Summary: In this sermon, the pastor discusses the importance of maintaining the anointing of the Holy Spirit in one's life. He compares the lives of King Saul and King David, noting that Saul lost the anointing because he did not submit his character to God and maintain the anointing, while David was able to maintain it. The pastor emphasizes the importance of studying the word of God and submitting one's life to the Lord in order to maintain the anointing, as well as being sober and vigilant to not give the devil any foothold. He encourages the congregation to use symbols in their lives to manifest the internal life of God and to appropriate things that remind them of the covenants they have made with God.

The sermon is based on First Samuel, chapter 16, where God sends Samuel to anoint David as the chosen one. The pastor emphasizes that God operates through processes that he has determined, and God sticks to these processes. He also explains that the anointing of the Holy Spirit is not just a matter of receiving Jesus Christ, but it is a special moment that can be received individually or in community. The pastor also stresses the importance of holiness and obedience to the Lord. He explains that the anointing of God can be for better or for worse, depending on the quality of one's heart. The pastor also talks about the Holy Spirit as the great equalizer, who takes the weak and fills them with his anointing, enabling them to compete effectively for the tasks of life. Finally, he encourages young people to humble themselves and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The anointing of God is a reserve of power that can be managed in times of need. When someone receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit, a potentiality is released in them for all of God's purposes in their life. However, it is up to the individual to use the anointing of God to unleash the endowments of power and gifts that God has for their life. This process may take time and effort, but God will conspire to lead the individual to their destiny. When the Spirit of God is upon someone, all circumstances align to lead them to their destiny if they stay in divine purposes. The story of David and Goliath shows that with the power of the Holy Spirit, one can take down giants in their life. Believing in the power of the Holy Spirit can lead to great miracles in one's life.

The speaker believes in great miracles from God and encourages listeners to receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit in their lives. They emphasize the importance of hunger and thirst for the power of the Holy Spirit and taking the word of God seriously. The speaker prays for God to anoint and fill listeners with his Holy Spirit and ends with a call to live victorious lives in the Lord.

Today you are going to receive a bonus, say glory to God. Because I'm going to preach to you a sermon that I'm probably not going to preach at the 12 service, but all geared towards the same theme of the baptism of the Holy Spirit and I hope to enrich your life through this particular meditation.

You will remember that last Sunday I told you about a biblical character, King Saul, remember? Or have they already forgotten? King Saul and we saw there the life of a man from the old testament, how he embodies the baptism of the Holy Spirit, right? And from that experience of King Saul before he became king, we drew some patterns about the baptism of the Holy Spirit and said for example that Saul did not turn out to be a perfect man after the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

And we saw there the prophetic move of God associated with the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

We also saw the praise associated with the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

We also saw that on many occasions, and I believe that always at one moment or another in the life of the person baptized in the Holy Spirit, there are external manifestations. In the case of Saul it was very dramatic, there was prophecy, there were dramatic moments of the manifestation of the presence of God.

We saw there the importance of symbols also in the person... in the life of the person filled with the Holy Spirit, "...Samuel poured out a vial of oil and kissed Saul as a sign of approval of his new state spiritual…” and we talked about the importance of the people of God, in connection with that, being a people who flow in symbols, when we raise our hands, when we dance, when we kneel, when we speak in a prophetic and victorious tone. we are using symbols that manifest the internal life of God, we externalize through those symbols and those prophetic declarations what God has done in our lives and I believe that wherever the power of the Holy Spirit is there is symbolism too, which is important .

I encouraged you to use symbols in your life as well and appropriate things that remind you of the covenants that God has made in your life, of the covenants that you have made with God in your life as well. . All these things we saw in the life of Saul.

And now, and remember what I told you, that it was interesting to choose a passage from the Old Testament to show you that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is not something that occurred to God on the day of Pentecost but that God has always used the anointing of his spirit to endow all those people that he has called for a special purpose.

There is always an encounter somehow, we see that in the Bible over and over again, when it says God is going to assign a task to someone supernatural, there is always an encounter with the spirit of God, there is always a endowment of power in some way.

We see that in the lives of the Judges. Each one of the Judges that God used throughout the history of Israel, there was always a call from those Judges and there was a crisis encounter with the power of the spirit of God and then that Holy Spirit anointed judge would flow into the ministry that God had commanded him.

