, warm each other up, be able to understand that there, in that unity, there is a mystery that God operates, there is a force, there is an impetus, there is an energy that God infuses on that Congregation, on wherever that body is gathered that promotes something that comes from the heart of God.

And of course, although we are part of a group, of a context of people from different backgrounds, cultures, and look, many times, well most of the time, it does not mean that we have to be a body with totally perfect personalities, where everyone gets along. No, my brothers, I am not saying that. There will be their traumas. They're going to step on his calluses. I'm going to step on them. You are going to step on me, we are going to have those frictions, but that does not imply that these frictions are going to prevent us from continuing to be the body of Christ.

And so in that way then we can continue promoting that momentum, that move of God in our life as a church. We have to have that right mindset, my brothers. Look, God does want to bless your life on an individual level, God wants to fill your marriage, God wants to fill your children, God wants to bless you in your studies, in your work, in whatever you are doing, but that This blessing is not for you to enjoy by yourself, or by yourself, it is so that you can also share it with other brothers and sisters around you.

What's more, another thing that I learned, also that I recognize that perhaps they are half-cooked thoughts. I was saying that you can't run someone else's momentum. It's like who says, you can't ride someone else's wave. If you see an example of surfers, the surfers, those who get into those waves of ten feet or more, I don't know if you've seen this, but many times when one of them has already ridden a wave, if there is another who is trying to mount passes over him, because he cannot be stopped. Obviously when he's already going with that momentum, there's no one to stop him, and if he gets out of the wave, he obviously loses it. But there are times when there are people who want to ride the wave where one is riding, and that can't necessarily be done like that. You cannot depend all the time on someone else's prayers for you, you cannot depend all the time on someone else to fast for you, or read the Bible for you, or come to visit you. You can't depend on it all the time.

Look, you can say that person's wave starts one in you but once you're already riding yours, enjoy it and keep going then. Find out what God is doing in your life. And may you incite a wave for others as well.

Now, my brothers, when you see that this momentum has stopped, as can often be experienced, many times we say that this is the time of the desert in the midst of our lives, right? Have we experienced that? Like the voice of God goes out, like, hello? And how is it not there? Or we start to hear other voices that we don't have to hear. Look, as I always say, my brothers, this is something that has been medicine for my soul, when you find yourself in those moments, please, do not think that God has forgotten you. Imagine how Jose felt.

Look, I even had to watch a children's movie to understand this. And good thing I saw it up there in the... and once it was happening and they had this part of José's film precisely. And it was the part where they did that conspiracy on behalf of Potiphar's wife and they put him in this dungeon. And in that dungeon the time passed when the baker and the king's cupbearer came out and Joseph was reaching a time of despair, that he himself suddenly in the movie, I remember like this, he himself comes out and says, God, where are you that am i still in here? Didn't you have dreams for me? And he began to cry, in the movie he began to cry, and after crying he suddenly came out and said, Lord, I will continue to trust you.

And you know what? This is very interesting because in the story of José that does not necessarily come out. Joseph's account does not necessarily say that Joseph doubted God. No, it doesn't say in the biblical account, but I liked the creativity of that film because it presented his humanity at one point. Who wouldn't, after so many injustices they did to him, who wouldn't say, good God, but come here, you didn't have dreams of me? What happened to all those bundles of wheat that bowed down to one that was placed in the middle? And what happened to all the stars that bowed? Wasn't I the one in the middle of those stars? What happened God?

You know what? You are fully permitted to feel or think that God may have vanished at some point, as if he had moved away. But you know what? Don't be confused, don't be wrong. Careful. I'm not doing that, God does that to you. God tells you, look, I'm looking at you. It may seem that I am not there, but I am there. What happened to Jose? He said, but Jehovah was with him and prospered him in everything he did.

God's momentum had not ended because God knew the intentions he had with that man, and likewise God knows the intentions he has with you. In whatever facet you are in your life, God knows the intentions that you are with you.

Look, it reminds me of the things that we've been talking about concerning the book of Acts and even this last passage that we talked about in Acts, Chapter 6, when it talks about the Apostles being faced with this dilemma of the widows of the Jews and of the the Greeks, and what are we going to do? Look, even in that, I remember the words that Pastor Greg said that perhaps you are going to feel that even the pastors themselves betray you, or that you think that the pastors don't care about you or that you don't cares.

Look, don't let your human mind prevent that move of God from continuing to manifest in your life, because that's not the truth. That's a lie from the devil for getting Pentecostal, if you will. Look, no, my brothers, when God has something, when God provides those opportunities, when God brings those momentum, they are opportunities for you to get closer to him, for you to experience something new from him, for you to know something new of yourself, of yourself, and that then you can grow even more and can become the person, the man, the woman, the Christian, the Christian that God has truly intended for you.

That is what God intends. That is what God causes when that impetus of life comes like this into our lives, both at the individual level, as well as at the congregational level, as a body, as a church.

Look, I'm telling you something, it's not that I have Guille a fierce prophet, but I still dare to think that this situation that we as a church have experienced with our pastor, and although he is recovering and we give glory to God for that , but I dare to think that even this situation is going to bring a new and different momentum, not only in the life of our pastor, but in the life of us as a church.

What does that mean? Don't clap yet. What does that mean? Can I tell you a secret? I don't know. Things that eye has not seen and ear has never heard, things that have not entered the heart of any man, but are kept in the heart of God. Those are the things that I understand that God is going to bring into our life as a church. What is our responsibility now, my brothers?

Look, I'm just telling you this, like someone saying a preview, and I'm already finishing it because I know my time is up. But don't think that the pastor has arrived again, everything is fine now, life as usual. No no no. The pastor is already here, he is going to take care of everything. No no no.

