Summary: The speaker encourages the congregation to continue attending Wednesday services, as they believe that God is doing something special in the Church at this time. They read from Nehemiah Chapter 8, where the people of Israel gathered to hear the Book of the Law being read. The speaker emphasizes the importance of meditating on the Word and delving deeper into its meaning. They also highlight some of the verses that were read earlier in the service, including Psalm 86, Psalm 121, and First Corinthians 10:3-5. The speaker urges the congregation to submit their thoughts to the obedience of Christ.

The speaker emphasizes the importance of taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and surrendering anxieties to God. He encourages the audience to read and meditate on the Bible, recognizing its value and power to transform lives. The speaker ends with a prayer for wisdom, supernatural revelation, and blessings for the audience, and urges them to greet each other in peace.

There is something that the Lord moved me to share with you today and I think it is something very special and I want to tell you, my brothers, I want to encourage you. I want to encourage you that you can continue taking these times out on Wednesdays, I believe in my heart that God is doing something special right now.

In other words, there is something that God is doing in the atmosphere of the Church, without a doubt the Spirit of God is moving in a new, refreshing way, the lives of the people... look, we will have our ailments day by day. But I believe that even in the midst of these things, God is using them to strengthen his people, to encourage his people, to prepare his people for something precious that he has kept in his heart for each one of us, so I encourage him. , encourage other people you know who can benefit from coming here, if you want to bring visitors bring visitors.

Look, I even pray because we are doing business with the Hampton Inn so that we can have parking and that people can come and we can park without any problem.

Look, we want the people, the town to be blessed. I believe that God is moving us to new dimensions in our life of faith, not only at the individual level, but I believe that at the corporate level as well, and that from the corporate level this is transmitted to the community in which we live. That is something that God always works in these ways, God is not only going to bless you so that you stay fat there in the seat, or fat; Rather, God is going to bless you, God is going to bring a blessing to your life so that something emanates from you that reaches the people around you, so that you can move in a firm, efficient, effective way to transmit that blessing from God. to other people around you.

So close that capsule and I'm going to what I'm going to talk about today. But brethren, look, there is a purpose for which I felt moved today so that we could read the Scripture today.

We haven't done this in a while, wow! I think that almost a year ago, if I'm not mistaken, I had done this, we took a moment to read different scriptures and I don't know if you notice it, my brothers, but when we read the Word there is something -let me put it that way- there is something very different when you sit at home and read the scripture by yourself than when you get here and someone reads it out loud and you kind of receive something in another dimension. I don't know if it has happened to you or if I am the only abnormal person who perceives that, but strange, thanks for the correction... different, there it is... it sounds like a word that is a little strong there. We can avoid that in the video.

Oh! Look, by the way, brothers, thank God we are starting to broadcast... well, we are going to start broadcasting the Wednesday services also through the Internet because there are people; the Church of the internet are asking for more, more, more. So the reach that we have is coming.

I tell you, my brothers, for me it is something very humbling, how do you say this? humble is not the word. It is something that fills me, it moves me because two days ago I received an email from a person, a brother in Patagonia there in Argentina, that Brother Ernst Diehl recorded the message last Wednesday and put that message on the internet and that message that fast that brother saw that message there in Patagonia there in Argentina and he wrote me a message of how much blessing that message was for his life.

And I was like... wow! Lord in Patagonia, look at that. There in Patagonia we send God's blessing too and wherever you are, so we hope that the word of God is a blessing for you today.

But, look, turn with me to the book of Nehemiah Chapter 8.

-To the "che" there in Argentina, definitely. Hey, hey?

Nehemiah Chapter 8. There is a very interesting word here that I want to share with you. And it's going to be a little short but I just want to highlight something in there for everyone. I'm going to be reading from a new version, this is the new international version so follow me... follow me the good ones. Nehemiah Chapter 8.

"When the seventh month arrived, the Israelites were already established in their cities, then all the people gathered as one man in the square that is in front of the Water Gate and asked Master Esdras, Priest Esdras to bring the Book of the Law which the Lord had given to Israel through Moses. So on the first day of the seventh month Ezra the Priest brought the Law before the Assembly which was composed of men and women and all who could understand the reading and He read it in their presence in the Plaza in front of the water gate.

"All the people were very attentive to the reading of the book of the Law" -I want to emphasize this- ALL the Town WAS VERY ATTENTIVE to the reading of the Law, they were VERY ATTENTIVE... tell the person next to you side, say: 'You are very attentive and emphasize the “very attentive” even though it sounds like a cow, but say “sooo” attentive. In other words, you are very attentive to what is being read now, right?