And so we see that in the old testament it was actually only a very select group of people, kings, priests, prophets who were anointed with the Holy Spirit but the difference is that in the new testament, when pour out Pentecost on the disciples, a new era opened where every son of God, every daughter of God, can now receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, amen.

And you can receive the endowment of power you need to carry out the tasks of the Christian life: to evangelize the world, to live a life that pleases the Lord, to have victory over the bondages of life. All these things we see. The Christian filled with the Holy Spirit is never a victim brothers, in the name of Jesus he is always a winner. Before, in all these things, Paul says we are what? More than conquerors, that is the fundamental attitude of the son of God.

We've seen all these things, now let's compare. We saw that in the life of Saul, but we are going to see that something similar happens in the life of David as well. Saul fails, Saul fails miserably and God withdraws his spirit from him and says: I am going to look for someone according to my heart and then determines that another king will arise in Saul's place. How interesting, what happened to Saul? Why did you lose the anointing of God? Why did it end so tragically if you had the baptism of the Holy Spirit, if you had the filling of the Spirit of God? Why brothers? Because when God blesses you, when God fills you with his spirit, remember that now you have to maintain that anointing, you are responsible for keeping what God has given you, God does not do things automatically, I believe that in the Pentecostal people with which we identify ourselves, there is a lot of simplicity, a lot of innocence about how the dynamics of the Holy Spirit moves and we believe that: well, God already baptized me with his spirit and a myth is created then that nothing needs to be done anymore more, I am already a superman, a superwoman, and now I simply flow in the Holy Spirit and a whole mythology is created around that.

What I see in the word is that once God fills you with his spirit, now you are responsible for growing that anointing of the spirit within you. You have to inform that anointing of God with the study of the word of God and you also have to submit your life to the Lord so that God changes your temperament, your character, your attitudes, your bad habits, your mental and emotional ties and you go sanctifying, how many can say amen to that?

See? because many people say: oh, I have the baptism of the Holy Spirit but you look at them and they are spiritual weaklings, brothers. They have problems in their family life, they are pulling their bows with everyone at work and at church all the time, a continuous fight with others, there are failures in their financial lives, in all areas and one says: well, what? where is the anointing then? I have seen many prophetic people that it is almost like a rule, a law, that many times prophetic people are also very weak in character. Unfortunately, it's almost like one thing goes with the other, it doesn't have to be like that, why? Because many times we only depend on the supposed anointing and we forget that we have to fight, we also have to work hard with the anointing.

The anointing is simply an endowment of power but then you have to read the word, you have to submit your life to the Lord, you have to submit your character because otherwise the anointing gradually decays and when you come Let's see, you're like Samson, who doesn't realize that the power of God has already left you and what remains are only the muscles of a weight lifter, but the supernatural power of God is not there.

What happened to Samson? That same thing happened to him, Samson received an endowment of God's power from his mother's womb, God called him to be a judge, liberator of God's people. And every time the spirit of the Lord came upon Samson... Samson received tremendous power and did terrible things, heroic acts with the supernatural power of God, but Samson was careless, he did not keep his moral life... and the devil sent him a Delilah, you remember? Because many times when you enter into the anointing of God, the devil will receive a little note from a little devil out there: we inform you that so-and-so has just received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, so send two or three spies there so that… two agents secrets so that they destroy it immediately, right?

And you receive attention then from the kingdom of hell, why? Because since you're just eating the bench, the devil doesn't care, he loves it when people come there to sleep on the seats and think they're doing a great thing as long as it doesn't threaten his kingdom, right? But if someone puts on the strength of the Holy Spirit, he immediately sends an e-mail to the department of hell where they take care of these things so that they strengthen their attack against that person who is now filled with the Holy Spirit and who represents a threat to the world. God's Kingdom.

So if you don't take care of yourself, disaster comes, it comes... what happened to Solomon? Solomon, the wisest man on earth, says that no one, before or after, would receive the wisdom that Solomon received and one wonders why Solomon ended up the way he did? In idolatry, putting idolatrous women into your life, why? Because little by little he allowed... precisely God also sent him his love for women, he gradually destroyed it, he brought women from all parts of the earth, women with... idolaters, probably demon-possessed, he had relations with them, had children with them and what happened? That great wisdom that God was giving him or that God had given him was declining little by little, little by little until he ended up a cynical man, destroyed, it was not overnight, it was little by little.

