Summary: The story of Samuel in the temple as a child teaches us about the importance of ministering to children and preparing them as a generation in the spirit of Samuel. Eli represents spiritual laziness and corruption, while Samuel represents new life, anointing, and a new generation. God wants to communicate with his people, including children, and we need to learn how to discern his voice and respond to him. Samuel's prophetic vision from God about Eli's house shows the weightiness of the calling God has for children. We must not overlook or underestimate the potential of children to hear from God and impact the world.
The speaker discusses the story of Samuel in the Bible and how God is calling for a generation like Samuel's to be raised up in the church. He believes that God is preparing a time for the church to have great authority and impact in the world, including in areas like government, media, and education. He also emphasizes the importance of valuing and raising up children in the church, as they will be the ones to bring change and transformation in the future. The Latino community is highlighted as a prophetic community with a duty to disciple and evangelize its members to make a difference in the country. Overall, the speaker encourages the church to prepare for a new era and to focus on raising up a new generation of leaders.
The Samuel generation is a generation of children with a prophetic anointing on their lives. Parents must value, consecrate, and give their children to the Lord from a young age. Men have an important role to play in the education of children. The Samuel generation is destined to replace the current church and bring revival and renewal. Children must be trained in the mysteries and content of the Bible, and how to communicate with God. They must be instructed in a spiritual mindset and trained to be warriors. They must be consecrated to the Lord and given prophetic names. The Samuel generation will bring order both within and outside the church and inspire holy fear among the unconverted.
The devil still has the hearts of the people, making them believe that the solution lies in more knowledge and science, but the Church of Christ believes that the best times are ahead. They are preparing a new generation of leaders for God, filled with the Holy Spirit and moving in the power of God. They consecrate children to the Lord, declaring them to be the Samuel generation, anointed with the Holy Spirit, prophetic and wise in the use of spiritual weapons of warfare. Parents are urged to educate their children in the power and fear of God, providing them with healthy environments where the presence of God can move. The Lord is preparing a generation of spiritual warriors, priests, and generals for the harvest of the last times, and His glory will rest on them.
The First Book of Samuel, chapter 3. First of Samuel chapter 3 and I am going to share with you something very special, that I believe that God wants this to be shared. Yesterday we had a beautiful event where members of about 15 Hispanic churches from Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Massachusetts came, and there were a large number of leaders here who work in the Ministry of Education for Children, Early Childhood Education. There was a lot of blessing, many workshops that were given here.
God has blessed our church with a program called AWANA, the letters mean something that is not clear to me right now, but AWANA has revolutionized infant education and by the way we thank the Lord for all the teachers who have blessed our church for so many years with Children's Sunday School, Children's classes and the Lord just keeps getting better, better, better so we thank God for all those teachers who have worked so hard in the past.
And AWANA has come to bless and improve and complement what is done. Right now, up there, I wouldn't be surprised, there are more than 100 children taking classes at different levels from very young to older. A tremendous blessing. And on Friday nights if you come here, the rafters of this church are rocking because there are children jumping, adoring the Lord, dancing, singing, playing. All with an imminently spiritual purpose.
God is doing very beautiful things. And we have wanted to share that blessing because we are one of the first Hispanic churches in this region that has adopted the AWANA program and then some teachers came from California, from Florida there were workshops. A very big, very special blessing.
And they invited me to give the first talk in the morning. And in reality I tell you the truth, although I adore the Children's Ministry and I believe that it is something so special, so beautiful, in reality that is not my calling. My call is as a Pastor, of course, to encourage that because I understand the importance of children, we have supported it. But there are other people here in the Church that this is their gift, their calling, their passion and they are doing a wonderful work.
And I said, 'What am I going to speak with authority about the children's ministry?' Several alternatives occurred to me but one stuck in my mind right away. An image came to me. The image of Samuel in the Temple as a child, when God speaks to him for the first time. And I want to share that because I shared it yesterday and God gave me that word as a word that I feel is more than just a teaching, it is like a word that God wants to mark our church. I would say a prophetic word, not only for our congregation, but for the Latin Church and for the other congregations.
But I am going to refer to the Latino church at this moment because we are Latinos here. But I include all the Congregations and I would like to declare this sermon, this word also to the brothers and sisters who listen to us through the Internet, their churches because I believe that this is a word that God wants for this approaching time. The time that is coming, the time that we are entering as the church of Jesus Christ in general.
And I'm not going to give much more preamble. Let's go to chapter 3, First Samuel. It says here:
"Young Samuel" - let me stop here for a little while. When God gave me the image, I rather saw Samuel as a child and I have always thought that Samuel was a child when he received this vision, this revelation from God. But I said, "Hm!"
