Believe the prophets

Summary: The sermon is based on Second Chronicles chapter 20 and focuses on King Jehoshaphat's crisis and how he appeals to God's promises and the word of God. The speaker emphasizes the importance of knowing the Bible and studying it regularly to be able to use it as a weapon in times of crisis. He also encourages admitting powerlessness before God, which opens up a void that God can fill. The message is relevant to the Church of Jesus Christ, which is facing a crisis and needs to turn its eyes to God.

The church is in a time of crisis and needs to admit its helplessness and turn to God for guidance. The story of Jehoshaphat in the Bible shows the importance of worship and prophetic gifts in allowing God to work through his people. The Church needs to learn to flow in the true gifts of the Holy Spirit and receive apostolic teaching to channel the power of God. There are hidden truths in the word of God that are being released for the Church to worship the true God and for his glory to manifest on earth. The battle is not ours, but God's, and we should not fear or be discouraged.

The speaker discusses a biblical story where God gives specific instructions to defeat an enemy, and emphasizes that the battle is not theirs, but God's. He encourages the audience to seek prophetic words and strategies from God, and to be still and rest in Him. The speaker also shares a personal prophetic word that the church and he himself are not yet prepared for the level of authority and responsibility that God wants from them. He urges them to seek purification, unification, and discipline to become the army that God needs. The speaker also declares himself as a prophet and apostle of God, not for personal validation, but as part of fulfilling God's plan.

In this sermon, the speaker emphasizes the importance of the apostolic and prophetic word of God in the church. He believes that the church needs to learn how to flow under authority and move in discipline and precision. He urges the congregation to believe in God and to believe his prophets, and to prepare themselves in the spirit by studying the word of God and converting to the Lord. He also stresses the need for changes in the church and for the people of God to be brave and true. The speaker believes that God is preparing a time for his church now in which nations and governments are going to have to listen to the word of the church and it is going to be a word where kings will tremble when they see the church say something.

The speaker encourages listeners to receive Christ and seek Him through studying the word and making changes in their lives. He reminds them that obeying God brings no loss or disaster and encourages them to believe in the prophetic authority of God. He prays for the Lord to seal the word in their spirits and teach them how to be a people that glorify Him. The speaker also expresses a desire for the glory of God to occupy the earth and for believers to know Him intimately.

Let's go to the word of the Lord. Second Chronicles chapter 20 and we go where the Lord takes us there in that chapter. Let's start. A word of God that I feel is a prophetic word, I say it with great deliberation and weight, it is a prophetic word of God.

This morning when I started preaching all I had was - as I sometimes do - a fragment of verse in my mind and with that I said, "Well..." and I had written a few short notes there this morning, and in fact that I couldn't find them and that it was like God wanted me to give that word from here inside the Spirit and for it to come out as He wanted to assemble it and we did so. Because this word is a word of instruction and formation for our church for all of us who are here in this community, León de Judá Congregation. And we are going to receive it this afternoon and let the Lord mark us and form us with that word.

I have preached, as you know, on this passage: Second Chronicles. Last year I preached a couple of sermons on precisely this passage. This started me in a process of writing about the life of King Josaphat and there is a book out there that God has created about the life of King Josaphat that with the help of the Lord we are going to publish soon. But there is a message here for us and there is a fraction of that text that stuck with me and I had not preached it before but it has been working for me.

I believe it is God's time for us to share it with you and do you know the climactic life story, the biography of King Jehoshaphat? That moment when, after a series of reforms that he carried out in Judah, wanting to strengthen the spiritual roots of the Hebrew people and to establish the worship of the one true God; in a town that had strayed into paganism.

After making great efforts to strengthen his people spiritually, a great crisis occurs in the life of him and his nation. One day they come and give him news that an invading army has entered Judah and that they are already not far from the capital - Jerusalem - and that they come with the intention of possessing the land and expelling the Hebrews and keeping the land. And it's a military report, of course, that's what was happening. And Josaphat is obviously moved and filled with terror at what is happening and realizes that he and his army do not have the resources required to be able to resist this army that is determined to destroy the earth and take possession of it.

He doesn't have the strength, Judah doesn't have the resources to do it and he recognizes this fact and so, look let's start there, we go to verse 10 or even earlier, we go to verse 9. But I don't want to go too far back because in The reality where I want to lead is quite advanced, but there is a very important background there. Jehoshaphat realizes, he appeals to God, in verse 9 he speaks to God based on his word, on what the Lord had promised him.

When we pray, when we are in a crisis, in need, where are we going to go first? We have to go to God's promises, we have to go to what God has said, the rights that we have, the commitments that He has made with us, the covenants that He has given us. The assurances that He has issued of what He is going to do when we have situations of need. That is where we have to go: to the promises of God. And then Jehoshaphat in the previous verses reminds them of what God has promised, what He promised Solomon when the temple was installed: "what if pestilence came, war" and if they cried out to Him, He was going to listen and go in your favor.

We always have to -in quotes- remind God of what He has promised, what He has said because in that place we are safe. That is why we have to know the word of God. If you don't know God's word, how are you going to act when war and panic and fear come and your mind isn't working clearly?

The only thing that can help you is that the word of God is so sown within you by dint of studying it and meditating on it continuously and memorizing it that that word in the time of crisis springs up so spontaneously that you don't have to be looking for it to see where finds her. No, no, that word will be within you as the cells are in your tissues, integrated into your life. That word is going to come out and then you're going to be able to take that word and remind—in quotes—God of what He has said.