See? The anointing of God does not guarantee that you will go... the anointing of God by itself, let's clarify, does not guarantee that you will simply now walk like a little lamb in the prairie without problems, on the contrary, challenges come to your life, it comes More responsibility. To whom much is given, much is required, says the word of the Lord.

So, if you want to… if you want to flow in the spirit, you have to maintain your hygiene every day. The apostle Paul writes to Timothy and says: I advise you to fan the gift of God that is in you, because God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and self-control.

We have to flow in God's anointing every day. Every day we have to go again because otherwise it gradually declines and we end up as if we didn't have it, let's not neglect this. That was what happened to SaĂşl I believe.

Saul was making decisions, Saul did not give his character to God to work on, see? When the anointing of God comes on your life, the anointing is only for a part of the Christian life, it is for the aggressive operations of the Christian life. But if you do not have your character formed by the word of God, your habits, your conduct, your human relationships, all this. If you do not submit your character to the Lord so that he can deal with it, look, you better stay at home because it is of no use to you, you are deceiving yourself. The devil can enter through 17 cracks in your life, and one of them is the lack of character dealt with by God.

So, to my brothers who love the anointing of God, I say let's make sure to protect that anointing and not give the devil any foothold, any place for the devil as the apostle Paul says, right? Let's not give place to the devil because he gets in, he grabs a little piece of paint on the wall with his fingernail, from there he grabs to get into the life of the believer. So we have to be sober and vigilant, right?

Okay, long introduction, I think we can pray and go home with this introduction but look here just a couple of details about David. We are going to do a case study, a study of a case in the life of David. Let's compare with the life of Saul.

Go to first... First Samuel, chapter 16, I should have told you this, don't be scared I'm going to tie things up, don't worry, the introduction is long but in the end we fixed everything.

First Samuel, chapter 16 and there we see the call of Samuel, again... Saul has failed, he is still king but God is displeased with him and he tells the prophet Samuel: now I want him to anoint someone else because I'm going to put him in Saul's place as king of my people… 16, then God calls Samuel to go and anoint David… verse 2,

“.... Jehovah replied, 'Take with you a heifer from the herd and say: I have come to offer a sacrifice to Jehovah…', further down he says: “…and you will anoint me when I tell you…”

First of Samuel, yes, chapter 16 brothers, verse 2, verse 2... or my Bible is a different Bible, they changed it this morning... first Samuel, chapter 16... ask the Lord to give you wisdom. Doesn't anyone have First Samuel, chapter 16? And is there true? verse 2, yes exactly yes yes yes, read it there, take a good look at it, be nimble, let your eyes run. I know it's early in the morning and I don't want to strain your brain too much but if you search there you will find it, chapter 2, second part, “…Jehovah answered take a calf from the herd and you will anoint me the one I tell you …”.

You will anoint me when I tell you..., look how interesting. I sometimes wonder why God had to go through all this work of sending Samuel... to anoint him...? Do you know something? if we... if we learn to navigate the Bible, I encourage you brothers, be scholars of the word because we will know the passages and we can then quickly go to a passage and navigate it with all... because we will know the complete narrative and now simply go and correct some things , let's be agile in the use of the word of the Lord, very important, I put that as a challenge there...

I wonder why God has to send Samuel to anoint David? Why couldn't God just sovereignly rain down his spirit on David? Doesn't that seem a little cheaper than sending Samuel to such an address to anoint the one he has chosen... and here is a very important lesson. This may seem very small but it is very important, God operates through processes that he has determined. God sticks to the processes that he has determined, he put Samuel as a prophet in Israel. Samuel represents the divine authority in Israel, God has delegated to Samuel the pastorate over his nation in terms of the flow of his spirit. Samuel binds and looses on earth and God above honors.

