Summary: In Luke 19:28-34, Jesus sends two of his disciples to find a donkey for him to ride into Jerusalem. The donkey plays an essential role in messianic prophecy, including Genesis 49:9 and Zechariah 9:9. Samuel emphasizes that God often chooses the most valuable thing to us as a means for his miracles, and we must trust him and give him what he asks for, just as Moses gave God his rod and Mary gave God her body. The Lord seeks worshipers in spirit and truth and has implanted something in each of us that he can be glorified through. We must be willing to give the Lord our "donkey" in order for him to use us for his glory.

The speaker talks about how every person has something implanted in them by the Lord that can be used to glorify Him. He shares a personal experience of giving up his own plans to help someone in need, and how it was an opportunity for the Lord to use him to glorify Himself. He also talks about how the Lord asked Pastor Roberto to let go of his own plans to write a book and instead pastor a congregation, which led to the creation of the Lion of Judah Congregation. The speaker encourages the audience to trust the Lord and allow Him to ride on their lives to glorify Himself. He leads a prayer for the Lord to reveal His purpose for their lives and to use them for His glory.

Luke chapter 19 beginning with verse 28. Luke 19:28. I love hearing the sound of God's people skimming the word of God. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Having said this, the Lord went ahead, going up to Jerusalem, and it came to pass that when he was near Belfaguet and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples with this charge, saying, "Go to the village opposite, and when you enter it you will find a tethered colt on which no man has ever ridden, untie it and bring it, and if anyone asks you why you untie it, you will reply thus: "Because the Lord needs it." untied the donkey -he comments to somebody: Thank you my brother- when they untied the donkey its owners said: "Hey, why do you untie the donkey?" and they said "Because the Lord needs it" and they brought it to Jesus and having Throwing their cloaks on the donkey, they climbed Jesus on top.

Spirit of God I ask you in the name of Jesus to breathe on this word and revive it for the glory of your name.

Brothers, another name for this donkey in the word, other versions call it a donkey, they call it a burrito, but we are talking about this same animal and I know that in many of our countries donkeys are still used, donkeys are still used. It is still seen in our cities, in the villages that this is very common in Central and South America, for example, and in the Caribbean. And this humble animal plays, my brothers, an enormous role in messianic prophecy. Brothers, since before the Lord created the world, brothers, the Lord already had a plan. The Heavenly Father had a plan to glorify his son Jesus Christ and included in this plan to exalt and magnify the name of the Lord, included in this plan was this little donkey.

Already in advance the Lord knew centuries ago what He was going to do. He created this donkey for this purpose. For example, my brothers, let's go to Genesis chapter 49 beginning, let's say with verse 9. This text -Genesis Chapter 49 beginning with verse 9- is the first time that we see mention of the name of the lion of the tribe of Judah. It is the first time that the Lord introduces us to this phrase that now, by the way, is the name on which, the name that this congregation bears. Where does this name come from, this title, of the lion of the tribe of Judah? Lion cub, while Israel, Judah blessed each of his children from which peoples would come out, tribes of Judah would come out Jesus the Messiah. The anointed of the Lord was going to come out of life, he was going to come out of the seed of Judah, the son of Jacob, the son of Israel, and he prophetically declared about his son Judah: "Lion's cub, Judah." You came up from the prey, my son. He hung himself, he lay down like a lion, just like an old lion. Who will wake him up? The scepter of Judah shall not be removed, nor the legislator from between his feet, until Silord comes, and the peoples shall gather to him. Tying to the vine what? His colt and the vine the son of his donkey. He washed his dress in wine and his cloak in the blood of grapes. In other words, even in the first mention of the Lion of the tribe of Judah, Israel is prophesying about his son that this lion of the tribe of Judah would come riding on a donkey, on a colt. Then in the text that we know best, the text that we associate with the triumphal entry: Zacharias Chapter 9, Verse 9; which declares that in this messianic text about the triumphal entry, we see the key role of this donkey. And he declares that on this donkey the King of Kings would triumphantly enter the city of Jerusalem. He declares: "Rejoice greatly, Son of Zion, shout for joy daughter of Jerusalem. Behold your King and he will come to you just and savior, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt son of a donkey." Glory to God.

