the gift of wisdom

Summary: In First Corinthians, Chapter 12, the Apostle Paul talks about the diversity of gifts of the Holy Spirit and how they are all part of one concerted body, with Christ Jesus as the head. He points out that although there are many gifts, the spirit behind them is the same. Paul lists nine supernatural gifts that God has put into manifestation in his church, but he was not being exhaustive in the list. The word of wisdom is a gift that allows a person to understand the complexities of life in a supernatural way, find solutions to problems and have a deep understanding of the mysteries of human life and the things of God. Solomon is an example of a person who received an extremely powerful gift of wisdom in the Bible.

The Bible mentions two people who received a powerful gift of wisdom - Solomon and Daniel. Wisdom is a supernatural gift that allows a person to solve problems in life in a divinely given way. The gift of wisdom is needed in the church to navigate this time in history. The gift of knowledge is closely related to the gift of wisdom and has to do with specific matters, such as executing tasks. God gifts people with knowledge to fulfill specific tasks that he entrusts to them. The church needs both the gift of wisdom and the gift of knowledge to function effectively. We should pray for God to unleash these gifts in us and develop them through exercise, study, prayer, and fasting.

The author believes that God gifts people with specific abilities and talents, and when those gifts are recognized and dedicated to God, they can manifest in powerful and supernatural ways. He gives examples of individuals in history who were gifted in various areas, such as Bach in music and Besaleel and Oholiab in building. The author encourages his readers to ask for and receive the gift of knowledge and wisdom from God, which can be used to solve problems in various areas of life. He also emphasizes the importance of giving glory to God for any gifts or accomplishments.

Let's meditate on the word of the Lord for a little while. Look up First Corinthians, Chapter 12, we don't forget. We're talking about the gifts of the Holy Spirit, remember?

Last Sunday in the 9 o'clock service we talked about the diversity of the gifts, the complementarity of the gifts, the fact that God has made the body something complementary, the body of Jesus Christ. The Bible sees this community, this congregation as a body and one is a finger, another is a part of the brain, another is an ear, an ear, another is a mouth, another is a hand, but we are all part of one concerted body. whose head is who? Christ Jesus, right?

And so the Apostle Paul here in First Corinthians, Chapter 12 talks about that even though there are many gifts, the spirit is the same. First Corinthians 12:4 says:

“...Now there are diversities of gifts but the same spirit....”

We were talking about God giving us It has made a very varied community, with different nationalities, different socio-economic levels, and races and nationalities, but we are all part of a single being.

Now, in this passage in verse 5 Paul says: "... there are diversities of ministries..." from aconeon, ".... but the Lord is the same and there are diversities of operations -energematon-.... but God who does all things in all is the same....”

Look how interesting here in this verse 4 and 5 if you have noticed the drawing is drawn Trinity. The Trinity is there, look what it says:

“...diversity of gifts but who is the same? the spirit…” The spirit is there, isn't it? one of the three persons of the Trinity.

In verse 5 “...there are diversities of ministries but who is the same? The Lord, there he is, the Son. We have the spirit and the Son “.... and there are diversity of operations but who is the same? God, the Father. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are placed there in an almost implicit way. The Apostle Paul does not point out the Trinity in an open way but it is there because notice he is presenting the Lord, the Son, the Father, God, and the Holy Spirit as if they were on the same level. He does not draw a difference, he puts them all 3, he mentions them in the same way as if they were parallel to each other.

This is the kind of verse that led the church in its development of theology, the primary beliefs of the faith, to the inevitable conclusion that God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but He is one. . They are not 3 gods, it is only one.

Now, the mind cannot understand how... we can never explain, but the Bible in verses like this leaves us no other conclusion that in the mind of God these 3 people are the same thing, at the same level, with the same essence and manifest their capacity in different ways, but it is one God, it is one spirit that is working.

God has declared different abilities over his church. What the Bible calls gifts, or charismata, where the word charisma comes from. A person who has charisma is a person who has a gift, something different, right?

God has given his gifts, his gifts to the church so that the church can carry out the tasks that the church needs to execute, that God has delegated to it until Jesus Christ comes in his second coming. And God has given supernatural gifts, and he has also given gifts that are, we could call natural, but they all come from God, so ultimately they are all supernatural.

But the Bible points out many different gifts, but what the Apostle Paul wanted to point out is, remember that I told you that he wanted to correct the pagan mentality that tends to see different gods each specializing in one operation different. I said that many times we have seen that even in Christianity through Santeria there are different saints that each one does one thing and that paganism is getting into the church in a covert way.

