In these last Sundays we have been preaching a series of sermons about the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the filling of the Holy Spirit and today we have an evangelical preacher, Dina SantamarĂa, who for me and through what I have heard of her, exemplifies that life filled with the Holy Spirit, that life that flows in the power of God.
And that's why I think it's wise and it's the Lord's time that we have her. She came here to preach at a women's congress this weekend and has been visiting various churches. She has never been here in our congregation so it is a great privilege for us to have her this afternoon, give her a big round of applause of welcome.
She (thank you sister) Sister SantamarĂa has been traveling to many parts of the world, Latin America and other countries, certainly here in the United States and has been a great blessing to many congregations and many lives that have listened to her testimony, they have heard an anointed word of God and she is a woman who in her own life can speak of the transforming and preserving power of the Holy Spirit.
And I have only heard a few things about what God has done in her but I remember something about how God rescued her in her very childhood. And this morning we were praying for a baby girl who had been burned in a very horrific way in a terrible accident and as you know we bring people from Latin America to get medical help here. When there are cases like this our church has been able to have a ministry, we prayed for that little girl so that God would preserve her and change her destiny, we present her to the Lord. And we believe in the God who changes destiny as the destiny of the preacher Dina SantamarĂa changed her, and today she is a woman who serves the Lord.
I believe that that little girl, Gabrielita was called, God is going to do something great in her life too. Because we have a mighty God, how many believe that this afternoon? Amen.
So let's flow in that preaching about the baptism of the Holy Spirit, let's prepare our hearts to receive the word of God this afternoon, open your mind, open your soul right now and ask the Lord that you be able to receive that seed that God is going to put in your life. Thank you very much, it's a pleasure to be with you this morning, this late morning, but I think we're in the spirit.
This morning I was thinking, what can I preach to you? and I bring a message in Acts 1:5 and 8 and it is about what the Holy Spirit is for and what is established through it, what the kingdom of God means.
And we are going to learn a lot on this day because seeing the word of the Lord, it is the mouth of God open to each one of us and we declare that you are going to receive a word that will change and transform you.
We are here today, not by chance but because God has a purpose for our lives. I have been ministering from Atlanta, Laredo, Nuevo Laredo, Laredo, San Antonio. Well, this year it has also been a tour of South America, next month I'm going to Spain, to Europe. And there are so many places to preach, time is needed, I fill out the campaigns a year in advance and the truth is that the year is always short. I am going to preach until December 18, when I retire to get into business because I have stores in Venezuela, where I live, and God has given me 2 companies but I never dedicate time to them other than my time is for the Lord, to preach the gospel.
But God has given me people, he has given me a partner, he has given me managers in each store and that has allowed me to keep going. And someone says; It's good Dina that you have business because when the offering is crooked you get hold of the business. And I say: no, no, no, it's the other way around, I started a business because God pays so well that there comes a time when you say: do I put it in the bank and they give me nothing or better I invest it and reinvest it, I invest and reinvest it? And he offered and tithed, and the more he offered and tithed, the more money he had.
So I made up my mind, do I give to the poor? tomorrow they are hungry, we can distribute all the money to the poor and we stay the same as them and tomorrow they are hungry again because it is bread for today and hunger for tomorrow. Do we give him the fish or teach him to fish? So I made a decision, I am going to do business to give people employment and they will have food every month, they are going to produce and they are not going to reach out to be beggars but to produce. And that led me to set up the stores.
And God gave me the right staff, because I say to those who are preachers, they never get into business if God doesn't send them, because if God didn't have my right people, they would steal my shoes … that is, the stockings without taking off my shoes, I couldn't stick out my tongue because they would steal it too. Because I leave everything in their hands.
I have a secretary who leaves you signed checks with no amount and no name, why? Because when I'm not there, how are payments made? how are things done? But God has given me those correct people who don't steal even five from you and are also afraid. I told one of my employees: steal from me, I'm not even going to give a damn, she told me: no, with that language you have... you make a statement and my hands dry up. And I have had people who have robbed me but when they have robbed me all the employees are scared because they do worse than a thieving cat, they carry sticks up under their tongues.
And so God protects you and God takes care of your things and if they steal you I don't cry, because even for a thief it's enough.
Jesus really had a thief who was with him and Jesus knew that he was stealing and even so he gave him the bag of treasure, because there are even thieves in the kingdom of God.