I know that at some point we will find out all the things that God is working with the pastor's heart. But I hope, and here I am speaking to you as a pastor, as a pastor's colleague, I hope that all of us are taking the time, the energy, the intentionality to be able to discover what God has intended with all this still in progress. we as a church

Things cannot continue as they have always been. I think so, things have to be different. New leaders have to emerge. And it's not to replace existing leaders, I'm not saying that. It may be that the existing leaders need to go through a renewal as well in one way or another, but I believe that this is going to bring a momentum from God, an impetus, a force, we are going to start to see the lights go out. to start to turn green one after the other, that perhaps before we ate the yellow ones but I think that now a moment will begin to arrive where all the lights will start to turn green, where all things will begin to appear in its place. And we as a church, we are going to be able to rise to that new level that God has been speaking to us for a long time, my brothers.

Now, what does that require of us? This is going to require us to be aware of this move of God, that we do the things that we have to do, that we do not stop praying, that we do not stop congregating, that we do not stop giving, of being generous with others around us. , my brothers, do you know why? Because all those things are going to cause God to start infusing something in your midst.

So I would like to pray now. I invite you to stand up. Let's pray based on this, church. I don't know if you have the same desire as me, but I feel moved before God to look for that momentum in my life, to look for that impetus from God in my life. I long and desire to see that new move of God in my midst, I am speaking on a personal level. And I hope that you are also wishing it on your life too.

Look, my brothers, do not be afraid of some change that God can make at the level of your thinking, your way of thinking. I believe that for many of us our way of thinking has to change. I believe that for many of us God has to work very directly also at the level of our character, very deep things that are there, pride that is well grounded in us that instead of promoting that move of God, what they do is they limit and stop it even more.

And I believe that God is willing to work at those levels in the midst of our lives. If it were not so, my brothers, I do not know what else I can say, but I believe it in my heart, I believe it in my heart, that God is still in action.

If he has shown it in such big ways there in Chile, that he can show it in a way also in the middle of his life, allowing perhaps his immigration papers to suddenly be fixed. That maybe you feel that your relationship with your spouse is a little shaky, and suddenly you start to experience things that start to bring a new life to that relationship.

Look, what's more, if you want to experience something new in the midst of your relationship with your spouse, don't wait for your spouse to start doing things for you. Start doing things for your spouse and you will see how things will start to move in another direction. Perhaps in the first few weeks, your spouse will tell you, what do you want that you are behaving like this with me? What are you looking for? I'm looking for something but I'm not going to tell you yet. Keep doing what you are doing, what God moves you to do. Pray for your husband, pray for your wife, anoint the pillow where they sleep with oil even if it smells bad afterwards, but anoint it. The chair where you sit to eat at the table, put your hand on that chair and say, Lord, that it's as good that the coffee falls, that I also fall. Do the same for your sons, for your daughters, and do it also for yourself, for the well-being of your own life. Ask the Lord to fill your life, ask the Lord, look God, I want to experience your movement, despite the different oppositions or circumstances that I may experience in my life, I want to feel that you are with me, I want to be able to express as he says of José, that despite the circumstances God is with me and made me prosper in everything I did. Ask it like this before God.

Obviously look, in order for you to experience that prosperity from God, again, your life has to be in the right place. If your life and your heart are not in the right place before God, I believe that you will take a long time to experience that prosperity. But if you settle your accounts with God, if you ask for forgiveness in what you have to ask for forgiveness, if you start to change your attitudes where you have to change attitudes, your thoughts, your words, look, I am sure then that God is going to start to bring that blessing your way.

Thus, Father in the name of Jesus, I have expressed, I have communicated this message, this word with my brothers and sisters, and I recognize that each one of them is in different places in their journey of faith, in their journey of life, in your family journey, in your personal journey, they are at different levels, Lord. And I dare to say, and I trust that you are in each one of them, that you are with them wherever they are, Lord. As the pact of a marriage would say at the altar, in sickness or in health, in sadness or in joy, in poverty or in wealth, you are also there with each one of them, Lord. And I only ask you, Lord, that they can, well, let me say it like that God, as Elijah said with his servant, I ask you to open our eyes to be able to see your power in the midst of our lives, to be able to see that legion of angels around us.

And Lord, that we can discern your move, your intentions in the midst of our lives, that we are not so weak, Lord, that we are not so fragile in our lives of faith, in our perspective of life, Lord, but that we can maintain ourselves focused and knowing that despite the circumstances, that no matter what comes into our lives, Lord, that we can have the courage and firmness to say and declare that you are there in the midst of things, that you can be with us in the depths of the earth, Lord, as you did in Chile several days ago, as you can also be with us in the heights, my God, as you can also be with us walking through the grocery store, my God.

You are with us at all times. Father, allow us as a church to open up to your movement, to your momentum, to your impetus, Lord, that our hearts can open up to that energy that you long for and want to pour out on each one of us, Lord, come and fill us, my God, fill us with your life, fill us with your love, fill us with your strength, Lord, right now in the name of Jesus I ask that you break anything that could stop my brothers and sisters from experiencing your move in the midst of their lives, sir. And I release now, Jesus, that your spirit move over each of their lives, Lord, in new ways, in refreshing ways, Lord, in subtle ways as well as in obvious ways, that they may know and confirm that you are in among them and that all together we can say, Jehovah is with me. Jehovah is the one who makes my walk prosperous. Jehovah is the one who makes my legs strong so I can walk on my heights as you also intend.

We give you the glory and honor, Lord, in the name of Jesus. Amen and amen. Thanks God.