Paul wanted to correct that pagan mentality that prevailed in Greece and in Rome in the world in which he moved and Christianity, and he wanted to say, know that although God has given different manifestations, different gifts and different ways of operating, the spirit that is behind those gifts is one, it is God, it is not the spirit of the tongue, the spirit of prophecy, or the spirit of healing, or the spirit of miracles. No, it is one spirit, the spirit of God that is manifesting itself in the church in different ways.

Paul has two interests in this Chapter 12, one interest is obviously supernatural, showing that supernatural gifts come from God and that they complement each other. But he also has a pastoral task that he wants to achieve and that is to silence the divisions that exist in the Corinthian church, to which he is writing this letter.

The Corinthian church was a very divided church, there were fights, there were tensions among the members. It seems that it was quite a large church, very prosperous and there were tensions and divisions. And he wrote this letter in part to promote harmony and promote unity in God's people.

You know that divisions and conflicts between brothers is nothing new, it was there in the first century, even in an anointed and Holy Spirit-filled church like the Corinthian church.

So, Paul meant, the gifts that God provides, supernatural gifts are complementary. The one who speaks in tongues, or the one that God uses in healing, neither of them is more important than the other, each one has its function, each one has its place. But I also wanted to say to the brothers, there are among you people of different nationalities. Corinth was an extremely diverse city, it was a commercial city, it was an intellectual city, very powerful, so people came from all over the world and I imagine that the Corinthian church reflected that diversity. And Paul wanted them to get along and accept each other in their different endowments and in their different characteristics.

That is, there were two purposes: to always promote unity and unity, he illustrates it in two ways: one through supernatural gifts and the other through the social diversity that exists among them, which should promote camaraderie and mutual acceptance.

But I want you to fix your gaze in these remaining minutes on that aspect of the supernatural gifts that God has provided to the church. Verse 8 says:

“....because to him is given by the spirit the word of wisdom, to others the word of knowledge, according to the same spirit,.... –gnose, where it comes from the word knowledge, word of knowledge or science according to the same spirit-... to another faith -pistis- by the same spirit, and to other gifts of healings by the same spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another another discernment of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, and to another interpretation of tongues, but all these things are done by one and the same spirit, distributing to each one in particular as he wants...."

Paul lists here 9 supernatural gifts that God has put into manifestation in his church, but let it be clear, brothers, that he was not being exhaustive in the list. Elsewhere he points to other gifts: the gift of service, for example, the gift of teaching, the gift of presiding and leading over a congregation, many different gifts. But in this case he points out 9 gifts that are of a very obviously supernatural nature, and those gifts God has released on his church for the edification of the people of God, for the strengthening of the church.

And I told you, brothers, to always remember that this is for today. God wants, through our faith, to release and manifest those gifts in our midst as well. Amen. And we have to be aware of that to cooperate, so to speak, with the Holy Spirit. I believe that we are living in a time in the life of the church when God wants to work in an obvious, supernatural way, as He did in the first century.

The modern world today needs to see the supernatural gifts of God. It is the only thing, I believe, that is going to break this chain of disbelief that binds modern scientific society. God always sends his gifts to... how to confront the unbelief of men, to show that God is the same, to endorse and support the authority of his church, the legitimacy, the authenticity of his church, to support the claims of Jesus Christ like sir.

Whenever God sends someone to speak in a prophetic way, we see it in Scripture, he gives him his gifts that are like credentials, they are like God's representation card that says this person goes in my name. He did it with Moses, for example, Moses asked God when he sent him to speak with Pharaoh, and how will I go there? And how will they believe that you have sent me? And God gave miraculous signs to Moses.

And he did it at Pentecost as well and he did it in the first century of the church and he has done it periodically through the centuries. There have been outbreaks of supernatural manifestations through the centuries. Right now I believe that in many parts of the world the gifts are turned off due to the incredulity of the church and because many times these things are not preached in the congregations, and many times there are also excesses and there are false manifestations of the gifts that discredit the gifts. gifts.

And unfortunately many times the people who supposedly move in the gifts sometimes do not have the integrity that is needed for the world to believe that they are legitimate. And all these things have lowered people's level of faith and that is why many times the gifts, if they manifest, are like a weak thread of God's power but not in the powerful way that God wants them to manifest.