He knows it but you will then be like a jurist, a lawyer who comes before the Judge, who appeals based on the law that has been established. What the nation has formally declared you are going to bring to the judge and he is going to say: "Your Honor, here is the law that you obey and on which you operate and I am basing myself on that law for my appeal and for what I am asking of you. And you are going to obey that law" and the Judge is subject to the law that is above him.

The word of God, God is subject to it because it is his word and he honors it. That is why it is so important.

Allow me, give yourself a little time for this, relax. I think you have enough gasoline today to stay a while. Listen and this word of God for your life. Let me give you everything that God wants for you. Brother, study the word, know the word.

A lady came here, a violinist, two Sundays ago when Ron Kenoly was there. We had beautiful weather in the evening, an extraordinary night of worship. A very accomplished violinist ministered in the power of the Holy Spirit on the violin.

She said something that actually made sense to me, so much so that one listens to those things, but she said: "Look, if you are in crisis, you are in trouble, in need, I want to ask you a question: Have you read the word of God today? Did you read it today?"

And the truth is that if I were to ask all of you here - I'm going to but you don't have to raise your hand, okay? - do you study the word of God, do you know it well? do you study it every day? Is it habit? And there are times when you will not be able to, but do you meditate on it? And to what extent do you know the Bible? To what extent can you handle that Bible from the back to the front, from the front to the back, from the inside out and from the top to the bottom and from the bottom to the top? Up to what point?

I am afraid that many of us do not know the Bible. We depend on what is given to us here on Sunday, but I encourage you in the name of the Lord to know the Bible, to study the Bible, to become a systematic student of the word of God. Because that word is what you are going to use when the moment of crisis comes, of the need to appeal to God

So Jehoshaphat did that. Many of us are weak in times of crisis because we are not fed with the Word of God and still fed and still have problems. imagine.

So he appeals to what God has told him. Then take your time and read chapter 20 and you will see how he appeals to what the Bible says. So in verse 10 he says: "Now then..." That 'now then' means: "Lord, I have reminded you of what your word says, what you have promised, what you have committed to and now as a consequence of my appeal to your law and your promise: "Behold, Lord, the children of Ammon and of Mohab and those of Mount Sehira, whose land you did not want Israel to cross when they came from the land of Egypt"...

Look, he knows the Bible. He is saying You promised this, this and the other and now Lord those same people as you one day -I read in your word that when Israel came to Canaan You did a favor to those people and you said to us "Don't kill them them, don't destroy them." And we obeyed you and did not destroy them. Now those same people look at how they pay us: they come to take us off our land.

Do you see how nice it is when you can use the word of God in that way? When you live in the word? That word is life within you, you can handle it in the positive sense of the word. You can use it as a sword at times... why do you think it speaks of the sword of the word? why did you use the image of a sword for the word? He did not use the word shield or the word helmet or sizing or boot. He used the word sword because the Bible is a sword, it is active.

The Bible says that it is "alive and effective". It is not an inert, passive weapon. She is alive. If you know how to use it, you can cut with it, break walls, destroy, hammer, dig deep. The Bible is a weapon -it is a weapon of war- for those who know how to use it and it is alive, and it cuts and penetrates and divides and breaks, breaks.

That's what the Bible does, that's why we have to know it.

Then he says to him, "Lord, to whose land you did not want Israel to cross when they came from the land of Egypt, but to turn away from them and not destroy them." “And behold, Lord…” -verse 11- “they pay us now by coming to throw us out of the inheritance that you gave us in possession. Oh, our God! You will not judge them." He appeals in a specific, clear, detailed way.

So it is that one has to pray, brother, one has to pray with first and last name, with clarity, detail before the Lord, precision, firmness, standing on what God has said. What one knows of, God's methods.

"Behold, they pay us back, throwing us off the land that You gave us. Oh, our God! Won't You judge them? Because in us there is no strength against so great a multitude that comes against us." He acknowledges: I don't have the answer.

When we are in difficult situations in life what we need to do is recognize that we do not have the answers. I have always said that there is no more powerful place for a daughter or a son of God than when they admit their powerlessness before the Lord.

And I say before the Lord, because if you admit your impotence simply in a passive way, from a wall that is not enough. But when you admit it before God, that powerlessness becomes power. It's the difference. Because by admitting your powerlessness, you open a void that God can fill and that is what we have to do in our lives: we have to admit, continually live secure: "I don't have what it takes for this crisis in my life."

So, look, and this is important: "In us there is no strength for such a large crowd. We don't know what to do." You see? The very root of prayer is that, the very root of all crying out to God is that: I don't know what to do. I don't have what I need and thank God that Josaphat did not stay there but says: "And to you we turn our eyes." Look, there is no more beautiful expression, I believe, in all of Scripture than those words: "We don't know what to do and we turn our eyes to you."

Those are immortal and beautiful words and I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ at this time in its history, in the two thousand years that the Church of Jesus Christ has been on earth, these words never apply. In the western world including the United States, Canada, all of Europe, many other countries in the world, even in Latin America, in other parts of the world, the winds of secularism, humanism, homosexuality, sexuality, heresy are blowing over the world.

The church of Jesus Christ does not have the answer, the church of Christ does not know what to do. In New England, for example, everything has been dealt with here and we have not given foot to the ball and the devil continues to overwhelm, possessing. In this nation, right now there is a government, with all due respect, I can tell you that it does not know God, nor does it know its principles or its methodology. Forgive me if you don't agree with that, but I believe so, because if you knew what God is, there are things that would not be allowed. There is no wisdom and there always has been, each government has its things, but in this time of history in Europe. Europe is already a desert, Europe is a post-Christian or at least pre-Christian land. I prefer to see it that way.