"Then the teacher Esdras stood up on a wooden platform…" -I am going to impersonate the teacher Esdras now- standing on a wooden platform, "built for the specific occasion. To his right were Matías, Sená, Anias , Urías, Hilquías, Maceias and to their left Pedaísa, Misael, Malquias, Hasum, Hasbadana, Zacarías and Mesulam.”

How many of you would name one of your children like that? Meshulam, right? Well, I know someone named Misael, I can say that. Very good person, by the way.

"Ezra," -verse 5- whom the people could see because he was in a higher place -as I am now-, "opened the Book and all the people stood up".

Check this out. This is the type of situation that any Pastor in his Church, the day a Pastor opens the Bible and all the people stand up and do the following:

"Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God, and all the people raised their hands and answered: Amen! and Amen! and then they worshiped the Lord, bowing down until their foreheads touched the ground!"

Look at the reaction that the mere fact of just opening the book caused in the town. If that happens to a Pastor in his Church: that one day when he opens the book, people stand up and say Amen! and amen! and that they throw themselves headlong to the floor in adoration of God, that is going to be the day that they are going to have to give the Pastor mouth-to-mouth resuscitation because he is going to be stunned.

Let me try this. 'When the book was opened, the people raised their hands and shouted: Amen! and Amen!' Amen and Amen!… Okay, not yet, not yet…

The Scripture says that the People when Esdras opened the book the People raised their hands and shouted Amen! I haven't opened the book yet. The people raised their hands and shouted Amen! and amen! When he opened the book... (Audience present:) Amen! and amen!

Oh! Very nearly. Well they stopped, even more.

Look, this my brothers, there is something in that passage that captivated me. Because the time this was happening was the time Nehemiah was restoring all the people of Israel. They were restoring the city walls, they were restoring the order of worship, they were restoring everything that had to do with the law that they followed.

Remember that the people of Israel had been in slavery, had been living in ruins for so long. An oppressed people, a people who had no resources, a people who did not see the light at the end of the tunnel, it was a people who had already lost their sense of hope, who did know that there was a word, a promise that had been given to them, but they had already spent so much time living in that scarcity, so much time living in that misery, so long that they had been waiting for God to say something, to do something, but the reality they faced was so, so strong that they had already discouraged.

They had lost their hope in that word. But it wasn't until Nehemiah arrived impregnated with this vision of God to restore his people that he was pricked in his heart because he knew that his people, that his brothers, that his sisters were in all that desolation that he went and did something different. . He made an effort and sought a way to restore everything that is, everything that the people of Israel means. Their system of government, their system of law, their system of worship, the system of how the priests functioned in the temple was a total restoration.

And in the center of all this restoration, look what was there, in the middle of all that restoration was the law, was the Word. There was the foundation of that nation.

What they were doing there was restoring the order of worship to God, they were bringing to memory everything that the word of God said to benefit the people, bringing to memory how the people had to live before God. And there is a moment in which it was being read and because of what was being received from that Word, the people were so distressed and they thought like: "Wow! We are not living according to that law, well, we are in total sin before of God" and the people were sorry and wept before God. But Nehemiah had to encourage the people and say: "Ahh! Cheer up my people, cheer up, because today, today this word has come true in our midst. Today God has returned to restore his presence in our midst."

All this because the Law began to be read. Because they returned to the foundation.

You know what, my brothers? I come back and say this: when we read this Word, if we sit at home, like someone who says "let me open there at random to see what Word I fall into and see what I read", if we read like this, if we proceed with this in this way . Look, you know what? Maybe you won't get much use out of it. When this Word says that you have to read it, that you have to meditate on it, that you have to scrutinize it, that to a certain extent you also have to memorize it, that is what it means is that I cannot afford to have to read like this: verse 1 , verse 2, verse 3 and keep reading around -like a race- to see how much I can read in a minute or an hour.

What that means is that I have to sit down to analyze, to go deeper because there is something, there is something in these words when one reads them that causes something in the heart. Look, if we think about the texts that were read a few minutes ago, if I remember on the one hand: brother Rafael began by reading Psalm 86.

Psalm 86 some of the words he says, verse 3:

'Have pity on me, Lord, because I cry out to You all day long,

Comfort the spirit of Your servant

Because to You Lord I raise my soul.