And I believe that we have to launch ourselves to rescue these things in faith. A lot of times we don't jump in because we're afraid of failing, we're afraid of making a fool of ourselves, we're afraid that we'll do things and declare things and nothing will happen, or we just don't even know how to start the process. But I'm here these days talking about the anointing of the Holy Ghost and the filling of the Holy Ghost and the gifts of the Holy Ghost believing in faith that as we do that and start taking steps of faith, God is going to start flowing. Amen. And God is going to begin to do it, and he already does it from time to time in our midst. We see that God does heal, we see that God has freed people oppressed by the devil, we see that God has converted many of you and so many beautiful things, but we want more, right? we want that river of life to continue flowing and to deepen.

In Ezekiel 47, the river that comes out of the temple, that vision that the prophet Ezekiel saw, says that the prophet put his feet in and the water reached his ankles, and then he put his feet in and it reached knee length; then waist-deep, and finally it was a river that no one could cross except by swimming.

And so it happens, I believe that the church begins to take steps of faith and the river of God begins to rise, rise, rise and manifest itself with more and more power, but it must be exercised . The gifts are developed how? using them.

Now, for your information and your education, we're going to look at these gifts, as quickly as possible. I don't know if I'll have time to finish them all, but remember that unfortunately there isn't much in the Bible that makes it clear to us exactly how each of these gifts works. There is a lot of speculation among writers and analysts of Scripture and sometimes there is division and irreconcilable difference of opinion, really, in what each of these gifts means or how they are manifested.

But I think we have enough insight to be able to speculate intelligently enough what each of these gifts refers to. In verse 8 it says: "...for to him is given by the spirit, the word of wisdom...."

The word that is translated word is 'logos' in Greek and can be word, it can be a message, it can be a declaration of wisdom. Wisdom, the word 'sophia' in the Greek as well. Here Paul is saying that some people who are members of the body of Jesus Christ, of the church of Jesus Christ, whether it is a local church or the church in general, God gives them through his Holy Spirit a gift of wisdom. What is that gift of wisdom? No one knows for sure, but most analysts do agree that the word or the statement, or the message of wisdom is an ability to understand the complexities of life in a supernatural way. It is an ability to find solutions to problems, it is an ability to viscerally and not understand how to reach a solution to a problem. That can be manifested in a person who is a great counselor and who has a word of wisdom for life situations or it can be a person who knows something deep about the mysteries of human life in general and the things of God.

In other words, he is a person supernaturally gifted to understand the intricacies of human life or the relationship between God and man, or the movements of God and how those things manifest themselves in human life. .

In the Bible, which person do you remember receiving an extremely powerful gift of wisdom? Solomon. Solomon, says the word, that God gave him wisdom, he says, as no one had received either before him or after him.

And you remember a passage where that wisdom is manifested in Solomon. Do you remember when 2 women come to him? There are two mothers, there was a great famine it seems in a part of the city, or the country, and these two women had given birth practically at the same time and had very young babies. And it is a terrible story in her explanation, she says that the two reached an agreement, since there was so much hunger in the city, they reached a desperate solution, they reached an agreement, one day we are going to eat one of the babies and then we let's eat the other one. Terrible. Sometimes human despair reaches that point. And well, they did that, they made the deal and that's how it happened. They sacrificed one of the babies, ate it, and then it was the second's turn, and when the second's turn came, the other didn't want to go through with the deal. And so they came to Solomon for him to solve the problem for them, and Solomon said, well, the only way we're going to solve it is, we're going to cut the baby in half and what happened when that happened? The real mother said, no, she better keep the baby, let her keep the baby. Because? Because she loved him, and the other one was willing, it's okay, then, that they cut it in half, that neither of them has it. So what did Solomon say? Give it to the one who told her to keep it, why? Because mother's heart led her to want to preserve. The other, since it wasn't her mom, didn't care about the matter. And the people were surprised, because... look at the psychological intuition that Solomon had to have to discover how to resolve the dilemma, how to resolve the issue.

And so Solomon had wisdom to do many things. Unfortunately his wisdom failed him at the end of his life and little by little he became corrupted and unfortunately he came to some very sad things, but he was a man who had great wisdom to build, to prosper his nation, to do many things. The book of Ecclesiastes, for example, is supposed to have been written by Solomon, and it is a book of tremendous wisdom. You see there the wisdom about life, the wisdom about problems, about government, a deep philosophy, which speaks today... the book of Ecclesiastes, for me it is one of the wisest and most modern books that there is in all Scripture. It is a tremendously deep book and many of the proverbs were written by Solomon, proverbs about life, about human relationships, about wisdom, about behavior, about money, about prosperity, many things. Because? Because Solomon had a supernatural gift of wisdom.