The young man, I started looking in the New Kings version and other translations and it says "the child Samuel" and I saw the version of the Bible in Spanish and it says "the child Samuel" but not content with that I wanted to look in Hebrew original because it is important because I want to talk about children and the importance of children and the destiny that God has for children and the call to the Latino Church and all other churches to specifically minister to children, to a new generation.
I'm calling this sermon, this word, "The Samuel Generation." God wants to prepare a generation in the spirit of Samuel. So I looked up the original Hebrew and the word that is translated young here is 'naar' in the original Hebrew it means child. In English, the definition that I found: lad, boy can refer to a teenager. And I think Samuel was probably a teenager.
So when he says young here, don't think of a young man of 18, 19, or 20 years old. I think Samuel was much younger than that. I would see him as a 10-year-old boy, 11, 12 years old maybe. It is possible that he was entering that stage of puberty, when he was already a little man and perhaps this is what started it. Perhaps God said: "This child is prepared to enter his prophetic ministry" and initiated him through this word.
But it's very important that you don't read young here as an adult, a young adult making the transition from adolescence to youth.
Then: "The boy Samuel ministered to the Lord in the presence of Eli" - who is Eli? For the brothers who don't know. Eli was high priest in Israel at that time. He was the highest priest in Israel, head. But Eli was a man who had lost his sight. Eli led Israel spiritually but as an old man he had lost his enthusiasm, he had lost his passion. His children had been corrupted. They were also priests but they had been corrupted morally, financially, they abused their priestly privileges. Eli or had corrected them allowed his sons to make all kinds of disorders in his priesthood.
Eli was a man, the Bible already says, and look how Eli died: "Eli fell from a fright from a chair where he was reclining and he was so obese that the weight of his body weighed with the weight of his body and it was as a punishment from of God, by the way.
But Eli represents that spiritual vision that has decayed, he has lost his first love, the fire, the passion for God and he simply carries out his work formally but he has no passion, he has no vision, he does not have God's blessing. And this is important because Samuel represents as Eli's substitute. If Eli represents corruption, lack of vision, spiritual laziness, Samuel presents new life, anointing, a new generation, the word of God, prophecy, supernatural gifts. A new time, a new church. So Samuel ministered, because as a child, his mother had asked the Lord for a child because she was barren and God gave her Samuel.
And this woman, recognizing that it was a gift from God, took that child that she loved so much and gave him to Eli so that he would grow up in the temple and grow up as a Nazarite, a man dedicated to the Lord. And Samuel I imagine that with a wheel there he played inside the temple; if he had one of those Action Figures that children play with or a little truck, he was playing at the temple. When a priest moved and entered there, lighting the lamp for the Lord, he looked at him like this perhaps between the doors. He grew up understanding the gestures, the rites, the atmosphere, the smell of the different perfumes that the priests burned in the temple, listening to the words of praise from the different singers.
That was Samuel's daily bread since he was a baby. His mom says that she visited him and brought him a special robe every year, but I suspect that this woman also went to the temple and saw her son regularly but had dedicated him to the Lord.
So Samuel was there in the temple, right? It says that in the presence of Eli "and the word of the Lord was scarce in those days, there was often no vision", it was a time of spiritual barrenness. Israel had been corrupted, the symbols of the Gospel, of Jehovah, of worship to the Lord had been corrupted, there was discouragement, neglect, spiritual corruption. God did not show up. I believe that it is very similar to our times where there is a shortage of the true word of God.
It says: "It happened one day when Eli was lying in his room when his eyes began to grow dark so that he could not see." His lack of physical vision reflected a lack of spiritual vision as well. It says that: "that night Samuel was sleeping in the temple of Jehovah" why? because he lived in the temple; "where the ark of God was." Why did the Holy Spirit put that "where the ark of God was?" Because Samuel immersed himself in that environment where the supernatural presence of God was, which recalled the powerful acts of God in the history of Israel.
"And before the lamp of God was extinguished, the Lord called Samuel", at night, they go to bed, before the lamps were blown out and turned off, Samuel was perhaps going to bed, the Lord called Samuel and he answered " here I am and running to Eli he said: 'Here I am, why did you call me?' Samuel thought it was Eli who was calling him, perhaps he had a room next to Eli's and he thought "they called me."
"And since he had no experience in the things of God, he went to Eli and said: "Here I am, why do you want me?" and Eli said to him: "I have not called, go back and lie down" and he turned and lay down. And the Lord called Samuel again, this child and getting up Samuel came to Eli and said: "Here I am, why have you called me?" and he said: "My son, I did not call you. Go back and lie down."
It says and clarifies here: "And Samuel had not yet known Jehovah," he had no experience in spiritual things, he did not know how to discern the supernatural moves of God, nor had the word of Jehovah been revealed to him. He had not yet entered into his priestly function.