So God has determined brothers, a process to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, to receive the anointing of God, there is a cooperation that occurs between earth and heaven and I believe that many people say: well, I already received Jesus Christ and I now have everything I need... it is not what I see in the Bible, I have seen in the Bible time and time again that to receive a special anointing from God, a special moment is also needed , it takes a moment in which the person receives something, it takes a moment in which there is an encounter with the promise of God and many times that encounter will come through the church of Jesus Christ praying, laying hands, interceding so that a person receives the anointing of the Holy Spirit although, as I have said, it does not always have to be so.

Many times the baptism of the Holy Spirit is going to be received by yourself at home, kneeling there and asking for the Lord's anointing on your life, and then begin to flow in faith, that what God He has promised that it will be given, but many times the anointing of the Holy Spirit is received in community, in a service at the end of the service many times, other times as we did last Sunday, we invite the brothers, especially in the 12 o'clock service , there was a glorious time, we invited the brothers to come forward and there was a precious flow of God there and several people received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and there is an obedience that must be given, God operates many times through men and through through human processes and that is why one has to obey the Lord and obey what God says.

Many people say: I don't need to do this, I don't need to do that, it's what…it's as God says and it's like…. Through the processes that God has established, anointed people can help you enter into a greater fullness of the flow of the Holy Spirit.

Then God sends Samuel to anoint the one he has chosen, the one he has determined and Samuel did as Jehovah told him, verse 4, “…and as soon as he arrived at Bethlehem, the The elders of the city came out to meet him with fear and said: Is your coming peaceful?...”.

Imagine, this man was not just any old thing, Samuel, listen to me, I hope the day comes when people have that respect for the church, right? And let him say: a pastor came here, we don't know if he's going to upset the whole community or what's going to happen, but the power of God has arrived.

The church... when the power of God flows in the life of the church, brothers, it's not just passing hands to people and telling them God loves you, sometimes God's judgment also comes, you know? The church is prophetic and Samuel was not a man just like that, he was a man who also knew how to unleash judgment and that is why people were afraid: the prophet of God arrived, what will happen here? We do not know when the anointing of God flows over the life of God's people, I believe it is for judgment and blessing.

There are a lot of people who play games with the spirit of God, a lot of people come to church and they come for reasons completely out of the ordinary, you know? They come with impure hearts, they come with bad intentions, they come with undue attitudes and you have to be careful because where the presence of God is, the spirit of God also discerns and judgment can come into your life, damage can come into your life.

Why does the apostle Paul tell us not to partake of the sacrament in an unworthy way? And he says that is why many of you are sick and some are even sleeping, meaning in a very elegant way, the word would be "they are dead", because when you receive something that is a blessing... that is supposed to be the presence of God in a special way and you ingest it and you are not correctly oriented, that instead of being a blessing for you is a curse for you.

The presence of the spirit of God in a place, in impure hearts not adequately prepared to be in the presence of God, can also cause destruction, because the presence of God is sinister, it cannot be believed. It can bless but it can also cut you if you are not careful.

So that is why the importance of holiness, do not ask God to give you his anointing unless you are also willing to adhere to the commandments of the Lord, because the anointing of God, as Samuel's anointing can be for better or for worse, for harm or for a blessing in your life, depending on how your heart is, you know? Can you say amen to what I'm saying brothers?

Because the church of Jesus Christ…everyone today wants the church to be just a hand to people, accept everything and receive everything and a meek kitten. The church that is filled with the Holy Spirit is a lion that roars and can also claw at you and destroy you and it is important…

I ask the Lord: Lord, that the fear of God spreads among your people and that we have reverence for you in how we walk before you, that is why they ask him, is your coming peaceful or is it your coming to bring judgments?

Then Samuel arrives later... I won't be there because we have to be running through different routes... the passage is very long... Samuel arrives at David's father's house, whose name is Jesse and he gives himself a lot of drama there right? Jesse brings 7 of his sons before Samuel, one by one, and God says: no, that's not it; no, that's not it either. And it is interesting, the first son that they bring to Samuel is Yasab… what is his name? Eliab sorry, Eliab and this guy was 64, headstrong everywhere, very attractive, a worthy representative of the nation of Israel, right? And God tells him: look, throw me that one aside because that's not it. You look… the man, look at what is on the outside, but I look at the heart of the person.

