Buy the truth and don't sell it!

I want to quickly enter a little thought, a reflection that God gave me now, returning from California. On the plane I was thinking one of the most important things in life is to be able to be sure of what God has given us. And sometimes brothers, for lack of knowledge the devil steals our spiritual land and sometimes, brothers, it is not that the devil has power or authority to rob us, it is that we give him the opportunity for lack of knowledge.

How many say amen to this? How many has this happened to, who have let their guard down and lost a blessing? Be honest. No more little, it's good that there isn't much of a battle here. But I tell the men every Tuesday and every Saturday, if there is no battle... and leave the violin, where, brother Manuel? At home.

Brothers, I am going to ask you to open your Bible to Proverbs 23:23 and quickly enter this reflection. And if you help me I'm going to try to be short, like a good Pentecostal I'm going to say short three times, and that means that I'm going to finish it. Proverb 23:23, I want you to say it with me, we are going to say three verses and if we learn nothing else this afternoon, it will be these three verses. First Proverbs 23:23. But the word of God says, all together:

“…Buy the truth and don't sell it; do not despise wisdom, teaching and intelligence..”

Tell your brother, it's time to buy the truth. In English it says, “buy the truth and sell it not…”

Over there in John 8:32 there is another Scripture if you want to follow it, mark it because this is going to be the next verse that I want us to learn this afternoon. 8:32, a well-known verse, all John 8:32, is very short that we can all learn it this afternoon. Everybody say it with me:

“…And you will know the truth and the truth will set you free…”

You shall know the truth and the truth….

John 17:17 will be the last verse and we will enter, brothers, immediately into this reflection. John 17:17, says:

“…Sanctify them in the truth, your word is the truth…”

Let's see let's say the 3 together: Proverbs 23:23, what does it say:

"Buy the truth and do not sell it and wisdom, teaching and intelligence..."

John 8:32 says, "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

And John 17:17: "Sanctify them in the truth, your word is the truth"

Praise the Lord. This afternoon I would like to leave a reflection entitled, Buy the truth and don't sell it. Tell your brother, buy the truth and don't sell it.

Buy the truth and sell it not.

What thing is true? Listen well, in human language, there are two types of truth. The absolute truth and the abstract truth. The abstract truth is the theoretical or wise or human truth that is correct, that is a theoretical truth, that has a theory, has science behind it. But there is an absolute truth, that is pure, it is holy and I would like to talk about that truth, or one of them, because, brothers, one of the things that as children of God we have to understand, that the enemy of our souls, their job is to try to take away the position that God has given us. And he worked overtime. Work overtime. How many say amen to this? He does not sleep. He is looking for an opportunity to rob us of this position that God has given us, because he lost it, he had it one day but he lost it. And he can no longer have it back, but thank God that by God's mercy, God has given us a great position.

And that position is found in John, chapter 1, verse 12, which makes this Gospel clearer, this verse, where it says:

"... plus all those who received him, and who believed in his name, he gave them the power to become children of God..."

He gave them the power of what? to be children of God. Do you know what they are saying, brothers? Children of whom? Children of God. We should be happy that we have believed in his name, we have conversed with our mouths, we have believed in our hearts and we have gone from being God's creation to what? to be children of God. This position is so elevated. It is an absolute truth that God has made us his children. We didn't deserve it, how many say amen to this? But by the mercy of God, God made us his children.

And there in First John, 3:1 says: "... look at what love the Father has given us so that we may be called children of God..."

And brothers says; "... and for this reason the world does not know us because it does not know him.."

Being a child of God implies that we have certain privileges and rights and blessings. I am sure that all of us who have experienced what it is to have a father, a mother, at home, the greatest privilege is to know that a father, a mother, shows their love towards their children. How many say amen to this?

Sometimes, brothers, this absolute truth that we are children of God, the devil looks for a way to make you think that you are no longer a child of God or that you do not deserve to be a child of God, that you have no right to be a child of God, because what has happened in your life, or what you are going through. But this afternoon I want to tell you once again that you are a son, a daughter of God, no matter what you are going through, no matter what need you have, you are still a son of God. And your Father is God. I said that your Father is God, and if your Father is God, you have blessings that cannot be counted with hands or feet.

One of the most important things is that no one is going to take away that privilege of being children of God. And sometimes, brothers, the circumstances of life, in order to better understand these Scriptures, the parable of the prodigal son clearly explains what the position of being a child of God is.