[If someone can bring me a little water, one of the faithful, I would really appreciate it. Better water. Thanks brothers]
Not even the word of Jehovah had been revealed to him. So Jehovah called Samuel the third time and he got up and Eli came and said again for the third time: "Here I am, why have you called me? Then Eli understood that it was Jehovah who was calling the child, the young man."
Brothers, there is a specific way to relate to God and to listen to the word of God. Sometimes God wants to tell us things but we are so rude, so ignorant, that is why God's people need to get back into a spiritual transformation that allows us to hear from God.
God wants to communicate with his people, God wants to bring prophetic word but many of us are rough and clumsy and since we have no experience in how to discern the voice of God, we sometimes believe that it is our own thought, a psychological concern or something. And we have to ask the Lord: "Lord, give us discernment and teach us how to open our souls, our lives to you and how to be prepared to adore you."
There is a specific way God is telling us to intertwine and relate to God's supernatural move. [Thank you, dear] and we need to learn how to respond to God. So it says here that: "Eli understood that it was Jehovah who was calling the young man and then Eli said to Samuel: 'Look, Samuel, go and lie down. And if He calls you again, God, then you are going to say: ' The LORD speaks because your servant hears."
I imagine that little boy, right?: 'Ok. I am going to tell him, Jehovah speaks because your servant hears. The LORD speaks because your servant hears.' He arrives, goes into the bedroom, lies down again and listens to the voice of God. It says: "Jehovah came and stood and called like the other times." It was the Holy Spirit of God who wanted to speak to Samuel, wanted to communicate something to him: 'Samuel, Samuel.' Then Samuel said, "Speak because your servant hears."
Imagine that little boy saying those rehearsed words that he was told. Because God wants to reveal himself to children too, that's why I say the Samuel generation. God wants to start speaking to children, prepare a generation that will listen from God. And look how heavy is the prophecy that God entrusts to this child. It says: "The Lord said to Samuel. Behold, I will do a thing in Israel that whoever hears it will have both ears withered. On that day I will fulfill against Eli all the things that I have said about his house, from the beginning to the end. And I will show him that I will judge his house forever, for the iniquity that he knows, because his sons have blasphemed God and he has not hindered them. Therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli that the iniquity of the house of Eli will never be expiated, neither with sacrifices nor with offerings.
And Samuel lay in bed until morning, and opened the doors of the house of the LORD. [He was like a little Levite, he did the chores of the house and touched him, he opened the doors of the temple] And Samuel was afraid to reveal the vision to Eli [what he had heard, he was afraid to tell him that God had told him about his mentor, practically his spiritual father].
So Eli called Samuel and said to him: “My son, Samuel, come here. And he answered: Here I am. And Eli said to him: What is the word that God said to you last night? I beg you not to hide anything He told you from me, because if you hide a word from me of everything He spoke to you..." -lightning strikes you, was what he wanted to say- "...so may God do to you and still add if you hide a word from me of what he spoke with you.
I think Eli knew that they had told him something and that it had to do with him, he had a guilty conscience and wanted to know what God had told him. He said: Don't hide anything from me, tell me everything even if it's bad, I want to know, I want to hear it. And Samuel revealed everything to him without hiding anything from him and then Eli said: 'Well, Jehovah is.' In other words: He is God, do what you want. If that is what He determined in my life, I respect it and receive it. He resigned himself to the word.
And Samuel grew up and Jehovah was with him and did not let any of his words fall to the ground. Just as God said about Eli, so it happened to him and you can read the rest of the story. "And all Israel, from Dan to Beersheva, knew that Samuel was a faithful prophet of Jehovah." A new era opens, the prophetic move of God begins again. The wind of the spirit begins to blow again, over the land, because Samuel a prophet of God is moving in the town.
"And Jehovah appeared again in Shiloh." Silo was a very specific place in Scripture where great miracles took place. God started again. "For the LORD appeared to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD."
Now, brothers, what God put in my heart to share with the children's teachers yesterday and I share it now with you and with the brothers who listen to us and see us through the Internet. God says to the church of Jesus Christ: "Prepare for me a generation like Samuel's" and this is being spoken not only to parents of children but also to adults who do not have children, to men, to single sisters.
Look, God wants our churches to serve as incubators for prophets and evangelists, teachers, apostles who in 20, 15 years will become that new generation that God is going to use. Because I cannot explain everything to you unless you do not understand, this conviction exists in the spirit and not only mine, but it is the conviction of many people with whom I have been connecting, listening and reading because God has placed this concern in me heart and so I have been searching the Internet and reading and God is speaking to his people about a time that is coming where God wants to change many things in the world and wants to start a new era in the history of humanity.