Another person who was given wisdom in Scripture is Daniel. Daniel received a supernatural gift of wisdom, very strong as well. And you see there that Daniel receives revelations, Daniel was a great ruler. He was one of the most important rulers in all of Babylon and he was a man who in his behavior, in his way of walking in life, reflected great wisdom, a man of complete integrity. He got rid of many of the great problems and difficulties that many times damaged or stained the testimony of many other great men of God.

So, I believe that God, brothers, pours out through history the gift of wisdom on people in his town. I believe that these people often write important books about human behavior, Christian growth, how to solve problems of the soul and human relationships, and it is a supernatural gift, if we received it as a supernatural gift and cultivated it In that attitude, I believe that God would use it even more powerfully and would still give intuitions and that gift would run more freely among the people of God.

So we have to ask you, Lord, if you have given me a gift of wisdom, how does that gift manifest itself in an everyday way? God sometimes puts in brothers and sisters of the church that ability to advise, to navigate the difficulties and complexities of life, and how important is that gift today, there are so many young women who need advice from a wise woman. There are so many men who need someone to sponsor and mentor them. There are people....the church needs wisdom to navigate this time in history.

The Bible talks about the sons of (I don't remember now).... who could interpret the times and today I believe that the gift of wisdom is needed in the church to show the people church how to walk, how to resolve their situations. There are many Christian leaders today who are making terrible mistakes in public because I believe that there is not the gift of wisdom running with the authority that is needed to advise the church, to confront the church.

Paul had a powerful gift and wisdom and wrote great advice about life. In Paul almost all the gifts were moved, because it is interesting, the person of an apostolic level, when God chooses an Apostle I believe that in the Apostle all the gifts are moved at one time or another, God endows the Apostle, because the movement of the Apostle is a very diverse movement. So, the Apostles, generally at a given moment or another moment can manifest the different gifts. Paul had a great gift of wisdom, Jesus had a great gift of wisdom.

Do you remember when the Pharisees came to ask the Lord about whether taxes should be paid to Caesar? They wanted to test him and they put him in a trap, because if he said yes, that he had to pay taxes to the Roman Caesar, he would get in trouble with the Jews who hated the Romans and then he would look like a traitor to the country. And if he said no, that the money should not be paid to Caesar, then he looked like a rebel against Rome, and he was in trouble with Rome. So it was like a chess game, they put him in a position where if he moved here they would kill him, and if he moved there they would kill him too.

And then look at how God gave Jesus wisdom to get out of it. He said, give me a coin, whose coin is it? They said, of Caesar. Then, he said, well, if it belongs to Caesar, give Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and there he gave them an answer that said neither one thing nor the other, but he answered him as he had to answer him. Wisdom. That is the word of wisdom, it is the gift, it is that expression of the spirit of God that allows a person to receive the ability to solve problems in life in a divinely given way.

Listen, don't you think that this is a tremendously useful gift and that the church needs that gift, and that we have to ask the Lord to release that gift in us? I suspect that some of you here in this room have received the gift of wisdom and don't know it. But his life reflects that wisdom in a very humble and unspectacular way, but it's there.

Now, remember what I told you that to develop the gift you have to put it into practice, you have to launch yourself in faith, you have to say, Lord, I believe that you have given me that gift, because I feel the call to exercise that gift and I see that you bless me in the exercise of that gift, so I am going to start walking in the gift and I am going to believe by faith.

Now, in order to develop the gifts, you also have to read about that gift, feed it, use it in the name of the Lord, exercise it when possible, pray for God to unleash the gift more, fast so that the Lord increases the power and intensity of that gift. That's the way.

Paul tells Timothy, remember, I advise you to fan the gift of God that is in you. In other words, God puts the gift in an embryonic form, he puts it in an initial form but then it is up to us, through exercise, study, prayer, fasting, to develop the gift, add fuel so that the fire be bigger and bigger.

Let's take a moment right now and pray. Put yourself in prayer for a second and we are going to ask that God begin to manifest that gift to whoever he wants, because it says here that the spirit gives to whomever he wants, and we are going to ask the Lord if God has placed that gift in some of we are going to ask the Lord to confirm it and to begin to speak into our lives and for that gift to begin to manifest itself. And when you feel that God is speaking to you, God is going to put a strong impression on your spirit.