There is something very important here, look, I think the word establishes how that drama, almost as a descendant, they bring him the biggest, the most promising and he says that's not it, then perhaps they brought him one that they brought him one that was a little smaller but just as impressive... either and they went down, because brothers, the anointing of God is not a matter of pedigree, it is not a matter of appearance, it is not a matter of intellect, it is not a matter of money. God anoints whom he wants and is above all according to the heart that is, God honors the heart, God looks at the quality of your heart.

David was a man who, despite all his mistakes, had a heart for God, loved the Lord dearly, was excessively aware of the glory of God, and when God sees and discerns such a heart, God falls in love with that person and blesses them.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is what equalizes all people. When a person has the baptism of the Holy Spirit, he is as powerful as the most powerful on earth.

There was a series years ago on television, it was called “the equalizer” I never saw it but I heard about that series, but the equalizer was a man, an expert in weapons, a very strong detective and he was one of those guys, you know? That nobody messes with him and his thing was to go where there were people who were being victimized by people more powerful than them and he provided that force that equalized the situation, that's why he was called the equalizer. He was the one who compensated for the victim's weakness and brought her to a level where she could fight against her…would victimizers be the word?

And so the Holy Spirit is the great equalizer. He takes the weak person and fills him with his anointing and then enables him to compete effectively for the tasks of life. It doesn't matter that she is weak, that she is ignorant, that she is old, the important thing is that the Holy Spirit is in her and God can then do whatever work is necessary, say amen.

So when these 7 very strong men pass by and no one appears for God to say: this is my anointed, Samuel asks him: is there not another one around? And then Isaí says: oh yes man, of course it is but I assure you that's not it, there's David, Davicito over there, he's taking care of the sheep, that's not it, I'm sure it won't be that one… but hey, If you tell me to bring him, that's fine, call David, and there David appears, an attractive young man but he was not that man of war, well trained, very promising, obviously worthy of leading the entire nation, and God tells him : that's it, anoint me and then, look at the drama that takes place, it says verse 12, chapter 16:12, do you have it? Say amen… do you have it? Okay.

“…So he sent for him and brought him in and he was blond, fair-eyed and good-looking, then Jehovah said: get up and anoint him because this is it. And Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers…”

I imagine, everyone is now saying: wow, because I wasn't the one who… and look who chooses, this tadpole here… but that was it. “......He anointed him in the midst of his brothers and from that day (this is very revealing) he says from that day on, what happened? The spirit of the Lord came upon David.....," you see?

When the Holy Spirit comes upon your life, when you receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, when you open your life to God's anointing, you say this is mine.

And I see young people here brothers, I tell the young people: you are not too cool not to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, ok? Young people, put your batteries together please, I beg you in the name of the Lord, receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit too, humble yourself. Humble yourself young person, you need the Holy Spirit, you especially need it, I am sure all the challenges you're having in your life, you need the baptism of the Holy Spirit,

David needed the anointing of the Holy Spirit, says that from that day on the spirit of the Lord came upon David. That is what happens in the life of a person who receives the anointing of the Holy Spirit, it is like that at the moment they connect you a line of communication with the Holy Spirit, from then on you already have access and God has access to your life. in a new and different way.

Now you... that line you can, it's like a line of credit, you can manage with it in times of need, in times of challenges and burdens in your life, God can send an additional portion of power for what you have to do. If you have to witness to someone at work and you say: Lord, fill me with your spirit, give me word, the anointing of God comes that way. If you are assigned to teach a class on discipleship and you are not an expert in the Bible, but you say in the name of the Lord I can do it and you ask the Lord: Father, anoint me and take a couple of days of extra fasting and you begin to study in the name of the Lord, the anointing of God now comes upon you so that you give that class better than anyone else, because the Lord is the one who gives wisdom and who gives the anointing. If in your work they give you a position beyond your capabilities, you say: Lord, fill me with the spirit, I have what I need, I believe that... and in the name of Jesus I am not going to undertake and you believe and work hard and you strive and the anointing of God flows within you and you receive the portion you need, the equalizer right? The equalizer to make sure you hit the finish line. God's anointing is so that you can do everything that you normally couldn't do by your own strength. say amen

That's it, see? From then on, when you receive that initial anointing from God, an aspect of your life is uncovered and now the anointing that you need to carry out the tasks can flow and enter. It says that from that day on the spirit of the Lord came upon David, the call of God was activated in his life.