Isn't the word of God glorious and those great prophecies? There's just one problem, no one bothered to share these prophecies with the burrito owners. Nobody bothered to tell this messianic story, these prophecies to the owners of this animal and... my brothers, I'm sure the donkey's owners already had their purposes with him. The owners of the burrito already knew, they had an idea what they were going to do with this burrito. Who knows, maybe they tried to grind grain with it, as is still done in many countries.

Perhaps that is why they never set it up because they were reserving it for that, for agriculture. Maybe they wanted to use it to carry groceries or markets, especially during the Jewish festival that was just beginning on that day. Perhaps it was the busiest day in all of Jerusalem and they were borrowing his cargo truck for his business. And they had their purposes already, or maybe they had a burrito business. Maybe they had a workshop and this burrito represented their favorite among all of them. Or maybe the owners were parents, I don't know, and this humble donkey was the only gift, the only legacy they had for their little son and they were reserving it for his birthday. I don't know what sad story is behind this, but I do know this: these owners of this animal did not anticipate that someone would approach them that day and untie their property. And untie his animal with whom they had very legitimate purposes.

Brethren, can you blame these owners if they ask you why they untie you? Why untie the burrito? And now I have a question for you, my brother. Have you asked the Lord that from time to time? Have you had the opportunity to ask the Lord, Lord, what are you doing? Why did you untie my burrito? Why did you untie me?

Samuel, what are you talking about? What did you have for breakfast this morning? What are you talking about? What donkey? I live in Rocksberry. I can't even park my car, let alone a burrito! What are you talking about?

My brothers, how many times have we not been here before the presence of the Lord and declaring, Lord, what is mine is yours? Do you remember? Do you remember having told the Lord, Lord, everything that I am: soul, body, spirit, gifts, time, mind, heart, past, present, future, all of this is yours, Lord? Have we not declared him brothers?

You know, I have good news for you, the Lord takes us seriously. The Lord takes you seriously, the Lord has listened to you and for some, it is more brothers, I am not saying some, I would say for the vast majority, more than one I share this message from their God. The Lord tells you: "I have seen your heart" "I have seen that you have sought me, that you have sought my face, that you have asked that you glorify me in your life. You have asked that I use you, that the name of the Lord be exalted in the drama of your life, and may the Lord be glorified over you."

And I have good news for you, son, daughter, I have decided to bless you. The Lord tells you this morning: "I have seen your heart, I have heard your cry, I know you want me to use you, I know you want me to glorify myself over you and that is my desire." "I want to glorify myself in your life, I want the name of the Lord to be exalted in your life", the Lord has decided and declares it to you. I only need to use, to borrow, the only thing is that I only need your burrito; in order to glorify myself, I need your burrito. And when the Lord does it, brothers, most of the time he borrows it without explanation, most of the time he tells you "I need your burrito, I need it", you don't even bother to say why. Just as the disciples did not give any explanation to these owners, apart from the fact that it is what he said: "the Lord needs it". And at that moment that is the only explanation that the Lord is going to give you. He will tell you: "daughter, son, do you trust me, do you love me?" "Do you want me to use you then?"

Samuel unties the donkey, I need it, I'll take care of you and I'll take care of the donkey and in the long run everyone wins. But if you want me to glorify me in your life, we first have to start with untying your donkey. And brothers, you can trust this that the miracles of the Lord are like that. The Lord's miracles require a channel, when the Lord performs a miracle, when he uses a life, he requires a channel, he requires a medium, a cable to transmit his Glory and transmit his power and his miraculous virtue. He needs jars of water to turn into wine, my brothers.