I believe that from now on God is going to be speaking to some of you through this word that I have given here, God is going to begin to speak to you and how is that gift of God manifested in you at the beginning? The gift will begin to speak to you, in a very subtle way you will begin to feel a restlessness in your spirit, no one will speak to you verbally. An angel is not going to come and tell you anything, but you are going to start feeling uneasy about the gift of wisdom and you are going to start wondering maybe God has put that gift of wisdom in me.

And then, by faith you are going to say, Lord, I receive that gift and I appropriate it, I believe that it comes from you and I ask you now that you continue to unleash it more and more and that you put it in an increasingly clear, deeper, more intense manifestation, and that you teach me how to develop my gift, and that you put me in places where I can exercise it, and that you put me in situations and before people to whom I can speak in the spirit and that when they have a need, or a problem, a difficulty I can give them a word of wisdom, a word of sound advice, a word of solution that even if nobody has the solution, you are going to give it to me for that person. I am going to speak in faith, believing that this comes from you.

So, Father, right now in the name of Jesus I declare that gift. You give it to whoever you want, Father, says the word and all we respectfully do is open a channel here, in the world of time and space, so that your gift descends sovereignly on whoever you want. Holy Spirit point to whoever you want and instill that gift in our congregation right now so that this gift begins to circulate and that we see, Lord, a sprout of the word of wisdom in the midst of this town so that there may be counsel, Lord, for your church.

We receive, to the extent that you want, and in the way that you want, that gift now, in the name of Jesus develop restlessness and capacity, Lord, so that that gift is manifested in this place. Those who work with young people, those who work with women or men, those who work in family counseling, those who work on the street with different social agencies, doctors, who sometimes have to resolve situations in an instant because there isn't much time to make a decision. Unleash the gift of wisdom, Father, and we believe it, we receive it, Lord, we receive it. Hallelujah! In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Glory to God.

How many believe that God is going to do that? Amen. Brothers, I believe in those gifts and look, I am going to finish with one more. It says here, ".... word of wisdom, to another word of knowledge, word of knowledge according to the same spirit..."

In the original Greek the word that is translated into English science is gnoseos , where the word knowledge or gnosis comes from, and it is translated 'science', but it could very well be the word for knowledge.

Ahra, again no one knows for sure what that gift of knowledge or science means. There are not many more references in the Bible about it, but it is believed, and I trust that yes, there are enough references out there to give us an idea of what the gift of knowledge is, or the gift of science.

And by the way, notice that Paul puts them together, one behind the other. Because? Because those two gifts are associated with each other. Remember that this is not an absolutely technologically rigid and fixed thing. The Apostle Paul was speaking in the spirit and gave just 9 samples of how God supernaturally enables his church to solve the different challenges that the church encounters. But in his mind, inspired by the Holy Spirit, the gift of wisdom and the gift of knowledge or science are closely related, and I believe so.

Furthermore, I believe that many times a person can receive those two gifts and they can function in the person in cooperation and collaboration with each other. Now what's the difference? We could spend an entire sermon just talking about this but I'm going to be real tight and real fast here.

I believe that wisdom, again referring to problems of life, the great truths of God and man, of time and space, is the wisdom that God can give to a Christian philosopher, anointed by the Holy Spirit. That is wisdom, it is practical knowledge of life.

The gift of science or knowledge is a more specific gift that has to do with matters, they can be matters of..... I'll give you a better illustration. Let's go back, when the sanctuary was going to be built, not the sanctuary, the tabernacle in the wilderness. God wanted a tabernacle built for the Israelites to worship in the wilderness, and he instructed Moses how the tabernacle was to be built. He gave him the design of the tabernacle and in that design everything was included, from metallic, gold, silver, burnished and sculpted objects, there were curtains and fabrics that had to be made for the tabernacle, skins that had to be treated and tanned as well, there were wood, there were different objects that had to be made as goldsmiths. There were a number of different things to build the tabernacle and God, the Bible says, who inspired two men, Oholiab and Besaleel, did not advise him to give that name to any of his sons, Aholiab and Besaleel, and says that These men were given a supernatural ability to make designs and to execute all kinds of works, jewelry, metal, wood, and cloth. And those divinely endowed men executed the design that God gave Moses for the making of the tabernacle.