But the church, and this is a message rather for León de Judá, although it has an individual application as you have seen, this message is for the León de Judá congregation as a church and also for the church of Jesus Christ in a sense. The church is in a time of crisis right now and it has to admit that it doesn't know where to go, it doesn't know what to do.

If God does not put his hand, in a short time Christianity will be history. A small group of people out there without any type of influence will be worshiping the Lord or powerless crowds will be worshiping her but without access to the power machine, the influence. We will not have it, others will have it. We may be in our churches worshiping the Lord, but our church will be a refuge. There will be no power, there will be no word to influence humanity. You don't have to be a highly developed sociologist to understand that.

So the church of Jesus Christ at this critical time in history has to admit: 'We don't know what to do, Lord. We don't have the strategy.' And the church of Jesus Christ today has to admit its helplessness and turn to God and say: 'Lord, only You have the answer, only You know what can be done.'

Jehoshaphat summoned the entire nation. That prayer that he is making that I have read is being made before the entire nation of Judah to which he has summoned to pray and cry out to God. He called a National Assembly and there the women, children, husbands, and the elderly arrived. The whole nation was in a large square and their king was crying out to God and saying, 'Lord, look at what is happening. We don't have the answer, only you have it'

And then he says that at that moment, I think, he doesn't say it but I assume it, 'there was a silence'. The king finished praying and then the verse that follows I have always seen it as if it were a movie camera and we are looking at a screen and we are watching a drama and at the moment the cinematograph runs the screen slowly through the crowd and we can see as the camera slides across the screen we can see the scared and expectant faces of the people.

And there is a silence. Josafat has run out of material and is waiting or is he simply thinking "How do I close this?" and the people will also be waiting, listen to their king, they know they are in crisis. I imagine that it was a pregnant moment and a moment of great discomfort but also of great expectation and there was a sepulchral silence in all that great assembly. And for the moment the silence is broken by a prophetic voice.

Here in verse 14 it says: "Haziel was there -son of Zacharias, son of Benahiah, son of Beyel, son of Mattaniah- gives him the lineage of this man. He has an illustrious lineage spiritually. "Levite of the sons of Azaf" He was a priest who served the Lord and being the son of Azaf, of the sons of Azaf, if you look in the Psalms he was a family of worshipers. It was a family that... there are psalms of Azaf in writing. That is very Significantly, he came from a family of worshipers and if you look ahead, worship is going to play a very important role in the salvation that would come to Judah.

It's very important. I believe that God is calling this Congregation to truly worship God in the spirit and take time, like we took this afternoon for "Usher in the Glory of God," to bring down the Glory of God, praise is the platform upon which the spirit of God descends. Praise is the wings of angels that carry the worship of God's people to the throne of God. Praise is the lubricant that makes it possible for everything else to flow the way it is meant to. And I don't think it's a coincidence that God chose a man from a family of worshipers and that perhaps he himself was a musician, perhaps he himself was a worship leader and that man God chose.

Brothers, I tell you, that night that this Lady came here, the violinist, I heard the Lord give a word and it is that God wants our Church to move more in extraordinary adoration.

What do I say with extraordinary adoration? Let it be an adoration not of what we normally do, but adoration on unusual days and hours, in which we have to offer the Lord a true sacrifice of praise.

Because we already have Sunday marked, already in the morning the clothes are waiting for us standing in front of the bed, because they are ready, because we already do it every Sunday. But what God wants is Okay, let's do that to the sand and say, 'now we have to start over.' We are going to have to take different moments to worship the Lord and be intentional.

Extraordinary worship and take time to worship God and seek the presence of God. Routine has to go. I tell you brothers, that is part...

That is why God chooses a man, a worshiper. Because worship was going to be key, this passage has always been used throughout history as a paradigm, an example of how important war worship is to bring down the Glory of God in an area, in a situation.

Then that man breaks the silence. It says that "the spirit of the Lord came upon that man in the midst of the meeting." God descended in spirit and possessed as it were this man. And this man then spoke the direct word that came from the Spirit of God, from the mouth of God, came out through the mouth of this man and this man gave the people the instruction that the people needed.

Brothers, one of the things, God is calling this Congregation, he is calling his Church -with a capital i- to learn to flow more and more in the true gifts of the Holy Spirit and I say 'true' because there is a lot of false flow that is emotionalism and it is something else but it is not the true flow of God. The true flow of the gift of God is framed by the word of God.

You have to know the word, you have to know the principles of the word, you have to know the theology of the word and that is the instrument through which the sure, prophetic word of God can flow to the people of God.

We need to ask the Lord for wisdom on the balance of how to release the true word and the gifts, the true manifestation of God's gift upon his church. It is a time now in which the church needs sound instruction on how to channel the powerful and true move of God in its midst. There are many well-meaning people in the world.

God has allowed an explosion of power in these decades, the Pentecostal power. But today there is a lot of foam, a lot of foliage and the fruit is growing stunted because all the strength of the bush is going to the leaves and the bush that are growing chaotically. The pruner has to come and cut many branches so that the power of God can flow to go where it has to go, which is to the fruit.

There is a lot of worship today, there is a lot of congregation today that believes that it is flowing in the power of the spirit but it is something else and so now the apostolic order of God has to come to teach the Church how to channel that, how to lose weight, how to truly channel it and how to render worship to the Lord that is appropriate. A flow of the right spirit.