Brothers, throughout the Bible he chooses a means for his miracles, and almost always that means is the most, and perhaps in some cases the only thing that you value, the most that you value, the only thing that you have, the most precious . Not the thing that you have in abundance, but the thing that you have in scarcity is what the Lord chooses to ride on and glorify Himself, isn't it?

Brothers, this message falls precisely on this topic that the Pastor has been elaborating about faith. Do you know why? This process is the process that God uses to make the heroes of the faith. All the heroes of the faith. Brothers, I give you this challenge: find someone outstanding in the word, a man who has survived history who has survived the centuries and appears in this text; and I can guarantee you that before the Lord chooses him, the Lord chooses him, separates him, speaks to him, before entering into the process of glorifying himself over the life of this man or this woman, the Lord has asked him for something of value. They have had to untie some burrito.

Moses, for example, the Lord tells him: "Moises, lend me that rod, I need it" For you, for me, what is a rod? a stick, a stake, what is it worth to us? If you are a shepherd of sheep in the middle of the desert, you are living in penury as Moses lived in those days, an 80-year-old man herding sheep in the desert, that rod is the only thing he has. It is what he uses to defend his sheep from the animals, it is what he uses to walk on stones, it is his companion. The Lord says to him: "You know what? Give it to me." He was not merely asking for a rod, He was asking for his retirement plan, He was asking for his way of defending himself, He was asking for his peace of mind, He was asking for the years he was missing, the few years he was missing on his face. from Earth that he very calmly was going to spend it with some sheep, anonymously in the desert of Median. The Lord tells him "give me that rod". And instead of feeding sheep, I will give you another town to feed. And with that rod, my anointing will be on it, I will ride on it and you will open the sea with it. But first give me that rod.

The widow of Zareta, the pastor has preached, both Pastor Omar and Pastor Roberto have preached about the widow of Zareta. And what did he ask her? Your bra. "Give me that last morsel of food that you have, I need it. I need it, and if you give it to me, you will see. I promise you that no one will forget you as long as the word is preached and your home will never go hungry again. I will glorify myself about it." "Maria, lend me your body" "Lend me your body, lend me your belly" See if for a woman there is something more precious, more intimate, closer. "Lend me your belly, I need it." The only thing you have is your body, your dignity, your dream of having a normal family and living a quiet, anonymous, ordinary life. I know that you were reserving that womb so that a normal family would be born from there in Nazareth. But I have other plans. You cannot imagine the plans I have for that womb and the being that will come out of there." One hundred percent God, one hundred percent man. But you have to lend me your womb. Lend me your donkey."

"Pedro, lend me your boat, I need it. Your plans to retire here in Caponahum fishing, fishing, lend me that boat and you will become a fisher of... men."

But it begins with a decision to give the Lord his donkey and brothers. What does the Lord ask of you? What is the Lord able to ask of you? Brothers, it can be your time, your health, as we have said, your profession, your dreams or simply your DREAM. Not only your dreams, but for some their dream.

Brothers, when the Lord seeks worshipers in spirit and truth, He sees what you have. First of all, brothers, I have good news for you, there is not a created being, there is not a being that is listening to this word, there is not a being sitting here that does not have something that the Lord has implanted in you, even before you were born, on which He cannot be glorified. There is something in you with a code that the Lord, the Lord implanted even before you were born, in your DNA. Lord, there is a chromosome that no doctor will ever be able to identify. I would call it the Glory chromosome. There the Lord implanted it from before you were born.

The Lord already had the plan from before He created the world, before you came out of your mother's womb the Lord knew how, in what way and what He would use to glorify Himself in your life. It may be something precious or it may be something you don't even realize the Lord would be able to glorify Himself over. It can be something small, for example, time.