I feel that God is preparing a time like never before in the history of humanity and I believe that before Christ comes [and again, I don't have time to break down all this eschatologically] certain phenomena must occur in the world, certain events.
I believe that God still wants nations to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. We are simply thinking in terms of individuals, people and that is very important as Dr. Richard Booker said on Friday: there is a difference between the Gospel of Salvation and the Gospel of the Kingdom.
Christ spoke of the Gospel of the Kingdom and that has always impacted me, because the Lord said in his great commission: "Go and make disciples of the nations." Notice that God always thinks in terms of collectivities. "You and your house will be saved." If you read the prophecies in the Old Testament it speaks of the nations. Nations, over and over again, speaks of Egypt and Mohab. God speaks of his judgment to the nations.
He talks about how in recent times there will be nations that will know the Lord and that is why I tell you that God has been revolutionizing my eschatology for several years now and I am not sure yet, but now I am understanding a little better because there are concerns that God has placed in my heart that does not fit with some things that I hear traditionally in the eschatology of the church, but that already comes from many, many years ago.
And God is preparing a time in which I believe, that the Church of Jesus Christ will be installed as an Institution of great authority in the nations.
I believe that God wants the church of Jesus Christ to impact governments, impact legal systems, impact the academic world, impact the philosophical-artistic world, impact the media, impact the corporate-financial world. We are always thinking in terms of a person. The devil thinks in terms of a nation, a system, a community, a doctrine, an academic discipline, an area of a nation's life.
God is bringing a transformation to the church so that it begins to think big, that it begins to think... Years ago I wrote this: The Master Plan that is still on the Internet. I haven't even bothered to look for it. About 4 or 5 years ago, God made me write this document about, precisely, what God wants from an apostolic government.
And at that time I didn't understand as much as I do now. Of all the things that God wants to do, that God wants us to prepare to invade, to establish. I see in my spirit a time that is coming where the church of Jesus Christ will have great authority like never before.
Right now, if we look at Europe, the church of Jesus Christ is absolutely decrepit, completely in the ground. The United States every day is worsening the condition of the evangelical church in the United States, there are no differences in many areas between an evangelical and a pagan.
Governments don't take notice of Judeo-Christian values anymore. We have lost the universities, we have lost the media, the journalists, the New York Times, the New York Post, the Boston Globe, the internet pages do not record the impact of the church.
People like Sara Payline and Mike Cockaby are very interesting but, no, they never command intellectual or political respectability. We make a fool of ourselves many times. And I love those people, I think they have a pure heart but they are either what God needs, what God wants in this time to command attention.
There are hidden people that God has to take out and fill with the Holy Spirit. There are Moses, who are still in Egypt, but God wants to take them and turn them into liberators of his people. And the church has to prepare that so that we can truly speak in the prophetic spirit.
Today in our countries, like Guatemala, for example, in another country, evangelical presidents emerge and make a fool of themselves and fail and fail. In Brazil we have 30-40% evangelicals but the difference is not felt.
In El Salvador, in Puerto Rico there are large numbers of evangelicals but ask yourself if the governments, if social justice, if the progress that the advance of the gospel is supposed to represent is manifested in the structures of our cultures. No, there is not. Here in the United States there are large congregations of thousands of people, the most developed pulpits are in the United States, yet this country continues to fall apart more and more spiritually.
The devil keeps gaining more and more ground because the church doesn't make a difference. The devil does not care if 100 or 1000 mega churches are built if he stays with the media, with the universities, with the hospitals, with the government, with the corporations, with the social agencies. Because he thinks in terms of systems and has rightfully owned it.
Brothers, God wants to change things. Every time I walk through Harvard and I see all those buildings, that great neighborhood, that incredibly powerful city that is Harvard, you know what I think? They stole it from us. Because Harvard was founded as an institution for the training of ministers. The first person who gave money to Harvard was John Harvard and he gave his library and the equivalent of about 10 thousand dollars to found that university and for many decades, two centuries or so, Harvard was a place that the gospel feared God.
At least there was fear of God and for a long time it was a place for passionately with God. Today it is a motor of terrible secularism and rationalism. Those things have been stolen from us, but I believe that God wants to restore that and wants to prepare a generation. Go? That's where I go. These are times of change.
We are going to see changes and we are a generation of transition, but I believe that in 15, 20, 25, 30 years if Christ has not come and I personally believe that his coming is still a long way off, although he can come right now; But in 15, 20, 30 years, God is going to want those children who are now playing up there -and not playing but receiving teaching and word and who come on Fridays- that these children are the generation that is in control and that establishes the presence of God.
The word of God in this nation: let them be lawyers and rulers and businessmen and journalists; that they reflect the values of the kingdom of God and that the Church has power, has authority, that the prophetic movement of God is in the midst of the earth and that these little children are adults filled with the holy spirit. With a prophetic word to give to presidents, to prime ministers, to the leaders of powerful institutions. That Samuel generation that God is preparing and that means that the church today has to be preparing that generation for the Lord.