But notice something, God anoints him to be king, as he anoints us to be preachers of his word, to live holy lives, to receive God's word, to have power over our personal limitations and our character flaws, to improve our marriages, to get good grades in college, to learn English, to have a better life financially and in other ways, for all of these things is God's anointing.

Now when you receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, what happens is that a potentiality is released in you, a reserve of power is opened within you for all the purposes that God has for your life. But then a process begins to get you where God wants to take you. What was David anointed for? To be king over Israel.

Did you know that David did not become king over Israel until not many years had passed? Some people believe that it was about 15 years before David became anointed as king.

But notice that the anointing was received at that moment and from then on the power of God was on David, what happened? That a process simply began now where God wanted to take it, when you receive the filling of the Holy Spirit, God is going to fall on you and what is going to happen is that... then the spirit of God is going to settle on your life as the spirit was resting on the earth before it was formed. Do you remember that the Bible says that the spirit of the Lord rested on the earth and the earth was without form and void? Do you remember that passage? That happens when the anointing of God falls on a person, it is like the cloud of God rests on your life, and God begins to order your world as he began to order the earth so that it would produce light and seas and land and animals and birds and fish and everything will be ordered, everything will be separated.

When the Holy Spirit comes over a life then a special treatment of God begins in the life of that individual, overnight it is not that that person now has everything they need, that they fall like they send you a package of all those things, no!!!. Now begins a process of unleashing the endowments of power, the gifts that God has for your life, the destiny that God has, but now it is up to you to use the anointing of God that is in you so that the power and destiny of God in your life begins to flow and manifest in different ways. Can you say amen to that?

Sometimes it will be a race of many years, and part of it is going to be up to you and part is going to be up to God, it is not an overnight thing, it requires a lot of effort.

What's going on here? David is anointed and look how interesting, immediately… and look at something else here, look how interesting, look at the difference in experience between David and Saul. Saul, his baptism of the Holy Spirit is accompanied by prophetic acts, Samuel tells him look, start walking and you will meet some prophets, in front of them there will be a tambourine, flute, psaltery and when you approach them you will prophesy and that's how it happens It is a very dramatic event with Saúl.

What about David? there is no indication here that anything dramatic or supernatural happened. Samuel anointed him and simply says that from then on the spirit of Jehovah came upon David. It does not say that David began to prophesy or speak in tongues or jump or fall to the ground or that angels came to support David's ministry, it simply said that from then on the spirit of God came upon David.

Many times the baptism of the Holy Spirit will be accompanied by tears, with tongues, with falls to the ground, with strong emotions, but it will not always be like that. I have told you about that, according to your character, according to your temperament, according to God's purpose at that moment, your experience in the baptism of the Holy Spirit could be somewhat calmer, more peaceful and what you have to do is believe that you have received it and then move in that faith and with the passage of time God will unleash what he wants in your life. It may be later, that I will have that experience of your speaking in tongues, although I believe that anyone can speak in tongues by faith, if you remove the bondage of the mind and just flow into it, but many people have too much of a mind. strong that traps them and does not allow them to flow immediately.

But in the case of David, there is no such thing, simply an experience where he is baptized with the Holy Spirit and from that moment on the company of God is activated in his life, to lead him to the purposes that God has

I'm finishing with this, but look what happens, that from that moment the circumstances in David's life begin to conspire to take him to his position as king. What's happening? Look in verse 14, in verse 13 he receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit, in verse 14 he now changes the film camera and presents us with the chamber of Saul who is now demon-possessed, God sends a spirit to afflict him. And then Saul asks that someone be sent to touch him, to calm him down.

Today science could say that he went crazy, that he had a neurosis... then it says in verse 16:

“.....say then, our Lord to your deer that are in front of you, that they look for someone who knows how to play the harp, so that when the evil spirit from God is upon you... and I am not going to go into that because it is very long there... he will play with his hand and have relief.....”

They told Saul, send for someone who is a good musician so that when you are there, in your neurosis and in your spiritual affliction; the adoration, the stillness of the harp and that calms your heart and you can normalize yourself.