This week, my brothers, the Lord asked me for a donkey. This week I had the opportunity, many of the few times, to untie myself, my job, be it in the Academic Resource Center or in Copani and get home and maybe 5 in the afternoon and I'm looking at that "boom, boom, boom, cha cha cha" "Glory to God", 5 pm "Praise the Lord" I was already glorifying the Lord: I´m all free! Maybe I can see Marina before she goes to bed, maybe I can have a quiet dinner at home with my wife. How's that for a thought? It would be beautiful, Amen. And of course, glorifying the Lord, I went down the hall to collect my things and I found... or they found me with a brother -people laughed- for whom I have been praying for months, for months and the brother, he was in an urgent state. And I was the only one who could attend to him at that time. And at the moment I saw that dinner burning on the stove, -people laughed- I saw that tranquility evaporate, I had a moment of death and I told him: "Give me 5 minutes, I'll attend to you, just give me 5 minutes and you have my full attention" Those 5 minutes were enough for me to hide in a place and tell the Lord: "You untied my donkey!!!". Laughter from audience. "Why did you untie it on me?" "Samuel, I need him for that, believe you. I created those hours for this. You had your legitimate purposes for that time, for those hours. But before I created the world, I already had a plan for the life of that man and I need your burrito to execute it."

And sometimes it's something even more serious. My brothers, this is an important week in the life of the León de Judá Congregation. This is the book of our Pastor Roberto: "In the land of the Pilgrims" by Dr. S. Miranda. Amen. -applause- I'm holding it!. It's real! I share this with the permission of our Pastor. This book believe it or not, the Pastor took 25 years to write it. Because? It is not that he has been writing this book for 25 years, but about 25 years ago Pastor Roberto was at Harvard preparing his PhD and brothers, the least thing he had in mind was this Congregation. And the least he had in mind was pastoring a congregation.

His idea was "I will become a man of letters, a teacher, a writer of books, a reader and I will dedicate myself to that" And in one the Lord approaches him and says: "Roberto, I have an idea. I am going to glorify myself , I'm going to glorify myself in your life. I'm going to glorify myself in the city of Boston. What's more, listen to this, I'm going to glorify myself throughout New England, thousands, maybe now through the internet, hundreds of Thousands will be reached by my glory and will be transformed. Entire continents will be reached through this plan that I have elaborated. But to elaborate this plan, and for me to glorify myself, Roberto, I need your donkey. That capacity that you have for communicate, that mind that you have, that education that I have given you. Those years of preparation. Maybe you will write your book or maybe not. Trust me. But I do tell you this: Lend me your donkey, let me untie your donkey and I'm going to glorify myself."

Brothers, thank God that the Pastor let the Lord untie his donkey, otherwise we would not be here today. Let's give glory to God for that. -applause-. We will not be here.

But this if I tell you, my brothers, the Lord, do not be afraid or afraid because the Lord is not going to struggle with you. And I believe that this is the most fearful of this thought. The Lord is not going to struggle with you. Brothers, do you think that these disciples within a week at the moment they saw bad and not good they disappeared? Do you think these disciples were going to argue with the owner, the owners come out with a shotgun, hey, what are you doing with my donkey? Do you think they were going to stay there? No way. Master knows we need another plan, maybe a cart, maybe we'll carry you. You all believe? No, and neither is the Lord going to struggle with you.

Brothers, you can choose. When the Lord asks you for the burrito and this is a transaction, I would say, daily. When the Lord asks you for the burrito you have to choose. You can tell the Lord, Lord, I'm sorry but I already have my plans for that burrito, I have my plans for that. I have my purposes for that. Do you know my theory brothers? There were many Moses, only one responded to the Lord and that is why we know who he is.

Abraham had a large family. We know about Abraham because he let the Lord untie his donkey. I believe brothers that there were a few Robertos Mirandas. Thank God that one said YES to the Lord. We don't know the others and the sad thing about this, they don't know him either. The other Robertos Miranda are living the life they chose, very calm but brothers, we are talking about the Glory of the Lord and the Glory of the Lord requires something much more than our normal response.