That is the point that God has told me.
God says: "Prepare for me the generation that I am going to use to conquer land." Now after all that, we know that God has his coming and again no one knows how it all comes together. The problem is that talking about these things requires so much nuance that one would have to spend hours dotting the i's.
But, it is worth saying, times are coming. Great transformations, great influence awaits the church of Jesus Christ and God says: "Prepare for me the generation that I am going to use to establish my dominion for a while before my son comes. For then I will look for a church that will give me what It belongs to me and I gave it to my son and my son gave it to me. And I know the All in All as the Apostle Paul says".
So, it is important that we understand, Samuel is born in the context of that decrepit church, that decayed church that Eli represents. The people of Israel have been corrupted, there is no strength, there is no word, there is no passion for God.
And I believe that these children are developing in the midst of a church like this, which needs strength, needs renewal. The power of God has to flow in the church, in our church, the churches of Christ. Right now, these children represent hope for a New Testament church, filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.
And those children go, they are now there developing in that context, so that is very important. Those children are growing up in the context of a worldwide church that needs renewal and needs a visitation from the power of God.
Secondly, these children, this Samuel generation, require parents who, like Ana, love their children, value them and desire them. The Bible says that "Ana brought him a tunic every year." Ana did not ignore Samuel because she delivered him to the temple, no, Ana continued with her duties as a mother. And I imagine that she continually visited her son. Ana wanted a son. When she came before God she poured out her soul asking the Lord for a son and the Lord granted it to her.
Today, brothers, people often do not value children. People don't want to have children. Now, Hispanics, thank God we don't have that problem. We are reproducing incredibly, like rabbits. This is growing, even if all the doors of Texas and California are closed to us, we are already stuck here, nobody is taking us out of here. We will continue to grow.
Sociologists say that one of the biggest revolutions taking place in the United States is the development of the Latino community, you know? That's how it is. By the year 2050 it is expected that this country that this country will be almost 30% Latino. So picture that. Here people are going to have to learn to eat plantains, tortillas and drink Goya malt whether they like it or not because the people of God and the Latino people and the Church of Jesus Christ have a great duty to disciple that community and our children. , siblings.
We have the duty to raise them up in the fear of Jehovah and offer the Lord some young people, a generation within 10, 15 years that will revolutionize this nation. I believe that God has brought the Latino nation here as a prophetic community. Our values are sound values, even those who don't know the gospel as we know it are God fearing people. What happens is that if we don't disciple them, we don't evangelize them, they are going to leave, as the other groups have left, simply becoming secularized.
That is why the Church of Jesus Christ is called to be a militant church and to have the vision to give our community to the Lord and tell him "Father, Hispanics are here to make a difference in this country." For us to take stock, that this nation is now going from one side to the other. They are like Israel between two gods and our community when they can vote and that generation when the time comes to vote and assert their Christian values, that is what will make the difference in this country.
Right now, we already make a big difference, but even more. That is why we have to love our children. Parents, I tell you: value your children. How Ana valued Samuel. No, don't leave your children here. There are brothers who come to church and drop their children like a hot potato and drop them there and come in here and forget about their children.
Where are your children? Sometimes I walk through the halls and the stairs and I find the children hanging from one of the railings of... and the parents don't know where they are. Take your child to class and tell him: "You stay there or you already know what is going to happen to you." Take it to class, stick with them. In the time of adoration, do not let them loose, no, that they learn to adore the Lord. Value your children, give importance to your children.
And I say to dads, to boys: Boys, love, educate, and disciple your children. Don't leave all the work to women. Gregory and Omar were talking to me the other day about noticing young parents coming to the front with their children in their arms. Hey, that's beautiful. That means we're getting the idea. How good, when those men assume their role as disciples, too!
Listen to me, the male has a very important role to play in the education of children. Don't just leave the job to women. Men, get in there and bless your children. I would love to see men up there working in Sunday school, working in AWANA and all these Ministries.
Men, please! Take on your job, the job part. Let's not just leave it to women. I celebrate what men are doing, how they are growing, but we still need more. Because we have a duty to value, love and not leave all the work to the church. Ana, although she consecrated Samuel, was still involved in her son's life.
We have to value children. Children have a soul, children have a spirit. God wants to speak to children as he spoke to Samuel. Parents who love their children, value and desire them.
Third, the Samuel generation requires people to consecrate and give their children to the Lord from a young age. The key here is to consecrate, to deliver. Parents, take your children and consecrate them to the Lord actively, bless your children every day at night pray for them and declare God's blessing.