Those Words if one reads them, and it is as if I read them to the parrot, because they are heard just like that. But do you know what this means when you go word for word? Have pity, Lord, on me, that all day I cry out to you.

If I read another Word, someone read Psalm 121 somewhere:

'I will lift up my eyes to the mountains,

Where does my help come from?'

...my help doesn't come from The Bank of America, my help doesn't come from the title I have pinned to the wall, my help doesn't come from the neighbor next door who can give me a glass of milk when I need it, my help comes of... Jehovah.

Someone also read Psalm 34, I think it was Marina, if I'm not mistaken. He started reading in the part that says... verse 7, right?

'The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him and defends them.' Look at that Word.

Wherever you go the angel of Jehovah is around you, he is there with you and defends and protects you. And maybe you can tell me: "Ah! But why did that happen to me? Where was the angel?" or "Why did they do this to me when I was there, where was the angel?"

That is one of the questions that I would say that is for God to know and for you to find out.

That's for God to know and for you to find out. I wish I had the answer to all things! but unfortunately I don't have them but I know there is a Word there.

And if you are here it is because the angel of Jehovah encamped around you and protected and defended you. What maybe something worse could have happened? But you are here.

Abraham, did you read something in First Corinthians 10, I think it was? First Corinthians 10... Second Corinthians 10, I really liked this too. What was the verse? Three?

"Well, although we live in the world, we do not fight battles like the world does because the weapons with which we fight -but let me not be confused, let me read it in the version that is-: "the weapons of our militia are not carnal , against mighty in God for the destruction of strongholds.." and then the other part, leading what? "Taking captive every thought to the obedience of Christ Jesus."

You know what my brothers? That verse is a key verse: "Taking captive every thought to the obedience of Christ." When a thought says, 'Wow! I want when I get out of here to go to the bar on the corner and give myself an old stick'. Look, submit that thought to the obedience of Christ, don't go to the corner and go home and have a glass of milk. That's true.

Manuel, what was the one you read? First Peter 5:6. "Humble yourselves, then, under the mighty hand of God so that He may exalt you in due time. Cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares - for whom? - for you."

Listen to me, I don't know about you, but why do I have to walk with all the anxieties on my back when I can easily deposit them in the care of God and have him take care of each one of them?

It does not mean that I play crazy and that I get confused with the things that I have to work on, but it does mean that the anxiety that these things can bring does not affect me to such a level, but rather that I can deliver those things to the Lord so that I can then receive the wisdom, the discernment that is needed to know how to deal with each and every one of those things.

For me to be vulnerable enough so that when someone says to me: "Omar, I believe that there is this aspect of your character that you have to work on" that I do not pull the nails out of that person but rather that I can receive. 'Okay, well, I have to work on myself. Well, let me do it then."

The word of God, my brothers, look, I tell you, there are some things in this book that are half nebulae, that one says to oneself like, wow! and where did that come from? What if the father of such and such slept with that other and if he cheated on him and tricked him but and with all that, God's blessing was on that person. Wow!

There are some stories here that are somewhat rare, I have to admit, but it is the story of God in humanity and in some way or another from there we get that life that we need to be able to live our own novels and dramas. How many of you watch soap operas? Let's see by showing hands, how many watch soap operas?

You know what? I think all of you should raise your hand because you are all part of a novel. They don't see it because they are living it, obviously! They are living it, they are watching it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every second you breathe when the only thing you don't see is when you're sleeping that soap opera

There are some that are best sellers, there are some that have volumes, uff! a bookstore those novels. There are some novels that have chapters that have not been closed, there are many novels that have chapters that are about to start. Look what I'm saying, my brothers. Did you hear what I'm saying right? Because I'm saying it with an intention. There are novels... it's not that you don't watch them... watch them.

There are novels here and there too, there are novels out there that have chapters that haven't been closed, chapters that have remained in an ellipsis, and there are novels that have chapters that are about to begin. Exciting chapters, maybe a little dark chapters, chapters that will be full of adventure, suspense, but the novel gets better because the main character, the main characters are, you know who? you and God and in the middle of each one of those chapters there is a Word that is infused in your midst.

What is my moral for tonight? Brothers, there is a life that is closed here in this book. Please don't take it for granted, let's not see it as just another book. I know that it is difficult sometimes to take the time disciplinedly to sit and read and meditate because it takes time, brothers, I know that it takes time.

If we want to really take advantage of this, we have to take that time, even if it's half an hour, where one can sit and read even a verse and that verse I chew on, and chew on and get the juice out of it until I can't.