Both the traditional evangelical church and the evangelical Pentecostal church need instruction today in this time, correction, prophetic apostolic teaching on how to truly provide the Lord with a platform to move. Because the church is going to need and is desperately needing the genuine move of God in this time, his word, his power. And it is going to need it like never before because I believe that a time is coming in the history of the Church in which God is going to want to lower his power like never before and he is going to give the church an authority, a power, an influence , an administrative capacity like never before in history and the church is going to need the revelatory gifts of the Holy Spirit and the active gifts of the Holy Spirit to be able to carry out the task before it.

She is going to need teaching, instruction, correction, she is going to need apostolic authority, she is going to have to flow in authority, in teaching, in apostolic instruction to be able to do what God wants her to do and that is why it is needed in this time that descent from God's instructions.

I am going to continue speaking like this, as the Lord directs me.

At this time, God is calling... there are vessels, there are utensils that for centuries have been hidden in the Babylonian palace. For centuries they have been hidden and now the Lord is ordering that those utensils and vessels be taken out of that hidden place and returned to the temple of God to guide the church. This is the time, there are hidden truths in the word of God that now the Holy Spirit is going to be unleashing and activating so that the people of God can flow in the power and authority that He wants to flow.

Just like in the Old Testament when there was exile, when there was captivity, the holy vessels of the Sanctuary were taken and carried and possessed by the Medo-Persian and Babylonian kings and when the time came for the captivity to cease, Israel will return to the promised land. , God moved the heart of the King to release those vessels, those utensils so that they would be returned and installed again in the place of worship. You see?

And God has told me, has spoken to me about it months, months ago. Saying: 'It is time for the utensils that have been hidden for centuries because my people have been in captivity and disobedience and for a time I have withdrawn my glory and hidden it and restrained it and covered it with a veil. There has been manifestation of my glory but it is through a veil and the glory that you have seen is through a veil. They have seen it ethereal, nebulous, diffuse, indefinite. But I am going to open the veil so that you can see my glory in a different and clear way; defined'.

And that is why there are those utensils, those principles, those concepts of the true worship of God are being, are going to be released and are going to be released so that the Church of Jesus Christ can worship the true God and his glory can descend and manifest itself. as He wants on earth.

So there are truths that have been hidden, there are things that as God told Daniel in his book that at one time says that God would bring revelations that had been hidden. There are prophecies that have been closed, sealed with a key. No one has been able to open them, they have been sealed to the mind, they have been sealed as the image of Jesus was sealed when he approached the two men who were walking on the road to Emmaus and saw him but did not see him. Their minds were closed. And so the Church of Christ has read the word for centuries and there are truths that I believe have been closed waiting for God to say: "It is time, I am going to open the key to your minds, so that you can understand certain things and can flow in my glory, in my power."

I believe that in these times God is going to be speaking to his prophets, his apostles so that they can understand things that the Church is going to need in this time when God wants to give something very special to his people. And we have to be depending on that revelation from God. The church is going to have to flow in a revelation directly from the word of God, which is only going to come when we are able to provide God with the platform that He requires of worship and pure cry for his prophetic word to descend on his people, that allows him to solve the situations that the church needs to solve. The roadblocks, the dilemmas, the closures, the crises, the impotence. All these things have to be... God has to bring prophetic apostolic direction to his people and God's people have to learn how to flow into it and how to receive it.

Then, when the Spirit of God came upon... in the midst of the meeting Jaziel prophesied and said, verse 15: 'Hear doubt to all and you inhabitants of Jerusalem and your king Jehoshaphat, Jehovah says to you: "Do not fear, nor You will be frightened in front of this huge crowd because the war is not yours but God's".

God told them: 'Don't worry, this is not yours, this fight is not going to be fought by you, it will not be with human weapons.' What does the word say? 'The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for the destruction of strongholds.' There are weapons that the people of God use and what they have to use is the glory, the power of God and that is what destroys the enemy. Then he says: 'You don't have to fight this battle, it's God's. Don't be frightened.

That is why at this time, when I see so many things happening in this nation, in this country and in this city; you know what? The truth is that I have been calm and at peace. I never got depressed when we lost the battle... because we didn't lose it, I shouldn't use that expression... about marriage, about homosexuality and all that over there in the State House and a pro-homosexual person was installed and in the city of Boston there is a mayor -with respect- who is tremendously pro-homosexuality and homosexual marriage and all this. Stay there calmly, I have withdrawn because I have understood that the battle was another, in another way. And I don't regret any of that. But I decided at that time: I'm not going to get depressed, I'm not going to get discouraged and I've been looking for the glory of God, don't worry.

And there is a lot here regarding that instruction because the battle is not mine, the battle is none of us. That battle is from God. The church did not... Christ said that 'the gates of the devil and hell were never going to prevail against his Church.' Why believe that now it will be?

How many times have there been anti-Christian governments in the nations, they have persecuted the church including and God... they have gone, they have been trampled, dejected and they have fallen headlong before the true God. And so it will be with any nation, any people that stands in front of what God wants to do. They will have to fall, and the more they become corrupted and perverted, the faster and greater their fall will be.

God has his times, cycles, moments, phases and He knows when he does what he has to do. He is never late, he is never too early, he never misses a single shot. When He gives, He gives exactly where He wants to give and that is why we are calm because the battle is not ours. I understood that battle is not mine, if that was what He decided. Amen. He is God, He is well capable of defending his land and He knows what he is doing. We don't have to intimidate ourselves.