Declare a prophetic destiny over your children, pray for them and say: "Father, I give you my son, I give you my daughter. He will be a man, a woman of God. He will be a prophetess, he will be a counselor, a counselor for your church." .
Brothers, look, I always tell the Lord, even if my daughters do not become great and distinguished women, but that they love God. That is the only thing that matters most to me. Now, glory to God, they are going to be and are special women, but above all I want them to love the Lord passionately. That is the most important. Make sure that your children consecrate your children to the Lord and take pleasure in seeing your children grow in love for God.
Deliver them, bless them, lay hands on them, anoint them, declare God's favor upon them.
Fourth place. That Samuel generation is a generation that is born under a supernatural anointing in response to the needs of the people of God and of this time. There is a special anointing: those children, this generation of children, have a call, a prophetic anointing on their lives and we have to recognize it.
Look at your son. Church: Let's look at those children. Like Samuel, a special calling, those children are destined to be great things and prepare for that coming of the mighty Lord, our times. So look at it that way and take care of those children, protect them, invest in them, prepare them for the Lord. Because God is saying to the Church: "Prepare my generation for me, Samuel. Prepare my generation of transition. Prepare my generation that is going to replace you for the work to which I have called you."
And we have a sacred duty as a church to invest and strive and work. This is how I speak to the churches that listen to this message as well: prepare that generation that is going to govern and that is going to establish great things in future times. It is a generation with a supernatural anointing.
Fifth, it is a generation destined to replace the current church, which to some extent has lost its supernatural anointing. Like Eli, Samuel replaced Eli in the priesthood: prophetic power in Israel. We have things to do and God is going to use us, but in reality, that next generation is going to be like the generation that entered the promised land and we are called to prepare the Lord, educate those children for the Lord so that when they enter his adulthood are ready to do the work that God wants them to do.
They are called to replace us.
Sixth, that Samuel generation is a generation specifically anointed to restore the prophetic and to move under the prophetic anointing. Those children are going to be adults who are going to hear from God, they are going to receive the word of God. They are going to move under a powerful anointing, a weight of God's generation.
It is a generation chosen to do great things and we have to educate them as Eli did: instruct them, so that they get used to worshiping the Lord. You have to move them to the front so that they dance, so that they sing, so that they direct, you have to lay hands on them, you have to ask them to pray for others as well. You have to teach them to pray, to adore, you have to believe that they are going to be baptized in the Holy Spirit.
You have to believe that they are going to prophesy, you have to believe that these children are going to do very big, very powerful things and we have to be training them so that they know how to move in the supernatural anointing.
It is a generation destined to bring revival and renewal to the church because now the word of God is scarce. The church has mere glimpses, there are little glimpses of the glory and the presence of God at this time in the church. But God now wants to use that generation to bring revival to us. The problem is not the world out there, the problem is the church.
When the church is revived the world will take its leadership from the church. When the church stands up and begins to live supernaturally based on the word of God, the world will have to take notice.
When God moves in the Church the world... the Bible says that: "God has given us the world." God has given us the land. It says: "All power is given to me on earth and in heaven, therefore go" was what the Lord Jesus Christ said. He has power, the devil wants us to think that he is the one with power and in a sense he is the prince of this world, but above him - he is an illegitimate prince - is Jesus Christ. And there is a part that we have and we have to prepare for the Lord: that generation that is going to hit the world hard with its anointing and replace us.
Eighth, that generation Samuel must grow up in the temple of Jehovah where the ark of God is. How Samuel grew up, close to the gifts, knowing the power of God, penetrating with him. We are going to instruct our children in a supernatural vision.
What I like about the AWANA ministry is that the children grow up with a warrior mentality, they have flags, they have vests, they have their bags, they have their ranks, they have their songs, they have their dances, they have their symbols and these children grow up. in a different way. Biblical texts are learned.
Do you know brothers? That today many churches believe that with a lot of technology, a lot of video, a lot of PowerPoint presentations and all that, we are going to make a difference. I believe that all this is good and we must use technology, but the devil has had so much power over children in this time that many of our children are already spiritually corrupted and need deliverance.
They need a very strong medicine, they need solid food. They need the abcs of the Christian life, they need to be prayed with and for them, they need to be imparted with the anointing and baptism of the holy spirit. They need to learn to use the weapons of war, because they are at war.
The devil has wanted to possess their souls. The Internet corrupts them, the media sexualizes them before their time, turns them into consumers before their time. Kids are already ordering their parents to buy them the latest $150 sneaker because they feel ridiculous if they don't. The girls are corrupted at 12, 13 years old, they are already sexually active and the youngsters have become predators, victimizers of the girls that the system is cursed with schools and the Internet and all that demonized is teaching them rebellion against parents, unbridled sexuality, a consumerist attitude, secularism, rebellion against authority.