And you... when God is with you, the devil can steal your finances but he leaves God a millionaire and you become a millionaire again, so there is no problem.
We are in the hands of God and we have victory, yes, we must be a good administrator of the things of God. I have a computerized cash register, I do an inventory every 15 days, and also for the… when I'm in the hotels, I go online and check all my accounts, what was spent on? I don't… nothing is saved until it has my signature. When I arrive in Venezuela for three days, I say: to see the sales of each store, day by day, checks, vouchers and control because it has also given us the authority and wisdom to know how to manage and manage the things of the kingdom.
And sometimes we evangelicals are very confident and we say: well, the saint's anointing fixes it for me, no!! We also need to have control over our life, discipline, order, disorder brings robbery, we need to do that. So we have to prepare ourselves with a business mentality, we are tired of workers, God wants to give us a government mentality, a business mentality, a mentality to stop earning wages from slaves, to be our own owners of our things.
A sister told me: sister, pray for me because I have an employer who has a restaurant and I am the cook and people like how I cook and he has not raised my salary for years, he told me ask God with me to increase it for me. And I say to him: are you stupid? is she dazed? and he tells me why? I tell him: since you are going to pray for an increase in your salary, why don't you pray for God to give you your own restaurant and instead of making the boss rich who just comes to see how you cook, you with your own hands is going to become a millionaire? I am going to pray that God removes that slave spirit from her, gives her a business mentality and I prayed.
The year I returned, she had two restaurants, and all the clients who were with the boss came with her because she was the one who cooked. So God wants to change that mentality for us, and it will be transformed through the word.
Over there... we repeat and say: the truth will set us free, but I want to tell you that the truth does not free you by knowing it, the truth sets you free when you believe that truth.
Someone said the truth that you know and that you believe will set you free, the truth that you know and that you believe will set you free, because the truth… the church knows that God enriches but it is in debt, it knows that God heals and walks sick, knows that God gives victory and walks defeated, knows that God gives joy and sometimes has the face of lemon that you have to put fire and anointing in them so that... I say sometimes it seems that they were baptized in cement and not in water, and yet the Bible says that the joy that salvation produces…so we need to really believe the truths that are in the Bible, not only know them but believe them and on this day God is going to give us truths and if you believe them, You can be free, amen.
We are going to open the word of the Lord in Acts, chapter 1, verse 5 onwards, where is the word?… Acts chapter 1, verse 5… when you are ready say amen.
And we will begin to read Acts, chapter 1, verse 5, it says as follows... say to the person next to you: buy yourself a Bible, buy yourself a Bible so you can read it.
You know that I always say this and people always laugh, because there is no place in the world or in the church where someone goes to church without a Bible.
When we go together, my partner tells me: ah, you carry a Bible so I don't, so I'm bad, I sit down to eat, I tell her: I have a plate so you don't eat because you don't have dish; no, she says, I take my own plate to eat, you don't eat from mine, no, it's not enough for me. So everyone has their Bible so that they know that it is the word of the Lord.
What if we open a paquin and you think it's the Bible, it's not true, it's the word of the Lord.
Acts 1:5 says the following way: “…for John indeed baptized with water but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit after not many days, therefore those who were assembled asked him saying : Lord, will you restore the kingdom to Israel at this time? and he answered them, "...it's not up to you to know the times or the occasions..." in other words, he was more diplomatic but he wanted to tell them: what does it matter to you when this is going to be, but he told them diplomatically saying: "... you do not have to know the times or the occasions that the Father arranged by his own will but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria and to the last part of the land…”
They said: now if you are going to restore the kingdom to Israel? He said you care, go up to the upper room.
We are going to explain to you today what happened after the upper room and how the kingdom was established and how the Roman empire fell without using a weapon other than the weapons of God's anointing and spirit.
Incline your face with me and say: yes, Lord Jesus, today I receive this word with joy and joy, now I bind all arguments that are raised against it and I declare that I will understand the word, that it will change me, I it will affirm, comfort and reveal me. I am fertile soil and this seed will bear fruit, there will be nothing or no one to take it from me in the name of Jesus, love and love.
I always say something, when we come to the house of the Lord, we do not come to receive what we want but what God knows we need. A sister said one day, why don't you preach to us about the antichrist and the great tribulation?, and I said to her: why? If you're already in the great tribulation, why do you want it to scare you more than you are? Another brother said, show me the antichrist and I told him: are you going to stay with him? He told me: no, and then why do you want to find out what is going to happen to you?