Although heaven and earth pass his word will not pass away. And then God said to him: "Do not be afraid, this is God's battle" and gave him instructions -verse 16-: "Tomorrow you will descend against them. Behold, they will go up the slope of Sisz and you will find them by the stream before the desert of Jeruel."

Hey me, this GPS of God told them exactly where they had to go. You know what? God had GPS before they invented it down here. It wasn't like he said to him Wow! What a cool invention these people made back in the 21st Century I'm going to buy a few for my angels! The Lord knew exactly where they were going and gave them precise and concise instructions: tomorrow they are going to go to such a place and they are going to come up here and they are going to believe that they are going to ambush them and you are going to be there waiting for them.

Do you know brothers? God always has a plan. God always has an answer, God always knows what is happening. Nothing takes God by surprise and God is not panicked by anything. He knows the movements of the enemy and He is calm, simply watching and exercising authority.

You remember that vision that I had of the Lion of Judah, that dream, years ago. What I saw was this cloud of poisonous spiders settling over the city of Boston, but on top of that was the face of the Lion, a lion, the lion of Judah with a steady, sure face, imminently confident and wise and the only thing that lion did was look at that scene. And I understood by looking at him that he was in control. With just him watching, he did everything he had to do.

He wasn't insecure, sad, or depressed, he just looked and with that look he controlled everything. And that is why when I saw that I said three times: 'You are the Lord, You are the Lord, You are the Lord' because the devil wants to rule the world but there is only one Lord, there is only one King of Kings, there is only one Lord of Lords and he is not going to get away with it, ever. Because God knows everything that is happening, he knows the moment, he knows how we have to do it.

We have to ask the Lord for strategies. What we have to do is ask the Lord for him to give us a prophetic word so that we know what we have to do. Because God has the answer for us and told them exactly where they had to go, where they had to wait for them and everything else was there, of course.

Then he told him: "There will be no fighting for you in this case." I believe that at this time God wants the fight to be His and that we simply move His glory, the lever is the glory of God, the power of God, that is our part: mobilize the glory of God and then He fights . That is what we have to learn as the church of Jesus Christ.

And look, those precious, beautiful, marvelous words: "Stop, be still, and see the salvation of Jehovah with you." What we have to see is a word with a clear direction and then we have to make a platform of that word and place ourselves on top of that word and wait on it and that the enemy roars around and the hurricane roars and we stand on that word and be still in the Lord.

The Lord has called me to be still in the Lord and God speaks to me so much in these days of stillness, rest, and rest. The world out there and the needs of the church do not allow me to be at rest physically. But I ask the Lord: "Lord, help me to be at rest in my spirit and in my soul. That I move and do different things but that my spirit does not worry, does not burn, that I can be calm within myself. I seat in you. What you have declared".

And that is what we have to ask the Lord at this time.

God is speaking to me a lot, a lot about God's rest. Keep the Sabbath, in the sense of God's rest. Rest in Him, strengthen me. get strong. That is why I have stopped doing many of the things that I was doing before and it hurts my heart because I sometimes think 'my friends who were involved in so many battles.

I was in so many meetings, in so many things, leading them and for the moment I have gotten in here in this church and they don't see me in many things'.

And I think that some of them, perhaps I am imagining it, think that I was demoralized by that defeat. But I don't have to obey what God tells me: 'Be still. rest in me Strengthen yourself, look for me, fill yourself up and see the salvation that I am going to do'.

And one cannot be obeying their emotions and what they will say, or anything. One has to obey what God says. Because if that's what God told you, that's what you have to do. Do not do anything outside of God's will.

At this time, brothers, let me confess something to you, there are many things that I do and do not do outside of the will of God who imposes it on me; many pastoral and human considerations - which are you, excuse me - I say this: many things that in my interior spirit I would like to be different but I do not have, I do not feel the authority and I do not feel that I have what this church needs to do what truly ... I understand that and I believe that God also understands it, but there is a time for everything.

And there is a time when one has to leave what he was as a child and move as a man of God and there are times - I prophesy again - Lion of Judah has been living for a while in a dispensation, so to speak.

God has moved us in different dispensations. Cambridge was a dispensation, and after Cambridge came Boston, and Boston was a resting place for a time and of greater height. God called us here.

He allowed us in Cambridge to fight some battles, to grow, to develop some identity, and then he said, "Cross the river and come to Boston." The level of war increased, the level of work and testing increased. Here we became more warriors, here we learned many things, here we grew in certain things.

And now God is calling - this is a prophetic word - this spiritual family to go to another level, to cross another river, to enter another dimension of action and power and authority and to move in the spirit. And this is a time... I don't understand everything clearly, but I'm here taking out what's been inside for a long time.

Because it is time to leave the things that are childish and speak in another way. God is calling this church now, another level, there is another battlefield that we have to undertake and there will be changes. There have to be changes. The first change has to be in me, my identity, my way of acting, my way of moving. I have to ask the Lord to break many things, many structures that were good for a while but now it's like God is saying 'That time has passed'.

Now is another time, because we have to flow in God's times. If you are ahead of God's timing and you want to act in a certain way when you have not yet received that authority, you are going to fail, you are going to fail because you were not given that authority.

But I have always said 'Lord when the time comes... and sometimes I tell them all the time I have been fighting because I wonder 'Lord am I enduring your glory? Am I conquering your spirit? Is it my cowardice or is it truly discernment that You tell me "it is not the time, wait for the time" to move in another way?'