But there is a life that is centered here, my brothers, and there is something that God brings to each one of us. There is something that God brings into your life when you read it, when you listen to it being read.

There is something that God brings, there is a revelation, there is a light that suddenly turns on at night and brings direction to your life. Now, what happened to the people of Israel? Look when this book was opened they had a party, raised their hands and shouted Amen! and amen!

What does Amen mean? So be it.

Picture that: raising my hands and saying, "Lord, so be it" and then throwing myself headfirst into worship. What I read, Lord, so be it. Amen. Those words, those promises that You give me, so be it, that if I have to cry and if I have to suffer for a moment... so be it, because later I know that I will see your Glory working in my midst. life. But there is something, there is a life that is centered here that I say Amen! to that.

It's more I hold you accountable to it. I hold you responsible to your own words. The things that you say that you are going to do in the middle of my life were said 2000 years ago and who knows if more. But I know that You have life even now. In other words, I hold You, Lord, responsible for those words also because they are words that come from you.

You say that You have peace, that You have peace plans to give us the ending that we expect, not an ending of destruction, but that You have a good ending for each one of us.

It is a word that you say, it is marked in red in the Bible, which are the words of Jesus, well look, they are your words. I put up with that.

There is a life that is given there, my brothers, let's grab that life, let's grab that word that penetrates and that transforms everything that the Lord is doing in the midst of our lives.

This word is eternal. What's more, I'm going to give you a preview of next week.

Listen to this: when the eternal touches the internal, it transforms the external.

I'll say it again: when the eternal touches the internal, it transforms the external. It's a tongue twister, that's why...let me say it again so that I can learn it myself: When the eternal touches the internal, it transforms the external. This word is an eternal word. God's words will not pass away. When that word reaches the interior and transforms the interior, everything that is reflected outside is also transformed.

We are going to stand up and we are going to pray. Thank you Jesus, thank you God, thank you Lord.

Father, we adore you and we bless you Lord because you are great, you are beautiful, you are precious. Your mercy is forever, there is nothing and no one that compares to you Jesus.

Oh Lord! My soul praises you and blesses you. My soul praises and blesses you, Lord. I just want to worship you right now, Jesus. That Your word is alive, it is so real, Lord. Your Word that pierces the depths of our being.

You are centered in that word, Lord, you are there, you are present in each letter, in each syllable, in each verse, in each sentence, you are there in one way or another. Lord, I recognize the value of Your word, the weight that Your word has, Lord.

The power to rearrange our lives and align ourselves with your purposes and the desires of your heart. Your word that rots the yoke of the enemy in the midst of our hearts. Your word that fans the fire of Your presence in our midst. Father, I lift up Your word on high, be it a word that consumes our entire being.

Father, let it be a word that runs like fire through all our bones and that consumes all roughness, that rots, Lord, all ties and that brings the freedom that only You can give in the midst of our hearts.

Father, I ask for wisdom for your people, Lord, to be able to understand Your word. I ask for a gift of supernatural revelation to be able to know your mysteries, your designs, your secrets, your plans, your purposes. Not only for our individual lives but also to know how You want us to be instruments of your justice, instruments of your peace in the neighborhoods where we live, in the sectors where we live, in our workplaces, in our places of study.

Lord, Oh Father! may Your word flow in the midst of your people, Lord. That we can speak to each other, Lord, with your word to pamper us, Lord, so that Your word cancels any thought, Lord, that is revealed against you. That we can always live according to that Word, internalize it, make it ours, Lord.

So that you take your place in our midst always. Father, I ask that your blessing, Lord, be upon each one of my brothers and sisters tonight. This word that I have shared Jesus, that this word becomes alive, real in the midst of their hearts, that they can leave here... that this word is not forgotten, Lord, but that they can reach their homes and continue meditating in her.

Father, keep the dream of each one of my brothers and sisters. I ask you, when I see the faces of my brothers here, I ask you please that you grant them a restful sleep.

Father, remove all anxiety that prevents my brothers and sisters from sleeping and resting well tonight.

Put Your hand on that pillow Jesus, put Your hand on that pillow, Lord. Caress their hair, that they can sleep peacefully in You In peace I will lie down and I will also sleep because You Lord are with us.

And that tomorrow, if You allow it, Jesus, that You grant us the strength, the energy to be able to grasp all those things that lie ahead of us and that at all times we bring glory and honor to your name. We adore you Jesus. Amen and amen.

Brothers and sisters blessings. May the peace of God be with each of you. Greet each other.