And who do you think that person is? David, says verse 18, then:

“…one of the servants answered saying: behold, I have seen a son of Jesse of Bethlehem who knows how to play and is brave and vigorous and a man of war , prudent in his words and handsome and the Lord is with him…”

It's been a while perhaps but now notice how circumstances begin to conspire to put David on the path to kingship, it's like all of a sudden Now they invite him... David may be in Roxbury or somewhere around here and it's like... Let's say Samuel Caraballo that for now, President Bush, Lord forbid, an evil spirit attacks him, and someone says: do you know what? ? I know a young man there in Roxbury-Massachusetts who plays the piano very well and at the moment they call him from the White House to go play for poor President Bush there to calm him down and at the moment he jumps from a dimension of anonymity to the very center of power. and then it begins.

See? See what God is like, brothers… many times God will pray in your life when the spirit of God is upon you, it is in your life, God will conspire to lead you to what he wants, that is why it is so important that we Let us always ask the Lord to pour out his power over our lives, to pour out his anointing.

Because many times brothers, I depend rather on God to put me where there are, where the blessings are, there are many things that I will not be able to do by myself, but I believe that If the spirit of God is with me, God is going to give me grace, God is going to open opportunities for me, God is going to bless me, God is going to bring positive circumstances to my life.

People filled with the Holy Spirit always believe that something good is going to happen around the corner, that tomorrow is going to be better because the grace of God is on their life, that God is going to take you... yes God has… when God unleashes his power over your life, God's purposes are fulfilled, it may take 5, 10 years but you are flowing in the grace and blessing of God and you have to believe that, you have to believe that God is conspiring to take you to where you have to be, if God has called you to a ministry, you have to believe that this ministry is going to flourish, it is going to flow, it is going to be blessed because God is upon me, the Spirit of Lord is upon me.

If you believe that God has called you to be successful in an academic career, in a professional career, you say: I have the spirit of the Lord and somehow I am going to achieve maximum success, I I am going to reach that position of blessing because the spirit of the Lord is upon me.

If there is a task to be done somewhere, you undertake it in the name of the Lord because the spirit of the Lord is upon you. If your church has any need, you say: I am going to flow in it, I am going to give, I am going to participate, I am going to provide because the spirit of the Lord is upon me and because there is more where that came from, the Lord … that is the aggressive attitude of the man, of the woman of God filled with the Holy Spirit.

How many believe that God can do that in your life? It doesn't matter that you are the most insignificant on earth, if the spirit of the Lord is upon you, God will take you where you have to go.

Believe that brother, because the rest of David's life is a demonstration of how once God's anointing comes upon an individual, all circumstances align to lead him to his destiny. If that person stays in divine purposes.

Read later what happens when Goliath arrives and I wish we had more time today to discuss what happens because God… when you have the power of the Holy Spirit in your life, God enables you to take down giants.

That moment… that meeting between David… I'm going to ask the musicians to come over here quickly, David's meeting with Goliath, there is not a more dramatic scene in all the writing of a situation of inequality; a giant of almost 8 feet in size and a little boy there, inexperienced in the use of weapons with a wave and 5 smooth stones, that was all, but one was filled with the Holy Spirit and another only had his human strength. Which of the two do you think won the battle? What is your Goliath? What is your giant? What is your situation in your life? What is the bondage that you are facing in your life? What is the difficulty? What is the lack in your life? What is the emptiness in your life? What is the desire of your heart? What do you want most in your life?

Fill yourself with the Holy Spirit, receive the filling of the Holy Spirit and then walk like a soldier in war, believing that the Lord is going to give you according to the desires of your heart, if they are aligned according to God's will. No matter what it is… Gabrielita is going to become a woman filled with the Holy Spirit and a successful woman in the name of Jesus because the spirit of God has been placed upon her and so we prophesy it in the name of Jesus Christ,

Someday perhaps I will be an old man and a young lady will approach me over there, do you remember a pastor there in Roxbury that you prayed…?and that will be Gabriela, in the name of the Lord.

I believe in great miracles from God because it doesn't matter how the beginning is, the important thing is that the Lord is in the rest of the way to reach a person to the filling of the spirit of God and to the purposes of God in your life, we believe it brothers, stand up in the name of Jesus.