And that is an agony that one suffers many times inside, because one wants to be faithful to God and one wants to be responsible with his people. But there comes a time when one has to speak and say things and the coot duck comes out, they say out there. Whatever, whatever happens: 'if I perish, let me perish' as Esther said. Whatever happens, if I remain silent and do not say these things now, then I am going to be spoiling the anointing of God and the call of God for my life and for this congregation.

And at a higher level of glory and authority, there is a higher level of responsibility and seriousness and danger as well. So God speaks to this congregation and says 'My children you have received much, but much is expected of you and it is time for you to stop playing dolls and now enter into a serious game of high stakes. and of great risks and great potential gain, too'.

And that means: "Brothers, I speak to you here in the spirit of the Lord, let me tell you, this church and I, as I am constituted up to this moment, are not prepared for what God wants from us."

We are not prepared, we are not the army that God needs. There are many people here who, if the enemy attacks or if there is God's call for war, are going to flee, they are going to be destroyed, they are going to be scattered. This army is not capable. God has blessed this Congregation. I love and am in love with my Congregation. It is a beautiful, diverse Congregation, enriched with so many beautiful things, but it is not the Congregation that God wants. Nor am I the Pastor that God wants.

God needs the instruments, the elements that He has placed in us now to be strengthened and tightened and that there be purification, there is condensation, there is unification, there is discipline, there is flowing in authority and under authority. We still have many spoiled children in diapers in this Congregation.

Brothers, I say this with the greatest love that you can imagine. There is not a drop of anger or condemnation in that word. Simply an objective and clinical diagnosis from the mouth of God and I also say that- God loves us.

Let me tell you, I feel happy with the church that God has given me to pastor. In this city León de Judá is held in high esteem and for many people León de Judá is a model and is an exemplary Congregation.

But I tell you today, I can tell you because I have known it for a long time- that, I told the deacons in a retreat that we had recently and where a lot of this has come out, we are a talented church, talented but we are not a united church. There is a difference.

We have great talent but we lack true anointing and I am not ashamed to say that. Some brothers have believed that they are giving me news by saying something similar to me through the months and months. I listen to them and I let them think what they want because I know what God has said and I understand well that this has simply been a transitional time for us to enjoy what He gives us, to learn.

In the Bible there are always clear patterns. When a man got married in ancient Israel he was given time to be with his wife enjoying her and she enjoying him. They were not sent to war and they were given free time to form a couple and as a married couple and then later they were called, they could be called to war.

God is very wise in what he does. And before the war comes, the time of preparation has to come, of rest, of enjoying what God has given and then the war comes, then the preparation comes. One has to learn to move in what is of the moment, God's time.

When times change, we change too. Now I tell you in the spirit that our Congregation does not know what it is to move under the apostolic authority and under the prophetic authority.

I myself do not know how to move in the apostolic and prophetic authority although I tell you -in the name of the Lord- I said it this morning and I declare it again: I am a prophet of God. I am an apostle of God.

No, don't clap, please, no. I tell you this with fear and trembling and it's like he took every word out of me with pliers so he could say it.

I have repressed those things because there are so many people who are declaring themselves apostles and prophets. I don't need you, nobody to tell me this. I say this for God, I do not say it for you. I say this because I have to say certain things and declare them in public because that is part of what has to be done so that what God wants is fulfilled.

This morning I felt - there in my house I said - if I say this perhaps I ask that they come and anoint me from the Congregation. I did not dare to do it and these people came to pray for me so that... there are things that have to be fulfilled, things that have to be done according to God's patterns. I do not need anyone to call me an apostle, nor am I going to mention that. No one ever, don't mention it. All it takes is saying it and I say it against my will and against my desire and against my emotions. On the contrary, that complicates my life tremendously.

But I believe that God has a call for my life. I'm not the last Coca-Cola in the desert, I'm not the only prophet, I'm not... but that's something. I have moved in a pastoral option and I have tried to do the best I can within that option. But I believe that there is another option that God has and there is a preparation for all things.

And then I say this and there the Lord. I say it in obedience to God, now that He does with it, that's His business.

But I believe that the church of Jesus Christ needs that apostolic, prophetic word that comes from the mouth of God and passes through the established authorities so that when that word falls on the people, it is a word full of nutrients... I said this morning - it is like the mother's milk from her breast, it comes directly, its life, its nutrients into the baby's mouth and the life of the mother is transmitted to that creature - that milk has a virtue that no other milk in the world has. world and so it goes.

When the prophetic word of God comes out of the mouth of God and falls and the people learn to move, they are moving in the very energy, the very life of God and there is a power in that, an authority, and a virtue that has no no other word. Nor is this one that is essential, important and frames everything else, but that word that came out of God's oven for the precise and necessary moment has something that is important, key, irreplaceable and that is what the church needs in this time: instruction, word, clarity

For that, a church with a capital i or a small i is needed, there you, that knows how to flow under authority. Have a supernatural mindset.

A seasoned church, an integral and responsible church that knows what it has to do.

Neither you nor I understand what it is to move in authority.

I give you such small examples. Many times there are ushers that when they take someone to say 'please move to a seat so that a visitor can sit' and you, some of you give them withering looks and complain and resist and make life miserable. And sometimes we put things to the side just so that no one sits next to it, knowing that there are people who have to sit.

Sometimes a parking attendant tells you to 'move your car' and you don't want to. It makes life difficult for him. That town does not know how to flow in authority. I don't mean that damningly, all churches do. But that town does not know how to flow in authority.