Everything bad the devil has wanted to put it in and the powers out there are cooperating with the enemy. Undoing what the church tries to do, under supposed rational secular values and paradigms that are truly doctrines of the devil that are being infused. And that generation needs a special power to burn out what the devil has put in their hearts.
There are children today at 7, 8, 9 years old they are already addicted to pornography because the Internet has corrupted them and children today grow up in their own sub-culture with iPods, text messaging, the Internet, tweeters and all these things, the Facebook and You Tube and all this. Children no longer need parents, they are growing up in their own subculture and being discipled by the secular world. They need deliverance, they need healing.
That is why we have to give them fire, we have to give them holy spirit, we have to give them the word of God, we have to educate them in the temple.
Close to where the ark of God is, which is a symbol of power, of the presence of God. We have to invest in our children, we have to bring them to church, we have to come to grips with the enemy who wants to seal our children first because he wants to kill the prophetic spirit.
The devil wants, as he has always done, with Pharaoh who wanted to kill the Hebrews when they were born and like Herod who wanted to kill that generation so that the Messiah would not come out. Today the devil wants to destroy that prophetic generation and the church has to stand up and say: No! We are going to fight for them and we are going to instill in them a spiritual mindset.
Parents, let's understand that we are at war for the souls of our children and that we have to present to the Lord a generation as He needs it for his end-time purposes. Excuse me, but this is important. I have a couple more points and I promise I'm already landing.
That generation, Samuel, must receive training, an intensive, continuous, biblical spiritual education as Samuel received it. The scriptures, learning verses, knowing the characters of the Bible, the books of the Bible, memorizing choruses, dancing before the Lord. We must train them to be warriors.
They have to be instructed in the mysteries and the content of the Word of the Bible, they have to be trained in how to communicate with God, how to respond to Him when God speaks. Very important.
Penultimate point, it has to be [that Samuel generation has to be] delivered, consecrated, ceded to God as his property by parents who understand the special prophetic call that this generation has to start a new era in the life of the people of God and even of society in general.
We have to give our children to the Lord and tell him: "Here is my offering. You gave me this daughter and I offer her as an instrument in your hands." Consecrate your children to the Lord and give them to God and say: "Lord, this is yours for your purposes. It is a spear, it is an arrow, it is a bullet, it is a cannonball, it is a projectile that I want to put in your hands so that You break fences and demolish walls and bring a new wave, a new system in the life of your people".
Consecrate your children to the Lord, give your children prophetic names. Begin to prophesy about your children, visualize the type of son, daughter you want and prophesy, declare it before the Lord. Speak to your son and tell him: "I declare you a woman of God, a counselor, a Deborah, a Sarah, a Mary in the people of God." "I declare you a Gideon, I declare you a Kaleb, I declare you a Samuel, I declare you a Joshua in the life of the people of God. I consecrate you for revival, I consecrate you for renewal, I consecrate you for the pronunciation of the prophetic word , I consecrate you to be a professional filled with the Holy Spirit wherever you go, that you declare that glory and honor is for God. I consecrate you as a singer, as a psalmist, as a prophet of God".
Declare God's future over your children and consecrate them to the Lord.
And lastly, the Samuel generation will be called to bring order both within the church and outside the church. That generation will remove and install kings, remove and install Prime Ministers and Presidents, consecrate people for the service of God in the secular world, inspire holy fear among the unconverted because the power of God will be so strong in it that it will be like prophets and apostles and God's anointed are walking the earth declaring the glory of God and the world will have to pay attention and fear before the decrees of those men and women filled with the holy spirit.
Now the church is in shame, defeated, persecuted, it has no relevance, it has no validity, it is not listened to, it is ridiculed. The people declare the death of the church. Time Magazine, Newsweek, writers of great renown boast that the time of the Christian church in the United States is already in decline and madly declare that science, knowledge, ridiculous, ridiculous.
In these post-modern times, the devil still has the hearts of the people, making them believe that the solution lies in more knowledge, better psychology, better anthropology, better sociology, better biology, chemistry, when all that... and they You yourself confess that all that failed. It failed in the 20th century and now the devil wants to renew it in the 21st century, crazy things. Science and knowledge have never been the solution for humanity and they want to get rid of those who believe under the name of fundamentalism.
They believe that by giving us a name of fundamentalists they are already putting an X on us and they are erasing us from the stage. Religion, spirituality will never disappear from the human sphere because it is written in the heart of man. God wrote it there. No one will be able to get away from that, it is in the genes, it is in biology, it is in chemistry, it is in the electronics of the human body. No one can get away from it.