It's good to know, but you have to prepare yourself more than for the future, prepare for the present because what you do in the present touches the future, preparing to go to heaven is more important to living on earth Because in heaven when you enter you will have the mind of Christ and you will no longer have the human mind but this is where we have the human mind that has to be renewed by the word to get to know what God has for us.
Heaven is beautiful, I visited it, I went to it three times. God took me to paradise, it's spectacular. What's more, those of us who went up there don't want to return and we cry to die, but not because we are disappointed but because we believe that the only thing that takes us up faster is death.
Therefore, those of us who know heaven, nobody wants to return from there. However, the sky is wonderful but the earth is also wonderful when you walk with Jesus. I think that I began eternity in 1978. I don't expect to die to enter eternity, I am already in eternity. I don't expect to die to find victory, I'm already in victory. I don't expect to die so that Jesus comes to see me, and he has visited me in person 11 times, until he told me: I'm not coming back, believe nothing else.
But there is a time when you will stop seeing so much to live by faith, but there is a time when God brings revelation into your life. I have heard his audible voice, he has visited me, he took me to heaven and he makes you experience many things because of the type of ministry he is going to give you and because of the test that is going to arise. And all the experiences accumulated in those days strengthen you when the test comes.
There are people who may never go to heaven again the day they die, however, by faith, they know that paradise exists and others know that it exists, because we have seen it from our own experience. However, neither you are less nor I am greater but God has given each of you experiences, why can't I say that we are more spiritual? Or that you are less spiritual? No, because sometimes... I know a man who is very spoiled, terribly spoiled, what's more, he has a lot of lovers and one day he was in the place of a witch; the girlfriend, the lover, took him to where the witch and the witch gave him... the witch gravitated and made this guy gravitate, tremendous witchcraft and while he was gravitating said to him like this: you will be a great servant of Satan and you will do... you have the talent to serve the devil. And he gave a prophecy from Satan to this man and said: but you are going to die, take care because you are going to die, but you are going to have life after that. And he told her about what was going to happen to him.
A week they gave him 7 shots and he went to the hospital and literally died, the doctors said: completely dead and he died. But I know that man, and do you know what he was telling me? that when he died, instead of going to hell he went to heaven. One says how? if he is into witchcraft, they have lovers… how did he go to heaven? And he sees the third heaven and describes it to me as I know it, I know he is not lying to me and he said: you know? I went to heaven and saw Christ face to face, and I saw my father and the father never went to an evangelical church but in his ignorance he sought God in his own way, do you understand? And he says: I saw my father in paradise and he is younger than when he died and he is with a… his smile is tremendous, his countenance of joy and Jesus told me: your father is here in this place, I have plans to your life and you will know me and you will love me and you will be mine forever.
And he saw Christ and I know a pastor who died and went to hell (how did he get the black eye?) And he's also a friend of mine. And the Lord took him out of hell and told him: I am going to give you an opportunity to align yourself with my will because during these years you have wasted your time, the word has been preached for money or whatever and people have converted but you are not saved, and God said to him: but I will give you an opportunity so that your last days are of victory and you sanctify yourself before me and be free.
Then one is left with tremendous confusion, that is why the Bible says that salvation is from Jehovah and that no one has the right to say who is saved and who is condemned, that is why I laugh when preachers say : in my campaign 5000 were converted… only God knows who is really converted. I stopped saying that so many converted in my campaign. Why? Because only God really knows who is going to finish the race that he started, only God knows who is really going to be sanctified.
How many people have come to my campaign who didn't come down the aisle, raise their hands and affirm themselves? And after the years I come back they are already pastor's wives or they are pastoring or they are in the ministry and how many people who raised their hands never came back and are rolling around with Satan in style?
So one wonders who really has the right to know the other person's heart? There are brothers who say: sister, if God reveals something about me, call me to collect and I pay for the call, as if…. have a crystal ball to know what God has for you.
God has given us the prophetic anointing and if God reveals it to us, hallelujah, but if the revelation does not come, we do not really have, simply by calling ourselves prophets, the obligation to know what God has for you, the Prophets are wrong, Eli told Ana, drunk, drink the wine and get out of the house... and he was a prophet and he was a man who was in the house of the Lord.