There are times when there are changes that have to be made in the ministries and other things and one does not dare. There is advice that must be given to people when they come to seek advice, they do not dare because the people do not know how to flow in authority. And that town is a weak town, it's a town... it's limping.

When God's people move like an army in authority and in discipline and in precision, that's too powerful a grace.

There are people who do not read his word, who do not pray. They come to church and sit there, who knows why and they need to change. 50% of our church, I told the deacons, brothers, and again love, love, love, love. 50% of our church needs an encounter with the risen Christ...

No, don't say Amen because maybe you are... and if you say it that way for you to receive it: Amen. But maybe that's for you.

I am telling you there are 50% brothers, there are many of you who have recently met the Lord. Many of you come from families that never knew Christ and you are the first. But there are so many people who spend years in the desert, wandering around, they don't change.

They have not entered where they have to enter. I tell you in the name of Jesus as a spiritual father: put your batteries together. Stop coming to church just like you come to mass.

This is not a mass. This is a place of extreme presence and seriousness of God. There are going to be changes in character, morality, way of living, way of speaking, habits. You have to change. Enough of mass. Enough of wandering in the desert. God is calling us to something different.

When you are told: "Look, there are discipleship, there are classes that you have to take." Take them! Prepare yourself in the spirit, know the word of God. Not simply, when that moment arrives, ignore it and here is the Pastor squeezing: 'Please take a blessed class' and you there, quiet, you do nothing. Study the word, convert to the Lord.

Knees bow, hands rise, tears flow so that the Lord may visit his people, visit your life and transform it and make you a man or a woman of God, as God wants.

The Lord says: "No more masses. No more masses"

God wants a brave people, a true people. It's time now, let's leave the doll game, as I said. This is serious, this is real and we need to... there have to be changes.

I do not know where all this that I am saying is leading, but there must be changes. That is clearly said by the spirit of the Lord.

There has to be changes in all of us. It is a different time and this is required.

But look, I'm finishing, this is the time, but what's more, I'm not going to apologize. It is what I have to learn, it is not possible more. Sometimes you're too nice to people, too nice.

The times of that... if you have to leave, go with God's blessing. There is no shame in doing it.

Leave because there are commitments, but the rest of you stay and listen to what I have to say; what the word of God has to say. This is a clear and foundational sermon, fundamental for the people of God. God is speaking to his people. Listen to it because it's important. Even if there was no one here, I would have to preach this and it would have the same value because it is being declared before the devil and before God...

That is what matters, they are judicial matters that have to be declared and that is why all of this is so important. Then brothers the prophet tells them: 'Stop, be still and see salvation. Do not fear or lose heart, tomorrow go out against them because God will be with you.'

And then he came what happened? when they received that word they say they prostrated themselves and adored and received it as the word of God. They sealed it and signed it: 'we received it from you, Lord. It is word'. Because? Because it had to be done. If you asked God for direction and God gave a prophetic word, you had to sign on that word.

But look here is where I was going and where I am going and where I have been going. But this is the important thing.

It says: "When they got up in the morning, they went out where God had told them..." You have to obey the Lord when He gives a word, you have to obey Him. ..."and while they were leaving, Jehosaphat stood up and said something to them".

Stand there for a moment. It is morning, people have already had their tea and I imagine that throughout Judah there were little lights on in the houses, you could see the little lights and it was early morning. And I imagine that the people were thinking about what had happened yesterday and what God had said and how they had felt the presence of God. But this morning when it's time to start doing what they have to do, people's feet are getting cold and I imagine that happens to us many times.

When you get out of here, you know what? You are going to get in your car and as Sister Gloria MarroquĂn said this morning, many of us are going to say 'that was emotion'. Could it have been God who spoke or was it just me who is the flesh?

These questions are natural, the tendency at a time of visitation one believes certain things; one celebrates them, one receives them but later when the time comes to put it to the test, anyone's feet get cold. Because it was contrary to everything that could be expected. Rather, they had to strengthen the walls, put up barriers to the enemy, prepare the men of war so that they would at least fight to the death. But God is telling them: "No! Go out against them, move my glory and believe what my prophet has said. Go out to meet them. Do not wait for them to come, go out to meet them."

And then Jehoshaphat, understanding this, stops before those people who are already starting to leave -I imagine the king of Judah waiting in a place- and says to them: 'Wait a minute. Listen to me Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem'.

And this is the word of God, this is what I have been thinking after I preached these sermons, these words have been working in my mind. I never preached them but God has told me: 'You have to proclaim that. That which was left in the inkwell, you have to say it'. And that's what I'm doing this morning.

That's why I tell you, when I got here this morning, all I had was this word and it's a very small section.

"Hear me Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem. Believe in the Lord your God and you will be safe. Believe his prophets and you will prosper."

Brothers, there is the heart of the matter and there is the very center of the health of the people of God at this time. Believe God. Because you have to believe God and you have to know God and believe that God is the same yesterday, today, forever. And that the same one who worked in a certain prophetic way in the first century is capable of working in that way in this 21st century.

So you have to believe God. But look, the most, this is the most painful for me to say and yet it is the most important, because many of us say: "Well, I believe God." But that, "believe his prophets and you will prosper"

Knows? If you truly believe there is prophetic word in this and if the church of Christ is going to move the way it has to move... I've said that before in large gatherings of New England people - we're going to have to learn how to move in the apostolic, prophetic word.

There will have to be a presbytery in regions and in nations that when from that word all the people of God align themselves to that word and flow in the apostolic prophetic word.