And the church of Christ still the best times are ahead of her, brothers. We have to prepare a new generation for the Lord, we have to be investing because what is coming is great. We have to be envisioning great things that God is going to do and preparing for God his prophets, his teachers, his apostles, his evangelists, his pastors and pastors. People filled with the Holy Spirit, moving in the power of God.
God tells us: "Celebrate, marry your sons and daughters, open businesses, build temples because you are going to need many places where people come to receive my word. Prepare vessels for me, not a few vessels, because the oil that I have to give It's a lot and it's going to run all over the earth. So prepare me a generation of leaders. Prepare me a generation of leaders because I need them for the work to which I have called them."
That is the call of God for the church of Jesus Christ at this time. We are going to prepare the Samuel generation, we are going to prepare the generation that is going to install David and Saul and is going to anoint the kings and is going to walk around inspiring fear in the world because God himself will walk with them. That is the word of the Lord for this church and for the church of Jesus Christ at this time.
Let's stand up. Bring your children here for a moment, parents. Those who have children bring them here for a moment. And we are going to pray also for those who are up there and prophetically we are going to declare the anointing of God on that generation this afternoon. In the name of Jesus. We declare that these children are warriors, generals, presidents, doctors, journalists, writers, artists, counselors, they are Deborahs, they are Sarahs, they are Ruths, Esters, that God is using and right now in the name of Jesus.
Come forward, come forward, and if you have to push the front seats a little, please come closer, mothers and fathers. Well forward, well forward. Even if you have to go up here, some go up here so that others have a chance. Some of you come up here.
We are going to give those children to the Lord and those who are up there we also consecrate them to the Lord. If the children want to go up here, let them go up anyway, or you go up with them, don't hurry.
In the name of Jesus, we declare new times, we release a special anointing and let this be simply a first. This is simply a symbol of what God is doing and will be doing in Latin America, in Asia, in Europe, in India, in the Middle East, in Australia, Central Asia, the Pacific Ocean, Russia, Mongolia, Tibet. The Lord is doing great things.
In the name of Jesus we declare a special anointing running today. This is the Samuel generation, the Samuel generation. We declare an anointed generation filled with the Holy Spirit, a prophetic generation. We declare a prophetic generation. We declare that these children will be the spearhead that God will use, spiritual warriors, understood in God's move.
Put your hand on your child right now and declare a new generation, a mighty move of God, the filling of the Holy Spirit, fullness of life, revelation. Children who see visions, dream dreams, receive prophetic word from God, move in the power of the Holy Spirit.
In the name of Jesus, we declare new times, a flow of the Holy Spirit, the filling of the Spirit of God, a flow of the power of God, a flow of the power of God. A new generation. Prophetic generation, Samuel generation, generation destined to change destinies, generation that has authority to flow in the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
In the name of Jesus we declare wise parents, understanding parents who know their calling and who know what God has called them to do. You are guardians, you are nurses, you are spiritual mothers, you take care of God's property. Your children are the talent that God has placed in your hands. Be sure to educate your children in the power and fear of God; provide them with healthy environments, where the presence of God can run and do things.
I unleash, in the name of Jesus, heavenly anointing on the children of this congregation, on the adolescents of this congregation. I seal your minds and your hearts against all the tricks of the devil, all the malice of the enemy that wants to possess your hearts and your souls. We declare them a prophetic generation that flows in the power of the Holy Spirit full of the gifts of God, wise and understood in the use of artifacts, utensils, vessels of the temple of God.
In the name of Jesus, the adolescents, the youth of this church, we declare you anointed, filled with the Holy Spirit, wise in the use of spiritual weapons of warfare. In the name of Jesus. Their hearts are sealed, we declare the anointing, the anointing of God is flowing right now. The fire of God is sealing hearts, the heat of God is flowing.
Children receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit, children receive the word of God, children receive revelation in their spirits and their hearts, children receive, receive in the name of Jesus grace, Grace of God, fresh anointing of God. Anointing of God In the name of Jesus, thank you. Fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit on children. Be blessed, be filled with the prophetic spirit of Samuel. The prophetic spirit of Samuel. Flow the Holy Spirit, flow the glory of God.
"Raise me up a generation," says the Lord. I prepare myself a generation, I reserve for myself an elite generation, a priestly generation, a warrior generation, my generals I prepare them for the harvest of the last times", says the Lord.
"My glory will rest on them. The ark of my power will walk on them. I will uphold their word and I will not let a single word from them fall to the ground as I did with Samuel, I will do it with them too", says the Lord.Word of God in the hearts of these children. A new spiritual order. Hallelujah. We thank you Lord. Help us raise you a mighty army, Father.
In the name of Jesus we declare your anointing, we declare your Glory.
Glory of God on these children. Hallelujah hallelujah. Thank my Lord. We receive your double portion. Thank you Jesus. Amen.