Therefore, we each have to seek our own relationship with God and our intimacy with the Lord, it is true that God uses prophets, God uses evangelists, God uses pastors, but each one of you has the obligation to seek your own relationship with God and you cannot continue to live with the faith of the anointed and live with the prophetic word of a prophet because the prophet leaves. Look, I know so many prophets in this nation who speak every false prophecy and tell lies that one really even in the flesh knows that they are lying, yes, you don't have to be spiritual to know that they are telling a lie.
Then the church does not have to be afraid, it has to mature in that area to enter the dimension of the kingdom and really recognize that you have triumphant entry into the house of the Lord and that the veil of the temple is broken and that you can go to where daddy is and talk to him and sit in front of him and ask for whatever you want because you are a beloved son.
You have freedom because the veil is torn, you... oh sister Dina, God hears you more, no, God is not deaf to you and he listens to me more because with me he has a harmony that really there is no interference and he hears me. In other words, as a prophet said one day, he gave a prophecy and told a sister that's what the Lord says, you're going to marry the one who is there; He said: no, I am married brother, and do you know what the prophet said so as not to be ashamed? He said like this: brothers keep quiet I have interference, I'm hearing strange; I mean, the satellite was kind of crooked and I wasn't listening.
So it's tremendous, so if you simply walk... a sister tells me the prophet told me that I have to go to India to preach and I don't feel a bit sorry for India, I don't even want to preach to the Indian across the street, much less to India. And I told him: don't you feel the call? He told me: no, then don't be silly, don't go; but the thing is that the prophet told me… then let her go, if she loves India so much. Because it is when God gives you a word through someone there has to be confirmation in your spirit, maybe at the moment it will make you angry like when God told me, go to Mexico in time of war in El Salvador and The Lord told me: go to Mexico and I said, why to Mexico? If Mexico has peace, it doesn't need me. My country is at war, here blood runs like rivers and I am brave and I am going to go where no man wants to go, I am going to go to the mountains and I am going to dance the zapateado in the war but I am going to preach the gospel. I said: Lord, I am going to establish your glory in my nation and I am going to see that the spring of the spirit is born in my country and you can ride with me to the mountain anywhere. And I showed God that I could go where no one went and during those months of ministries I went where no one went to preach the gospel and I told the Lord: don't send me to Mexico and I remember that there was a wheel of people crying and he said: oh, Mexico, the prophets of the church were crying, oh, Mexico, and he said: these crazy people, who care about Mexico. And I opposed them there on my knees saying: don't listen to them oh El Salvador, oh my land, oh my orphan children, oh Lord the pain of my nation and they said: oh Mexico, pray for Mexico, cry out... I He said: I care and he said oh and El Salvador and I said: look at my country.
And I was countering but you know what? A prophet comes out, he puts me on top of me and says: thus says the Lord: get up and go to the Mexican Republic, ayyy to Mexico, I say if it makes me angry that they pray for Mexico, now it makes me even more angry to go preach there. In other words, not because I didn't like Mexicans but because for me, Mexico had peace in 1980 and my country shed blood like a river, therefore I said: these Salvadorans crying for a country that has no war, while our children orphans are in jails because there is no place to put them because of so many orphans there are, they are crying for a nation that is not going through what El Salvador is going through and they are Salvadorans and can't they cry for their own land? Is not Jerusalem first and then Judea?
And I was very angry but when the Lord told me to get up and go to the Mexican Republic, if I am angry to pray for them now I am not going to go preach to them, who comes to El Salvador to preach? and I was so upset with God I said you can't hear this, she is a false prophet, I am going to pray for my country and I am going to preach in my Jerusalem. I'm going to start with my Jerusalem.
And I was there fighting with God, a woman came to my house, she told me: God gave me the address of your house, the house number, the street, how to turn to the right, everything He gave it and I come to tell you that this is what the Lord says: if you don't go to the Mexican Republic... you look like a guerrilla and they're going to confuse you with her and they're going to kill you. Either you leave this nation to preach to Mexico or you will die within this nation. I said: ah yes for good anyone, I'll run away. I said: well, it's better to go to love Mexico than to be underground so I don't love myself... the sky is very beautiful but it can wait.
So I really hit the road, look at the month that I was in Mexico they killed a woman just like me. He looked so much like me and God is acting in a tremendous way and using me in the Mexican Republic.