Right now, there is not that on earth, there is not in the regions, but I believe that it has to come and it is the time for it to come.

Because God is preparing a time for his church now in which nations and governments are going to have to listen to the word of the church and it is going to be a word where kings will tremble when they see the church say something. And they are going to have to fear and respect the church and the church is going to move in that authority, in that power and it will be better for that church to know what it has to do and how it has to move and that it is proceeding as a well-managed, well-coordinated army, flowing under the revelation of God that goes through his apostles and prophets.

That's what Ephesians 2:20 says: "You are no longer strangers or strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, members of the family of God built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone." .

Jesus Christ will always be the foundation and his word that does not change, but on that word and that authority and those principles and those concepts is the apostolic prophetic word that is what made this Bible: John, James, Peter, Paul established the platform of the church and on that is that we move; about what God gave to his apostles and his prophets in the old testament: the word of God poured into human flesh to be channeled.

And this is the time when it has to be like that.

So, brothers, we have to ask the Lord to help us flow in authority."Believe his prophets and you will prosper" that is what the word of the Lord says and that is what I have to learn, too, and you all have We have to learn how to move in that authority and how to prepare ourselves for what is coming. Brothers, get ready.

A large portion of this Congregation is present right now - if the enemy attacks, he will attack that weak part of the church - many of you need and this is the time. Don't feel embarrassed, but if you know that you are one of those, start. I am going to have... we already started talking with the main leaders of the Congregation, I had a meeting.

I have to understand and we have to understand what that means for us to give you the necessary instructions.

But when you receive that instruction you have to obey, you have to move. You are not going to be asked, I am not going to ask you to give me the key to your car so that... no, no! that's not what we're talking about.

You will not be asked to give title to your home. No! But that you do what you have to do according to the word of God to be a man or a woman of God, a warrior, a warrior of God.

That's what we're talking about. Things backed by the word of the Lord and we have a great responsibility to give that clear word of God to you.

If you come forward here, receive Christ, see if you receive him and you truly had an experience, an encounter, that means then that you have to seek Him. Understand what the lordship of Christ is, understand what you did. How are you going to understand it if you don't take time to study the word? If you don't undergo a learning process, study the word, if you don't align your life, if you don't change things?

This church has flowed like that in a very loose way because that's what God has allowed for a while. But it is another time and then you have to move in another way and there have to be adjustments, changes, learning, practice.

Praise God that Judah understood that and they said 'Okay we believe that what happened yesterday was the word of God and now we receive them.' When they left, the Lord showed them exactly what they had to do and that day they began to worship the Lord and the Glory of God fell and that powerful and irresistible army destroyed itself, everyone, they killed each other, says the Bible and the people Israel did not have to do anything, simply manifest the glory of God and then they spent days collecting the spoils and returned to Jerusalem with great wealth.

That town that a moment ago was a beggar and an impotent returned with glory and wealth. Understands? That is.

Because? Because they moved according to prophetic authority. They listened to the word of God, they obeyed it, they humbled themselves and obeyed instructions. That is what the Lord calls us at this time.

Let's get into these waters and let God guide us. I know one thing: that when one obeys God and does it... there is no loss, there is no disaster. If you ask God for bread, he will not give you a stone and if you ask for an egg, he will not give you a scorpion because God loves his children. So that's the word of the Lord to you and me today. Receive the. I declare it in the name of Jesus, in the Spirit of God.

Stand up for a moment. I want the musicians to come here for a moment. Ask the Lord right now, seal that word in your spirit. Seal it in your spirit. Declare it there within you and believe it in the name of Jesus, believe it, believe it. I have to say, I believe it, Lord, I believe it.

It is you who are speaking, it is you who have spoken, Lord. Now show us the way, Father. Show us the way. Show us the way.

I pray that the Lord gives wisdom, brother Samuel and the others. Let the Lord speak to you and seal this word in your spirit. Creates.

Tell him 'Sir, I believe. I believe in this word. Help me live it. Father, I ask that you seal the hearts of my brothers, mine with this word. I release it on the body of your people in the name of Jesus. Gather wings and visit each one of your children and then leave here to other places too and those who were here today and those who have not been receive the energy of this word, Lord.

Untie her, Lord. In the name of Jesus we unleash it. We declare it.

Do what you have to do, Lord, but don't leave us. Don't leave us barren. We want to bear fruit for you and we want to bring glory and gain to your kingdom and your name. So I unleash the health of God, the life of God on the people of God, the word of God in the name of Jesus that flows and runs and that settles in our hearts. Let it be installed in the very context of this church.

Teach us how to be a people that flows under authority, Lord. We want your glory, Father, to occupy the earth, that your glory occupy the earth, Lord. Purify us, heal us, forgive us, sanctify us, cleanse us, cleanse us, Lord. Heal us, circumcise us, Lord, our minds, hearts, spirits, bodies, circumcise them.

Sanctify us. Teach us to be a people that glorify you, Father

Do it do it. We so desire, hunger, thirst to see your glory, to see your glory, to see your glory, and to know you as you have told us you can be known. This is how we want to know you, Lord. Allow us the privilege, in this time, your time to meet you. We have heard of that God, we have read of him. We've seen glimpses of him, but we don't know him Lord and we want to know him

We want to meet you, we want to meet you. Show us your face, Lord. Blessed and praised be your name, Jesus. Wait a minute there in the Lord, brother, sister, wait a minute.

Stay there brother, sister, keep praying. Thanks God.