The youngest son was in whose house? His father's. And he enjoyed the blessings of his father's house, but one day something made him ask for his inheritance, something made him think that he was not well there in his father's house, that he should go find fun, that he should go to look for something to fill the void that he felt, according to him, at that time.

And there in chapter 15 of Saint Luke, he clearly explains that this man left and squandered all the inheritance, he was left with nothing. Sometimes we have to be left with nothing to remember that we are children of God. But how good it is that sometimes there, like that man, who had already spent everything, who was working to survive, they say that he looked at that food that he gave to the pigs with the desire to eat it. There was nothing worse than seeing that dirty food and wanting to eat it. Because he had left his position in his father's house.

There in a Scripture in Revelation says, hold back what you have so that no one takes your crown. You have a position, a special blessing. And, brothers, this afternoon I just want to leave you this great teaching that we have an absolute truth that we are sons and daughters of God. And that should motivate us to keep looking for more of that love of God, keep looking for more of that presence of God in our lives, because we can feel God's love when we are close to him.

Our children, when they approach us and we caress them, how beautiful it is when a child feels his father's caresses. How many remember? Mine are already big, my baby already has it, it weighs 300 pounds, but that Aron, there where they see him, sometimes, Orlando brothers, as well as yours who is small, sometimes I come and I start to rub his head just like ayyy, he begins to feel the caresses. Because? because it is his dad who is blessing him.

Do you know that God wants to bless you this afternoon? He wants to caress you, he wants to make you feel his love in your life. I said that he wants to make you feel his caresses. Many times, brothers, the devil steals our blessing. But how beautiful it is when we arrive with that desire, just like Aron, sometimes I'm there in the car, Omar, and I scratch him a little and you have to see, he's grown up, he doesn't need mom or dad anymore, but suddenly like that those caresses make him remember that dad is there to support him.

How many know that dad is here to support us? How many know that daddy is here to lift us up? Here is dad to heal us. Here is dad to give us new strength. Sometimes we, brothers, need to fight for our position so that no one is going to take us out of our lives.

I would like to tell you something very important: as children of God we have certain rights and I am going to tell you that when you go to your father's house, you can ask for whatever you want. I see sister Davie there with her mother, I see that she is well checked, she is very happy, she has a smile from ear to ear, although Wilson is hiding there but I know that Wilson also likes the presence, because there is mom.

Levi can ask mom whatever he wants because it's his mom. The first right as children of God is that we have the right because God has made us his children. He who asks, receives.

Many times, brothers, this law... and there are people who have put a lot of technique into it, they have made it very theological. It's just going, it's easy, he who asks receives. Some put other things there, other theology, and other lodges, and other things, they put a lot of decoration on it, but how beautiful it is when one can go to Dad's house and say, Dad, I need you, I need a blessing, I want one. blessing, i feel alone, i need you to touch my life. And Dad comes to bless us, we have the right to ask because Christ has bought us with his blood.

How many say amen to this? That right is so explicit and so direct, it is a given authority, it is something absolute. I'm sure, when I go to my dad's house, and now I have to see my dad who is almost 80 years old, and when I go home it's not that I ask if I can open the fridge, because it's dad's house. I arrive and open the fridge to see if there is something in there that I like, and if there is, I don't tell him, dad, can I eat? Can I get a soda or can I get that? Because? because it's dad's house.

How many bring a need this afternoon? Raise your hand for Dad to see. We all bring, but sometimes we don't know how to ask and you know that I travel a lot and I have heard all kinds of prayers, I have heard eloquent prayers, words from professors and karate fighters and I don't know what else. Once I went and a brother who mentioned God only once but told him Most High, Majestic, Very Good, so much and so much that it lasted five minutes when God arrived.

But brothers, there came another brother who didn't know, he didn't have much education but he came and said, Dad, I need you. Dad, I need you. Dad, I need you. Dad, I need you. Because sometimes we put a lot of cream on the tacos, we put a lot of cream on the empanadas Holy Father who art in heaven, please help me, you know how and we echo… oooooh, Lord, but how beautiful when a child of God arrives and he knows that Papa loves him, that he does not have to put on an appearance, that he can come into his presence, he can raise his hands, he can raise his voice and feel his God.