The ministry or the Glory of the Lord, brothers, requires as David said: "I will not give you a sacrifice, without any value", "It will cost you something" and this is where faith comes in, my brothers, that is where Faith comes in For this to happen in your life, you have to believe that if the Lord asks you for something, he asks for your time, he asks for your profession, he asks for your gifts, he asks for anything, he asks for your provision, he asks for your Health, your body asks you, your dream or your dreams, the Lord will glorify himself over that in some way. On that the Lord is going to mount and you know that or the Lord will return it to you more than as the word declares.

Peter said to him: "Lord, we have given you everything, we have surrendered everything, we are left with nothing, and now what?" The Lord tells him: "Don't worry, there is no one who has given me his treasure, his houses, his mother, his father, his children to whom I do not give what? How much? A hundred times more" With persecutions here on Earth and in Heaven eternal life. The Lord will pay you back in spades or you know what? maybe the Lord will give you something better. Something we can't imagine.

That burrito becomes the downpayment, that burrito becomes the first payment in an investment in the Kingdom and on top of that brothers comes everything that you have asked of the Lord, comes the dreams that you have had for your life, comes the salvation, grace, blessing, healing, deliverance. But you have to believe it before the thing. You have to believe it at the moment the Lord asks you to. Because throughout the purpose of God, is to ride on your life. Glorify yourself over your life, may the name of the Lord be exalted over your life. And you know my brothers? We are right now, here at this moment, sitting on a donkey. The Lion of Judah Congregation, what is this? This combination of physical plant, pastoral staff, technology, souls. Brothers, this congregation, this community is nothing less than a big donkey, a big donkey tied up waiting for the Lord to ride on it and do with it what He wants. Let him do with her what pleases him.

Father, behold your donkey. Ride on her. And like that, my brothers, if you want the Lord to glorify himself in your life, He will take you seriously. But from now on, brothers, let us trust, let us stand up and trust that He will glorify Himself. Silence.

I am going to ask that the musicians, speaking of faith, I am going to ask that the musicians, brothers, if you see me looking around here, it is because I am waiting for the Messiah to come riding on a donkey and he will come shortly, do not hurry and we will sing OH Sana. Brothers, let us pray together. Allow me the grail, I think. This prayer.... oh Amen. (Background music)

I assure you my brothers, the God who created you is not crazy. He's not crazy. There's not an ounce of madness in him. He knows what he's doing. There is no loss in Him. There is no loss in Him. There is no loss in Him (Background music) Every investment that there is in HIM, brothers, I assure you the Lord will glorify himself.

Take a moment and you have said it many times, say it now knowing the weight of what you are saying: "Come on Lord, Father first recognize the desire of our hearts. We want to be used by you" We want you to glorify yourself in our lives, we want that our lives carry your mark, we want it to be known from afar wow the Glory of the Lord has rested on that life, on that Church. Father I declare that without exception that is your purpose for every soul that is here, I declare that without exception every man, woman, child, every created being, was created with the purpose before you created the world, you created it Master so that your Lord may glorify himself over every life here. and Father now I ask that your Spirit point out Lord, enlighten Father, that part Lord that you are asking of us because you have something great in mind. This is the time Father, this is the time, Lord. This is the season, Father of your unleash your Glory on every life.

Lord, there is no year Lord that we do not give you, that you cannot glorify yourself over it -stronger background music- Lord the years Father that the locusts with which you devastated, Lord you will multiply it, no one will suffer loss, we declare it in the name of Jesus. No one suffers loss in your Kingdom, no one loses, Father, no one is a creditor of your Glory. Father then give us, because Lord Father take what we value, take Lord what you need so that your name may be glorified. Father, it would be an honor if you chose what we treasure. For you to enter triumphantly and for every eye to see you and every tongue to declare that Jesus is Lord. That is our desire Lord.

Do what you need to do, take what you need to take, Say what you need to say, just bring it to pass. Do it Father. For the glory of your name. Amen.

If you prayed this with faith, my brothers, the Lord is going to visit you, and when he visits you it is to glorify his name in you. Do not hurry. Give glory to the Lord, he has chosen you. Let him choose the little, he choose the foolish, he choose the of little value to glorify his name -applause- in the name of Jesus.