And guess what? In other words, look there, I believe that God gave these men a gift of science, or a gift of knowledge so that they could execute those tasks specifically. I also believe that through the centuries the church of Jesus Christ has faced different situations where it needs knowledge to carry out the tasks that God entrusts to it.

In the times, for example, when the church ruled Europe and was a political entity, governmental and other things, I believe that God gifted people to be statesmen and to write political treatises and other things to enlighten the church in specific, sociological, administrative ways.

I think the church has always needed administrators, strategic thinkers, people who know about finance, about construction, about technology, about building systems and developing ministries to advance the church. All these things, the church needs that, so God supernaturally endows people. We're not talking about just being smart in that area.

Now, what happens is that you remember that a person can be born with the call of God in their life and many times that call the person does not even know that God has placed it in them, however that person He has the gift and then that gift manifests itself in natural forms, but he does not yet have the powerful anointing of God that can unleash the manifestation on a supernatural level.

So there may be people out there who, for example, are engineers, are financiers, are technical or have an administrative gift, and they are using it because God put that gift in them, but they have not entered into supernatural use They have not entered into the recognition that God wants more through that gift. God wants to manifest it in a way... put it on steroids and develop the gift in a way, you know, completely huge, powerful. And that is what comes through the Holy Spirit and the recognition of the gift as coming from God. And when the person then dedicates that gift to God and that gift begins to flow in a supernatural way, for the time being, that gift rises up like a dinosaur and roars and wreaks havoc and does beautiful things because now it's working in full anointing. Holy Spirit.

Imagine a Michael Jackson filled with the Holy Spirit, I don't even want to see that.... ok, I believe that a person was gifted and what..... hopefully and that person recognized and entered into the use of his gift for the glory of God and the advancement of the Kingdom of God, it would be terrible. I believe that a person like Juan Sebastián Bach, the greatest composer in all of history, was a man that God endowed with a gift of science, a word of science and knowledge. Johann Sebastian Bach wrote some of the most sublime musical works in the entire history of music and still today, much of modern jazz music and more cerebral music is based on the harmonies God gave to Johann Sebastian Bach. , a man, a dedicated Christian who dedicated all his music to the glory of Jesus Christ, all the music of Juan Sebastian Bach. And when you hear Bach's music, you know that there's something weird going on between those notes. That is the anointing of God, the word of science, of knowledge. He had an ability to develop harmonies and he produced classic masterpieces like You and I Dream Something. He just did them spontaneously.

Look, with this I end, a homemade illustration. When we started working on this building here, our church did not have finances, it did not have the capacity, we got into shirts of eleven yards in this building. I jumped in like an innocent lamb not knowing what I was getting myself into. Sincerely. Our church had no money. I am ashamed to say it, at one point I thought that the elaboration of this building was going to count us 75,000 dollars. Brothers, not even the stairs cost 75,000 dollars because when the architects got involved and began to break and devise and all that, when he came to see, this was crazy. We went like lambs to the slaughter here.

And I prayed to the Lord to send the spirit of Besaleel and Oholiab upon me and upon those in this congregation, remembering those two men that God endowed with the ability to build the tabernacle. And I prayed to the Lord specifically, Father, send that gift in our midst for the making of this building. And you know what? I believe that God gave that gift to Mario Ulloa and also gave it to Roberto Naranjo who came from Chile, brought him from Chile to here, with a supposedly different mission but he stayed here.

And brothers, let me tell you something, architects with master's and doctoral degrees have had to learn from these men, solutions that have occurred to them, they had not. And for the glory of the Lord, God has given me a certain ability to understand certain construction things that I never knew how to drive a nail, brothers, when this started, and God has given me some administrative wisdom to solve things and to dialogue with these men and God has brought other people and God has allowed us to develop these buildings at fractions of the cost and to have a Hispanic church that with a modest budget, have facilities like this and acquire this space. This building with its parking lot costs almost half of what a studio next door to us costs today. God did the work at the right time in the right way at a key location in the city of Boston. I believe that that is the gift of science, it is the gift of knowledge that God gives, and God has given it in many other ways here through time.

God gives that gift to musicians when they move in the anointing of the Holy Spirit and are filled with the Holy Spirit and believe and move in that gift, God releases wisdom, God releases knowledge. understands? Besaleel and Oholiab had that gift, Neemías had that gift, to whom God gave the gift to build and build the walls. He gave Neemías the capacity for design and organization and administration. He gave it to José, he gave José the ability to manage. Wherever José arrived they put him in charge, they put him in jail and when he came to see he was already running the whole jail by himself. And then they took him out and led Egypt in its campaign of financial recovery when there was the great famine.