But you know what? brothers, is that God wants us to ask him with heart. Many times it doesn't matter if you need a partner or partner, everyone say amen, those who want one. God bless. Those who need do not say glory to God. You have to ask. It is a right. You are a child of God, but ask like a child. Many times we say, Lord, you know my need. Pride comes. Sometimes we turn it around because we don't want to tell the truth. But how many know that God already sees the heart? Before we ask, he already knows what we need.

I always told my mom that she was a witch because when she arrived she would say, mijo, do you want some taquitos? Amen. Do you want some flutes? Amen. Do you want a roast beef? Amen. Because mom already knew what I liked. How many know that God already knows our hearts? Oh my, and you know what touches the heart of God when your children can raise their hands through thick and thin, and say, I want to praise my God, I need to feel his presence. I need him to bless me. But sometimes we arrive before praising God, with the list, Lord, I need a new job, I need new pants, a new car, and brothers, we never say thank you Dad. Thank you because you saved me by grace and I did not deserve this. But you saved me, you chose me before the foundation of the world, you died on the cross for me, I want to praise you, I want to glorify you, I want to give you honor because you saved me.

You have to learn to ask, it is a right. Number two, I want to touch is that we have an entrance to Dad's house. There in Hebrews it says that we have entrance to the most holy place. Before, in the Old Testament, only the high priest could enter the Holy of Holies once a year, but we can enter on Wednesdays, Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. How many know that we can enter Dad's house?

I'm talking about the spiritual tabernacle, not the 4 walls. Sometimes we arrive here but we are not here. That you can enter the Holy of Holies, you have free entry. When Christ says it is finished, if he broke the veil, and that place that was closed only for the high priest, now we have entrance.

Tell your brother, you have entrance to the Holy of Holies. You can go to the holies of holies. And then he says, how beautiful that we can enter, we don't have to ask for permission. We don't need a secretary, we don't need Saint Anthony knocking on the door. We have a ticket where am I going? I'm going to see Dad. I'm going to enter the most holy place because there is Papa. I need a blessing from Dad, I have to go inside.

But you know what? the devil says that you are not worthy, you do not deserve it, why do you sing, why do you pray, why do you go to church. But brothers, I want to say to the devil, liar. I have entrance to the most holy place. I am a child of God. I can enter. And I don't even have to touch.

Some touch a lot and then look for the mediator, better, perhaps the mother because she is a little closer. No, brother, you don't need the mother of Jesus, you can go straight into the Holy of Holies. He is the son and daughter of God. If you believe it, give Christ a big round of applause.

Number 3: God has given us the power to ask, to enter, number 3, tell your brother, to walk or walk in the spirit. We are children of God. Brothers, how many know that God walks with us? The Bible says that he walked with God and God led him. How many are walking with God? Some God is pulling. Let's see you're distracted, come here. How many are children of God? Turn to your brother, slap him to make him smile. Sometimes, brothers, there are people who do not know how to enjoy themselves, and do not know that it is a right in good times and bad, you can enjoy yourself even if you walk in the valley of the shadow of death, why? and he has changed our lament. Some don't even know how to dance.

Many people put a price on it, but I want to tell you that Christ has already paid the price for us. It was not with gold or silver, it was the precious blood of Jesus Christ that bought the absolute truth for you and me. I like how the prophet Isaiah says it, and they stand up because I want to finish.

Come to the waters of all knowing, and to those who do not have what? Come, what? Buy without money, because Christ already paid the price. Turn to your brother and tell him, we are children of God. Turn your neighbor and tell him, We're children of God. We are children of God.

This excites me to know that I am a child of God, to know that Dad is in heaven, on earth and everywhere. I was coming on the plane from San Jose, California, to South Lake City and I was coming through the window looking, Sister Vanessa, I was looking at the clouds and suddenly in my heart I felt something so beautiful, I said it's my Dad did all this. This plane God gave him wisdom, intelligence. I felt proud. This is from my dad. And Paul said it, down Father, everyone say down Father. It's like saying, Daddy in English. Daddy.

How beautiful when a child of God knows his position! And he knows that nothing and no one can take that position away from him. The fights, the tests... how many know about fights and tests? Raise your hands if you know the--that set them aside. But you are the son and daughter of God. The absolute truth is that no matter what happens in your life, you have a very high position. We are the family of God. To all who received him and believed in his name he gave power of what? to be children of God.

How many have already received Christ in their lives? And if you haven't done it, today you can do it. If you have not yet accepted Christ, today you can go from being God's creation to being God's son or daughter. Will there be someone this afternoon who has not accepted Christ?