And let this word not fall on deaf ears my brother, my sister, in the name of the Lord, in the name of Jesus, right now activate the word, activate the promise because I am not simply preaching for preaching is the radioactive word of God that can reach your heart and impregnate you prophetically with it, open your spirit to the promise of God…

Just receive right now the anointing of the Holy Spirit in your life, say to the Holy Spirit I believe what you are promising, I believe that you are real, I believe that you can turn my life around, I believe that you can do a miracle in my life and that no matter how difficult what I am facing about my past or whatever, you can turn it into something marvelous, something positive, something powerful, something wonderful. Oh if you would only have enough faith to receive what I am saying and to believe that it is for you, young person.

If you had enough faith to believe that this is for you and open your chest and say: the spirit of God enters my life and make me a warrior of yours, I am going to live seriously for you, I am going to take seriously, and I will live with hunger and thirst for your anointing,

You know what you need, you need hunger and thirst for the power of the Holy Spirit in your life because if you don't have hunger, if you are not hungry, if you are not thirsty for the power of the Holy Spirit, God is not going to give it to you, you got to desire it, you got to acknowledge your need for it, you got to want it, you got to know that without it you cannot tackle the tasks of life, but if you want it, God has it for you and the more you need the more of the power of the Holy Spirit will flow your life, so believe in the name of Jesus right now, receive it, activate in the name of Jesus.

That little group up there in the name of Jesus …I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ and I send the power of the Holy Spirit on your lives, young people, receive it right now. Say in your heart, I receive the anointing of God, I receive the anointing of God in my life, just say it, like you believe it,. Like you really mean it and receive the anointing and God is going to do something marvelous in your life. He is going to do it because he accomplishes what he promises, if you dare right now the anointing of the Holy Spirit it's for you, it's for you, right now, receive it.

Receive it in the name of Jesus, say: I am hungry for you Holy Spirit, I am hungry, I am thirsty for you, activate your power in me, activate your power in me, flow the spirit of God in my life, come on just let that spirit flow in your life, clarify the pipe so that it flows.

God wants to do great things in your life, but he is not going to do them if you are simply there looking at little birds in the air, thinking about other things while the word of the Lord is wanting to nest and land in your life , God honors striving and courageous people. God does not honor the person who is out there with his mind on 17 things. Do you think that God does not respect himself? Do you believe that God is going to bless someone that the word of God?

God is only going to bless you if you honor the word of God, if you take it seriously, do not believe for a moment that the word of God is going to land in your life if you're underestimated its importance, you better interact with the word of God when it falls into your life as important thing, you better just receive it, actively and enter into a dialogue with it, that's the only way God is going to bless your life, take it seriously.

Take the word of the Lord seriously, God is already tired of people playing religion, playing with dolls here in church, that already... that disgusts the Lord, you know? It is time to get serious with God and begin to seek God's anointing for our lives, take seriously the call of God in our lives in the name of Jesus.

Father, anoint us, fill us, right now baptize us with your Holy Spirit, baptize us with your Holy Spirit, give us a fresh portion of your power again Lord, thank God thank you God.

We are going to sing that chorus that we sang at the beginning: Spirit of the trill God (Meche, give me a little leaf that is under there...) spirit of the trill God falls on me again, says: take me, form me, fill me and use me.

If you're in a hurry, I'm so sorry because we have time for everything but we don't have time to receive the most precious thing of all which is a fresh anointing from the Lord on our lives, so let's tell the Mister.

Spirit of the triune God

Fall on me again

Spirit of the triune God

Fall on me again

Spirit of the triune God

Fall again on me

Spirit of the triune God

Fall again on me

Take me form me

Fill me, use me

Spirit of the triune God

Fall back into me

Spirit of the triune God

Fall back into me

Take me, form me

Fill me, use me

Spirit of the triune God

Fall back into My

Hallelujah! Give the Lord a big round of applause. May the grace of the Lord be with each of you. We are going to live victorious lives in the Lord, we are going to be hungry and thirsty people for the anointing of God, because there is the hope of every believer, and there is the hope of the world; a church filled and anointed with the Holy Spirit, God bless you brothers.