God gives those gifts, God still gives them today so that his church can do things. How could we have built this building or renovate it all and find the design skills and all the different gifts, if it hadn't been God working sovereignly and moving that in a way? And the best is yet to come, I tell you, brothers.

I believe that many of the things that are done here are because God has given a leadership that is supernaturally gifted and the glory belongs to the Lord, just as he gives the gifts, so he takes them away if the people she grows too big and gets too stubborn, God immediately takes it away from her. The glory belongs only to him, that belongs to no one.

But God gives it because he wants his church to prosper, and if another church could have moved in that gift there would be more locations built in different parts of the city. God wants to do that. God wants to give wisdom and God wants to give science, knowledge to his people. But do you know why we don't receive? Because we don't ask, because we don't understand that God wants to move in that supernatural way.

Remember, the gifts are abilities on steroids, that's what the gifts are. Do you know what steroids are? Steroids are those things that give people strong muscles, athletes today illegally use them, but it is the idea of putting power and giving a supernatural capacity to the exercise of knowledge.

Gift of wisdom and gift of knowledge or science. Let's pray for a moment because God also has that gift for God's people. That gift is in young people here, it is in people who have a specific capacity, a specific endowment, for a specific work. God can give that gift and you can supernaturally use that gift in administration, in finances, to make money so that the church of Jesus Christ advances, to understand in the area of politics, economics, literature, philosophy. God can give you a gift of knowledge so that things occur to you that do not occur naturally. God can give you an intuitive ability. These gifts of science and knowledge are manifested in an intuitive way.

Now, we feed them through study, reading, prayer, fasting, and exercise, so that the gifts develop. If you feel that God has put that gift in you and he will know if he gives it to you or not, that is his business, but perhaps you feel in your heart, perhaps God has given me a gift of knowledge.

I boldly tell you, I believe that God has given me a bit of that gift of knowledge that has allowed me to study in different places without having to pay a penny, has lifted me out of poverty and put me in places of high knowledge and he has allowed me to use that gift to bless his church and I say it without any pride, but I say it because many times I don't speak things and I think I'm being humble but I'm not giving him glory to God and I give it to you in the name of the Lord right now.

And also when you confess, more comes. So in the name of the Lord I lay aside all false humility right now and I thank God for it, that he has made it so, and I give glory to him. God gives knowledge, God gives wisdom to his church and you can receive it too and maybe you have it there, so in the name of Jesus, Father, I release the gift of knowledge, the gift of science upon my brothers, gift to to manage, a gift for conceiving new projects, a gift for finding solutions to the problems of this community that is closed, well closed, a gift for those who work in hospitals, in social agencies, in schools, for housewives who have problem how to make money from their homes, for men who need to make solutions for their apartments and houses, for people who need wisdom, how to solve problems with their children, their marriages.

Father, I ask for a spirit of wisdom and knowledge in the name of Jesus. I loose it on your people. Lord, we receive, we receive the gift that can solve governmental problems, international relations problems, problems for war, hunger, poverty, violence, the ties that exist in our cities and in governments, problems to solve the ties of the mind and emotions, for psychology, counseling, philosophy, sociology, government, literature, arts, law, judicial systems, Lord, in the name of Jesus your church asks for that gift. In the name of Jesus, Lord here are some that you have called to exercise that gift at different levels, because your anointing is different according to the measure of faith that each one has received that gift will manifest, but we believe Lord, By preaching about this gift of knowledge and science and wisdom, Holy Spirit I tell you publicly, we believe that you are the same yesterday, today, forever. And we receive those gifts now.

Father, may this church move supernaturally and if possible, Lord, may that gift also reach other churches right now, other people, because you are powerful so that the anointing that is here in this May I also reach other churches, other communities, other parts of New England, other ethnic groups as well that are worshiping you at this time. Send, Lord, begin to move supernaturally over this region.

We receive that anointing, we receive it. Say, I receive the grace of God in me, I receive the operation of the power of God in me. Thank my Lord. Thank you, Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We adore you, we bless you.

How many believe that God is the same yesterday, today and forever? Amen. Give the Lord a big round of applause. Glory to the Lord. Begin to fan the fire of the gift of God that is in you. Glory in the name of the Lord. We adore you.