But there, you understand, first I'm angry but in the end God confirms the word and then I end up so in love with the Mexicans that when I left Mexico, I lasted two and a half years. I preached every day, to get homework, I said 25 days I preach up to twice a day so that God leaves me alone and takes me out of this nation, it was the other way around. God left me two and a half years in Mexico, I came to love him Mexican when I left, I left with a fever, in pain, that is, I cried for the Mexican.
I entered Nicaragua not wanting Nicaragua but wanting Mexico and I cried so much because Mexico, Mexico, Mexico… what's more, they didn't give me another visa and I spent a year and a half illegally in Mexico. So, when I left, I couldn't return to Mexico for three years, God said: I'm going to tie her up because otherwise she'll return faster than light.
At the age of three, that deep love for Mexicans had disappeared from me, so I could go to Panama and other nations. When I go to Nicaragua, I enter crying for the Mexicans, when I leave Nicaragua, I leave screaming for the Nicaraguans, I had already fallen in love with them. Then crying for the Costa Ricans until one day I knelt down and said: God, if I am the woman of nations, take away this apprehension that grabs people and the love it causes me, because otherwise I'm going to die of a heart attack faster How light, therefore, give me a kingdom heart, a heart of nations, a heart where I no longer cling to a country but the whole world is my home and my land. And God changed my heart, now I'm dying of laughter, people are left crying and I say: bye, see you, see you later. Because now I am the citizen of the whole world.
And God takes control of your emotions so that you can do his will. It does not matter that the will does not look like yours and you are angry when God gives it to you, in the end you end up loving what he wants you to love and his will ends up being your will, his desire ends up being your desire , and you fall in love with what God has prepared for you. What before you thought was not good now you live with it, you long for it and you love it because God enables you to fulfill it.
When the anointing of God is going to come on your life, you have to understand that there is a reason for God to fill you. There are people who believe that the anointing is nothing more than to speak in tongues and become famous because it makes the sick and healthy and what pride. Well, when people... when people heal, one says: he healed with me, when he doesn't heal one says: God didn't want to heal him, did he?
If you pray for someone who has cancer and heals, you say: God used me to heal him from cancer, if he died it is said: oh, poor thing, he died, it was God's will. But if you were part of the healing process, you cringe and say: I have the gift of healing, God used me, but if you don't use it, you remain silent, right? Because so-and-so died, so you say: many of us prayed for him, that is, he didn't die because I prayed but many of us did.
And then there are really people who believe that the anointing is to become famous, other people say the anointing gives a ticket and it is true, when you have an anointing, God prospers you financially.
I had a friend in Panama who told me: no, I work a month and I really work so much, I work more than you and you earn three times more than me. I kind of grab a Bible, hit four screams and become a millionaire. When God gave me my mother's house in the area of the rich, I remember I lived in a 120-year-old house made of adobe and made of adobe, and God gave me a beautiful house and gave me a beautiful house. I asked the Lord like this: I want the house and he gave it to me.
I remember that when the brothers came to help me take my things to the other house and I paid a believer to paint my new house, the believer was so envy and he began to paint me the house and he brushed me instead of painting it well because of the rage that gave him, and he did like this look: wow brush comes, brush goes, and I said to the other, and he thought he didn't hear it: this woman with a little bible hits I scream four and look, they won the lottery, they're already buying a house, look where they live, all starving and now she's a preacher and look, it's already been bought... I'm going to grab the Bible, scream four times to see if I can get out a house.
And the man started very angry, angry because... and hallelujah, I heard it, it made me so angry that I told him: look, look brother, I am paying you double what the wicked charged me and Do you know why I did it? Because I know he's hungry, he's in need and the pastor told me to give him a little job because he doesn't even have enough to eat and I'm giving him twice as many good people and look how he's painting my house with a clean brush, I think I'm I paint better… and if I am paying, you have the duty to paint me correctly because my money is worth it and I am not asking you for anything for free and I am paying you. And I grabbed and put myself on... and if you don't want to paint well, leave me now, and he tells me: oh, no sister, the Lord rebuke the devil, may the Lord rebuke the tongue and envy you that you have on top because if God He gave me this, I have robbed no one and I have defrauded no one and I have asked no one, when I want money I know where to ask and it is the altar of God and not the human beings who are more palmed than me, so forget that I am going to be asking and I told him: you are very wrong, the Lord prospers and blesses those who believe in his name, those who honor him will be honored and those who are faithful with their goods will prosper, it's that simple.
